My husband google red snapper fish near me and was redirected to this supermarket that was 38 minutes away from our home. We arrived early afternoon to a packed store with no mask mandate enforced however we wore mask the looks we received from me being black American and my Irish American husband was so strong people would stop walking to look at us . We continued to this seafood counter to be ignored and skip over twice for service my husband said love about to say something I told him to wait then a female customer asked if we were first I said yes but its ok she stop her order and steps aside for me to step up and the man walked away to avoid me then a Spanish worker appears (with a mask on) and helps us. When we went to front of store to pay the people watched us and stop talking and anything. My point is we just want to buy fish their is too much hate and confusion in this world when one exists there home there should go about there day treating people like kings and Queens and watch the response and love they receive. I will never return to this supermarket however I did pray for the mis educated people 💖

A little packed, but over all good quality

I just started shopping here and Im really enjoying it. Its setup really nicely and homey. They have everything you need and then some. Theyre always looking to help. Cashiers move really fast. Takeout is setup really nicely. Produce is fresh and tempting. The store may look small but its really nice and roomy. Highly recommended!!!

They have a delicious takeout

Clean neat and well managed with welcoming staff, fair pricing and an emphasis on customer satisfaction. It is uncommon to see aged meats in the kosher market, so that is a plus for meat lovers. The dairy department offer some products from Israel I can not find anywhere in America! The bakery is very good as well as the Sushi. In my humble opinion the fish is the best and freshest you can get from a supermarket in Lakewood.

Premiere grocery store, shopping there is a great experience especially building towards your Shabbos. Alex in seafood or Jose in deli always happy to help you. Store always spotless and organized makes that much more enjoyable, sushi station do incredible on special orders. It seems every customer order regardless of size is done with sincere attention. Other stores in Lakewood are good and friendly, but this team really sets the standard. Thanks for the uplifting overall shopping experience.

Large variety of kosher food

Look for the $$ super saver or pricebuster label for good deals on fresh items in their meat department. Date could be short, but either freeze it when you get home, or cook and freeze.

Some things are improving, af I compare to even in monsey. However, I shopped yesterday for a bbq & bought frankfurter buns. I was ready to use them, but when my dil opened the fresh new pkg I had just bought an hour ago, she saw they were moldy!!! That was extremely disappointing!!!

Love this place. Great selection of kosher fress to the high heavens. Dont mind the unmasked yentas that are shmoozing in groups and eyeballing you at every turn. Its normal in these parts. Just keep walking and youll be okay.

Very nice atmosphere

With the uptick in Corona virus in Lakewood, I was horrified to so many customers, lots of staff, including cashiers, and most management without masks. Guess the signs on the doors and the.announcements over the pa system proclaiming the legal requirement to wear masks are just formalities. I felt totally unsafe in the store and will not be coming back.

Store is clean, friendly staff and not overwhelming to shop. Not as big as the money store. I love the fresh sushi. I have simply sushi wherever i go and its always amazing. best salmon and sushi ever. I tried other places and cant eat anywhere else. They arent the cheapest in town but if you want quality and amazing service and fresh fish they are the only place to go to. Thumbs up for Simply Sushi. Bakery is amazing and i love the variety of groceries.

Great store! Amazing meat prices. Good customer service. beautiful produce. Biggest problem is that refunds are given as store credit if you paid in cash (they sill sometimes give cash if you push but it means waiting for them to redo the transaction at a register). Still my favorite grocery store!

Also a convenient location with plenty of parking just dont try to drive there during Lakewood Rush Hour I hope they open a branch in Cleveland

Nice place to shop. Wide aisles, variety of food. But the basic vegetables could be improved. Potatoes, onions, peppers. And I would rather buy them by the pound then 5 1b bags. Not always 1st quality.

Worst experience ever. I tried this store for the first time this Sunday and what I had endured while I was there was something ownership should be ashamed and embarrassed of. One of their employees, Jamal Barney tried selling drugs to me in the parking lot while he was clocked in on his shift. Because I didnt want the drugs, he reached in, robbed $85.00 from me, and ran back inside. When going to confront him, he threatened me and told me his friends that work there were going to jump me so he didnt have to give me my money back that he stole. I tried calling the store multiple times so far with no answer. Not to mention that the kid who had stole from me has a prior drug arrest record from Ocean County. The managers at this store should be ashamed that they had hired a boy who is threatening and stealing from their customers and knowingly allow him to do it. I would not recommend that anyone go into this store with their family. It can be you or your kids next this happens to.

Evergreen Lakewood is so disappointing! they have the WORST customer service, i have had many incidents there with terrible attitude from the employees, when asking a question you get no help and there is nobody who can even help you. i actually stopped shopping there for a while because of this and i tried now again...i had a small issue which is fairly simple for an evergreen employee to assist me with, but instead i got attitude and no interest in them helping me. I juts ended up canceling an entire Shabbos order because of it. Ive also spoken to many people around the community and everyone agreed with me on this. I just hope they can make some improvements...Such a pity!

OK.. The store has a huge selection of foods and all sorts of goodies. The takeout could be a drop better but its not bad. The Bakery is better then decent with typical baked goods. The main issue is that the aisles are to narrow and in the back they put the cereals and other pallets right in the middle and causes a huge jam. The staff wasnt the friendliest, but the last few times i went it was much better. Also there was tons of traffic by the bakery on Friday when they bring out the challahs (you cant move nothing). Now there is a new manager Yermi and I already saw the changes that he is implementing and lets see how it will work out. Will post an update.With all the people moving in there is only going to be more people coming so they have to be ready for bigger crowds.

I was curious about this store and went inside to food shop a little and when I asked if they had a certain spice they said sorry this is a mainly Jewish store. Wow I never in my life felt so embarrassed because it was near two customers and they heard, when I told management they said they would speak to the worker and Not once did they ask which employee had said that to me. I then decided to just look around and found out that the employees not only are rude but really care about the store multiple people just in a isle chatting, Me be curious led to my embarrassment but I also learned that its not worth me going to a store to shop when I would feel like a black sheep being looked at.
