Sailing from Lantana its a short 20-30min trip to the first fishing spot. It wasnt long before the fish started biting, most were inedible or undersized but it was great fun! The captain and crew are attentive and professional. Watch for the pelicans they are all over and try to eat the bait before you even get to cast it!

You cant spend a better four hours in the Lantana area! Even if you get sea sick and never fish, youve had a nice boat ride past multi-million dollar homes, then out to sea.If youre fishing (and the fish are biting) it gets even better. The crew are so patient with all of us first timers, they are non-stop helping to bait hooks, fix snags, bring in the fish etc etc. At the end of the tour, theyll clean your catch and hand the delicious fresh fish for you to take home and cook.It was so much fun, and so easy. Take your children; they will love it!

I brought my friend to the night drift fishing. It was her first time fishing. The captain explained to her how to use the rod and reel, and made sure she was comfortable before he left her side. He would check on us throughout the trip. When the set-up was changed, he again took the time to explain how to use the new set-up and again made sure she was comfortable before moving one. I would come back here to finish anytime!!
I went to Boynton Beach to visit my Dad. We took a short 10 minute drive up to Lantana and found Bar Jacks. What a great decision. These guys were on point! We fished for 3 days and have to say our best experience was with Capt. Bruce and 1st Mate Bobby.Bobby was the best we could ever have hoped for. My Dad has trouble communicating but Bobby was amazing! He was on top of everything. We never waited for any problems to be solved, whether it being baiting our hooks, fixing our reels if they turned into spaghetti, or giving us tips on how to set the hook and land a fish. He paid extra special attention to my Dad. He was really funny and personable. Bobby definitely sold me on coming back evertime I go visit my Pop. Bobby taught us how to bait the hook and all about every different fish that came aboard.We saw so many different fish and lots of sharks. A bull shark even breached the water. Thrilling! The Captain was great. Everyone got bites or fish every spot we went to. But you have to watch out for Harry, the pelican, he loves to steal your bait! Tell Bobby, Tom and Tom Two sent ya!
Decent drift boat. You get what you pay for on these. Drift 3 different reefs, and you catch what you catch. The crew was definitely helpful and friendly.

We had a very bad trip. First, we had three passengers, but were only given two rods for most of the trip. We asked both mates multiple times, but they did not prepare the third rod until about 2/3 of the way through the trip. Second, if the trip is even close to full beware. Once they fill the drifting side of the boat, passengers on the other side of the boat (the guppy side) will be fishing with small bait for small fish. Im not sure why they charge the same amount for both sides, but its disappointing.
Had such a great time with this Fishing charter. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday she had such a great time and they took great care of us. If we could go fishing every weekend with them, we would. My husband love it so much we are currently planning our next trip with them, might bring the whole family on board.
Best place to go fishing!! Im never disappointed, the crew is nice and professional and on this particular day; very busy. Price is very reasonable and you can bring your own gear or borrow theirs. You can drink and bring food. I just enjoy deep sea fishing with Bar Jack. Atmosphere is more relaxed. I travel an hour just to finish and believe me, its worth it. Thanks guys!!

Booked a private charter and even though the fish werent really biting, everyone had a great time. The crew and captain were all very attentive and professional. I will most definitely book with barjack fishing next time I want to have a great time on the water and not have to worry about anything else.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews- but when you cancel a booked trip without notifying your guests I find that extremely rude. Yes you claim your site says to call before showing up but I looked on the reservation and it doesn’t say that. Make it more pronounced. What a let down. I looked forward to this and am really let down. Thanks for that. So much for the last day of vacation.Update: went to the site and read the conditions and cancelation conditions. I’d like to know where it says to call ahead to confirm please. I knew there was a possibility of cancelation but when I received the confirmation email and never received anything saying it was canceled I was assuming all things ago.

Left on time but 2 fish between 16 people and nothing else. My group had 1 bite only. Great deal if you want to not have any action and get sunburnt. Also it was stated if you brought your own gear use 1 rod, people threw up 3-5 rods. Also it felt there was special treatment for people they knew. Service was ok, alot of tangled lines. I would recommend booking a private charter so that way you at least get further than 1 mile off shore. Took 50 minutes to arrive at first drop point, but it only took 10 minutes to return. It was like they zigzaged on the way out then straight shot it on the return.So for the title of the charter, just ignore the deep sea part. All in all im going to spend a little more for private.

Captin Bruce knows how to put you out there where the fish are. my son and I both caught fish, we ended up doing 3 charters while down in Florida. George and Bobby were awsome, very knowledgeable about the fish we were catching and all the aquatic life, they never let our hooks go without bait. They were very friendly and honestly made us feel like true friends, I cant wait to go back down there and see those two, I feel like I made real friends on that boat. So George, Bobby, if you read this just know you made a lasting impression on Tom and Dalton, and we look forward to seeing you sooner then later.

Amazing experience. Took my son for his 14th birthday and it was both of our first times on a drift boat. The staff were helpful and did everything to make the experience fun and exciting. Would definitely recommend for anyone skeptical, and frying the fish we caught up afterwards was the best part!
I booked a trip a on there boat for tonight 10/28/20. I booked this a week in advance and received an email the night prior reminding me of my reservation. My girlfriend and I made special arrangements to get a babysitter for our children and I left work early to go on this trip. We show up on time only to find everything closed. I call the phone number and the gentleman picks up and tells me oh no we’re not going out this week we’ll be back next week. To say the least I did not get a good first impression. I am not normally one to write bad reviews or bash a business as I am in management myself, but this is not good way to run a business nor treat customers a simple phone call or email would have sufficed...
My husband went out today and it rained while they were out (I was working or would have been there). Once it stopped several people slipped on the wet deck, my husband got severely cut up (he wouldnt let me take him to the ER but should have went). He was still bleeding 4 hours later when I got home, I bandage him up where Lady K didnt. We have been on the boat numerous times but now I will have to rethink going again. They could have done more!
Ive been on this boat 6 times the boat is using an old technique that may catch 1 10 fish per whole boat if your extremely lucky Ill never fish with them again 3 times in a row 0 fish for whole boat

2nd time was a much better experience. Turns out they didnt depart due to storm. However I do feel posting an update online or a sign on the door would prevent future problems. Now on to the fishing. My B/F and I had a great time. The staff was excellent very helpful and attentive. The water was a bit choppy and we didnt catch much but cant control mother nature. Overall great experience just be careful as when to go because its hard to justify the price when you dont catch anything :/

I’ve never done salt water fishing until last week. I have went on Lady K 6 times in the last week and will keep on going. Main reason I will keep on going is because of the staff especially Brian and Jesse!!! Guys are very helpful and patient with someone that’s new to this type of fishing.

I’ve been on this boat more than just a few times with different captains and crews I’ve caught fish at least every time I have been on it most the time I’ve been out Jesse and Brian have been the deck hands and they both do a fantastic job helping untangle lines put new leader line on including hooks and weights and on the way in gettin the boat clean and finishing cleaning it back at the dock and the captains and crew fillet the fish you catch great with the most meet possible you can eat off the fish I would highly recommend to at least try the lady k one time if you have thought of fishing in the ocean.
Captain Frank and crew ( Jessie and Oliver) made it the most memorable time. Caught some fish, enjoyed the beautiful day. I would definitely recommend.

My son and I went out on the afternoon trip today, it rained almost the whole time ..... but we had a blast!!!!! We always do. It is such a fun time on this boat, I read other reviews wear people give bad reviews because they didn’t catch fish or the boat was too bouncy Are they serious???? We caught two fish between the two of us and only one was a keeper. It rained the boat rocked, but we had a great day we would not have changed anything . The crew was great Ashley is AWESOME!!! She was so great with my son. Thanks guys for always showing us a good time, We will be back for my sons birthday I July. See you all soon!!

A few weeks ago I went with my son on a day trip on this boat as I have many times since I was a little girl around 11 years old back when this used to be the B-Love Fleet. The boat itself was clean and still very well kept however I really did not appreciate that they allow the staff to smoke cigarettes on the same side of the boat as passengers. Even passengers were smoking but I don’t think it should be allowed especially when their are children present on the boat. They also threw their cigarette butts in the ocean repeatedly, and that was just wrong all the way around. Their were so many people on the boat that our lines continuously got tangled and we ended up not catching any fish. This trip was mediocre at best and unfortunately I don’t think we will be going back to visit again any time soon.
Very interesting. On most Head head boats it is kind of a free-for-all when boarding and reserving a spot. Or, people say I was here first or the crew gives preferential treatment to regulars.Not here!When you arrive you get a reservation #. #1 gets on the boat first to choose a spot then #2 and so on. Well done. organized.
Just got back from a fishing trip. The seas were very rough maybe 6 feet. They should not have even taken us out, but they did.The crew was helpful and nice, but the rough seas were not going to make for a good trip. We never caught anything.Things got worse when 90 minutes before we were due to head back someone claimed to have a medical emergency. We were 40 minutes away from port. If true I would have expected a coast guard boat to meet us or at least an ambulance at the dock when we got back. But nothing like that. Which makes me seriously doubt that story.When a customer asked if wed get our money back or at least a discount on our the mate said, Absolutely not.I wont be going back.

One if you know you get seasick dont go because the captain will return two try to find out if you do get seasick if its possible because he will return back to the dock so it will ruin everybodys fun because thats what happened to us last night but I had a great time watching other people catching fish even so i didnt get a chance to catch my big fish so have fun. 3 they do everything for you and you also get the license if you look up their website you can see. 4 the crew were so nice with my leg because Im disabled they help me out
2/23/2013Went here for my 23rd birthday. There were 8-10 ft seas coming out the port. While it was rough out that day, it was a ton of fun! Caught a 4ft silky shark. HIGHLY recommend this place. Mates were nice, as was the captain. Readily there to help you with bait, untangling etc. Very clean, good humor. Not a single complaint.

Fished with a group didnt catch anything but a sunburn. Family on board of boat are the only ones catching fish. When everyone was just starting getting a bite and family wasnt we moved. It wasnt worth the money to not catch anything but a sunburn and a ride on the ocean. Ive done many of these in other areas and they knew how to find fish schools to fish on. Then they asked for a tip to when we got off. Most people tip when they help catch or clean fish for you. They might think about that to give employees incentive to get patrons on the fish. I know your going to say they clean the boat and help put bait on well they wouldnt let you do it yourself. so not an option. There were addon people last minute more than i was told was going to be on the boat we all kept getting tangled up due to overcrowding. The party next to us was drunk and had tons of glass bottle beer they brought.
If your a smoker and like to throw cigarette butts in the ocean then this is the company for you. Look elsewhere other drift boats don’t do this. I survived the 1980’s when everyone was smoking- I don’t want to go back!
Very friendly staff. They provide everything that you need to have a good fishing trip. The boat is clean, they will fillet the fish when finished. Really good experience.

Had an awesome time! Took the evening trip, thank goodness we did. Water was just a little choppy, but totally comfortable. Not overly crowded. Even at night, we could clearly see out in front of us, very well lit. Crew was amazing, very interactive, always there to help or answer questions. They hurried right over with hooks whenever someone screamed Fish on Line! And almost everyone was catching fish. Lots of fun. Would definitely recommend.
Took my husband fishing for his birthday. We had a great time, the captain was very informative, friendly and even shared some of his recipes with us. The deckhand Travis was attentive and took initiative to help out. It rained for our trip but it didnt stop us fishing in the rain and having a blast. We are definitely going to be fishing with Bar Jack fishing again.
Not much biting on our trip but we had fun and the crew was great! They seem to have a lot of regular passengers so I think well try this place again if were ever back in town.
I visited here last night with my wife and father in-law from out of town.There was an excellent group of folks at Bar Jack Fishing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some great entertainment. As far as I know the only outfit that has a standing evening trip (6:30-10:30). Get out there and fish!!
I think its a nice thing to do, but there are many considerations to keep in mind and the staff wasnt very helpful.I took the trip with my family and only 1 out of 6 people had any fishing experience. The crew didnt explain how to do it, but we asked. We had the theory but if it is your first time... well, its not easy. My case: I messed up the line and the guy got really upset. He cursed and was very rude. And yes, it was my mistake, maybe a really stupid mistake, but I never had fished in my life. Like most people that day on the boat. I was a regular tourist. So it might be easy for them, not for me. I thought they were there to help.Other things that you may want to take into consideration: youre going to be out in the ocean, youre going to be sick, hot, (even bored) and dehydrated. All at the same time.I had a great time, nevertheless, but it was not thanks to the crew. Id have really appreciated more information and patience!

Good Fishing charters can be hard to chose. Bar Jack gives you a great value for $40. Three trips a day. We did two morning runs. 8 to noon. These type of trips draws in the very exprienced to the novice. They have a great way to address that-First come, first on board. So if you want to pick your spot on the boat, get there early. Crew is super helpful.

Excellent. $35 for seniors over 65 (weekdays only) $35 for active teachers, military, and law enforcement. $25 for children under 12. The boar has 2 sides. One side for catching big fish and the other for small fish. Workers will set your bait for you. If you catch anything they will also fillet the fish for you.
Friendly crew helped rig the rods and land fish! The crew taught new fishermen the technique to land the fish. I fish this boat each year.
I have been one of the customers of this Awesome Boat for many years. I vacation to Florida once and sometimes twice per year. The main reason I go to Florida is to fish aboard the Lady K. The boat crew make you feel like family and try their hardest to get you hooked on some fish. I have tried the other drift boats around the West Palm Beach area and decided Bar Jack Fishing and the Lady K have won my business.
The Capt and mate were extremely friendly and helpful. The boat is fine.
