I love the Donut Hole (which offers more than donuts)! My favorite is their hot glazed donuts because they are so fluffy and delicious! I usually go through the drive through, and the drive through line should be a clear indication of what a popular local gem this place is! The staff is always friendly, quick service, and the donuts always taste FRESH!!! So, dont be discouraged if you find yourself waiting in a line around the building, trust me... its worth the wait!!!

Best donuts anywhere. They put Dunkin Donuts to shame. For such a tiny place, their menu is extensive, too.

Good hot glazed donuts. Breakfast bowl and crescents are good as well. The lines were long so dont be in a rush.

Nice place. Nothing fancy but loved it. Sat and drank coffee until i was ready to order my breakfast. Ordered the platter and couldnt finish because i was full. Staff were very friendly as well. Next time i am in the area i will have breakfast there again!

Stopped in this morning during the rush. The apple fritters looked delicious but they are huge, so went for the apple turn over. Service was fast and friendly. The turn over was good for the first half. Than I bit in to pumpkin. Back story I hate pumpkin. I dont know if this is a house special or the baker messed up. If I liked pumpkin it would have been good but..

They have delicious food but, the lady up front is super sweet and cares about the customer. We have been every time we come into town. Reccomend the honey bun, choc covered donut holes and reg holes. Amazing! But if you want the absolute best but its not sweetTry the burrito! AMAZING

I stopped in unknowingly trying to find some beignets as a tourist. The young lady was super nice and told me they don’t have those but the donuts they do have were the best!My son and I went ahead and got a couple for breakfast and she even sent us with some sample glazed donuts. My family are long time loyal customers of the donut hole in laplace, LA. Usually my family and I love having our Saturday Morning Breakfast from donut hole however this week was a total disaster to start the bacon and eggs were not cooked nor any of our 4 orders werent even a complete order. I have worked in restaurants and our potatoes look like they were from yesterday and just refried it was a complete waste of $30+ and we are going to eat elsewhere because I looks that bad. I think my 11 year old could have done a better job it was disgusting nothing was cooked thoroughly and my mother has health issues I hope you dont hold gets their act together.Susie Shields

Today was the first time I went here and the donuts are so good and they are fresh. I used to get my donuts from Dunkin donuts but I will start getting them here now. They are very friendly here too!

The donuts are amazing and the kalachies are delicious. I had the big jim and it was so good, a little spicy but not overly packed with jalapenos. Husband had the breakfast in a cup and it was really good too, the grits were great which is unusual as most places dont do grits well. The donuts were hot, fresh, and just melted in your mouth, so good, you wont regret stopping here.

Go there! If youre coming from North of NOLA heading towards there, go! Its a hole in the wall sort of place that has DAMN good breakfast for a very affordable price. Every time I have to go to the New Orleans Airport from Baton Rouge in the morning, I make sure to stop there for a bite!

Gravy Biscuit was a little bland, but nothing self doctoring couldnt fix. Portion was excellent in relation to price! Lots of sausage in the gravy was a happy plus as well!

Donuts are awesome. Service through drive through is good most of the time. Wasnt too happy about sitting at the drive through with no service for over 5 minutes and several employees glancing at the window obviously acknowledging my presence. Employee who answered was in view the majority of the time.

Mr. Jims Donut Hole has the best local donuts and king cakes around. I think many know of this excellent morning breakfast place around here and would agree. They also serve a hot breakfast that many order and seem quite please with....so yeah, high recommended.

I never write reviews. As a matter of fact, this is probably my first review on Google. I went in on a Friday morning with my dad who is a bit of a loose canon. His first comment when he walked in was I dont eat donuts, do you have anything else? . The lady was extremely helpful... We ordered bacon, egg and cheese biscuits... The coffee was great. They also have warm milk which is awesome. But the best part was when the lady brought us three free donuts...My dad ate 2 of them.

Wow! Sooooo... good and fresh! My son took me here on Mardi Gras morning and we ordered fresh, hot glaze donuts, a dozen of mixed, and a King Cake. Oh my goodness...every one I tried was scrumptious. I especially loved the banana pudding donut. It actually tastes just like banana pudding! I almost made myself sick from trying so many types! Id do it all over again. The King Cake was filled with Boston Cream and was absolutely delicious. After we ordered, I looked behind me and there was a line out the door. Everyone knows this is definitely the place to cure your cravings for donuts. They have a drive through as well. This place is very small but does a phenomenal business because everything is so good. I live across the country but Ill be back! Enjoy!

I grew up in and around La Place, and their doughnuts are on point. I hadnt been home in years, so I wanted nothing more than a plain glazed. It was perfect, though I only regret not getting a big Jim kolache as well.
