Celebrating my good friends birthday in Las Vegas. We had breakfast at Pyramid Cafe and it was absolutely delicious. She ordered the chicken and waffles while I ordered the Pyramid Pizza. I asked to have my eggs scrambled well and the taste was truly amazing. A pizza for breakfast is my go to and they made me very happy with their rendition. A must if youre in Vegas.
The food served at the restaurant was standard average cuisine. The steak I had was borderline well done instead of medium-rare as ordered. It was drier than I preferred. It also lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. The hash browns was not crispy at all. It was warmed up shredded potatoes. But the restaurant was convenient for a quick meal.
The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because our server was great. Beyond that, the only thing edible on my sons plate were the $5 Berries. Both our Waffles were exactly like Cardboard, these may have been a bit worse than Cardboard only because it took a really long time for the Butter and Syrup to finally soften up the Waffles, which still didnt taste good. My plate in the Photos is the Chicken and Waffles. Ive had this plate in over 10 States, this one was by far the worst Chicken and Waffles I have ever had!! Along with an extremely horrible Waffle, the Chicken was poorly seasoned, over cooked and tough. I got Water and my son had Chocolate Milk, our bill before tip was over $50. My first and definitely my last visit. You expect more in Vegas, especially when they charge so much more, when you dont get more, you dont give anymore. There are so many other choices, AVOID this one.
The good: The service was excellent from the greeter to the server. Ida checked us in and she was so sweet and gracious and welcoming. Our server Jennifer was amazing! The bad: pancakes were gummy in texture and lacked any real flavor. Vegetable Omlet was inedible. They are using an egg product (2nd restaurant I have been to here Vegas that uses this so beware ! No seasoning on the hashbrowns. Chicken and waffles were fair. Meh overall. For the price, i would skip it.
Had the philly cheese steak sandwich. Came with fries. The sandwich was good but dry. Needed some mayo on it. The steak was tender. Huge portions. The loaded fries were excellent. Nachos were so tasty. You get alot of food. Took the food to go and ate in food court table in corner away from people due to Covid.
It’s a nice and quaint place inside the Luxor. If you’re staying at the Luxor and are looking for a filling breakfast, then this is nice. But it’s nothing more than a cleaner Denny’s inside a nice hotel. Food was plenty and service was great, but for the price and wait time, I’d go somewhere else, if you’re looking for something nicer on the strip.
Our server Caesar was amazing. We came here for the bottomless brunch drinks and we did not leave empty handed. The drink prices are great and won’t bleed ya dry. Deff recommend coming here for brunch.
Very high prices but the staff were incredibly nice and helpful!
Great food, not horrible priced for what you get. At first I was shocked that it was $16 for a plate of pancakes, but it was a huge plate of pancakes. The service was really slow We waited a long time for refills on our bottomless mimosas.
A really good spot for breakfast at the hotel with a great selection and friendly staff. Love the Egyptian theme. Only issue is lines can be long at times and it closes rather early.
Pyramid cafe is the breakfast/lunch restaurant inside the Luxor. During covid there are ridiculously long wait times. I put my name on the waiting list while in my room. It took over an hour to get a table for 1. After being seated at a table, I noticed there were consistently 4-5 tables around me that were never occupied. I understand social distancing, but generally tables are very far apart (at least 8’). Even when I went to the Pyramid Cafe pre covid, tables were still very spread out. The restaurant is huge and they could easily fit more tables.I’d also like to see longer hours. Even before covid, they closed early. It would be a great spot for dinner. The food is good. It’s made fresh and the portions are big. The service is hit or miss. They do give you a pot of coffee on the table so you don’t have to keep asking. I was just shocked that the staff were unable to do two things at once.If your staying at the Luxor, Pyramid cafe is the only breakfast option besides Starbucks. Or you have to go to another casino or walk a ways to get to another breakfast place.
Good was great. Prices are fair for being in a las Vegas strip casino. Every time Ive eaten here the service has been stellar. Ive only eaten breakfast, but its always been good.
I cant imagine what process you have to use to remove every ounce of flavor from an omelette. It was a country omelette with ham, onions, peppers and cheese. I tasted none of these items. It was only marginally better than it would have been to eat my napkin. The hash browns were as another review put it, warmed up shredded potatoes. Even the coffee was average at best. It was certainly convenient, but I would have gotten more flavor if I would have gotten breakfast from the vending machine.
Had breakfast when they first opened up in the morning. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Omelet with an English Muffin. Can definitely tell that prices are different in Las Vegas resorts. $21 for the breakfast plus coffee. In my opinion I think that is a little high for what you get. Also, it seems the staff doesnt smile too much. Service is good, but the hostess and the waitresses dont seem to smile or carry on too much conversation.
They are open despite CoVid and the waits been extended due to social distancing patrons. While you wait you can go gamble and wait for a text or wait nearby until they call your name. Once seated youll notice it make take a while to get service as the server has to juggle around different tables. Service was good however food was bland. I would recommend going to the food court in the same casino and avoiding this place.
Where to begin. The waiter was immediately rude. Told us three times he would be back for our drink orders, never got them. Another kind waitress came back and took them, because she noticed our party waiting. My mom in an attempt to celebrate tried ordering the pancakes. The waiter shamed her for ordering so much food. She was then embarrassed and changed her order. The food was good but immediately after serving us said waiter was back with our bill. Fair enough we begin to enjoy our food, he is back again this time with a card reader, demanding we pay so he can leave. After paying with cash he tipped himself 40% of my bill. I was horrified. I am a very good tipper, but that tip for the service provided was horrifying. I feel I was stolen from.
It wasn’t great, had the southwest omelet, not enough toppings and cheese, holy half as good as the typical embassy suites omelet. Someone else in my party had the southern eggs Benedict which looked much better.
Way overpriced. This was $17, single slice of toast not show. Excellent service, however.
Dante was are waiter he excellent customer service. He always brought are refills on coffee and mimosa and food came out perfect and hot. Dante thank you for being a excellent waiter.
The food is good, and waitresses are very nice, but they lag hard if you get bottomless and bring smaller glasses, not cool! Also they don’t have a dress code posted but they still turned me away for wearing a strappy top! Come on it’s Vegas not church! But if you want certain attire it should be posted!
I ordered the chicken and waffles. I liked the chicken but the waffles were hard. We had an amazing waiter but food wise was not what I expected.
Little spendy but portions are big. Staff was awesome. Food was delicious and cooked quick.
Food was great more so the service was AWSOME truly fire waitress
Breakfast portions were HUGE and the servers were amazing. Never waited for drinks, and the food came out quickly. Great value for your money
Fantastic diner style food. Everything we ordered was great, and the coffee wasnt burned! All I can ask for when Im jetlagged and hungry
Coffee is extremely watered down. Couldn’t make new. Ordered a VEGETARIAN omelet and it had ham in it so they bright out a new one and ham AGAIN! Nat in the Apple juice and they just took it. Didn’t bring another one. The breakfast burrito is very dry. Way expensive for small proportions and horrible food. Our waitress was wonderful but nothing else was good. Wont be back
Pyramid pizza and pancakes are fabulous! Super flavorful. Highly recommend. Decent prices too. They cover the food until it’s served to you to keep it hot. Great service.
Good food, quick service, theres a bit of wait but we didnt mind.
Fast service and vegan options! Thanks for a great meal.
Had a great time! Restaurant with great 👍🏾
I cant say enough about our meals at this restaurant. Our party of five was seated immediately on Saturday morning. We had to wait a few minutes for the waiter to realize we were there and make sure we had coffee, but that was the only flaw with our visit.Dante, our waiter was exceptional in making us feel welcome, at meeting our needs and making sure our orders were perfect. The cheese on my scrambled eggs was more than I expected and deliciously carmelized on top. The eggs were fluffy and tasty and I couldnt get enough. The link sausages were phenomenal as well. Lightly seasoned and just right. The pancakes ordered by my sister in law were plate sized, delicious and buttery tasting with a hint of vanilla. She also ordered a denver omelette. My brother in law ordered a Pharoahs Breakfast and raved about all of it. Dante even remembered to bring the sugar free syrup. We had such a great experience there was no question that we wouldnt go back on Sunday.Luckily, we landed by sheer accident in Dantes section. He remembered our orders from the day before. Hes a magician for sure!We ordered different meals mostly, and everything was delicious. Two meals, two different days and both of them were flawless. Excellent Experience.
Great place for breakfast. Ask for Dante as your waiter. Dude is top notch and he sounds just like Denzel Washington.
Love, love, love, this restaurant the service is amazing, you get a generous amount of food for the price my group loved this restaurant it need to be opened all day. Thanks Pyramid Cafe. The best restaurant in the house
My server was super friendly and efficient. My meal selection wasnt okay but not for the price.
Customer service was ok, price was pretty steep. Not my favorite, not too bad
We came here from Illinois and this time we are staying here at the Luxor. We wanted to try out your pyramid cafe. The wait was not too bad however the food for the price we paid had no flavor it was so bland, such a disappointment. We have eaten at numerous restaurants since we come out to Vegas once or twice a year and this one was bottom of the list. The waitress did not even check up on us, the bus girl who gave us our drinks and cleans the tables was amazing!! She made sure that she was on top of everything with us and everyone in the diner.
Excellent service! The two ladies that served us were excellent! Huge portions.
I will say hands-down the worst food we’ve had in Vegas. Prices are a little cheaper. Food came out bland and cold. I actually sent back two different meals in a row, And ended up just getting an English muffin which I emphasize I would like to be hot. I Hate returning food. I would say one of the worst eating experiences I’ve had in a long time. Biscuits and gravy had no salt and no pepper Couldn’t see any sausage in it and was barely lukewarm. Will never eat there again. I would suggest spending five more dollars per entrée and go somewhere good!
Staff is attentive and delightful. Lorainne was great and took good care of my breakfast. The western egg white omlette was very greasy but, come on, this is a traditional breakfast place and you have to expect that. It was very tasty and well prepared. The fruit dish was a pretty good. Not the freshest fruit but certainly delish.
Breakfast was quick, really good, and had large portions. The pancakes are dinnerplate size.
We went for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and all staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious.
Great place nice environment awesome weight staff decent food.
Limited menu still, but plenty of options. Great experience! Will visit again when back in Vegas
Nice little place. Great pancakes.
Good food with a limited menu bcuz of covid they are slowly getting the menu back to where it was
Great Service Food was wonderful Endless Mimosas 😀 Iris was fantastic 👌
Menu has been cut dramatically. There is a slight price increase. Nothing spectacular about the food very basic. Service was good though
Very good traditional Breakfast. Prices are a bit high but the food is very good. Service was great and I would eat here again.
Nice Big portions of food, excellent service and food.
Decent food. Convenient for hotel guess, but pricey.
Great food just lil pricey
We waited an hour and 1/2 to be seated for a chicken sandwich that was sooooo salty it burned. The fries were decent though
Decent breakfast food and they seated us quickly.
Good food but the staff seems very confused about what food goes to what table, not organized well at all. The hosts are also very short and rude with people if you dont understand the QR code system.
Great bottomless mimosas! They make sure to keep them coming.
Descent food and good prices
Served me spoiled milk yesterday, I sent it back. Second visit my wine glass had lipstick on it.This bland DINER (not cafe) has been serving bulk box food for about $20 a person... spoiled and on dirty dishes.
Service was fast and friendly. The food was so so but the staff made up for it.
It was an okay dining experience. The food was pretty flavorless and neither of us had any desire to finish our plates. The service was very good though and our server was attentive and friendly. Its a good place to spend your food and beverage credit when youre miserably hungover.
First time eating here and the food was great and not over priced.
This place is located inside the Luxor hotel. Weve eaten here a few times for both breakfast and lunch. The staff are always friendly the food is always good. However this last visit on October 7, 2020 I tried the bread pudding French toast. Holy cow, not sure how I missed this before but if im there it will be the only thing I order. It was fantastic hot, crunchy outside and soft inside. With hot syrup and chocolate chips melted on top with a hot coffee fantastic.
The servers were great but this food made all three of us very sick
Horrible service took 30min to take our order. Everyone who was sat after us all was attended before us. Took over a hour to even get our food.
Food was good service was even better!
Food was excellent!! I think I found my new go to breakfast place on the strip. Plenty of food!! Great open area for atmosphere. Service was great!!
Long wait times. Wasnt impressed with the food. Wont go back.
Its very expensive place to eat breakfast if youre not willing to shell out a $100 dont go there Also their waiter and waitress service sucks highly disappointed
The food tasted good and the portions are big. The waiters where nice and helpful gave us coffee on to go cups when we where leaving.
We went twice in a week, the first visit was horrible. Bad waitress, the food we ordered was wrong, and we were not asked if we needed anything or how the food was.The second time was great, wonderful waiter and food was perfect.
Not worth it, take your business elsewhere.
With Covid, they have installed sectionals between the both. They have added signs that say that the area has been sanitized. Also, you see the staff sanitizing each area as guess leave. Meals are covered when bring to your table. Staff was great!
A bit overpriced, but service was great and so was the food.
