I have been using Berkey filters for years now, after trying all the different filters on the market. By far, they are the best value for the quality and money. These filters give the best tasting water, a huge improvement from our unfiltered tap water. I have no complaints and would highly recommend.

Got a deal on price with some seconds. These are excellent filters and the best Filtering System you can get. They are portable, so move from home to office to RV - easy. Change filters - easy. Water tastes fantastic!!! No waste of water like RO systems where you waste 4-5 gals to harvest 1 gal filtered. That is not okay in CA or AZ where we have droughts. Stainless steel is easy to clean, and looks sharp on counter. Basic system is not pricey. Filters last a long time. You can also remove arsenic and fluoride with one white set of filters, which only RO systems can do. This is really important. If you get extra filters, buy a larger canister size as the filters displace water inside. Fill up is once a day for a single person on small size in summer. Big Berkey is best for families. Just do it! You wont regret it. You drink a lot more water when it tastes great.

We use these filters everyday and have for years. We always have a backup set and several of the accessories for our Big Berkey filter system. We have a well with a mini water works system in the basement that is used for all household purposes. However, we trust the Berkey filters for our cooking and personal consumption. They are easy to use, clean and change as needed.Great filters and they are great for good health.MK

If they gave it to me for free Id give it a TEN... otherwise Im taking it on a bit of faith, fostered by the some respected friends... but I rely on it daily and it sure seems to be doing a great job at an economical (as such things go) price.I havent heard of anything better and Id do it again.

I purchased my Berkey because I wanted to filter out my city water. The black filters paired with flouride filters do the trick. Although I think the size I purchased is rather large for my family, I guess you cant go wrong with having some extra water. I plan to purchase extra back up filters, but it seems that the filters last a very long time. I have already recommended to family.

This is a retailer of Berkey Filters, not the actual manufacturer. So they may be cheaper, but the entire experience makes me wish I had spent the extra money at the manufacturer. I ordered from their website, and the product said in stock with fast shipping. I didn’t get a time frame when I checked out, so I emailed the company just asking about when they expected orders to ship. They said within 5 business days. 2 weeks later, I had not received any shipping notifications so I reached out again. And was told it would ship that day. That didn’t happen. I called the phone number multiple times and never got an answer. Every time I emailed they said it would ship that day. I finally received my order today, more than a month after I ordered. The customer service is horrendous.

I am so disappointed in this company. I loved my Berkey...so happy to stop using plastic, until...at about 500 gallons...and that estimation is on the high end, the water started to smell and tasted funny. I used a test kit from Berkey and sure enough the filters needed changing. I contacted Berkey because the estimated use is up to 6000 gallons. They would not replace the filters but offered me a pro-rated cost if I purchased new filters. I refused to put any more money into filters because they lasted less than 10% the expected amount of gallons. Even if the up to was 3000 gallons, my usage we be under 20%. This is so disappointing, I figured they would send new filters...no problem because this must be an isolated incident. I now think that this must happen a lot. Back to more research and finding a reliable filtration unit.

Ordered a Royal and an extra spigot. I was under the impression that I had ordered from Berkey. However this is not the case. USABerkeyFilters is a supplier. At no point when placing my order was I made aware that they are suppliers.I placed my order on July 29th and then emailed, called and left a message, and used the chat box to get a delivery time as one was not included in my receipt. Since then crickets.Now after reading these reviews I am considering reporting a fraudulent charge to my credit card. They have until the end of the week to respond.UPDATEmy filter arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with my purchase but this company needs to work on its communications. The plus side is I saved a fair amount ordering from them.

The filter kit is easy to assemble and set up. The water tastes great. Only prob is when refilling its easy to overflow the tank. You might return to the kitchen and find a big mess if u add too much water.

I had issues with my Big Berkey as soon as I received it in June. I reached out to customer service and Jeff told me how to reset and watch videos. I watched them all already but rewatched and still wasnt being filtered correctly. Going through replacement was a hassle and I just wanted my money back. I returned it in exact condition it came in including instructions and that was 3 weeks ago. No money back... I have called 3 times for some someone just to say manager is on shipping and will call you back. They have not. Im livid. This is the worst customer service

I gave USA Berkey Filters 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. After placing an order on June 19, 2021, I had numerous phone conversations with customer service reps regarding why I had not yet received my order. The lies just kept coming, up to and including emailing me a bogus FEDEX tracking number. If the choice is drinking muddy water and doing business with USA Berkey Filters, I would recommend learning to like muddy water.

Really scammy. They messed up my order and won’t refund me or send a replacement. Are avoiding my emails and told me they’d send a new part on the phone then emailed me saying they wouldn’t. Better to order straight from the actual company.Update Regarding their response: I have both called and emailed them and both interactions were scammy and they did not resolve the issue. They have not responded to the last email I sent. Cute try though…

AVOID AT ALL COST, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!I went with USA Berkey Filters because of their competitive prices, but now have been burned after not receiving my package. First there were delays of close to 2 months before getting my package. They updated me that they would ship the package within 7-10 business days and it was still delayed after that. Well, I went on vacation and when I came back I saw that the package was delivered online but never got my package. It was probably stolen because they delivered when I wasnt home. They have been very unaccommodating throughout this whole process and wont come up with a solution even though its their fault for such delays. Now Im disputing this charge through my credit card. Isnt this what insurance is for? Honestly, go with a more trustworthy company godforbid something goes awry. Pay the extra money because buying from this company is a risk I am not willing to take in the future and I dont think you should either. And apparently they sell refurbished products as new as well - I wouldnt be surprised as this is a very fishy company.

LOVE our new Berkey water filter! Cant believe we have been drinking regular tap water for so long. Once educated, youll never drink it again either. Great prices and customer service. Unprofessional feedback from Jeff Gleason. Its difficult to understand how this company is still operating. I placed an order for filter replacement and when ordering it said in stock.Waited months and then wrote the company several times and received little care or professionalism from Jeff. After calling him he then had someone in customer service send me an email but he takes no responsibility and he has no business etiquette.Finally, months later I received the filter replacement which was approx. $180 but they look different from the filters online. Our water from Berkey taste like metal now and I dont know what to think. I do know that I dont trust USA Berkey Filter Company.Its heartbreaking to think they treat customers like this and now I will have to reorder our filters...definitely from somewhere else!

We have been using a Berkey Filter for years . We are blessed to have well water . But there are times we do not trust the safety of it . For instance if we get heavy rains, we often get run off & the water is discolored . Every drop of water we drink, cook, etc. with has been filtered through our Berkey . This is a must have for our household & gives us great piece of mind !

Possible SCAM, Buyer BEWARE. I ordered a Big Berkey filter on April 18. The product shipped on April 26 and I was very excited as Ive heard good things. I received a notice from FedEx that the product was improperly packaged by the sender. I called USA Berkey Filters on three separate occasions. The first time, they told me there is nothing they can do as it was with FedEx, which is pretty rich, but they said they would see what they can do. The second time, they said they would fix the problem and I should expect an update from FedEx, which I never did. The final time, when I attempted to cancel, they told me that I would be receiving the product Monday, 17 May. I have not. I contacted them during normal business hours and I received voicemail. Theyve lied and I took it because of all the positive reviews Ive seen. Now, I feel duped and disappointed. Dont let this happen to you.

Ordered Royal Berkey and spigot, received order promptly (reason for two stars instead of one). Great filter!However; my issue is with the Sales Dept as USA Berkey Filters. I found a discount code hours after ordering and emailed sales the same day asking if it could be applied to my order (as it hadnt shipped). They responded the same day (on a Sunday - Wow!!) that they would honor the code and I would receive a credit for the order. This was on 12/26/20. It is now 01/14/21 and no credit has been issued.Ive emailed Sales several times now and have received no response. I would have cancelled the order and resubmitted with the code had I known I would be ghosted.Im a person who speaks with my wallet and word of mouth. I will definitely no longer purchase from this vendor and Ive already started telling family and friends to do the same as they like the filter.

I purchased my Berky from Jeff the Berky Guy Gleason. He came highly recommended from Jack Spirko of The Survival Podcast. Jeff is the man. I ordered an extra set of filters at the beginning of the scamdemic and Jeff shipped me my filters immediately. I had them in 3 days. My home is on a well with lots of iron and natural occurring trace amounts of arsenic in my water due to all the lime in the ground. I use my Berky with the added flouride/arsenic filters. My water tastes amazing now. Works great and highly recommend them.

Do not buy from this company! I ordered a Berkley system on February 1 from this company. Although this company took my money with no indication of any delay, it has now been a month and I have still not received my order. I contacted the manufacturer a couple of times which stated that there is no order from this company. I was excited about getting a Berkey. After receiving a damaged, refurbished Berkey while paying for a new Berkey from another distributor, I thought I would give it another try. Regardless of how good this product may be, I would find another manufacturer.

I wanted to give three and a half but wouldnt let me, my issue with them is that it said all there items shipped with in 2-3 days when I ordered, waited a week and nothing, it just told me a label was printed,, so when I called I just asked if they could cancel the order and they said yeah, but instead they ended up shipping the item that I ordered the next day, which I am not upset cause either way as long as I got my money back or the item I would be happy, but I just dont like when website say one thing and do an other but overall when online shopping theres kinks sometimes just like at the grocery store, things happen, but ultimately I got my berkey so it all worked out

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!I ordered a Travel Berkey with this company on 4/6/2021 to be used on our upcoming vacation. On 4/10, I had not received any tracking information so I emailed the company. I received a response indicating that my item would ship the week of 4/11. On 4/13 I emailed again requesting shipping and tracking information and received a response stating the item would ship that week.After corresponding with the company through their online chat feature, I felt that something wasnt right. I requested the contact information for their parent company (distributor). I then found out that my order was not processed until 4/12, and for some unknown reason, the order could not be canceled. Mysteriously, after receiving a call from USA Berkey, I received an email with tracking information. I called FedEx and the package is not in their possession.USA Berkey is awful. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from this company.Now I am running the risk of having a package delivered while I am on vacation simply because they did not process my order at the time of purchase, then refused to cancel.RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:In this instance, the delay resulted from USA Berkey’s failure to process my order in a timely manner, per the distributor.I ordered my Travel Berkey on 4/6 and my order was not processed with NMCL until 4/12. I consider myself to be very reasonable and a simple communication regarding any delay should have been standard procedure.I stand by my original review; I DO NOT suggest anyone to do business with USA Berkey.

I purchased a replacement filter in Mid March. I never received any communication of my purchase through email or otherwise. I have been waiting over 3 months for my order. When I tracked down the contact information and called them, I had to request a receipt twice. The representative explained that they don’t send correspondence about your order. (What???) In addition, she explained that it was delayed because of the cold snap in Texas. Again, no communication about the 3 month delay. I called again after not receiving it and the representative said it had just shipped. That was over two weeks ago and still no purchased items and no notification of any kind. At this point, I have asked for a refund and I have not had a reply. Don’t use this company for anything!Dissatisfied customer

When other venders were out of stock USA Berkey had what I wanted. As a previous owner of a Berkey I gave to our son I knew a lot about the system.I had an issue with no email receipt and it took only moments to go on chat for someone to come on line and resolve the problem. The problem was my email account and they re sent my purchase to another account where it arrived immediately.I called another company earlier in the day to get some information and would you believe it, after pressing 2 for sales I got a recording to leave a message. My message to them is... you lost a sale and future customer and no, it wasnt lunch time and NO... they still have not called back 5 hours later. Thanks USA Berkey Filters. All the best.

We ordered in February and just got our Big Berkey. While they look great they were late. Perhaps due to the blackouts, but still late.

No more plastic water bottles!!! water tastes great, Berkey is easy to maintain and i feel safe drinking my water now....

AVOID! Ordered filters on February 1st, which stated they would ship in February. My card was charged immediately and I promptly got an email confirmation for my order. On February 14th I emailed about the shipping status since I had not heard anything, and they responded right away saying that they would ship soon. On February 20th, I had no shipping confirmation, so I emailed again and asked for a refund, but got no response. On February 25th I contacted a representative through their website and she indicated that they had been waiting on a shipment from their supplier. When I asked for a refund she told me that she couldnt do that without her supervisor and that my filters were scheduled to ship out that day. She then told me they updated their website to say the filters would ship out in Feb/March of 2021. She gave me the email of her supervisor so I could send ANOTHER request for a refund. I emailed the supervisor right away, but still have not received a response. Polished website, polished scammers.
