Excellent service and great people. Would highly recommend for your machining/fabrication needs. The owner, Mr. Caruso even took time to show me around his museum of midget racers.

I continuously commission machining projects of all types to Micar and theyve been consistent and reliable. Prices to us have always been reasonable, honest and fair. Highly recommended for either manually or highly complicated precision CNC made parts. They are an incredible contribution to our community. Five Stars from our team.

Brian helped me get my used garage hobby lathe up and running! Machined a part better than the MFG. Cross slide works great! I need to stop by and tell him. He also has a mini race car museum up stairs. I was highly impressed with all of his Bridgeport mills and jaw dropping CNC machines. He charged me exactly what the job was worth. Great Job Micar!

Excellent fabrication shop and service. I have taken about 7 projects over there and they have done great work. Their business is set up mostly for bigger production-run size jobs, but they helped me out with some smaller jobs for my business with a very high level of expertise. Results were very professional and accurate. A great find.

Custom fabrication my ass. I needed a large production run consisting of laser cutting and TIG welding. While there, I had them machine a couple of small aluminum parts for me as I test. $150.00 later, they destroyed my pieces. I could have gotten better workmanship from a kid in a high school metal shop class. They referred me to Ramsey & Sons. Ill post my unfavorable review for them later.I feel bad, because the old guy and his buddy that own the place are great. I had a wonderful time walking the facility and seeing all of the racing memorabilia upstairs. We talked shop and went over my designs for quite some time. They seemed like a top notch custom fabrication facility. The son is an arrogant jackass. I cant believe the crap he lets go out the door without even a concern. Oh, well...their loss. I have since taken my jobs elsewhere.

Love these guys. Fast and reliable service, fair price for a quality product every time. The museum is a bonus, and Brians Father is a joy to talk with.

These guys were great. I had an exercise bike that had a bolt broken to hold the peddle on and they tapped it out and gave me a reverse thread bolt to get it back together. Saved me a 3k bike. Thanks dudes!

Micar Fabrication & Design Company is the finest machine shop in Las Vegas! My husband was badly damaged long ago. The poor old boy has a back that is stiffened by al dente spaghetti alone; his spine was severely degraded during a period of captivity far away from our beloved country, which he served for twenty-seven years. As a result, he now uses a cane to get around, and so has a dandy collection of the things. One stick in particular came directly from bonnie old Scotland, as did my husband as a teenager, some fifty years ago. The long, solid stainless steel tip of this crook handle cane finally came loose, this from steady pounding on city streets and other hard surfaces. The tip in question is made from thick steel; it was a custom job, very elegant and strong. Glue of any kind would not reliably secure the tip to the wood shaft beneath it.Enter Brian Caruso, who with his father owns and operates this very special shop. (Brians dad is a Korean War veteran who earned the prestigious Combat Infantryman Badge awarded to soldiers who personally fought in active ground combat, while assigned to either an infantry, Ranger or Special Forces unit--believe me, its a big deal.) My husband explained his problem with this favorite cane of his, and Brian promised a phone call the next day when the repaired item would be available. He also gave my husband a tour of the remarkable auto museum dedicated to his grandfathers racing career as a builder of championship open-wheel cars. My husband was much-impressed by the fine welcome he had received. Brian is an absolute gent. The next day came with a perfectly repaired and much-fortified cane tip. Brian drilled through the thick steel of the ferrule, and installed screws to fuse it to the canes wood shaft (the screws were also glued for extra security). Over two years of hard use have now passed since that outstanding repair: the cane looks and feels just as strong and reliable as the day when my husband brought it home from Micar Fabrication & Design Company. These are terrific professionals.A few days ago, we had occasion to return to Brian Carusos shop, where I met his dad for the first time; a perfectly delightful man of great charm. My husband had a new project in mind, which this time involved cutting to size some steel corner braces and then drilling additional holes in them, near the bend of each unit. Again, Brian Caruso was wonderfully helpful, particularly when one considers that this outfit does very large and important jobs as a matter of course. Our project was small by any standard, and yet we were treated with the same grace and generosity that greeted my ancient husband when he first visited Brian with his sadly busted cane. To paraphrase the great Irving Berlin, Brian and his dad simply reek with class--I enthusiastically recommend Micar Fabrication!

I called to get a quote on a part to be turned. I needed a couple hundred of the parts, and after sending him the part files, he asked me to bring in some sample metal so he can cut some pieces before quoting. I drove out there and he informed me that hed have them in a couple days.4 days later I called to find out what was going on, and was informed he hadnt got to it yet, and to give him a couple more days. I actually had to call him to find out he was late on the samples! I knew it was a cnc machine shop, but he told me he planned on just cutting them manually on a lathe, which I already explained to him was running my costs up. I needed this cnc machined to ensure perfect conformity to the prototype, and speed the process, which reduces costs. Id already received quotes for $2 on the part and was just shopping around. He then told me it would be a ball park of $10 per part.I told him Id just come in and pick up the metal. When I got there, they couldnt find it and had to search around for 15 minutes. This was a total waste of time. Terrible service, and ridiculous prices. He pulled the price out of air rather than finding out how much machine time it would take.Brian was the one I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with, and he runs the place, so I doubt anyone else there is much better.Save your time, money, and stress level and go somewhere else.
