I ended by rental on June 30th and returned the furniture.To my surprise, they still charged next fees to my card on Jul 1.When I called them they apologized and issued a refund. But again, on Jul 5they charged my card.I had to dispute with my credit card to take refund. See Screen shot.The online account still shows that my payment is overdue. See screens shot.How many times I have to call them and stop these fake charges? I wish I had not signed up for Autopay.
Make sure you reserve what you want before hand! I was interested in one of their gaming computer bundles, as a Christmas gift - for myself this year, and liked the idea of no real obligation. I called and spoke to a gentleman named Max the next day, and he walked me through what they expect out of me as a customer and what I would need, and that at that point, they still had three particular computer that I was interested in in stock in their store. Straightforward. I was not able to make it in to the store that day, due to work and my schedule, but I was able to make it in 2 days later, which was Christmas Eve. After arriving shortly after I was told that the computer had essentially just been rented right from under me and that I was only going to have a lesser model available to me at that moment. Max was very good with me, and worked with me as he could tell it wasnt what I truly had wanted, he hooked me up with my first payment being close to nothing since it was pro-rated, and it was already Thursday. I wasnt mad at that. I went to one of their other near by locations to pick up the computer after I paid at my nearest store. About 10min away, no big deal. Once I get the computer home, its not what I expected. Not going to get into great detail, but it under performed in almost every gaming situation I put it up against. So I wasnt too much of a happy camper on Christmas. Later that night, I go back on their website and look to see if they have any of the original computers that I had wanted back in stock, low and behold they did. I called the next morning, spoke with Max, told him my situation, he put me on hold for a brief moment and is now having the computer that I want being delivered to his store. Hoping to pick it up today, just waiting on his call. Max is very helpful, and I want to make sure he gets his props for that. Moral of the story, make sure you pay the small 20-25$ deposit to ensure they hold what you want if you are looking at their deals on the internet and see something that you want thats supposed to be available at your store... It will save you so much hassle.
I never in my life recommend that you grab some rent center I am a punctual customer with my payments scheduled for every Saturday and I always make them but the people there call you every Saturday morning to know if you are going to make the payment and I will I say yes but they dont have to call me if they know that I always comply but they dont understand and they are calling you and bothering you for that reason never in my life Im going to take something else from there. also I ordered a fire place tv and they told me it would arrive in a month and they began to charge me from the day I ordered it, two months passed like this and I decided to go to the store and ask where the fire place that I ordered was and which one I was for Paying every Saturday they told me that they no longer distributed that and I told them that if it was so because they were charging me every Saturday then I asked for a refund for the money that I had paid up to that date and they told me not to They could give it that money would remain as a credit for me to take another item that was how they robbed me
I rented a ps4 with them and paid every payment on time. I paid that off. Now I wanted a bed. Found a nice bed with a big grey head bored. I had to prove that I made a payment because they didn’t see any payment. Then I had my husband set the bed up while I’m at work and I come home to a plain metal with mattress. I let it go because I’m tired of the headache back and forth. But now I am paying off a bed I did NOT want. Instead a bed that they chose for me. But I won’t make them come and exchange it because that’s to much work. Please if you go to this location make sure you have pictures of what you want. They may give you something else.
I will never go to this store ever again I order a 65 inch LG TV a couple of months ago come to find that this is a 57 inch and when they did presented the TV to me at my house they did not bring it in a box.so I could not really see what the inches was I just noticed that the TV was not 65 inches due to the pandemic I had a lot going on with my family I had to bury a lot of people so I never had time to check.Until I ordered a laptop from them last week Wednesday. I ordered a Asus laptop 15-inch screen and when I got the laptop it was Asus but it has been used they told me it was brand new the laptop had a dent in it and also someone named Michael had his YouTube account sign in on a laptop then when I tried to correct the problem the guy Berrington kept lying to me plus after they receive my money blowing me off of for other customers like I did not matter anymore and now Im paying for a laptop that I never even wanted or cant even use for the job I was just hired for and when I asked for a refund they said they needed the manager to give me a refund but the manager is never to be found but it did not have to take a manager to take my money out of my hand and might I add when they did drop the TV off to my house they did not bring it in a box how unprofessional is that so now I am paying for a 65 inch that I dont even have for now on before I deal with any type of company I will read the reviews 1st.I use a different email thats why u cant find me
Worst Rent-A-Center location on the planet! Horrible staff with poor work etiquette! The “store manager” is no different, if not WORST! It’s apparent that he does not set a good example for his employees! They truly give Rent-A-Center a bad reputation and are beyond dishonest in their business practices. Please disregard the one star I have given these people, as I have no other choice. The staff is very misleading to say the least! They will tell you what you want to hear, and take it as far as fabricating model numbers and switching around serial numbers on your contract agreement to throw you off. Beware of this location and their staff!

The worst experience ever!Unprofessional, very rude lady, unorganized & lazy!I was set to have a delivery Thursday Nov.2nd they claim my product couldnt be delivered because the sales rep quit that same day . no courtesy call to advised of my product not arriving, they actually got mad because I said that person quitting doest have anything to do with my product being promised to me and not arriving. Instead of showing empathy they said I need to come get my money back they wont be delivering to me anymore . called corporate still no call back ! Ill take my money else where do not shop there !
