I stopped in very early in the morning ( for me ) and I met the ownerand he was very friendly, helpful and informative.He didnt recognize me but he remembered my government name from a phone call. He and the place are Great !He went over the various window tints for my vehicle and they had it on and finished in a short time. If you go when they arent too busy you get taken care of and get in and out. You even pray they finish quickly so youre not subject to George Washington Ts jokes but I will make sure anyone that asks me where to go for window tinting and sound equipment to go to Sound of Sunrise Florida.Theres a reason theyve been there over 30 years.I appreciate the work they did for me. 5 starsA.Z.

I just want to say this guys are the best......I bought a radio from them about 6 months ago finally installed my self every thing was working but had no sound coming out I was heart broken.....lol...I took my truck to them a 2005 dodge ram he had it working in 5 minutes thank God ...didnt charge me anything after just fixing some guys waverunener that he didnt charge neither obviously they take care of their customers also installed my alarm about 6 months ago nice clean work....... Took my week old car to get tint, after paying was told to go outside and check it out. Not only was my car full of leftover (baby shampoo) drippings, I had several scratches on the door that WERE NOT there when I took the car here! Long story short Sal came out and said we tint windows we dont touch the doors, so if you dont touch the doors they miraculously open up to get to the inside window! Besides the scratches on the door. There is a piece inside that the installer did not cut big enough and he pieced on. Definitely going to peel away. Oh and when I told Sal Id file a police report he said GOOD LUCK, imagine that from someone that tells EVERYONE hes been in business for 30 yrs! Good luck to him!

My experience here at sound of sunrise wasnt good, installer rushes thru installs & work, did not take his time carefully to reinstall/put back a head unit console that he even cracked my wood grain frame in 3 places other then 2 small cracks that I told him it had already and didnt install my ac vents properly either. Smh.. I do not recommend this place from now on! Go elsewhere

I just got a mono amp installed and I had a great experience. They got the job done faster than I could imagine and the level of craftsmanship is great. I strongly suggest this business and will use them again.

Went to Sounds of Sunrise for my window tints a few months ago and i was very pleased. So i decided to go back for them to install a radio and speakers in my car. I have to say again I was pleased with the service and my new radio. Prior to my visit for the installation of equipment, I went in for a quote and was pleased with the time that was taken to explain my options and exactly what they would be doing. The service was awesome. After installation I was given a tutorial for my new equipment. It was definitely another pleasant visit. Best buy, tint world, Brands Mart etc. Could not find anyone that had a clue about the product they are selling. I stopped in to this local shop thats been around for close to 30 years. Father and son operation. I explained what I was looking for and they came up with the perfect system for me. Really know the products and dont try to sell you Something you Dont need. Fast service and they simply do what they say. Refreshing.

So hard to find trustworthy businesses / people in Florida...but you can definitely TRUST Sound of Sunrise. The man in the store tried to sell me a new radio when nothing was wrong with mine. Luckily they had an honest technican named David who looked at it and told me all it needed was for the code to be put back in.

I had a great experience. I was treated fairly. The work was well done with assurance that they will always standby their work.

By far the absolute worst customer service Ive ever witnessed and experienced . Not only does the owner not know the meaning of customer service, but he is extremely disrespectful and racist. During my appointment, he was loudly and carelessly cursing out a customer . Whether the customer was right or wrong, he should respect his other customers and employees and by not cursing or be racist. I will NEVER go back there or refer anybody . Had my windows tinted here a few years ago and theyve began to bubble since Florida is so hot all four seasons, called and I think it was Sal that honored their lifetime warranty for tinting and got them redone free of charge!! This place is awesome and way better than the swap markets tints.

Outstanding job, I took my wifes car there to get new speakers and they knew exactly what I needed very knowledgeable . The instillation was great and he even fixed the car door that was broken(for free). What really impressed me though was the customer service, which I believe has become a lost art with some businesses. I called this location yesterday to advise of a problem I was having with my alarm system that was installed there (mind you, theyve had to fix it 2-3 times since it has been installed because they do a poor job). The elder man that works there told me they open at 9am on Saturday. I advised that the car would be brought before 10am. Upon my arrival, the instant I opened the door, I was looked at with the most angry face by this elder man. I made my way to the counter and advised about the phone call the previous day. He immediately raised his voice and started yelling at me that I had a 9am appointment, which I did not. He pointed to the window and says What am I supposed to do? I have all these cars here! You were supposed to be here at 9am! then continued on and on about how much of an idiot I am. I dont know if he did this because I am female, but Ive never had a man yell at me and berate me in a place of business like this in front of two other customers who were sitting in their makeshift waiting area. I explained the conversation the previous day, and he wouldnt have any of it, just continued making me look like a fool in front of everyone. He was cursing at me even as I turned around and was walking out the door (because I couldnt take anymore berating). There were still words he was yelling out as I left his location. Not once did I insult him nor raise my voice. Customer service in any business should be number one priority, especially a business that doesnt know how to install alarms properly (hence why Ive had to have them fix this darn thing several times already because they like to rig installations). I would definitely warn against visiting this location. They will treat you in the nastiest manner and dont care about your business, they also do a poor job at alarm installations. Dont trust them with your car!

I dropped the car off and agreed on a price with the owner and walked home. When I go back to pick up he charges me $20 more than we agreed on because he says my car needs more tint... I argued with him that I told him exactly what it was and he had my car when we agreed on the price but now its different. I find this to be unscrupulous business tactics. Be upfront with your prices and dont change then when I come to pickup the car.

Went to get windows tinted on my bmw and well let’s just say I’d rather have gone to the swap shop and had them done, the windows have bubbles everywhere, streaks and poorly cut, even after 4 months, tried getting them fixed and they declined. Wouldn’t even refer this place to someone I hate.

Called multiple times over the last week for quotes and no calls back. Owner or secretary sounded upset whenever I would call. Always people screaming in the background, I’d recommend to stay away.

Bringing my cars to them for years. Always professional and friendly. Great work on tinting, car alarms and sound systems. Wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else. Big retailers are overpriced and under educated. Bring your car here and you won’t be disappointed.

0 Stars from me for damaging the window of my Lexus NX300 and not taking responsibility and blaming the dealer saying they damaged it removing the window sticker and they should pay for it. I had my car for 3 weeks, like I wouldnt notice the glass all scratched up in all different directions yet they tried to blame a dog even through they were in all different directions and all over the window, even in front of the side mirrors, laughable! I am sure Lexus let me drive off after full detail and delivery with a scratched up window and I never noticed it. I called them back after a trip to the dealer to see about fixing it to tell them what I had learned and he laughed at me saying of course the dealer is going to lie to you. Laughable! I learned that Lexus vehicles come from Japan with the window sticker on the rear window which is already tinted and it is removed by peeling it off, no razor blade ever touches the car at the dealer. Second and most important, Lexus puts a clear UV window coating on the inside of some of the vehicles and it cannot be touched with a razor blade or harsh abrasive cleaners as it scratches easily and thats what happened here. The guy ran the razor blade so lightly in front of me to show me he didnt do it, he did it right in front of me. I am sure he wasnt so gentle when I wasnt watching, clearly by the look of my window! It is all over the internet and forums regarding the UV coating and problems people have had. Had I known about the UV coating, I would have taken it to the dealer to get it done in the first place. They refused to take any responsibility for what they did, instead laughed it off like it is no big deal, they orchestrated a fake phone call, another story for another day, just disgusted with this place and the 2 days of aggravation they caused. Mistakes happen, own up to them and fix it!! I called a reputable chain tint company who said they damaged many cars before they got a memo about it from local Lexus dealers so they learned. They said the UV film can come off with work and a razor blade or steam and they would tint my window, however, the 2020 models use a compound so it could not be removed they tried many different ways so I had to replace to pay to replace the window. I dont care they have been in business for 30 years which they keep saying, they damaged my vehicle and werent business man enough to own up to it! Never again!

ReTinted my back window here. Did it quickly. Looks good. I also bought some new front speakers elsewhere and they put it in for $30 quickly again. Sal is very personable and not pushy.While your waiting, you can go get yourself a sammich at Wawa cross thestreet.

I Have been a customer for going on 30 years of this establishment. I called Sal, And His Son David one week prior to my appointment to have a install in my 2014 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution Truck. To my suprise the unit Sal and David insisted i would like the most is the Pioneer AVH-4500 NEX. Both Father and Son, know exactly what would comfort me with ease for my listening and by me coming all the way from Atlanta, for the best install, cutomer service and great jokes. I love this place. I had a complete stereo make over In-dash Pioneer DVD player, replacement door speakers. plus subs. Everyone quoted me between 2000 to 3000... I rolled out of there under 1000.The whole process took about 4 hours which flew by due to the owner actually making small conversation. Which with a personality like mine we laughed the whole time.I have wanted a setup like the one I purchased since I was about sixteen years old, but due to other responsibilities I was unable to. Thanks for making my dreams come true.

Had a pioneer AVH 2400NEX installed in my tahoe. Sal recommended it based on how my wife and I wanted to use the system. I was hesitant at first, thinking he was a fast talking salesman, but after some research turns out he was spot on. Its exactly what I wanted for immediate use and long term expandability. Perfect choice! Next, Dave took the keys and within 1 hour the system was installed cleanly and he even gave a tutorial on how to use. Definitly recommend using Sound of Sunrise not only based on my experience but how they treated the other 5 customers while i waited on the install. Well done!P.S. Dave gave me a shout afterwards just to make sure everything worked well. Professional and personable. Zero complaints.

Brought new Escalade to do some after market work ( adding Chromecast) work, I didnt really know where to bring for this type of work. But these guys had no problem with it . Added Subwoofer and am able to mirror my phone to the factory screen, Works great!!!!

Customer service is A+, the owner is a really nice man. I had to wait at the shop to have my alarm installed, and the owner chatted with me the entire time to keep me company.There is a window from the inside of the shop to the work area so I could see my car at all times, but honestly, I did not need to.The employees are very trustworthy. I was watching them not to make them feel uncomfortable or because I was suspicious, but because I was in awe at the efficiency of their work.The tint specialist does his work by hand, and he did a flawless job on my Florida state legal tint. Dont believe the hype about cutting tint with a machine because they still need to cut it by hand. They order Llumar tint, and in laymans terms, thats top of the line quality.My Viper 5901 alarm works flawlessly as well, I couldnt see how the wires were connected but Im sure they were done properly as every little feature works.I highly doubt you will find lower prices than Sound of Sunrise, and if you do, its because their work is not as professional. Im not going to state how much I paid for my tint and alarm installation, but Ill say that I saved almost $300 compared to what Tint World quoted me.Any future audio work I need done will probably be done by them just because Im for supporting a small business like Sound of Sunrise who do quality work. I could not let these 3 reviews be the only opinion of them on the internet. The chairs are not broken btw, they only break when you weigh 300 lbs and sit in them.

The owner is Israeli and he thinks he is a slick salesman but me being a new yorker i had his number from the get go. I only dealt with him because he was close and i was impatient. The tint work was horrible edges were chopped up like an amateur did it. They didnt even clip my 3rd brake light cover down correctly. Then i give him my 12 box and amo to put in. He calls me and says 12s are no good so fine i buy 12 kickers. Then he tells me car is done come get it. So i come down he blasts my radio like hes so proud mean while the amp is cutting out. So he says i need something strong so i buy the upgrade. Now he pumps my radio like hes a proud daddy and guess what amp cuts out again. So he says you need to go stronger. So finally last amp and it finally worked but im not satisfied with Dakota amp to me its a non name brand piece of crap. The point is they have no knowledge of amps tint or anything else. I should have expected this being they are in sunrise. I will be going up to west palm beach next time.

The owner has a horrible attitude. He gets you there after making an appointment then he tells you he has no time to install your equipment even when you arrive early. He talk down to customers while you are waiting and paying him for the job. I never met anyone who own a business that dont treat customers like he does. His son should be running this business not him because with him there he will loose alot of customers.

This one is a real gem. Call any car audio or alarm installer in the area. You will always find lower prices then this sleezy establishment. Man has two chairs in his waiting room. One is broken so when you sit in it you fall backwards violently which causes a whip lash type feeling. He installed a Viper auto-start system in my car a few weeks ago and all of a sudden none of my keys work. The system began to malfunction. Now I had my dealership take a look and come to find out this installer jammed the viper unit through the electrical wiring for my steering column. I have already contacted a Lawyer but this is one shoddy business establishment you would be better off avoiding at all costs. When you call this man he doesnt understand english well so he begans to curse you and call you names. PATHETIC AVOID!

A friend recommended me to have my car window tinted at Sound of Sunrise. The owner needs to work on his customer service skills. I asked what he would charge for window tinting and I told him what my friend paid for the same service. I didnt mind paying the difference, but he didnt let me get a word in edgewise to tell him. He flew off the handle yelling and spitting; couldnt quite understand why he was getting upset but to be treating a customer with such disregard and distain in front of other customers showed me his level of unprofessionalism. If his customer service skills equates that of his talent for installation, Im glad he took his anger out on me rather than my car or someone elses car. His final words were, dont forget your kid! Oh? You mean the poor child you just shocked - why would I let any child near you? Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll wants his lab coat back.
