Interesting shop. We stopped for a specific brand and flavor of soda that can virtually not be found anywhere; they had it!! We bought their only case. I am sure we will be returning.

Great place to try a bunch of brand of soda youve never heard of. Its been fun to try several different ones back to back. Love stopping in here once a month to grab a six pack. The oddball flavors may surprise you (try Melbas Fixins or a fruit/veggie soda)! Theyve also got a nice selection of candies and snacks, but theyre a bit on the pricier end.

This is an amazing little soda shop with all the sodas you wish you could get everywhere else. you. Im a fan of grape soda... Or the memory of grape soda but all the mainstream grape soda taste like cough syrup. Ive found quite the selection to barrel through here and was quite impressed.

Always friendly, no touching bottles because of covid which is great, and fair priced considering all the fun flavors!

I love grabbing a six pack of mix and matched soda from them! The selection is divided up by flavors making it easy to navigate the wide variety of bottles lining the shelves. Theyve also got a fun selection of novelty candies, and the staff is always super friendly!

Excellent customer service in and out in a flash..I live 55 miles away in Kamsas City but will drive for my multiple soda fix!!

Im happy to write a five-star review for Mass Street Soda during this pandemic. I visited the store last week and was happy that the person working there (on their own) assisted me with deciding what to purchase. As the store has a huge selection of sodas, making a decision can be pretty overwhelming. I asked the worker for cream soda recommendations, and they gladly provided recommendations. The worker also gave me some advice regarding shipping because I had intended to ship a couple of bottles to a friend in NY.

Ive been to Mass Street Soda a few times, so I feel pretty comfortable saying the place is great. Its well-lit, organized, and clean with a large selection of unique soft drinks. Maren is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making every visit informative and efficient.

If you can imagine the soda, they have it. Have fun browsing the infinity of flavors and pick out a few. Unfortunately, they are not cold.

So I have yet to go to this location in Lawrence but I frequent the sister location in Kansas City, Missouri. From microbrewed soda to giant chain sodas to everything in between, this is a vertible oasis for those who are tired of the same soda you can get everywhere else. Even during this quarantine the Mass Street Soda and its sister location in Kansas City, MO ( KC Soda Company) are doing deliveries to those who get their orders in. I recently got a custom sampler of Japanese and some other sodas that I am looking forward to trying and drinking. I think next time I go to Lawrence I will stop in and say thank you personally to everyone at Mass Street Soda as well as the staff at KC Soda Company!

Fantastic selection, with availability to order those not stocked. $2.75 is pricey for a single soda, and there are discounts by volume, but its cheaper than a plane ticket.

Any soda you could possibly want and old fashion candy now too. Just a fun place to go in and hang out for a few minutes.

Pretty frustrating curbside service. I waited over an hour only to be finally told that its going to be even longer until the person in charge of curbside orders gets back to the shop. Why can only one person fetch and collect sodas? I have been to that store multiple times and can attest to the fact that they have more than one employee there. I understand that the pandemic has changed things. However I feel like this is just an opportunity for improvement.

A wonderful place that specializes in selling sodas and other drinks. If there is a brand that you enjoy than they probably have it and also several others if you want to explore other similar sodas.What I like about the store is its location off Mass and by South Park. It really is accessible to those who may be shopping, out for a walk or just leaving dinner at one of the many other restaurants along the road.Furthermore the inside is clean and well organized while what I love the most is the big map on one of the walls. This map is of the United States and shows the preferred soda brand of each state.This is truly a stop for any local....

They have so many different sodas and even candy to go with your soda. They also have can chill your soda if wanted.

Went in the store and was impressed with the selection of soda that the store has. I enjoyed it and enjoyed the cherry limeade soda was awesome! It is a little pricey but with the large selection and different varieties it is worth it, definitely will come back!

This is a fun place. I appreciate having a business like this on Mass St. They have a very vast selection. You can build your own 6 pack to be able to try a variety of flavors. You can also grab one off the shelf and they will chill it on the spot for immediate consumption while youre enjoying Mass St. We love to take out of town guests there as part of our Lawrence tour.

Love the selection and the bulk discounts! Best place to get a great variety of both traditional and unusual sodas, and they have a good variety of diet and sugar free drinks as well. They also make ice cream floats with your choice of soda and pretty good ice cream.

They have such a great variety of sodas. Everyone is going to be able to find a flavor for them. The only downside for me was that their chiller didnt work too well

Nice place to visit. To walk around, see all the different Bottled pop reminesce of days gone by.. Little on the pricey end for a bottle of pop.. Nice outing with the grand kids .

Awesome one stop soda shop. If you need a soda, they have it. The staff is great and responsive to your queries. They are very knowledge about their soda. And when you buy the drinks, saddle up to the bar and enjoy a game and a cold drink since they can chill the sodas immediately.

Friendly staff, great selection, cheap prices. Delicious and refreshing. Its a unique business that you can come back to time and time again for virtually endless flavors. I always look forward to the best time I go and am never disappointed.

You will only find quality sodas at this store. My favorite part is the ginger beer selection.

I cannot express my love for this place enough. So many options, all of which were good, candy, great service and seating. No public bathrooms though.

Always a good time. Wide varieties, fun staff, very classy. I usually get a Leninade, which is a communist/Soviet Union themed soda. The inside of the cap has a funny Soviet pun. They are actually hilarious. 5 stars!

Just going to say...the person who claimed to be the manager (short hair, glasses) was impatient and rude to us today.If you want to make it on Mass St., you better be ready to serve every type of human out there! Be nice to paying customers.

I absolutely love this place. Like the legendary Pops Arcadia on Route 66 only a whole lot closer! Every kind of soda you could possibly imagine at a pretty fair price. I go in planning to buy a 6-pack but always end up taking home a 7th because I cant pick between 2 varieties.Dont rely on their instant-cooling method to bring your room temperature soda to a drinkable coldness though. Just get one out of their fridge if you need something immediate.

WOW! Took me back to my childhood w/ Gravette, Dads Root Beer, and Orange Crush. (& 1,000 other sodas from all over).

Huge selection, and the lady there was super helpful on what to get. I had a Huckleberry soda, which Id never heard of, and it was great. A little expensive, but since the majority of their sales are probably one bottle of soda I understand.

This is such a fun little soda shop! My kids loved getting green St. Patricks day floats after the parade and it was so fun to look at all the variety of sodas available. Huge perks on being able to chill any bottle so quickly and having all natural ingredients/low carb options!

This place was fun and quirky. Theyll even quickly cool your drinks for you. Each flavor category got its own dedicated Shelf.

Wide variety of stuff. Wish the international section was larger, but Im happy that there is a lot of other stuff to choose from. They offer to quick chill drinks on site, and it only takes a few minutes. Fun place to take people from out of town.

Holy crud theres a lot of selection here. And they can fast chill any soda if you want to drink it then and there. Bought a case and would have liked a little better discount for buying a large quantity.

Mass Street Soda has a great and extensive selection of sodas. I always stop by here after riding the trails next to the river. The shop also has a nice atmosphere, a nice vintage feel.

Best soda on EARTH. I highly suggest any Sprecher flavors (Strawberry is my favorite). The staff is very knowledgeable about gourmet soda, and are very nice. They also have a rewards program.

As a soda drinker, Ive found myself fond of bizarre sodas from around the world. I used to have to spend ungodly amounts on sodas that may or may not arrive in drinkable condition. From buying a 6 pack for around 50 bucks including shipping costs. The moment I heard about the soda store I instantly looked up the information and started to walk by the shop every afternoon that I could to try and see if it was open yet. I fell truly in love with the place the moment I stepped inside. They were still in the process of stocking a lot of their merchandise, but I was in awe at the variety they had already placed on shelf. I couldnt help but start bugging the staff for different types of sodas that I wanted to try but could never find from an online source, and they knew what, and where everything was that I was asking for. If you are a soda fanatic this is definitely the place to go for all your soda needs. From Rootbeers to Orange soda, the traditional cola to something as weird as Maple Chocolate Bacon soda; and from things like Leninade to something as gross sounding as Monster Mucus. I would recommend this place for people of all ages, and all interests in sodas. Have fun and drink deliciously.
