Efficient and friendly staff. I ordered a suit jacket and within an hour, I was informed that it would be here next week. The store is made of wood so it gets a little warm. But everything went smoothly. The prices are much less than I figured theyd be. Go here if youre considering buying a suit for any occasion.

I went to look at wedding gowns. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They listened to what I was looking for and also let me look at the dresses around the store. My experience was absolutely wonderful. I may have found my wedding gown there.

The team at J Lynn Bridal are the absolute nicest people you will ever meet. They were very friendly during my appointment to try on wedding dresses. This was the first and only wedding dress shop I visited... there is no need to go anywhere else! The space is pleasant, comfortable, and clean. During the appointment, a staff member stays with you the whole time, offering advice and suggestions, and answering any questions as you try on dresses. The dress I ended up buying was actually the first dress I tried on! I tried other dresses, but that first one was the one for me. I received so many compliments during the wedding and the dress is so gorgeous!When buying a dress, they take your measurements at the store while you have the dress on. My dress arrived months well before my wedding date. J Lynn Bridal offers to keep your dress in storage for free and also provides a free dress steaming service before your wedding day. They provided suggestions for alteration services local to Lawrence, KS. They also have other dress options for the bridal party, mother of the bride, and really any formal event that requires a dress. I am so pleased with my wedding dress and the stellar service at J Lynn Bridal!!

We went to J.Lynn Bridal for a wedding dress for my youngest daughter, getting married in March. They have so many dresses I was worried she would get sensory overload. I did a great job not crying, I was all proud of myself watching her model her dress for us. Then they asked if she was going to wear a vail, she wasnt going to but she tried one on anyway. And the tears flowed like crazy seeing her in the complete outfit. She said Yes to the dress 💗

She was attentive, patient, positive, knowledgeable, and great at listening to the brides needs and wants. They had a wide variety in sizing and price points. While searching for my wedding dress, I visited 3 different bridal shops (a local bridal boutique in KC, Davids Bridal, and J.Lynn Bridal), and I by far had the best experience at J.Lynn! It was the place I felt the most heard, respected, and comfortable. The 2 women I worked with were amazing; Jena was patient, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to, and Martha was positive, upbeat, and so pumped for me. They made my experience fun and stress-free. I found a BEAUTIFUL dress for an incredible price, and I would recommend them to anyone!

J.Lynn Bridal is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are always super helpful and polite. Most of the time I just pop in to admire the beautiful dresses and the staff has never been rude to me. J.Lynn Bridal was a gem hidden away that I was so thankful to have found. After having a disappointing experience at another salon, I took a chance and booked a last-minute Thursday night appointment with J.Lynn’s. Upon entering into the salon, I was greeted by Kay, who was going to be my consultant for the night. I was offered water and sat down to discuss the types of dresses I liked, didn’t like, was willing to try on, and most of all my budget. I was very adamant that I had a budget and wanted to stick with it. Kay understood me completely and took me to comb through some dresses on their main wall, which was their active stock of dresses. We then went to the other side which was their discount dresses side. They were having a sample sale when I went in and the dresses on that side were deeply discounted. I tried on about 6 or 7 dresses and out of those I had found the dress that became the one I wore to my wedding. Everything about the dress both met my expectations and surprised me, as I never would have thought I would have worn a dress with a high neck. I knew it in my head, my heart and my gut that this was my dress, and not only was the dress perfect, my experience was too. Kay took every minute to listen to what I had to say about each dress and she responded to both my verbal replies and my nonverbal ones and never once pressured me towards buying a dress. She said it had to feel right to me! Rather than be out on a stage in front of other brides, it was just myself and Kay, which I appreciated much more than I realized. I highly recommend J.Lynn Bridal for those who are wanting an intimate experience, quality, affordable dresses, and wonderful staff to help you through every step and emotion!

The nicest people and very responsive. They made me feel special every single step of the way and I had a great experience with my wedding dress from them. I went in to pick it out knowing nothing about what I wanted and I got literally the perfect dress for me. I am a little body conscious but I looked and felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day. Would recommend this over Davids Bridal or other chain shops ANY DAY (and well worth the price)!

After trying David’s Bridal and walking out disappointed with the service I had, I called J Lynn’s bridal and booked an appointment same day. I walked in told and her what I was kind of picturing (I’m a terrible shopper) and we started trying on! I liked the few I tried on but didn’t have that “feeling” and then she told me she had one more she thought I might like and asked if I’d be willing to try one more on aand guess what!? That was the one! I fell in love and I hadn’t even noticed the dress until she brought It back and had me try it on. Happy and stress free shop!Such a wonderful experience. ❤️

WOW, WOW, WOW!I cannot recommend this place enough! I walked in and was immediately greeted by Kay, who was my stylist for the appointment. She asked questions about the style I was going for and started immediately getting ideas. She offered us water and champagne as well, complimentary! It was a very intimate setting with gorgeous mirrors and comfortable couches and chairs. Kay helped me in and out of every dress and made sure I was comfortable before showing my party. I ended up picking a dress that I never imagined myself in, and it was 1/3 of my budget! We had about 45 minutes left in our appointment by that time and Kay spent the time finding accessories and trying different veils until we found the right combination. I probably asked like 7 times to get different accessories and each time she said “yes!” With a smile. I will absolutely be back for any bridal needs!!

J. Lynn Bridal is really lovely. I went in to rent a tux for a international wedding and they helped me figure out what black tie meant, and did it all while being careful to not misgender me and respect my pronouns and preferred name.A trans friend recommended this place to me who also had a great gender affirming and inclusive experience as well.Unfortunately the wedding was postponed because of COVD and J. Lynn Bridal was able to reimburse me completely, which wasnt expected.I cant wait to come back when the wedding is rescheduled!

I was in Lawrence for a few errands with my sister and Mom and on a whim, we stopped into J Lynn Bridal. We were immediately greeted by Jena and Pumpkin (adorable little shop puppy). Jena told us about a sample sale, and although my wedding isn’t for a while yet, decided to take a look at the sample dresses... they were all in pristine condition and beautifully displayed. I found one that is everything I was dreaming of for the big day.Jena was awesome helping me! I was nervous, because hello buying a wedding dress is a huge deal, but her professionalism and knowledge and a genuine love for helping brides shined through. I had so much fun at J Lynn and working with Jena. I would recommend the shop to everyone! You will have a fun, and stress free wedding dress shopping experience! I purchased my dress here. All of the dresses are beautiful. There is a big selection and prices vary. The guys got their suits from here too. They all looked great. They have a large selection of suits and designer name brands.

Jenna is a fantastic helper and the dresses are trendy, modern, and contemporary. Was able to find a beautiful dress in a short amount of time. Pricing is fair compare to other chain stores.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The store is cute, yet not too small. Definitely not overwhelming which is a major plus for me.

The staff are absolutely amazing. We only had one day in town and we didnt have an appointment but they still accommodated us and they were very nice about it. The dresses are all gorgeous and very reasonably priced. And again, the staff was phenomenal.

Every time I go into J.Lynn Bridal I am impressed with their selections of bridal and bridesmaids gowns. I recently bought my wedding dress from J.Lynn and couldnt have been more pleased. I had been to a couple of boutiques in the KC Area prior to coming to J Lynn. I thought I had found my dress at Davids Bridal, but I decided to keep my appointment at J Lynn. I was skeptical because I thought I had found my dress. They put me in a number of dresses before I showed them my dress (I thought) I wanted, and they said they had something similar. I agreed to try it on and thank god I did. It was absolutely beautiful & I am totally in awe of it. They were incredibly helpful when it came to scheduling a time to come back with my mother. I had a wonderful experience and the girls are awesome! Very laid back atmosphere!

Martha was amazing!! I wasnt even the bride trying on and I felt so welcomed. They didnt push for sales like other retailers (Davids Bridal). They were totally about how the bride wanted to feel and look. Yes the dresses are quite a bit more expensive, like $1500+ but the quality and workmanship is phenomenal!I wish I got my dress here! The selection was not for me. The consultant we were working with though she tried hard, had difficulties based off the fact that their selection did not match my vision. She was visibly frustrated you could tell and though I think it was towards the fact that she didnt have a selection that matched what I liked it felt like she was taking it out on me as the bride and that was frustrating and took away from the experience, because I was already having difficulties finding a dress that I liked.

J. Lynn SAVED THE DAY! Long story short I had been planning on wearing a custom dress that had been in the works for months but turned out to be unwearable 3 days before my wedding (see Janay A. Eco Bridal review). Very weary, I came to J. Lynn and they carved out time for me in their day and let me shop their samples. They were SO helpful and this shop has a beautiful selection of gowns and designers. I really have no idea what I would have done without their accommodation - my wedding day would have been very different and not for the better. I had been in much larger shops that I dont think I would have been able to walk out with something off the rack that I loved as much as my Nicole Miller gown. The selection and service are phenomenal - J. Lynn has everything you need.

This was the WORST experience of my entire wedding. I tried on a dress in the shop and ordered that dress. The dress that was received looked very different from the dress that I ordered. They sent this dress back to the designer 3 times and the issue was never corrected. I payed over $1500 for this dress and was suck with a dress that looked like a cheap version of the dress that I paid for, and the owner said she couldnt do anything to make this right. BAD BUSINESS!!! Be carful !
