This place doesnt deserve one star. I brought my car in early this afternoon for a tire repair. I was told my wait would be about two hours. At three and a half hours, I asked the status of my car, and was told it would be two more hours. I understand places are short staffed, but this is just terrible customer service. At no point during my three and a half hour wait was I given a status update regarding the time. I wasted three and a half hours and left with my car. Do yourself a favor and take your car to a professional.

They went about and beyond to take care of me. There was some confusion the first day with my tires. So I had to go back the next day. They took care of they problem and made it all right. I can not remember the ladys name. But she was so sweet and helpful.

This is my go-to place for oil and tire service. Very nice customer service and good peoducts.

I dont usually write reviews but I had such a positive experience after so many negative experiences at the auto center that I want to give the car technicians here another chance. I went in to pick up an order of tires which hadnt been processed and a young employee went out of his way to make sure that I left with the tires today.

I only need 1 new tire. They never have it in stock.

Always get my oil changed here and it’s very fast if you’re strategic about when you go! Bad weather days and weekday mornings are always quick for me. Got 4 tires done today and they finished in less than an hour (Tuesday dropped off at noon). Great prices too

Hey This place is a no brainier for excellent not cheating you place!!; COME ON AN OIL CHANGE SHOULDNT COST 50.. 60, OR 90 BUCKS UNLESS U HAVE A SHERMAN TANK! FIRE STONE WILL ROB YOU!

I purchased four new tires from Walmart a few months ago, and they installed them, too. I found out today I was missing three of my five lug nuts. One was completely stripped. I was told by a reputable mechanic that the last person to have worked on my tires (Walmart) likely didnt secure the lug nuts properly and stripped one in the process. This couldve resulted in a serious accident, and now I have to pay hundreds of dollars because the wheel is now damaged. Do yourself and your family a favor and dont go to Walmart for tire/auto service.

The best value in town for oil changes and non mechanical needs. They seem pretty helpful for a Wal-Mart auto care center! The wait is oftentimes a couple of hours but worth it for the savings!

PSA: Do NOT get your oil changed at this Walmart! We supposedly got our oil changed here, but recently found out that this was not the case. We were skeptical when our maintenance required light never turned off, but when we took it to a mechanic, they said the people who changed the oil probably never turned it off. We recently took a trip and checked the oil like we always do as a precaution. It was practically empty and extremely dirty, which was strange seeing as how we werent due for an oil change for another 2500 miles. I took my car into the dealership to make sure there wasnt a leak, and they told me that there was no leak and it didnt look like the oil had been changed at all. Strange, because we waited for over two hours for this Walmart to change it. The fluids that were also supposedly filled were completely empty as well. When we took the car back up to this Walmart, the manager on duty had nothing but excuses to give and claimed that since there was a sticker on the car, it must have been changed. No word on why the oil was empty, dirty, or why the fluids were bone dry. This is our only vehicle and we have been driving it around with no oil in it because of the complete and total incompetence of the employees in this auto shop. Do not trust them with your vehicles. Play it safe and go to a more reputable business.

I took my car to Walmart to replace 4 tires around 10:00AM this morning. I was told it could take up to 4 hours. So I left my car there and came home. Around noon, I called to check on the status and was told it would be 2 more hours. So I got a ride and arrived at Walmart around 1:45PM thinking I would be able to pick up my car in a few minutes. Then, I waited waited, waited, and waited till after 2:30PM. Then I was told that they were short on hands and got my car into the oil change queue by mistake. And I needed to wait for another hour before the car was ready! I really needed my car by 3:00PM to pick up my kids. Sure, we can put your old tires back on. To that I answered:Please! So at 3:15PM, I got my car back with all its original tires!!! And that was and would be my LAST Walmart Automotive Service experience.

My oil change has taken 3 1/2 hours, and it’s still not finished...

2 stars for the friendly desk staff. 1 star for the jerk Manager Oliver who kept rolling his eyes at me when I knew they were lying to me about a bad battery that wouldnt charge After they replaced the battery did I find the test that my battery was in fact good and they replaced it anyways. Knowing it was my alternator that was bad. Not my battery. Also after me asking them to just charge the battery and not replace it since its my alternator. I get people have bad days. Today was mine. But do not lie to my face and roll your eyes at me when I ask for proof.

Honestly I would have put no stars since Ive never actually had them touch my car. Every time I try to get my car in for an oil change or even just get a new tire, the wait time is 3-6 hours. No joke... I have never had this problem with any other Walmart Automotive Center.

It is what it is. Oil and tire specialty. Expect a one to two hour wait for your vehicle when they are busy. They always seem to be busy. The nice thing is that the pricing is very reasonable and they just focus on what you brought your vehicle in for. No up selling. Got tired of automotive shops doing everything they can to defraud me.

They worst place ever, came for a tire change and they literally broke my car and told me that it was already broken. My husband check on my car every time i leave town and it was definitely not broken and definitely not making a loud noise! The wait was horrible too, came in first think in the morning and took them 1h to change my tire with only one other person in front of me

I came to this Auto Center because I was traveling from out of town and I have got my car fixed at a different Walmart and they actually said that they could still work on my car for free since it was at another Walmart so I told him I was about 15 minutes out of town and they hurried up and got me in as soon as possible even though they were super busy they got all my tires changed and then they even topped off my oil because they said that it was a little low which was really nice I really appreciated this Walmart and theyre amazing customer service

Took my car in for a quick, basic oil change. No problems at all with my 12 altima until now. I picked it up a few hours ago and my car now has check engine light on, its hesitant when I accelerate, the rpm stay around 2k rpm even idles high in park. Obviously they messed something up. They are closed now but Ill be taking it back to them in the morning.

Theyre always pretty nice to me when I go and the price is very reasonable. But it always aaaaalways takes three hours for an oil change/tire rotation. Maybe I always go when theyre busy?

Absolutely terrible customer service. The gentlemen working the desk seem clueless, from greeting customers to anything about vehicles. The mechanic broke the positive box while replacing my battery, but said it was broke when I brought in.

Terrible service!! Went in a noon to get 1 tire put on the rim and they refused to do it cause they were backed up until 6 last time I went there to buy 4 tires they refused to even come out and talk to us cause we got there 45 mins before close. Worst place to go!!

They are extremely slow. They told me in the beginning that it would be 3 hours to do 4 tires, and an oil change. I went back to say I didnt want the valve stems replaced and at that point they told me it would be 4 hours, with only 6 cars ahead of mine. Its been 2 and a half hours and the car still sits where I parked it. If it is a understaffing issue, they need to work to fix it, because this happens every single time I come to this particular Walmart. I have watched people change tires, it takes no time at all to do it​. This is the last time I will bring my car to a Walmart. I will start buying at Discount Tire where they will be a little more expensive but I wont have to waste a whole day waiting. And they fix tires and do balance and rotations for free.

Do not come here for service on your vehicle. The wait is always very long and exacerbated by mistakes made their part. My first experience here, costed me 5 hrs and an extra $70 for one new tire installation. They broke my tpms and replaced it with a non-tpms rubber valve stem. They were going to let me leave their shop without telling me. Only when I questioned it, I was then told about the damage and instructed to go to an auto parts store and get a new tpms system so that they could replace it. I had to pay upfront for it and they would reimburse me when I came back with the part. I really didnt have the money to pay for the extra expense but I wanted it fixed right away...so i went and got the part, returned and they installed it. However, their machine to activate the tpms wasnt working so essentially the tpms isnt hooked up to my cars system. It doesnt function properly and doesnt let me know if the air pressure is low in that one tire. Please stay away from this Wal-Mart auto care center because they obviously dont care about about their customers or their property.

Slowest Service Ever God, I waited to fix the flat tire for FREAKING 4 HOURS, Im not exaggerating. Are you joking ??? It is absolutely ridiculous, I understand 30 mins to hour but 4 hours come on now..... People find somewhere else to go, you will thank me later. No No No period !!

Holy crap, this is the worst place Ive ever had my oil changed at ... ever. First time I went, they drained my transmission fluid instead of my oil. 4.5 hours later, I could finally drive home for thanksgiving. And this last time, being the last straw, went in at 1pm, they finished the car at 445. An hour and 45 minutes after they said theyd be done. Made me late for work. Moral of the story, dont use this place if you need to be anywhere within 4 hours or so.

Worst service ever. Charged me for wrong oil package. Wad supposed to change oil basic service and rotate tires. 4 hours later and they havent even finished the oil, but had it parked in the bay. Once oil was completed, they didnt even reset the oil message. Then wonder why I got upset.

Went in for a tire rotation and balance. Left with them worse off and had to go to a local shop instead.

Was told a two hour wait for an oil change... Was 3 1/2. Save yourself some time and go somewhere local.

Put me on hold for 20 minutes and they were very rude.

On the second hour of a possible 5 hour wait to have 4 tires changed. I was told there were only two customers with one tire a piece to have changed out before my tires were changed. This wait is asinine and completely unacceptable.

Horrible service. Bought a tire and they couldnt even place it on the rim for me. Would not suggest going to the location on Iowa in Lawrence on a Saturday.

The third time in two weeks I have tried to get an oil change and they have stopped taking people at 3 oclock. The cashier stated that half the staff leaves at 4! But they are scheduled to open till 7. Ill take my business else where.
