Went to the Iowa street store this morning. I was told I needed an upgrade but when I asked if there were any deals right now, Hope said nope. She didnt even check my account. I was told that I should order the new phone myself because I would get it quicker. I asked if she would help set it up when I got it and she said no, theres an app that I can download and I would be doing it myself. I got no customer service from that store. Never been treated like that before at this store. I went to the other store and it was like day and night in customer service and attitude.

Went there because my auto update on my phone messed up my phone and it wouldnt even boot. Only reason I went there was because it was next to impossible to get hold of a human when you call Verizon call center. The guy was not only useless but asked me to go to UbreakiFix store! I knew that was stupid especially since the automatic phone update messed up my phone, for which i was still paying Verizon btw.So i went to the Verizon store in olathe and they at least tried to get me a replacement phone, but after several tries I got through the tech support and after getting a higher up they fixed my issue.Train your people or at least teach them common customer service which requires them to seek help if they dont know the solution, not mislead and lie! Why have a brick and mortar store if you are useless, liers, and misleading?This is the 2nd time the employees have been useless, the first time a guy working at Walmart electronics store fixed my problem by calling Verizon customer support.

Just wanted to share the experience I had with the Manager Cody today. He went above and beyond to help me solve my problem with no internet in rural Tonganoxie, Kansas. Got a new phone and only negative was I was charged twice for all the accessories. Almost did not catch it as there as I was not given a printed statement of my charges. Store manager gave me a credit for the duplicate charges which was great.I would suggest giving new phone customers a printed statement to make it easier to review charges.

Nokia 8 phones are completely junk! I was scammed into buying one because they Verizon sales reps said it was a good phone and have had no issues. This is not the case. Ive been trough two of these phones with the same issues. App crashes, phone calls dropped, wifi disconnects by itself. Verizon has done nothing to help the problems. First phone they proceeded with a warranty claim. Second phone stated having same issues as first phone. Nokia will not do anything about their phones. Verizon customer service is horrible! I recommend this phone to no body whatsoever!

My iPhone was crashing and I thought for sure I was going to have to purchase a new phone. I was lucky to get Ali as my Verizon Representative today! He was very knowledgeable and knew just what to do! He helped reset my phone and took the time to make sure my pictures and contacts were safely stored in the cloud So I could get them back once my phone was rebooted. I would highly recommend Ali if you need help with your phone!!

Had someone helping us, then went to go get my ID, when I came back, had to wait an additional 10 minutes because our original sales person didnt want to help us anymore and we were given someone else. Probably because I didnt get the insurance or anything else with my single purchase.Dont be shy or embarrassed because I go to buy something and only buy that one thing. The sales pitch wont help you, but dont ignore us because we are still a customer.

I have been a customer since the late 90s. I have always resolved issues and bought my phones at the Lawrence, KS store. Today, I walked in shortly after opening, and was told that several were ahead of me. There were at least five people on the floor. They must be assigned to only do certain tasks and help certain customers with specific issues. I waited at least an hour and no one updated me on the time frame. Several customers walked in after me, but were seen in front of me. I was ready to buy a new phone, to replace my phone that went blank this morning. The boiling point was when another customer entered and told the person at the counter he needed a new phone and was told that he was next. I had an appointment and I left shortly after hearing this. Poor customer service, lack of enthusiasm with staff, and the staff seemed to only be able to do one thing at a time. I am a manager of a large department and I recognize when I see issues with staffing. I will be taking my business to another store from now on.

While I’m writing this I’ve been watching 3 Verizon employees standing around talking to each other. There are 4 people behind me in line and the staff simply doesn’t care. It’s also about 85 degrees in the store and there are flies everywhere. How does the manager still have a job? Shouldn’t someone care? How has this store ever gotten more than 1 star? Amazing.

It is a Verizon store.. not the worst placeThe thing that I do not get is how you treat your long time customers. I have been a customer for 20 years and I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with your Loyalty department just to get a deal that was agreeable.You should look at better option for long time customers not just the new ones.I never had a problem in the store they are always helpful but it is when it is time for a new phone. Its like just pick one off the wall and pay what we tell you. But if i was a new customer we have some deals for you 2 for one, buy one get 4. stuff like this is what drives me crazy.

We were sent to this particular store by the phone insurance company, I wont even get into the insurance company customer service. I would love to describe the customer service we received at this store. After the store made my wife call the insurance company (because they cant on her behalf) 3 separate times while she was in the store resulting in 45 minutes of wasted time, they would not allow my 3 year old to use their restroom! What the heck, its not like he is some drunk college kid. Common sense is completely lost on these people. Guess what, our issue is still not resolved!

Weve been customers of Verizon for over 10 years, so we went into upgrade our phones which would cost us $1900.00 not including accessories. When I asked about transferring our apps etc we were told they dont do that anymore, we would have to do it ourselves. Also the rep wasnt going to put the cases or the screen protectors on for us. Know wonder Sprint is trying to get there business. Verizons customer service really sucks theses days. We are seriously thinking of switching carriers.

Almost worth the drive to KC or Topeka for better service. It would take the same amount of time to wait and get help at this Lawerence store. So sad.

The service is very nice, and the people there do help a lot when you dont know certain things. When I was there, someone working there took about 30 minutes helping an old man getting set up with a google phone. He didnt know how to use email, or text really. She gave him the basics and offered for him to come back in if he has any problems.

After stopping at a flagship Verizon store in KC and being told bluntly I couldn’t do what I was asking I stopped by this location because they’ve always helped me before and would at least try and help and not be dismissive. Sure enough Sid welcomes me in to the store and says he’s not 100% sure he can do what I’m asking but he would give it a shot.I had two iPhone XS phones, one work and one personal, both on Verizon. The newer iPhones have an esim to support two phones lines and I wanted to merge them to one phone so I didn’t have to carry two phones with the same stuff on it.Sid (with some assistance from everyone else working there since this was not a common issue) figured out how to make this work even though he could have sent me on my way like the other store and I would have been forced to call Verizon customer support. I have a perfectly working iPhone with two lines thanks to Sid and my two phone life is behind me. Thank you for your help!!**update** November 2ndI had to go in for more help and luckily Sidney was there to go above and beyond and help me again with my eSim issue on my new iPhone 12. Can’t say enough about his help and getting both my phone lines up and going again. Thank you Sid!!

I came in the store today to do a upgrade my phone to a iPhone 11 and to get a apple watch. I gave my name when I walked in and sat for 45 min and was asked twice what my name was and was told twice I was next in line that time they waited on 6 different people who came after my husband and I.We have been treated like this the last three times we have gone to this particular store and will not be going back again. We have been Verizon customers since the early 2000s and now may be switching providers because of this terrible service we have received tonight!Sprint, ATT, and TMobile now has the same service map as you so service should be what separates all these companies......

First visit to this location. Arrived at a busy time, several people left because of the wait but they had a system in place to know in what order you came in. Our needs were pretty simple so everything went smoothly but did take some time since our phones needed to be backed up before transferring info to the new phones. Shawn was very helpful, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I am never surprised anymore by the wait at a store like this but count it as a positive experience as long as the customer service is good and ours was.

Flat out lied about certain things. On top of that when they sold us two phones, buy one get one free, they forgot to tell us it was up to $800. How are you supposed to read the fine print when there is none and your getting all your info from the salespeople. If you ask me, theyre a bunch of cons. I have a tough time purchasing things for myself.. But decided to treat myself once for fathers day... Nest thermostat and iphone x. Two customers in the store.. Figured id be in and out. I was half greeted by a woman slouched over in a chair on the phone.. Waited... Waited.. Then approached by a gentleman asking what I needed... Told him.. He asked my name and said id be helped shortly.. Waited in an empty store more... Watched another gentleman finish a transaction... Then walked to the back. Now its a ghost town.. with the first lady still on the phone. I stare around.. Play with phones a little while longer. I tell her thanks anyway.. She says thanks. Makes me wonder why I stay with a company for 15 years, when they have branches so mediocre. Hopefully theres a best buy still around.

When I declined to buy the $90 accessory bundle, the sales rep told me you might as well buy it online then and started putting the phone away. He said they dont sell the iPhone without the accessory bundle. But--he would ask his manager. When he came back that we dont normally do this but we are going to make an exception in your case.My wife had a similar experience when a rep implied the accessories came with the phone--then noticed that she had been charged for them. Had a hell of a time getting them taken off her bill.Going back to my recent experience, the rep also refused to unlock my old phone and told me it was against the law to do that. This is a lie, of course. The FCC REQUIRES Verizon to unlock their phones if they are paid for. I called customer service after leaving the store and they verified this was true.Once my contract has expired we will find another carrier.

Worst customer service ever. I was hoping for a 1/4 star option. No accountability for correcting mistakes. No coordination with the Verizon team. A real just deal with it attitude. I would strongly recommend that if you have a college student who lives far away from you and you are looking for a carrier that you seek a different cell carrier. Verizon has archaic policies that make it extremely difficult for parents to correct cell phone problems when you are not in the same city. A real disaster for a parent who is trying to replace a cell phone. Almost 4.5 hours later of time wasted over 10 days and still not phone. Many broken promises.

This place only wants to sell you a phone and high pressure you for extras. They will not help you activate a new phone. Just give you a instruction sheet and say it’s easy online steps. BS I was on the phone for hours with tech support only to find out the new phone had to go back to the store for a new SIM card. I went to Lansing by Leavenworth and they were the most helpful. They could not believe the poor service I had in Lawrence. They make sure you are happy and the new device works BEFORE they send you out. I will never ever spend another penny or set foot in the Lawrence location.

Customer service isnt at the top of the priority list at this store. Several associates just standing around, not helping each other problem. Receiving an I dont know is the worst phrase in the customer service industry. At least have a conversation and explain why. Associate didnt even know who to operate the phone I just upgraded. Even the manager had no interest in supporting the associates. Just stayed in the back. Ive been a verizon customer for 10+ years and my first time visiting this store. It was not a good experience at all. I will be going to the new location on 6th, hoping it will be better service and associates that want to build relationships w their customers.

Switched to Verizon with my wife after having sprint for 8 years. Everyone always said how great the Verizon network is and so on. My wife wanted to stay with Verizon so I joined the network with her. First off it is not better then Sprint what a myth that turned out to be. Ive actually lost coverage in places sprint never did in my 8 plus years ( before sprint got their newest towers up and running) that alone though isnt enough for me to write this bad review. When we signed up we signed up for Verizons version of a unlimited plan. Meaning you get so much LTE then after that is used up you drop to a 2g network. Apparently the store manager lied to us on that part because we get a wonderful text as we approach our data limit telling us it is going to cost a extra $15 per gig if we go over. Explain to me how that is unlimited. Finally the sales people and store manager at the Lawrence Kansas location on the corner of 23rd and Iowa. They really do not care about customer service or honesty....

When I brought it to the attention of another employee he just shrugged. Wont be doing business at this verizon.

Went in twice last week, each a horrible experience. I worked with 3 different people and all three had one thing in common, no desire for customer service and all in on trying to sell me stuff I simply didnt need. I cant afford pay over 100 dollars for their bundle. And when I explain that they just act like Im not longer worth the time. Im done doing business at this particular store and honestly I dont know if I want verizon at all simply because of this store.

Never had a worse experience in this store. Trent was helping out a rep and while she was ok, he was a complete ass. I get if I owe additional money because I switched, but don’t just tell me I owe this and I owe that. If I as to see it, you should show me, but no. Really really poor customer service in this store almost every time.Previous review:I went in to add two lines onto my account. I was rather unimpressed with the reps attitude. I had purchases accessories elsewhere and the rep made it seem like an inconvenience that I did this. I also was just kicked out of the store as soon as I paid. We didnt have any info transferred, the phones powered on, anything. I went to the store on 6th and they finished everything else out. Ill be going there from now on.

I havent had any problems with my contract with Verizon Wireless. I love how easy it is for me to change my data amount, because sometimes I need less data in a month than another month. I like the option of being able to pay for what I use month by month.I did have one problem with my iPhone 5s. I went it, got advice from one of the sales associates. When the fix they gave me didnt work, they overnighted me a brand new phone. I have total protection (insurance on my phone), which is an additional $10/mo. but considering I got a brand new phone when my old one starting glitching, its definitely worth it.

Let me start off by saying that I normally HATE going into phone stores, buying new phones, dealing with the techs. My old phone (V20) had been acting up really bad (Dying at 60%, never charging, randomly closing apps, and over heating ect.) and finally I had had enough and decided it was time to go in and just get a new one because I was done dealing with it and i knew it was something that couldnt be fixed in store. When I walked in they were quick to help me, I already knew what phone I wanted. So it was a quick in and out. However when I got home and turned on my new S9+ My screen was orange. So first thing the next day I took it to them and they replaced it, no questions asked. However then I got my second S9+ and the screen was CRACKED before I peeled off the plastic or lifted it from the box. At this point Im pissed, and crying. I walk in and again see the manager Marcy who replaced my phone just the night before and she did everything she could to make it better. They were awesome. Customer service was top notch. Now ill tell you to still lead with caution on getting the Galaxy S9+, seeing as i received 2 defective devices straight out of the box. However ill definitely be returning to this store for all future visits. Would recommend.

Went in last week and the gal I spoke to (brunette with glasses) acted like she wouldve rather been anywhere else on the planet. Very jittery, very spacey, and very rude. I wanted to trade in my phone and she immediately started telling me about the 8 billion different ways they could increase my Bill every month with add-one. We made an excuse to leave and went to the store in Olathe instead. Its people like her who give places like this a bad name.

Phoned, and got through the maze of bot questions, only to be told by a recording that Id reached the store outside normal business hours which the bot said were until 11 p.m. It was 3:24 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. I walked in order to exchange my phone; I was not greeted appropriately (ie: no one even greeted me with a hello, just how can I help you). Before letting me explain my delimna, staff proceeded to tell me that there is a new rule about exchanging phones after a new phone of the same brand is released..if that is the case, why is it not the same for every company; its clearly a verzion issue. I was not informed of this rule when I purchased my phone. Next they tried to tell me that I would have to call customer service because no one in store could answer my question. Not to mention, they tried to make me upgrade on a different line while still owing on the current phone I have; the customer is not important and they only care about a sale.I was a 20+ year customer w Verizon and now I couldnt be happier with my service from ATT on 6th Street ; thank George, Shelby and Dan for your AMAZING customer service . I am so much happier with ATT in every capacity!!
