Lots and lots of beautiful sunflowers here!!! You can walk among the rows and capture fantastic close up pictures of them. Great for families and couples!π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»π»Cute gift shop lots of handmade items including honey. We bought sunflower etched glasses to take around the corner to Irvineβs Winery.
Good place to shop and it has a nice variety of fruits and vegetables and meats. it also has a nice variety of deserts.
They didnt have sunflower seeds and and that was disappointing. However, beautiful scenery and perfect pictures for the family.
What a neat place, the best gift shop and we got cinnamon rolls that were so good. The sunflowers should be open by this weekend. I plan on going back to see them.
Their acres of sunflowers are known far and wide. The store has lots of local products and friendly staff. Worth a trip every year.
Its a cool place. A little crowded obviously, but loved the bbq and the little store and sunflowers.
It wasbeautiful out there...and early in the morning all the sunflowers were looking towards the Sun at that time so it looks like we had got there just in time for them to all say hello to us it was just once of many times. Dont forget to visit the crafts they display.
Acres and acres of beautiful sunflowers that bloom in late August.
I went on September 27, drove 4 hours to view the sunflowers (at sunrise), and NONE of them were in bloom. The website was not updated to let us visitors know that the sunflowers were not in bloom. I definitely think the website should have been updated every few days so I would have known. (The last update at the time was from October saying they should be in bloom in mid-end of September). I was very disappointed. My family made the best of it however. The shop was very nicely set up and beautiful. Might try again next year.
Suflowers are at peak bloom currently in early September. Small store with gift items, honey and baked goods. Porta potties onsite. Food truck at certain times and dates. Plenty of parking. Store and bakery take credit cards. Bbq from truck was very good and reasonably priced. Events are less than usual as adjustments have been made due to Covid-19.
Great little store.
We had been there over the Labor day weekend. They had BBQ truck and lots of sunflowers. The field that is closer to the sunflower general store is still growing. I felt the sunflowers in the other field (the one thats further away from store) has bigger and better flowers. The crowd was sparse in the morning (around 9am) but by the time we left, it had increased like crazy! If you want to avoid the crowd and click kickass pics, go early.
We enjoyed shopping for everything with a Sunflower theme...including totes, knitted toys, wooden bowls, wine glasses, aprons, kitchen towels, postcards, and more...we had a great time shopping in their store...and loved the relaxing walk through the Sunflower fields! We will definitely come back next September!
Such a cute store. There are a variety of items from cards, canned goods, soaps, lotions and beautifully sewn items...I love my new reversible table runner.
This place does a great job of displaying the beauty of sunflowers. Grab a souvenir in the store. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Amazing beautiful place! Please be respectful, leave a tip if you can, so everyone can continue to enjoy this Kansas Wonderland
We love Grinter Family Farms! The Sunflowers are amazing, the store is great and the staff are all super friendly!
Every thing is in the out building not the House. Food is hot and fresh. Social Distancing is in place. See the Sunflowers.
Very much enjoyed the homemade merchandise: sunflower wreaths, candles, honey, masks, pillows, jewelry plus other items too numerous to mention.
It was so awesome I got to pick out corn and I also got to pick out sunflowers it was so cool and I got us a cinnamon roll with dr. Pepper
A super adorable General Store to visit after seeing the amazing Sunflower Fields with trinkets, local honey, and handmade goodies.
Such a cute little shop, I think I bought one of everything. There were tshirts, many items made by the farmers wife, creams, candles, glassware, cards and everything in between!
Nice selection
Just incredible

Great day trip. Loved it, and the staff is so nice.
Was really nice day to go.. wish we would of went sooner .... ppl picked the flowers way to much.
If you are looking for a cool place to get a photo in front of thousands of sunflowers then this is it. Just make sure you call to see if they are blooming. Also there are two fields so if one is not in bloom then check the other. They have a general store to shop at and some food sales. Good little day trip near Lawrence.
Fun in the Sunflowers on Grinter Farms, Farmers Wife Goods are Golden, too!
Staff was friendly, supply of good was unique and specific to the sunflower patch! Only downfall is no restroom!
My first sunflower farm. Had a blast
Nice shop for community to share their homemade crafts.
Nice place to take photos among sunflowers.
A beautiful spot to visit when Summer is beginning to say farewell and Autumn is starting to say hello. A small patch of bright Sunflowers greet you when you turn down the road leading to the parking area. The area around the store was bustling when we went but it was a very relaxed atmosphere. There were many types of flowers growing and a row of orange pumpkins for sale. There was a photo thing and face painting for the kids but ours loved just running through the Sunflowers looking for one to take home. Inside the store were some unique products for sale and friendly staff that were very helpful in making our visit wonderful.
Photo ops were great! People were super nice & knowledgeable. Prices in gift shop were very reasonable. Food was great & good price, nice portions! An amazing experience for all!
Lots of great products available in the store, great prices, dont forget to stop at the baked good barn the brownies are to die for as is the rice crispies. Keep up the great work ted love what you have done
Not open yet. Sunflower plants are six inches tall, so wait until September and CALL FIRST. We spoke to the owner who just happened to be at the store. Very nice man. Store opens during sunflower blooming time.
A converted shed with some effort put into decorating and offering lots of sunflower themed items, but WAY over priced.
This was on my bucket list and will be on my new one again. I really loved the sunflowers. Was end of season and with a lack of water this summer the flowers were a little shorter then usual. Sunflowers are truly majestic. Am looking forward to next year already. Plenty of parking, port a potties, and a hand washing station.Gift shop is full of surprises also and ladies are most helpful. Did t go to bakery on this visit so I do look forward to that next year also. Word of warning for those who have problems with bees BEWARE! Leave them alone and they will leave you alone.
A really wonderful place to visit. very beautiful

If you live anywhere near here, stop by, support the local craft industry, and dont forget to see the sunflower fields.
They have cute knickknacks, but the prices are pretty steep.
After enjoying their fields of sunflowers, the Grinter family has created an oasis of tidy quaintness. Lots of homemade goodies and interesting wearables are in several rooms in the well-maintained venue. Outside shady seating beckons visitors to sit a spell. This would be a good place for family reunions, informal weddings, or just getting out in the Kansas farmland. The best thing about it is that it is super near Kansas City.
