Denial doesnt make hearing loss come back (I tried) so I contacted Neighborhood Hearing Aid Center in Lawrence. Kind, compassionate, affordable, professional experience all the way around. Bernadette and Garvin are real pros and I did indeed feel like I was dealing with a Neighbor!The devices they fit me with have remarkable capabilities and have changed my life for the better! No longer needing to have the same conversation 3 times with my family and business associates is a real plus. Going out to those noisy, hollow sounding restaurants is something to be enjoyed once again! Music is like, WOW! ... As a Private Pilot, having super sharp hearing is an important sense to keep in tip top condition.Took my 92 year old Mother in Law in and now, with her new hearing aids, she can hear what the grandchildren are saying AND actually have a conversation with them, instead of only nodding and smiling. She and I actually had a conversation in normal tones across the room recently. This was a first in many years for both of us!Only regret is not having done this sooner...

I have had an excellent experience here. Garvin and Bernadette are excellent, patient oriented people who have been very welcoming and supportive. They worked through all of my insurance aspects and have been very helpful on a regular basis as I work out my specific needs, comfort of my hearing aids and functionality. I have popped in several times off-appointment to have a tweak here and there and they are always helpful and accommodating.I had had hearing aids recommended to me for high frequency loss and tinnitus. After several attempts to meet with an audiologist covered by my insurance, along with the hearing aids themselves, and getting the runaround at a couple other locations in Lawrence, I am VERY glad to have found Neighborhood Hearing Aid Center.

Words cannot express the kindness you provided my 99 year old mom during our difficult time. Her hearing aids weren’t working well and I had no idea where to take them, since my dad usually handled this.
