This summer I worked in paint as a seasonal worker and I had a wonderful experience. My boss in the paint department was the best boss I have ever had. He was very kind and helped me learn everything I know about paint and paint sales to this day. I was sad to leave but it was the best experience I have ever had. I have never worked somewhere so accepting and zero drama. I would definitely recommend applying when they are hiring. Such a positive experience and a great place to work.

Been here twice, first time it was too chaotic for me. Second time I got in a wreck out front. Can’t go back because that turn signal scares me.

We bought a Tuff Shed display that has set at Home Depot for over a year. Due to delivery being so far out, we opted for picking it up ourselves. We talked to Russ at Tuff Shed and he made us a deal since there would be no delivery or installer. We did the ground work and bought rock for the base. On Wednesday, two days later, we received a call from Home Depot stating a refund has been issued. We went in tonight to find out what happened. The night manager was called and would not come down to go over what happened. Another clerk said it had been previously sold and the installer is the one that told them.If it had been sold, why was it not in their system or Tuff Sheds system? With us picking it up, why was there an installer? Why wouldnt the Home Depot manager come explain what happened? Why will Russ not return calls now?It sounds like a lot of closed door deals are going on. I would not recommend using this Home Depot to buy anything you cant walk out the door with or dealing with Russ at Tuff Shed.

Love the smell of this place! They got wood! Mowers! Lights! House stuff! Garden stuff! Bug-killin stuff! Idk if they got a Dave on staff but maybe they do!Speaking of staff - theyre busy but theyll help navigate you of they can and you wont be lost for long. The garden selection is what youll need, and its fun to just walk around and look at everything. Price range is what youd expect from a big store like this, and pretty much all the technical stuff is up to date. You might have some trouble if youre looking for something super specific but you wont leave feeling like you had no chance of finding it.

Home Depot had a fresh shipment of succulents and tropical house plants. I purchased some. They have been very healthy.

This is a great store. I always find what I need. The only thing I wish that Home Depot had was bullnose for their tile which they dont carry a lot of. But other than that. Great place to shop

Upon entering the store, I was asked to enter a drawing by ecosystems water. I declined. I was asked twice more before leaving the store. Suggestion: if you are going to let another company solicit your customers, please ensure the solicitation doesnt turn into harassment.

This location is TERRIBLE for customer service. We always have to hunt someone down to get help and when we finally find someone we just get pointed in a direction. Prices are higher when compared to Menards. We ran in today because Home Depot had underlayment for our flooring project that Menards did not have. 2 associates were of zero help. Finally, a female employee was AMAZING in helping us find what we needed. Wish I had caught her name.

Its a home improvement store that has so much more! The garden center is hopping with all your gardening needs. They also have a dog friendly environment! Bring Fido and get started on that honey do list!

I go to Home Depot often. When I try to find decent hand tools and power tools, I go away empty handed. Today I went looking for a Torx screwdriver, a pretty common need since so many screws they sell have Torx heads. They only had a few with multi head tools, none very good, and most without the size I need. Again, the size that fits the screws they sell. So Im going to have to go to a Lowes, or order it online. Not very convenient.

Big box chain hardware store where you can just find about anything that youre looking for. Not any worse or more special than any other Home Depot.

The employees are super helpful at this store. They make themselves available (as in you dont have to hunt for an hour to find someone that works there that can help you) and can quickly find another associate that can answer your question if they themself cannot. I especially appreciate the young lady that took it upon herself to grab a basket for me when I ended up juggling an armload full of products (though I came in for 2 things!) in the store this afternoon. Very cool!

Home Depot is an often overlooked dog supply source. Custom cuts of sheet goods make one off projects far more accessible. Sturdy baby gates help protect your fur friends and I got a locking trashcan to slow trash scavenging. There are plenty of employees scattered around to make the store accessible to novice users without needing their app. Prices have usually been fair if not competitive on everything I have needed.

Home Depot it is a great place to buy for home improvements. The staff is friendly and professional.

The prices are usually lower for lumber and some other items. I usually compare the competitors prices before going. The staff is always friendly and ask if I need help.

First time for curb side pick up. Ordered online and my item was ready to pick up in 1 hour. The 2 gentlemen that brought my order to me were awesome. Very friendly, knowledgeable, careful, and of course, wearing their masks . And yes, they also kept the 6ft distancing . Thank you.

If you get caught in here after dark, dont make too much noise, the man behind the shelves will find you. He found me once and I woke up a dad, I also knew how to build a porch and even change my lawn mower blades. Fairly certain I wasnt a dad before I went in there.

I receive mail that states I won a gift card, or job promotions that never show any results.

They say they have military discount, but try to get anything that qualifies!!! Awesome, they should just say they Dont!

Rented a lawn seeding machine. Returned it today. The older guy said there was a little spot of mud on the bottom and charged me the $50 cleaning fee. Berated me the whole time talking to me with no respect. I will NEVER go here again for ANYTHING. Will definitely keep shopping Menards, and if Menards doesn’t have equipment I need to rent I will go to Anderson Rentals. Worst customer service ever!!

Currently no employee I saw in this store wore a mask to protect customers or fellow employees. Customers need to be aware and protect themselves. Cloth masks will protect you only from perhaps 50% exposure, surgical masks are better (~70%) and KN95 and N95 protect you at about a 95% level. Customers wearing masks do offer protection to the employees and other customers. I won’t go in without at least a surgical mask.

Found what I needed no thanks to the staff...if you have to look on an application to figure out where something is... why have staff just make it all self check out and save the overhead.

Usually in and out no hassle. On occasion they have misplaced online orders or website showed an item in stock that wasnt. The few times Ive needed assistance the employees have been helpful.

Ive been coming here for years because its the only game in town but its time to face the fact that this is possibly the worst Home Depot on the planet. The store itself is your standard HD, minus any semblance of customer service. Unhelpful, unfriendly, unqualified staff that have no product knowledge and seem to get annoyed by simple questions, if you can track one down. I get that its a college town but funny how the Menards next door doesnt have this problem in the slightest. Go there, or Ace or even the Lowes in Topeka if you must, just dont support this place until they get their act together.

Do not recommend curb side pick up unless you want to wait in your car for 30 minutes

Great customer service! We had twoemployees help us but three approached us so Im very pleased with the customer service! Store was very clean and neat. Signage was good to find items also.

Not always the cheapest but if you want high customer service and good advice this is the place to go. My recent experience was the paint department. They will match the color on an object you bring them (in my case was a piece of a broken door) and personalize a recommendation based on your project and your needs. Wasnt planning on using primer but they sold me on it and it saved me a lot of time. Definitely know what theyre talking about.

Store employee Kayla Jones is amazing. She is quick and efficient and gets to the point. I really appreciate her attention to detail as she caught some discrepancies with our order and fixed it right away. She is very knowledgeable on all products. She also gave us all of the information we needed and didn’t try to push us in anyway. That is huge in my book. We will always go back and use her for future projects.

This home depot is very small and we often have to go to another location to find what we are looking for. The people at the customer service do not provide good customer service.

I dont really like the Lawrence Home Depot. They dont carry a lot of stuff the other stores in Johnson County carries and when you ask an associate where something is they are clueless. The associate s at the Home Depots in Johnson County and helpful.

Me and my family go to home depot often. Everytime I have chosen to take advantage of curbside pickup it has been a horrible experience. My stuff is never gathered when I get there nor is anyone in a hurry to get it. My husband waited 20 minutes for his pick up today. After going to help the employee gather his things he found a group of employees standing around talking not gathering his things.I was hesitant to write this review but this exact situation has happened too many times.If your deciding whether or not to try Home Depots curbside pick up, save yourself some time and get it yourself.

Racist employees. Different treatment depending on the color of your skin. I wasnt allowed to enter the store crossing over the rope. The white guy came behind me and enter over the rope. The employee said while I was still standing, oh come on in. Different treatment for different people. Not spending my money at Home Depot. Menard here I come!

Poorly managed. Very dirty. Employees stare at you like a deer in headlights when you ask them questions. Save your day and go to Menards. It’s right next door and you can also get some beef jerky. Home Depot in Lawrence, Kansas is straight garbage.
