I love 2 Shy Kids. We sell and buy, we get good value for our clothes without having to put online or have a garage sale. And nothing there seems too expensive.

I love this little store! I have taken my toddler here for his first pairs of shoes; the owner helped me find and try on shoes with my son, which isn’t an easy task with a little. I have also bought several rounds of clothes here; they are in good shape and affordably priced. I’ve often been able to get things using a coupon from Square or by shopping on Baby Thursdays. The owner has also played with my son with the in-store toys while I shop, which is so appreciated with a kid on the move! I’ll definitely continue to shop at 2 Shy Kids as my son grows since it’s a very manageably-sized store and has clothes, shoes, and toys at reasonable prices.

Having had access to amazing second hand stores before we relocated to Lawrence, I was looking forward to stopping by this store. I wound up heavily disappointed in their selection and their prices. The store is clean but dark. Its organized weirdly and can be hard to find items. Asking for help is difficult because no one can be seen. Ive stopped in a handful of times and have walked out with nothing. Ill probably check in occasionally but this is not a store I can rely on for purchasing kids clothes regularly.

Owner and workers are super kind. You can really find some good bargains. Return on clothes you sell is pretty low. So if youre in the mind set to get rid of things, it is super convenient. If youre looking to make money, probably not the best way.

Went in the store and purchased a few things. The girl working couldnt be bothered to say anything to anyone coming into the store and ignored people clearly wanting her help. Decided to purchase a swing and another large item. Clearly pregnant and with a 4 year old with me, the girl didnt even offer to hold the door open or help me out with the two large items. Get home with the swing and it doesnt work at all. I go back within hours of purchasing it and am told that I will not be refunded the $80 I spent and only given store credit. The girl said she would try to contact the owner, she made no attempt too while I was standing there missing my own baby shower to try to deal with this. I was told someone would contact me by the end of the day, never received a phone call. I will never shop here or recommend someone to shop here again. I would have hoped the owner would try to make things right instead of screwing over a once loyal customer.

Love this place! Clean and organized neatly. In style clothes for kids are always available. I like finding extras that grandparents need, such as strollers, pack and plays, baby carriers, play mats, and toys.

I go here all the time. I can always find something for my kids at a discount. Lots of cute clothes and they even have maternity clothes for moms!

Brooke is always super helpful about locating something if I cant find it! Its usually right in front of my face though! 😂

Dropped off two large bags of high quality baby and childrens clothes to sell, in various sizes. Some of it never even worn. Everything was freshly laundered and folded. Took 3 weeks before they got back to me, despite a few calls to the store. In the end they took only TWO items and wanted to give me $2.00 for it. I said Forget it, Ill just take my bags back and try another place. Girl with my things shrugged and said shed already taken the items out and ticketed them so she couldnt give them back, and started to hand me two dollars. Rude, unprofessional, and most of the selection in store was shoddy anyway. Ill take my business to Kansas City.

Not very helpful staff. They are friendly, but not helpful. Had boxes of clothes and no offers of help. 9 dollars for a box of nice items. I knew they wouldnt offer that much but I was shocked. Prices of some things are comparable to Wal-Mart and target. You do get good deals on designer brand names that are hard to find in town. Good for some clothes shopping, but not for resale.

I love it here! Such low, great prices for items in great used condition, and sometimes not even used!

Love this store. Quality used kids clothes, shoes, coats, toys, books, strollers. If kids use it or wear chances are 2 Shy Kids has it.

I brought in a laundry basket full of freshly washed clothes including a brand new dress new with tags and the employee picked through it and I only got $8, she didnt even take the brand new dress. I wont be going back.

A disappointment if youre looking to shift some high quality kids clothing. Dropped a bundle by for item review and called to collect remaining items. Paid next to nothing (< $10) assuming that only 1-2 items were taken. Unfortunately, got home to realize that several of the best items were purchased and we were poorly reimbursed (i.e. ripped off).
