The best and friendliest comic book store in existence. This stoe is fantastic! If you are looking for a particular comic from Golden age to present this is the place to go. If its not in stock but its available at all they can most likely get it. Ive never been disappointed and usually pleasantly surprised at the customer service at Galactic Quest Comics. The owner Kyle is incredibly knowledgeable about the comics industry and comics history. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Not your typical store for geeks only. If you love comics, cards, and figures this IS the place to go.

Very tidy shop with lots of variety, wide assortment of MTG, Gundam, Pop and other collectables... The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful.

I live equidistant between two comic shops and there is a number of reasons that GQ is my choice for my home shop. Excellent customer service, they help create a community atmosphere where you come in as much for the people as you do the comics. They also do a great job at knowing their customer base and always have an excellent inventory from comics, manga, games, kids, and figures. They do a great job at recommending new titles they know their customers will love because they takes the time to get to know them. Whether I come in with friends or with my children its always a great experience.

Anna was amazing she helped my shy child look for comics and give her suggestions for new one to read. Good selection of new and old comics.

Galactic Quest is a great place to pick up comics. I recently transitioned from a different comic book store and they made it effortlessly. Every Tuesday and Wednesday I pick up my comic from Ana who is always courteous and knowledgeable. Thanks Ana for the great customer service

Everyone is always friendly and they have a good selection of board games comics and collectible cards. When I can spare the time this is a must-stop for me.

Ive been going here for almost Ten years since I was a kid, they have a wide variety of books from Marvel and DC while also selling a variety of books including some indie comics for all various and diverse audiences. Likewise the staff is nice and engaging and feel the need to help the customers. While at the same time they sell various cards, posters, and figurines while also having a plethora of manga for anime fans. This is the place to go to embrace your inner nerd.

Very rude when I ask simple questions and argue with me about prices about some items because I said that was over priced. Then gets to checking on ebay for prices and proving my point about there prices being overpriced and them saying we are going market price. Also had no knowledge about anything and had to call boss for simple questions. I wouldnt recommend for buying any tcg card games there

The Staff here were very professional and friendly and put me on the phone with Kyle and he was more than helpful. He took his time speaking with me and gave me some excellent clear answers and great suggestions. Initially my journey into Astro-physics was a plethora of wild emotions ranging from intrigue to outright fear. I didn’t back down, and pursued my curiosity. Thanks to this I now have an overall greater understanding of the universe that I never thought possible. I know look forward to pursuing hobbies ranging from bird calls to studying surrealist painters. Anyways, this store is amazing, great service, and great products!

Best place to buy your comic books, board games, or to meet others and sit down for a great gaming session in the Southeast! We just moved back to the area and we are so glad to have Galactic Quest! We couldnt find an adequate replacement while we lived in Florida.

I didnt know I needed to start reading comics until I first visited this place. Now Im hooked reading Conan which awesomely enough they have a 50% off bin towards the back that usually has them. They seem to have the best selection of comic books Ive ever seen.

Spent about an hour sifting through magic cards to build a collection to play with my kids (returning player). Staff was super nice and helped point me to the cards I was looking for. The lady(didnt get a name) was very nice and gave me a fair deal for a couple hundred commons, and threw in some goodies. Would definitely like to return for Friday night magic or something like that. Support this great local games and comics store!

I have watched it grow and evolve and stand the test of time in a very difficult niche. Anything I ever needed, if it wasnt there and could be obtained, it was brought in for me. They are eager to engage with our kids and its a great place to foster a love of reading.Plus, weve gotten to try out many board games and card games. Weve gotten great recommendations and have bought many board games from them after playing their demos for an hour or so. We are always happy to purchase from them before we look online. The employee looked from behind the counter and said something like Come on in, its a comic book store. You can touch everything!Priceless! I couldnt see his face from where I was standing, but I bet that kid was beaming!I clearly see why Sheldon and the guys hang out in the comic bookstore. It is such an engaging environment because everywhere you look, there is something interesting. There are tons of books, cool (You wont see these at Target), games and even action figures. We were just overwhelmed and didnt know where to look first. During this visit, we just did a cursory view in an effort to try and get the lay of the land.We will definitely come back later when we are able to spend more time exploring the inventory and can actually purchase something. These are the types of really cool businesses that you really want to support because they are rare and hold great memories for those who grew up with these stores as part of their neighborhood landscape.This store was very clean and super organized with staff ready to assist as needed.

Great place be aware, just a safety risk. Lawrenceville makes alot of money off of you causing accidents because you cant see when you reverse from parking on the street its the main way alot of people get their salaries, downtown lawrenceville. Its like delivering mail and getting bit by a dog. Go to a store you love and get tickets and risk your safety each time you go. Should be illegal. Ive seen women get ran over, actually seen it happen, in downtown lawrenceville. Last time I was there right when i was finally about to reverse a big suv parked next to me and blocked my every sight. From the love of his soul he noticed quickly I could not at all get out and helped. If it wasnt for him id have to jump out and look and jump in my car and take off. This is not right! Ive never had more of an issue reversing from anywhere else. No issues using the parking deck but its a walk and time you have to factor in.

This was our first visit my daughter ended up getting a Loki bobblehead. She wanted to check out some of the comics, but she enjoyed her visit, and picked out a couple of things. The staff was friendly, they didnt smother you while you shop, they gave you space, although a little bit more interaction would have been playing :) overall it was a nice experience.

Im new to the comic book scene. I Googled several places to go and stopped in this one first because its close to my house. I took my 2 sons on a busy Saturday morning, and as soon as we walked through the door we were enthusiastically greeted and asked if we could be helped. I explained were new to comics but interested and the store owner who was working that morning took almost an hour to show us around the store and answer many different questions. Good selection arranged by publisher, bagged and boarded. Subsequent visits have yielded the same type results with courteous and helpful service. If youre close to this store and interested in Comics/Gaming you should stop by.
