Bought 5000 square feet of sod. In the process of re-seeding about 500 square feet because the sod was cut so thin apparently there were no roots left. Ill go somewhere else next time.** After this review I was contacted by Scott within two hours and he insisted on making it right. He got me a new pallet of sod in a few days and I was able to fix my dead areas. I really appreciated the help and quick resolution. Great work and caring from Super Sod. -Thanks

I needed help figuring out the proper spreader setting for applying pre-emergent (the product application information was difficult to understand). I asked for help on Super Sod of Gwinnetts website and Mariela Estradas helpful response was received almost instantaneously. I now have spreader setting information for a number of Super-Sods fertilizer products in my landscaping file, thanks to Mariela.

Michelle Johnson is the kind of person I want working in customer service. When I called about ordering some Super Sod bags she and I could not get the system to work for me. We hung up and I was just going to visit my location and make my purchase. About 5 minutes later Michelle called and said she had the solution to get my order processed. She was concerned enough to talk with her coworkers and solve my problem. It isn’t often that Customerservice actually cares about the customer. In this case I was amazed that she called back and we completed the order.

Super bad experience, my landscaper tell me about super sod and i decide to buy a pallet of zoysia zeon, half of the pallet was good and half of the pallet really really bad, i pay 399.00 for a pallet super bad experience I don’t recommend this company… better option in the market!!

Have been buying Supersod products since last year and have been very pleased. (Zeon sod, Zenith seed, Soil 3 compost). All my interactions with Supersod have been great (online ordering, phone orders and questions and delivery).Was having some issues with a lot of rain (Fungus, leveling and weed)- so got on the Supersod chat. Sherica Rushing was very helpful and gave some good advice on products to apply and the timing to do it. Thanks Sherica and Supersod for your help.The great service continues- today I had a quick question about application of fungicide and insecticide and Kim King helped me with her expert advice. My husband and I were introduced to Super Sod last year. We got a piece of Bermuda to fill in a spot where we dug a tree up. It took off beautifully and looked better than any of the rest of our sod! Scott has been a great help and is very knowledgeable on the products, lawns, and even the pesky weeds. We got some preemergent a couple of weeks ago and I can’t wait to see the results!

Original review and follow-up……..Had 9 pallets delivered last week, 6/16/21. The actual scheduled time was 6/15/21, but they were a no show. On the 16th, the pallets were unloaded. Each pallet that was unloaded was yellow and dry as a bone. After unloading, my contractor began putting the sod down. Each pallet was void of water and yellow to the point of being beyond help. Many edges were already brown and dead. I stated that this grass looks terrible, but was assured it would be fine.Well, the finished product looks like my grass has mange. No one roll has all green grass as one would expect from NEW sod. Many of the ends of the rolls are dead. Daily watering has been spot on.If you’re delivered sod pallets that are not deep green and has been watered, do not allow them to unloaded it. Stop delivery.My sod was Tif-Tuf. I have had on other homes Zoysia and Bermuda, but have not experienced this poor example of grass that a layman would pay 270..0 0 a pallet or contractors price of 200 - 215.I am hoping this grass will recover, in time…. The dead ends on the other hand will most likely need to be replaced.Tried to upload pics but was not given that option.******************* Follow-Up *********************Was contracted by Mike, Atlanta General Mgr, who scheduled a meet today (6/25/21). Quick contact time! We both walked the yard. He explained that tif-tuf is very resilient and forgiving grass. He assured me it will recover. I admit I do see some green sprigs on the brown sections. He expressed his assurance that the grass will recover and look as green as the rest of the sod. He assisted with some efforts to ensure my success with products for the recovery, even though he said it was not needed. He wanted me to be successful with my new grass. He even said he or Scott would come by in the next few weeks to monitor the progress and assist if needed.The follow up and assurances from Super Sod is a refreshing change from the dire lack of customer service that I have experienced from most service companies. As I’m sure the rest of you have. For their commitment to success in assuring customer satisfaction, I give them gold stars. With their assistance I think I will be fine. If not, I’ll be back.

Great experience! I purchased about 2 ½ pallets total of sod and 90% of my sod rooted EXTREMELY well and looks aaamazing! However, my curb or beauty strip not so much.. I returned to Super Sod expressing my concerns and learned that I probbbbably didn’t give it as much WATER as I should have considering the new sod is very close to the CONCRETE sidewalk which generates a lot more heat and will fry the sod if not “soaked” with water. Scott was very informative and empathized with my concerns and was kind enough to handle this situation in a manner in which I am extremely pleased and will return for my next project. The online ordering and curbside pickup options were great during this time of social distancing. The order went very smoothly, and they loaded the soil bags right into my car. It was much more convenient than going to a gardening center where I would have had to go into the store and then load the bags myself. I will order again soon!

I have been buying sod for years now from Super Sod. They have always been very helpful over the years to get me the sod I need when I need it. That are a top notch sod supplier.

I love super sod. I have used them for several years and have experienced nothing but professionalism and eagerness to please. I had a problem with my sod taking root this past spring. Scott came out and gave me advise on how to get the sod to root and grow. I now have a yard that looks like it was made for a golf course. I would recommend them time and time again.

I called today, 5/13/2020 at 12:06 PM.The woman who answered the phone, I believe Jennifer, was unpleasant and not welcoming at all. We are looking for sod and found them on a Google search. I asked was I able to come in today and there was a hesitation in her voice, and she asked was I buying grass. Told her we’re thinking about it. Hesitation again from her..... then I said: according to your website you offer side by side displays of the sod. Am I still able to do that? ..... It felt like I was pulling teeth to get information and proper customer service. We will come by and check out what they have and I hope the customer Service is way better in person than phone. Because this first impression is a complete turn off! Bad for business. One star for first impression.

A friend of mine who is a master gardener suggested super-Sod to me, I bought dirt last fall. My fall/winter vegetables were superb. I will buy more for my summer planting.

Delivery came earlier than their posted delivery times. Quality was great. TifTuf Bermuda was well-established and very green. Rolls were uniform and thick with a good layer of soil. No weeds or dead spots. After week of being in the hottest recorded GA weather for the month, it’s looking terrific with only a couple spots that may need replacing due to my own sprinkler system failure. Picking up more this weekend. Price is best I could find and quality is outstanding. Customer service up to purchase time was great also.

Lindsey Coker at Super Sod Lawrenceville guided me with the correct Bermuda sod for my partial sun location. The side I put down now looks like carpet. I had my doubts but you should always leave the decisions up to those who know........Lindsey is definitely one who knows! Thanks a ton!

Great prices and customer service. Installed zeon zoysia grass myself several yrs ago. Grass looks great and is still thriving in heavily shaded areas.

The best place in the world for grass

I bought 10 pallets of TifTuf Bermuda two weeks ago, and it was installed by Mark Turner Grading, who SuperSod recommended. MTG did a great job. The sod, on the other hand, was of uneven freshness. About 20% was fresh and green, the rest varied from middling to brown and dry. All the sod is showing some response now, but it will be months before some of the dead ends fill in.Update: After about four weeks, the sod is looking much better, and about 95% filled in. Supersod came out and checked it, and offered to repair the areas not greened up.

I bought grass for this company and they brought me a very yellow grass and a lot of weed so I recommend not to lose money with this company

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I contacted them on May 30, inquiring about a cost for sod and installation, and was told Carlos would be at our home at 9:00 AM on June 6, one week later. After waiting over an hour, my wife called Super- Sod and spoke to the receptionist. The receptionist was very rude and condescending, telling my wife that her paperwork showed a different time. The representative called later and said it was his error, and would arrive in 45 minutes. Also, be aware that you must pay Super Sod $50.00 for a soil test, before they will quote anything. I told the representative that we needed the job completed by end of June, and after several texts from me, was informed that work couldn’t be done until July 9, some 6 weeks after my initial contact with them. This business has no sense of urgency, as far as getting the job done in a timely and efficient manner, and as far as customer service, this is a glaring example of customer no-service. Cannot recommend Super-Sod of Gwinnett.

I am the owner of Accelerated Landscaping and I ordered a pallet of sod from them . They were very helpful and quick and answered all my questions. The quality of the Bermuda was excellent. They also have pallets of peat moss organic soil amendment that works very well in a acheiving good results. They also carry certified seed. I will continue to do business with them. I recently used Super sod to come run boundary and guide wires for my Automower. Not only were they good, but they took the time to stop and explain the reason they were doing each thing, and how I could change it in the future if needed. These guys were very quick, but also very professional! I also plan on using them in the future for stone work for an outdoor fireplace. Will be working with again, and they do much more than Sod!

Great group of people. Experts on the Husqvarna automower. I just had them out to find 2 breaks and re-run about 1000 ft of cable and they were quick and courteous. I attempted to find the breaks myself for a few days without luck and they found them within an hour.

Stopped by to check out options for patching dead spots in grass from herbicide spill, had heard that they sold 2 x 5 rolls of sod. They were a little lacking in Technical expertise unless I was interested and resoddng my entire lawn. The pricing was very competitive but the quality of the sod they had available that I could see was lacklustre, the pieces I saw looked dry or stressed.

I ordered stone on Friday after 3 o’clock it was delivered Saturday morning by nine they did an excellent job of getting a big boulder through a narrow passageway I am totally pleased and will recommend this company to anyone for stone grass anything to do with the yard

The quality of the SOD delivered was half dead and dry. Even the delivery driver apologized when dropping off the pallets. They sold me the “shade tolerable” Bermuda blend. Both pallets delivered died in less than 2 weeks. I followed all installation recommendations according to their website. Also I’ve installed sod on 7 other occasions with other companies and have never had an issue.FYI Homedepot will guarantee all SOD, and the quality is a lot better.

This business has their act together. Their employees are very knowledgeable about products. I bought Tifblair Centepede seed and a Big Yellow Bag of soil 3 and followed their directions and couldnt be happier with the results. I had questions while I was preparing the soil and planting the seeds, called them on the phone and they always knew the answer. Its obvious that they know grass. There grass seed is superior to that of the brand names I have used in the past. If you do what they say, watch the videos they made and read the information they have, you will have the same success that I did. Centepede is particularly difficult to grow from seeds as I know because I tried it once before, - - before I discovered Super-Sod. I have to admit I was sceptical about the Big Yellow Bag of soil but after using it Im glad I got it.

I stopped in on my way home from work and met with the owner, who seemed like a really nice and knowledgeable guy. He gave me pricing and told me to order two days in advance. I just tried to do that and the customer service on the phone transferred me to a different person in the middle of my sentence and then when I called back a few times later I was repeatedly transferred to someones voicemail, they wont return emails... I really tried to give them my money in exchange for sod but apparently a simple transaction was too complicated for their customer service or I wasnt being given the time of day because I was only ordering five pallets instead of a repeat landscaper customer. I really needed to get my sod order in and now Ill have to go with someone more expensive like home depot. What a shame!UPDATE: Owner followed-up after hours and offered to take order directly. Updating review because I understand good help is hard to come by.
