I am writing this review as a concerned citizen mainly for the safety of motorists in the Lawton-Ft. Sill region. The “technicians” employed by this establishment are incompetent to perform work on a motor vehicle. I first brought my truck in for a repair of a flat tire. They replaced the tire and on my commute home I lost all function of my brakes almost crashing the truck into a school bus full of children. I had it towed back to shidas and they repaired the brake line they had some how damaged. A couple days ago I had another flat tire and brought the truck back to them. They once again replaced the tire and sent me on my way. Only this time after about 40 miles the wheel flew off the vehicle into oncoming traffic. I once again had the vehicle towed back to them. They fixed the damages caused by the incident and now my radio does not work.

Great experience! Antonio was very helpful. Not sure the name of the technician who actually worked on my vehicle. But he was professional and explained thoroughly what the issue was. I will definitely be returning for any other car issues that come up.

I had bought 4 brand new tires from them. They didnt last 7months. When call d them about it the warranty they told me that I had to go through the manufacturer. I had to go somewhere else and replace all four of them . Two of them went out almost at the same time. Split halfway around and the other two had gone out earlier. All of them were split almost halfway around. I found out that they were retreads? I believe that is what I was.told. now brakes that is the place to go. On their brakes they have a lifetime warranty and they take care of that one. I also rent a storage unit from them and their prices are pretty reasonable.

I brought my truck in almost 2 weeks ago for oil leaks. They completed everything I asked of them and Antonio kept me informed of anything that came up during the repairs. On the last day at the shop, my new part came in and Jimmy wasted no time getting the truck put back together, and running again. They worked with me in a very timely manner and this was one of the best experiences I have had from any shop.

New in town and didnt know where else to go for a sporadic vehicle crisis-- started looking up places and Midas was able to take me in for a diagnosis day of! These folks are personable, professional, and good at what they do! They went up and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was fixed and also conducted preventative maintenance as well. Thank you so much! So glad to have my car back in great condition! Definitely recommend these guys!

Good guys here. They will give you an honest price and they arent trying to get rich off you. I had a quote from a dealership for $900 and these guys did the job for $500.

PCSd here and needed my AC repaired. They told me that I was going to have to have them hook it up to the machine that would tell them where it was leaking. Thats fair. They said the leak was identified at the condenser and 900 dollars later my AC was working. For a week that is. Took it back in there and they said theyd have to hook it back up and came back saying the leak was the compressor and offered to fix it for 1,100. No thank you. The compressor leak should have been identified with the first test. Sick to my stomach on how I just got ripped off.

Was quoted $129.99 per tire for 2 tires. When I get there they tried charging me $80 more per tire . They would not honor their quotes. Will never return.

Ive had to use them twice in the last year and both times they were great and their work has never given me problems. First time was something with the spark plug connections and this time was the coolant reserve. Very Military friendly.

I went to get all of my brake pads and rotors changed, I paid for all the new parts and they just skipped the rear left brakes, completely, left my naked brake pad and pitted rotor on it, discovered 2 months later when driving on my lunch break at work when my wheel completely locked up, a very nice man stopped and helped me take my brake pad off so I could drive very carefully to get it fixed right. Do not give them your money.

The customer service and work was top notch. There was a little hiccup with this service run but we got through it together and in a timely manner. Al, Leland and Magic Mike were very professional and knowledgeable. This is where everybody should go to service their vehicles.

As I was driving in for a brake inspection, I was greeted by a gentlemen who was on medication and wasnt organized about his business. So they took my keys put the vehicle in the shop and inspected my brakes. But as I was going to change my brakes I noticed that the wheel hub was cross threaded to the point in where it broke off and I tried calling them, but they deny that it was cross threaded. I STORNGLY wouldnt recommend your vehicle to be taken for any repair.

Let me start out by saying the environment of this shop is great. From the techs to the service advisors very good in customer service. Besides that the owner of the shop Steve Powers is not very good in managing the shop. Hes never there to make sure books are done. Hes never there to make sure payroll is done or on time. Employees constantly not getting paid on time. Its not fair to the employees. Also he doesnt pay his employees the hours they work for a pay period especially overtime. I filled out an application for Service Manager back in January. I never got the title nor the pay that me and Steven Powers discuss. Also not to mentioned I got furloughed for speaking the truth and my mind. In this photo here Im telling you this is false job advertising. If you do fill out this application I wish you good luck. Great shop to get your vehicle needs for your satisfaction. Terrible franchise to work for.

The Differential Breather line was damaged on my Jeep TJ so I stopped in and was able to get it replaced quickly. However, the next morning while checking my fluids found that it hadnt been adequately secured and had fallen again, luckily no damage. When I checked mounting location the securing strap was so loose there was no tension to hold it in, also it was now about 8 shorter than the original. Overall, adequate repair, but not quality repair.

This place was great! I really only chose to go here bc I had a $20 off coupon for my synthetic oil change. Everyone in there was so informative, personable, and kind. I will definitely be going back there for any services my car will need in the future. Al, Greg, and Joshua were amazing!

I came in to get a new muffler on my truck. Had to haggle to get their quoted price honored. They dont give a work order to be signed before the work is started. So if I hadnt asked, the cost would have been doubled. It seems this manager could use some training and help. Every customer in the place was either angry or confused. And the wait was very long. I had to stand at the counter for 30 minutes just to pay. Jimmy was very unprofessional. Ill just hit another exhaust shop if I need repairs.

Great Staff, easy to work with. Some times they are busy and might take a bit to get to your vehicle. But when you walk in someone will greet you and let you know its a little packed.I always call ahead of my visit see if its super busy or not.

Friendly and quick.

Brought in my escape that has been sitting since I got it and they put in new brake drums/pads and changed the oil. I took the long way home and the escape started overheating and leaking coolant.I told them and they took it in the next day and fixed that problem too. Apparently myself or the previous mechanic(not midas) left a coolant hose detached and failed to re-attach it. Midas also fixed my botched battery cable while they were at it. The second trip was at no charge to me, which was very appreciated. It was a very easy fix that they could have charged me on, but did not. Very cool.Im not saying to expect handouts from them, businesses need money for labor, but they helped me out for sure.

A little pricey and very unorganized

I have a storage unit there. They have had some problems with break ins and someone cut the lock off my unit. They are doing everything they can to fix the problem like new flood lights security cameras and fixing the fences around the units. They keep the gates locked now and check your Id and make sure you do have a unit there before they go with you to unlock the gates. Its getting better.

I have nothing but great things to say . the manager was nice and got me and my husband out in no time. i highly recommend this establishment .

The service was awsome and they took very good care of my car. The even spotted a mistake made from a previous oil change and fixed it with no extra cost to me. I even would recommend anyone to use them, especially for anything regarding the brakes.

Very disappointed! I ordered new rotors and waited in the lobby for them to “be delivered.” After over an hour some guy brings some rotors wrapped in plastic meanwhile the parts were rusted. I asked the guy at the front desk “are those new parts and if so why are they rusted?” He said “oh they are new they just were a little exposed to weather because of the storage but they are new.” Turns out they lied. Not only did the put old parts on my vehicle but they also did not lube the pins that are associated with the rotors and caused them to warp! Do not recommend this shop at ALL!

I just take my wifes care there. I do all my work on my truck myself. That being said, theyve been really helpful with her car. I see a lot of bad reviews here. The reason they dont get to your car on any given day or on time is because they have a problem with mechanics. Sometimes they dont have enough because of rotating them for lunch or what not. They were pretty accurate in telling me to come back in 2 hours one day cause they didnt have the staff there. I came back a little early and they got to it faster than 2 hours. Theyre usually the cheapest around for simple things like oil changes. If you want to go spend 40 dollars for an oil change or more, go ahead and go anywhere else. If you really got a problem with waiting, go change your oil yourself. It takes 15 minutes...

Id recommend this place to all my friends. Very professional and family-owned establishment. They are up front and direct about any services you require. The technicians working here are clearly adept and skilled at their job and know what they are doing. You will be satisfied that your vehicle is taken care of properly if you come here.

Greatest oil change experience ever. I frantically arrived with only an hour to spare and desperately needing an oil change. The guys at the front were so quick and efficient and the guys in the back took my car back right away. Apparently they didn’t have the filter they needed for my car in stock but they got it delivered in the time I was waiting. I waited 45 mins and my car was ready to drive off. The guys were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Above all, they understood I had an appt in an hour and were able to make the oil change a reality that fast. Definitely recommend this place! Awesome customer service and super fast service. Thank you John, Jon and Shawn!

Three bolts on the muffler broke on the intermediate pipe and was told by the dealer that I had to buy a new intermediate pipe to just get the bolts so I went to Midas and asked them if they could fix it and they said we can have it done in 30 minutes and would only cost $40-$50. Ended up spending $46 and have my truck up and running again. Midas did a great job with their service and speed.

Steve went above and beyond to help myself and my family today when we had a simple oil change turn into an unexpected repair. He was wonderful at explaining what the problem was and the best way to handle it. Just awesome service!

The a.c. in my car died so we decided to bring it to the Midas on Ft Sill Blvd because weve had a few oil changes there and the customer service seemed good. They charged me $200 for a diagnostic service even though their advertised price is $125. It took them 4 hours total to compete. They quoted the full repair as being $1,350 for a new compressor and a new relay. I asked for a printout of the quote so I could think about it because thats a lot of money. When I brought it home my husband noticed that theyd added another supposedly $125 a.c. diagnostic to the quote, which seemed very fishy to us, so we decided to get a second opinion. I took my car to the dealership in OKC to get a diagnostic from them. Their diagnostic only took 45 minutes, and not only did they say that my compressor is fine besides needing a new clutch and coil, but my relay had been broken by the mechanic at Midas when he tried to remove it (they even put that in their report)! Their quote for the repairs was obviously hundreds less than what Midas quoted me. Its outrageous that not only did Midas try to sell me on services and parts that I didnt need, but they tried to charge me to fix a part on my car that they broke! Needless to say that not only will I never be bringing my car back to them, but I will be warning people against bringing their vehicles to them in the future.

I was a long time customer at Goodyear, but found out they were telling me things about my vehicle that weren’t true. Midas of Lawton will treat you right!!! Look for my review on the Dodge dealership in Lawton if you want the complete backstory, but Midas saved me a lot of time and money. After receiving absolutely NO answers, help, or assistance from the dealership after a day of waiting, I called Midas. I told them where I thought the problem was, and they said it should take them about an hour to find the problem and possibly fix it (23 hours and 7 days less time than the Dodge dealership quoted me). I took it in the next day and they had it in, diagnosed, and fixed within 2 hours. The valves they replaced for the AC repair were even covered by the diagnosis and systems check, so the bill was cheaper than I expected. I will not be going anywhere else for car service while were stationed here. Awesome work!

Custom muffler shop that wont do any custom muffler work. They have prices and parts but i guess just no one competent working there.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Worked on my Subaru STI which had to stay in the shop overnight. They kept me well informed and up to date on the progress they were making and gave me a great deal. Highly recommend to others for great, well priced and timely service.

Called ahead they told me there was no wait and come right in. Arrived 15 minutes later he told me 30 minutes. An hour later they still hasnt touched my car. When I asked he said they probably wouldnt get to me today. Dont expect much at this location

Had brake work done on a 98 Nissan Frontier. Work took about 3 hours and the truck has a much better ride.

Take note that the low reviews for this shop are all over 5 years old. They found my problem in 10 minutes and gave me practical money saving advice and ended up telling me the issue is not worth being fixed.A shop telling me that they dont want my money because the work isnt pertinent enough for me to give them money? Unreal. Good honest folks.

They get the job done. They do explain whats wrong with your vehicle in detail. But with every mechanic shop they all want to tack on rediculous fees like labor fees and use of equipment fees. (To me thats dumb. Im paying you extra just to do your job) Dont expect to pay little for anything at Midas.

Well I had a blowout on Rogers Lane right before the Ft Sill Blvd exit. Being that my car is a Mazda I knew it was about to be a bad day. Fortunately, I knew Midas was close by. When I got the bad news...4 bald tires I could just cry bc I know tires for my car are very expensive. Not only did they get me right in, they found the cheapest prices Ive ever seen for my tires! Thank-you all so much...a resounding Bravo Zulu from a grateful Navy vet!

I Will never be back took my perfectly great working Jeep in an the next day problems is still there an now something else or another issue popped up (very next morning) nothing was wrong with my truck before the put they hands on it the only reason I’m putting a star is so I can comment what horrible techs they have there lesson learned I’ll never be back ever again don’t wait your time or your money now I gotta go back so they can fix what they broke I have two small kids if you have small children I wouldn’t trust him in my opinion Walmart is better or the mechanic round the way I know ( not saying I use either) just saying don’t trust em .... never again

They broke my car wile putting in new brakes

Maybe it was bad luck, but I waited 3.5 hours for my front brakes and back rotors to be replaced, that ended up costing over $300. A few days later, my back tire started to smoke, so I brought my car to a different auto repair shop. They said my breaks and rotors were still in very bad shape, and that I was jipped. Would not recommend.

Trust these guys. They give good advice and do not fleece you for things you dont need.
