I came to Medicine Park, which is a bit out of the way for me, to see this tattoo shop. Unfortunately, I was paired with the owners son, Dillon, who seemed like he didnt want to be there. I came prepared with a design I made, digitally, so it would easier for the artist. Right off the bat, the artist made it clear he did not want to do anything that day or have anything to do with anybody. He barely spoke, didnt seem interested, and was extremely unpleasant to be around.My design was a combination of straight, solid lines, about 4mm thick, and an inch of pattern. Its been almost a month now, I gave it a chance to properly heal, and it looks terrible. Not only can you see the areas where he was too lazy to properly fill in, but its very patchy where he decided to fill in areas and areas where he just glossed over. There was an area where to simple lines had to connect, and you can clearly see that he just forgot about filling in an area. Im extremely unhappy with the money I paid and time I wasted here.Dillon doesnt deserve to take on the very significant process of tattooing. He wanted to rush home instead, because his family called to say dinner was ready at home. Towards the end of the session, he had 3 black circles to fill in but just started to clean up and put away his supplies. I had to remind him that the 3 circles had to be filled, to which he responds oh yea, and hastily scribbles in some shading. Now I am out $300+ and have some pretty terrible quality work to remind myself to only go to reputable artists.Shame on you for putting permanent work on people, when you are so uninterested and severely lacking artistic skill and tact.

Went and got pierced here today and I am very satisfied with my experience, they were kind, professional, and timely. The piercings were virtually painless and perfectly positioned. Good prices for quality work. Very clean enviornment and double sanitized the rings I brought. Love the atmosphere and the interior design is beautiful. 10/10 will recommend and will visit again in the future.

This was a spontaneous trip for me, walking in was automatically nothing but good vibes. They had great jams goin in a modern VERY CLEAN environment. My artist was very dedicated to my cause. He did a an excellent job from the idea- to the ipad-To STICKIN IT PERMANENT! Very VERY happy with the whole process! Thank you!

James did an AMAZING job covering up the worlds most hideous abomination of a tattoo on my hip. He was professional, polite, funny, and best of all- a fantastic artist. I waited 20 years to find someone I trust enough to cover this. Im so glad I gave him my business. Ill definitely be back.

I had Jeremy - Awesome guy! The shop is in a absolute wonderful location. The atmosphere is like a vacation away from Lawton itself. The staff are awesome and treat you like family. Depending what you are looking to get done for art they have a diverse staff from different backgrounds that can meet your needs. They are honest about what they can do. Most importantly they follow sanitary requirements. Highly recommend. Went there one time and its officially the only place I would go to from here on out.

I’ve been inside, I’ve called, I’ve emailed I have tried everything that I human possibly can to get an appointment and it’s like I’m a ghost! I don’t exists so I’ll take my money elsewhere

My tattoo artist, Matt, had pretty much free reign to put together a tattoo with 3 limited details. The end result was gorgeous. And also big. Despite how large it ended up being the tattoo took 2 1/2 hours or so, and cost me $300. Which I personally think is a great deal. I was extremely satisfied with my tattoo, and intend on going to do the rest of my tattoos here.

From the decor to the artist. This establishment is grade A! Mike did my Egyptian piece on my thigh about a month ago and captured everything i wanted. Very reasonable Pricing for the experience you receive. Just remember cheap tattoos aren’t good and good tattoos aren’t cheap! You get what you pay for. Everything in the studio is high tech and updated. Everything I wanted, even tiny little details mike was able to produce and give me what I wanted and still put his artistic twist on it. His appointments are a little far out there but he’s worth the wait! After I healed up I noticed there were a few spots that I was not too happy with and mike got me an immediate appointment even with his completely booked schedule and touched up the areas today. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Would highly recommend Mike and Elite ink!

If youre looking to get any piercings, Ashley will take good care of you. I got my piercings here and she was very professional. The while process was very quick and after some paper work you are good to go. Any questions you have she will answer them and the rest of the employees there are also nice and talented. The shop has nice decorations and its kept clean at all times.

I just got a very heartfelt memorial tattoo dedicated to my brother and he really made it come to life even more than I could imagine. I am VERY happy with my tattoo. Ashley is a super artist. There were 5 of us getting a tat as a tribute to our father. We showed her a photo and then each of us changed it up in some small way. She listened to us and then gave each of us our own unique tat! The shop was very clean, it took a very reasonable amount of time and the atmosphere was comfortably friendly. Elite skin art is by far the best tattoo shop to go to in Lawton, OK. I was able to complete my entire chest by Jeremy in six weeks. Jeremy covered up an old tattoo flawlessly and did an outstanding job on the entire piece. After the tattoo was completely healed I went back for small touch ups and he took care of me right on the spot. Elite skin art recently moved to a new shop on Cache road and it is fantastic!! The location, vibe, and overall feeling of the new shop is great. As soon as I walked in to schedule my first session, I was greeted like part of the family and immeidiatly attended to. I highly recommend this tattoo shop. The shop plays great music, extremely clean, and the ambiance is great.

The artist I went to, his name is Jeremy. Really great artwork. I got my first tattoo there and he walked me through the whole thing. I didn’t have anyone there so he kept talking to me and keeping my mind of the pain. Really great work as well ! I love my tattoo! It’s exactly how I wanted it. Told Mike what I had in mind, but never could have imagined the end results. He did my lower leg/sock, pirate theme, and it is way better than what I had pictured in my head. His new shop looks like something you would see on television. Cleanest tattoo place Ive ever stepped foot in and my 5-6hr session flew by. You can get a tattoo anywhere, but if you want some art... GO TO ELITE!!!

Told James what i wanted, told him to put his own twist on it, and the result was amazing. Worth every penny and then some. They even had old school 90s rap playing the ENTIRE time. Very chill place and the artists know what they are doing...

Aside from ranting about the GORGEOUS shop, the entire staff are welcoming, professional, and amazing. Mike sat and discussed my idea for finishing my sleeve and used an iPad to photoshop our ideas onto my arm so I could actually see what the product would be. The customer service was phenomenal. When we sat down to begin, Mike worked fast with very clean lines. I have a good chunk of my body tattooed and the one I got today at Elite, is hands down, my best and favorite. I love my tattoo and cant wait for the next session!

I don’t usually write these but For a place like this i will, Terrible customer service basically they’ll get to you when they get to you. They have no sense of urgency for the customers you have to work around their time even though you are the client, and if they mess up on a timeline for your appointment It’s somehow your fault. The Artist by the name of Ashley is especially terrible, and has poor Communication skills with her clients. Furthermore she is also childish and unprofessional in front of customers, and it feels like they just want the money and don’t really care how the whole Customer experience was. i wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this shop.

I scheduled an appointment for a tattoo and showed up about 15 minutes early. When I got there the tattoo artist said oh Im sorry, I didnt realize you were on a time constraint, I scheduled someone else at the exact same time as you. then he offered me another appointment time in 2 weeks. I took my business elsewhere and very happy I did.

Went in knowing what I wanted and Ashley had an appontment but they never came in so she took me right then. Shes amazing and I scheduled my next tattoo sleeve with her, also its really hard to find a good watercolor tattoo artist that will sit down and work up and custom design. This was the most racist place I have been too in lawton. BLACK PEOPLE keep your share of our 1.2 trillion out of this shop. I went there yesterday with a friend no one moved or ever said a word and the one customer that started speaking in mid sentence stop talking and giving eye contact. I guess she realized she was no longer at work and was not required to speak and yes she was in her army uniform. I will make it my business to tell this story everywhere I mean everywhere I go. My rating is ------------------.-------------- negative point negative. Pleases pay attention all the reviews are given by white people so that 4.8 rating is a white only rating people.

Mike Evans (the owner) is a major princess. Seriously, the dude is WAY too about himself, and its costing him business. Keep in mind I have over 100 hours of ink on me, so Im familiar enough with the process and how fickle some artists can be and what an excellent artist normally charges. With that said, he took it to a whole new level. I mean he seemed cool enough at first, despite his ravings of how spectacular he is and how overpriced his sessions are so he can live in his awesome house overlooking the mountains. But I was new to the area and every other tattoo studio in Lawton seemed pretty bad (I looked at all of them too).So I threw my overpriced $100 dollar deposit down for an overpriced $500 half-day session. Came in a week or so prior because I had some updates on the concept...Silly me, Princess only allows that between 12 and 1. So I came in the next day. He got kind of weird and thoroughly explained how doesnt draft up the tattoo designs until the week before the session so its fresh in his mind and because hes sooo busy. Fair enough, but two days prior to having the ink on my skin for the rest of my life he still had nothing drawn up!!! Then had the nerve to get flaky and lippy with me! Again talking about how busy he is. Mike, I hope youre reading this: NO ONE CARES HOW BUSY YOU ARE! Especially if its your excuse for neglecting future clients! So before I could cancel with him he beat me to the punch, saying that after our conversation he didnt feel he was the artist for me Fine by me! Apparently wanting to see a tattoo design from a new artist and be able to analyze it for more than 20 minutes prior to the session starting is an issue with this primadonna. Then he didnt even have the brass to give me my deposit back himself and made the beautiful tattoo artist lady who works for him do it.DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! For starters, hes not even that good for the prices he charges. Sure, hes probably the best in Lawton, but thats not really saying much. If you want quality ink then save yourself the money and hassle of dealing with a self-absorbed, delusional, and unprofessional narcissist by driving to OKC. Theres plenty of BETTER and less expensive artists there, and the $5 in gas and hour of driving itll cost you is well worth it in the end.Also, after telling several other tattooed friends of mine about all this they said they had a similar experience or have heard several other people complain about the same thing. Mike is lucky hes working in Lawton, because in any other decent/large city hed be a small fish in a big pond, and his horrible mindset would put him out of business...quickly.
