Friendly neighborhood store with the best meats in town.

Nice little grocery store! It was clean and service was impeccable. Produce was nice and shiny looking. Meat selection was wonderful. Pleasantly surprised, found products that are native to Louisiana that I cant find anywhere near.

Smaller local supermarket. Nice alternative to Walmart.

Discount foods, has wonderful produce and the prices are reasonable. Customer service is off the charts. I recommend this store because it is locally owned and a wonderful place to get groceries.

I only go there for their produce and some fresh meats! Down home place and the heart of the town!

I drive from north central area to south east part of town because I save money on meats and produce. Bananas at 3# for a $1. In season produce.

Discount foods is the go to place for produce! They have good meat choices too. Employees are pretty good about checking you out quick and they send somebody to take your groceries out if you buy enough to use a cart.

I find that their prices are very reasonable. I love buying my bananas there. They sell them 3lbs for $1.00. I think this is such a great deal. My kids love me to make banana chocolate chip pancakes on the weekend. I also use them to bake muffins and banana walnut bread.

Bananas are always 3 pounds for a dollar, & they are top quality. Right now they have summer peaches from Georgia, which are delicious, the way peaches should be. The rest of the store is clean & has a variety of items to make it a pleasure to shop there. The people who work there are so nice & helpful.

We are from out of town and here for a few months for my fiances job and trying different grocery stores in town and I could not believe the high prices here! it was rediculously high! i do not know why they call themselves Discount Foods because there is No discount whatsoever! the cigarettes were cheap but thats it! we will never shop Discount Foods here again!

I was looking for a couple of briskets to smoke without 3/4 of an inch or more of fat. I took a chance and came to this store. They only had one out so I asked the lady at the meat counter if they had any more and that I was looking for a lean brisket. She brought 5 that were good selections. I took 2 of course. The meat dept is next to the fresh and seasonal and local produce. Great selection! After I got some veggies I went to check out. They were so helpful. I have a toddler, they took out my groceries and loaded them in my car. Very friendly staff, older grocery store but customer service makes up for cosmetics! Im definitely coming back.

Dont like shopping at all...but dont mind going here...easy to get in and out...like their meat packaging...best neck bones...and greens...hometown grocery store...

Great prices on food. Friday is fresh produce so make sure you buy your produce on Friday. I have suspect that there freezing their veggies and thaugh out later but that is just suspect . It is just alot of time buying there produce got home and wow I think this was frozen. Ok enough of that check for yourself but I gave them 5 stars because it is a great place for getting groceries and produce. I recommend you shop their.

Great meat department. Take your time and look at everything.. Other staples are very pricey.

Now this is the best place to go in the summer if you want fresh veggies and fruits. They have slot of home grown from the garden fresh stuff. Wonderful place to go. If you cant find something at any other store you can almost bet discount foods has it.

Little bit pricey compare to walmart and choices are limited. Staff needs polishing on people skills. Beef, pork, chicken and vegetables are fresh and price is right but the rest Walmart.

My husband has shopped here for over 30 years and swears their meat depaprtment is the best!!! The cut their own meat and they gladly take specific types of orders. Their prices are well below most of the other food stores, in Lawton, PLUS their meat is ALWAYS fresh. Myself, I enjoy their fresh vegetables and fruits. They usually buy from farmers in our area but,, they do purchase some of their fruit from Texas. I highly recommend shopping here.

Check cashing personnel are awesome. Cashiers dont greet you yet give bad looks all around. Panhandlers blvd..

Pros: I liked the prices and the convenience of where they were located. Cons: Not a very good neighborhood. The store was a little dirty and in the parking lot there were homeless people begging for change and cigarettes. But if you want a one stop shop for food and liquor, and youre broke, this is the place.

Its called Discount, but the food is priced higher than average per ounce. I would give it 1 star, but they have a wonderful little bank in there that will cash almost any check for a very reasonable fee.

My visit here was surprisingly horrible. Ive lived her many years and as of yet found orHeard of any any good name for this store. It is the ghetto store of Lawton, Ok. Fyi the food is not on discount at all.

Usually the employees are really nice, but lately the cashiers have been really rude. A couple with just really nasty demeanors and attitude.

I have to say that I was impressed. Especially with the exceptional produce isle. However, there was a lack of variety ie, only one type of bread, one size dish soap-small etc. But, having said that, the service was excellent, and only a short wait at the check-out! Yay!

The Prices Are way too much for what its worth

Very nice place to shop at there neats is cut fresh and its has that hometown grocery store feeling Ive been shopping there along time.

Too old and the products they sell are low quality but given the area it is in I see why they bring those products but I still believe they can bring in more choices. I think the staff need to cheer up a little bit. One old lady was very pleasant

The reason why I like discount Foods is because they have great cheap Meats there and they look and are fresher than the ones Walmart thats my opinion but its true.

Dont let the name fool you, they are very very exspensive on all items. BUT they do have a really good meat department and produce department at good prices. Its ok for a quick stop for one or two items. I never buy ice cream there, its never frozen to correct temp and has caused tummy problems many times, I finally learned my lesson. They get in great cakes and pies! They sell Brocks candy that you can scoop up and bag yourself. REALLY Friendly employees and are very helpful. Can cash paychecks there if you need to.
