It has definitely change since i have been in last with more mass produced merchandise from overseas. But they still have a few booths with vintage & antiques at pretty reasonable prices.

The items are nice, well organized & a lot to browse. However the two older women working yesterday, 1/2/21, were so rude. When we were ready to checkout neither of them greeted us or asked if we found everything ok. Neither of them made any type of effort to carry a conversation. Neither of them had masks on properly, both were pulled under their chins. We paid in cash & as we were pulling the change to make it even, the one women says “she already has your change out!” As if they are too incompetent to do math for exact change. Neither of them wished us a nice day or any type of farewell. It’s a very cute place from the outside but the attitude of the employees was incredibly ugly. We will not be back, I suggest skipping this place, considering most of the items are the EXACT same items you can purchase at Marshall’s, tj maxx, hobby lobby, michaels, for half of the price. nothing here is worth the lack of customers service.

Not your average antique store! This is not a stuffy place filled with old junk. They obviously put a lot of effort into buying, refinishing and refining pieces into modern decor. The staff is very welcoming but not overbearing. They have a huge selection of refinished pieces and pieces that one could finishing and style themselves. Great for those who want fixer uppers. Stop by and explore On a Whim and the two other decor stores on the same lot. Great experience for all tastes. Also an amazing coffee shop directly across the street.

Buyer beware! I love shopping at this place as it is a fun experience walking around and seeing all of the different vignettes. I went this past weekend and fell in love with a lamp that was in the store- I ultimately decided not to get it because it was a little pricey- $88 and they have a “no return” policy. On my way home from Leesburg, I decided to drop by Hobby Lobby … and saw the EXACT same lamp for $40. While walking around Hobby Lobby, I saw multiple other things that were on sale at On A Whim… Thank goodness I decided to not splurge on the lamp. Although I love shopping here, I would be careful about what you do and do not spend your money on.

Fun, shabby sheik/country farmhouse decor. About 75% of the store is newer reproductions of vintage items, and the remaining 25% are antiques.

Nice collection of old furniture and Christmas (I assume seasonal) nick nacks. Prices are all over the place. Some things are cheaper but others seem over priced. Better then the antique shops nearby. Avoid these places on the weekends though. Trendy and rude NVA people can be a handful.-Shyhook
