Quality products phenomenal customer service. Definitely the place to go for your next project.
Cannot really say anything about the services and products that they offer, I was just there to make a delivery of assorted building products although the people who I came into contact with were helpful and professional
We had a bedroom window in our 17 year old home in The Villages that we have not been able to easily open or close for 3 years. It appeared to be off track and I could not personally get it closed, if I did manage to open it, which was difficult to do. My husband kept insisting we would have to replace the window. I urged him to call our handyman, who suggested we call RoMac. A very courteous young man named James Bowen arrived exactly on time and completely fixed the window within 15 minutes, using parts he had in his truck for under $125 - best money spent in a while! Since all of our windows seem to have the black rubber sealing them between the double-pane windows coming loose and sliding down, I asked James about that while he was here. He told me our double sealed glass windows could be replaced with new, better windows, making them new without needing to replace the entire window, at a much lower and more reasonable cost than a total replacement. At my request, he measured all our windows to have the office send us an estimate. I ABSOLUTELY would not hesitate to call them again or have them replace our window glass, in lieu of new windows! AAA+ service!!
Will not stand behind the product they sell, when we were unhappy with the door insert we asked what our options were. They responded with pay your bill immediately or we will turn you over to a collection agency! When we complained to the CEO he was arrogant and bullying!
5 stars are given to Dan of RoMac. He was very professional and customer oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. His promptness was undeniable and we would recommend him to anyone needing garage door assistance. Thanks for your help, Dan. You are an asset to your Organization.
We love RoMac, the people r so sweet an helpfull .we dont get true service from other lumber yards, an advice like RoMac
The best local builder supplier around. You will not find their level of technical expertise in building materials in the big box stores. Ask for Chryston Hill if you are looking for the best.
Needed a good 2×6 and didnt want a big boxStore. Checked on Google and RoMac had a very high rating. Glad I did!
Very helpful great customer service
Steve in window department was excellent and prompt.
We have two sets of 7.5 tall sliding doors in our new home. The installation was a little off and they didnt close correctly. Clinton and Jeff came to repair them and did an amazing job. I didnt think they could be fixed but after removing and adjusting them, they work perfectly. Great job guys. Thank you.
Nice selection to choose from for your building needs. Staff was helpful and friendly.
1 stop shop for all of your building material needs with knowledgeable staff
Very nice bldg supply store
The folks at RoMac are exceptional. I have never had a bad experience with them. It is their goal to make sure you are happy. If there is a problem with your order they will make sure it is correct. Great Company, Great People
Been trying to get windows put in my garage doors, When they should up to do the work and told us they would have to reschedule when they could send a second person to help out. Then couple days before they were going to come again they called and out of glass for a month ??
🙂 lots and lots of wood to pick from all kinds of moneys price right
We purchased new windows, for our manufactured home, from RoMac Building Supply. The entire experience was pleasant and professional. From the initial ordering, to the remeasuring for accuracy (thanks David R.), to the final delivery all went like clockwork. We installed the windows ourselves and the windows were all a perfect fit. RoMac was there for us the entire job. Thanks Again, RoMac Lumber!
We had a miserable experience with another garage door repair company, so we checked Facebook and friends referred us to Romac. I didnt even know they did garage door repair. They booked a same-day appointment for me with a 3-6pm window. Driver showed up a few hours early, analyzed the situation with our garage door, and went to work solving the issue. I watched him the whole time: He was polite, gentle with my door, and knew exactly what he was doing because within about 40 minutes he had it sliding up and down the tracks just like new. He spent another couple of minutes tightening and tuning things. He adjusted the door opener and was done inside an hour. There was no BS appointment fee. The technician was polite, showed up early, and did a good job fixing my door. I dont feel like they raked me over the coals on pricing either.Im not sure what more you could ask for. Romac delivered where other garage door companies in the area fell flat on their faces.
I like that they specialize in different aspects of your home such as doors, windows, etc. Plus they are an independently owned company.
Romac installed new windows in my house. They were the most reasonably priced and the installation was VERY fast and done well. Everyone I worked with throughout the process was great! Would definitely recommend.
I work at this location. I am asawyer/ forklift operator. To be honest this place helped me out of hard times
Great Frontline staff. Got me right to a salesman. Great samples and examples of their products. I was in the DoorStore
Had occasion to use this company to replace block & tackle balances on several window that were installed by a company that is now out of business. Our technician Chris Adkins couldn’t have been more accommodating. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and is a credit to your company. You can be sure that in the future RoMac will be recommended to friends and neighbors. It is a pleasure do business with RoMac. Thank You.
I work here its a friendly place for all ur building needs
Great staff. Big help for big and small projects
The home we purchased had door installed by RoMac. There was a ding in the door so I contacted the company via phone and was pleasantly greeted who gathered my information and was so pleasant while doing so. An appointment was scheduled and within 48 hours the representative, Craig came to assess the situation. Craig was exceptional and without issue noted he would order the new panel and when it arrived he would return to install it. Sure enough I received a call and he came out and installed the panel. I cannot say enough good about this company. Its always the staff that make any business and certainly Craig is one that makes this company one I would never hesitate to use in the future. Thank you Craig.
Jimmy arrived on time!! He was extremely courteous and kept a clean working area. Helped with the decision making process by answering all our questions and concerns. Thanks so much!
Thank you for recommending Watkins Seamless Gutters. I used them and was extremely pleased with their professional service and knowledge. I would highly recommend them. Thanks again for introducing them to me.
My service associate Dan, came to look at my garage door as the motor had been struck by lighting. He schedule my apt for two days later which was fine with me. To my surprise, he was able to come back that same day And bring a new motor. Installation went great and he was a great guy to work with. I could have waited but I could not have lifted up my garage door to get in and out. So, he knew that and made arrangements to come back the same day. What a great service technician and he was so kind. I give him more than 5 stars because his first though was for me rather then his schedule. Thank you Dan. All the best. Jean DeVito.
Very helpful people nice selection.
Excellent place to build your supplies
They have everything you could want! It’s like a candy story for builders! Service is amazing!
Dan, our service technician, was on time and very efficient. The repairs were made quickly and Dan was very thorough cleaning up the debris. He was also very pleasant. Would recommend Romac (especially Dan) to anyone.
Well stocked stpre.
I own a home in Arlington Ridge, having purchased one of the original homes built here instead of bringing something out of the ground. Stuff breaks and requires maintenance. Door handle and lock assembly on my sliding glass door to the lanai were kaput. A local resident suggested that I take the defective part to RoMac and replace it. They matched he part in about 30 seconds. A gentleman provided some long screws to use, for free! Im not the handiest guy around, but even I could do this installation in about 10 minutes with hand tools. Perfect! I couldnt be more pleased with the help and excellent customer service I received this afternoon at RoMac.
Windows were measured wrong. The installers had a tough time getting them in. One window is completely wrong. No follow up from RoMac and phone calls not returned. Very unprofessional company. Job still not completed. Avoid RoMac at all cost.Follow up.... Dear RoMac, thank you for finally responding. I’ve called Mr. Chavez three times to discuss our problems, I still have not received a return call. I’ve tried to deal with Frank Piazza but he does not seem to understand ( after three phone calls ) someone from RoMac, NOT THE SUBCONTRACTOR, come to my house and see what was done.Secondary to the poor customer service, I’ve also had problems getting a final inspection. I contacted the inspectors office and was informed RoMac did not file the Notice to Commence paperwork properly, so I could not get a final inspection until they corrected that form. This is why I called Mr. Chavez, I was told he was the head of the window division, but he has not returned my calls. I made a third call Wednesday, 1/29 to see if RoMac had corrected the Notice to Commence form. The clerk informed me they had filed another form on 1/25 but it was incorrect also. She then said she would go ahead and put me on the schedule for Thursday 1/30.Now comes another problem. The inspector came and did his walk around and opened and closed every window. He told me they were fantastic windows but he did see one problem. He told me that he has been in this business for almost 60 years and he’s NEVER seen a worse caulking job in his career. He also said it seems as though the six windows in the lanai seem to be hard to close, they were backwards or upside down.I have paid RoMac $7000 for this, with the remaining amount to be paid upon completion. I have made a total of four phone calls to RoMac since the job has been supposedly completed. The only response I have received is from this post...My name is John Keith DeWitt. Please feel free to call me anytime.
Service was excellent and timely. Had issues with our garage doors not operating. Ken F came out the same day and fixed the problem. He was pleasant, courteous and took the time to explain the issue with me.
Thats the place to go if you want to get quality wood at the best price. I just picked up all the wood to do my baseboards there.
Our windows are beautiful! We were so happy with our installers, Billy and Spenser. They arrived on time, worked hard, were very professional yet personable and completed the job on time. I would highly recommend them!!!
We had defective windows replaced by two Romac mechanics today. They did an excellent and very professional job. Our entire experience with Romac has been very positive. The mechanics were Jimmy and Clinton who did excellent work.
Fantastic people, service is wonderful and they have everything you need!!
Entrance is on the side street. Dont park on that street. Check in before you pull in. Dock for doors is almost to the end, not a lot of room. People are friendly and once I got in the dock I got unloaded pretty quickly.
We used Roman window department, David and Bo were our contacts. Windows were installed about a month earlier than expected. The subs were Farmer window installers out of Sumpter county. Would highly recommend them, two brothers, Billy and James. Courteous, kept things clean as possible, true craftsman in their field. Working together the four men at Roman and Farmer made the install a good experience. Thanks Duke Mangold, Leesburg
Romac took great care of us. Their staff listened to our needs and worked to accommodate our requests. We are very happy with the results and service from the RoMac team.
Dan came for a Garage Door Annual Tune Up Special. He was polite and knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. This is the reason I stay with RoMac - honesty and knowledge.
THIS WAS MY SECOND VISIT FROM ROMAX. 1st TIME WAS TO CHECK OUT ALL MY WINDOWS AND ORDER A REPLACEMENT. THEMAN JIMMY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND I WAS IMPRESSED. HE CAME TO DO THE REPLACEMENT AND AS BEFORE THE SERVICE WAS GREAT.
Dan installed a MVP Keyless Entry pad for me this a.m. He was fast, efficient, personable, very informative and great to talk with. He is the kind of employee that other companies only hope to find. Thanks for sending him to do this installation.
Your employee-Clinton was very knowledgeable about my malfunctioning sliding garage door . He inspected it and determined that it needed a little cleaning. We never met a more friendly nor nicer workman. We wanted you to know that we will continue to value Romac as we have for over 20 years. Ruby Wanland (Highland Lakes)
For years we’ve done business with Romac through Phil Moon, who was awesome and had the best customer service on the planet. This man jumped through hoops everyday for us. Unfortunately, the new salesperson Chryston Hill is absolutely terrible. She is completely rude and unhelpful and acts like she is doing us a favor helping us! But even worse, now she is trying to charge us for orders we’ve never even confirmed or signed contracts for. When I told her that this wasn’t right and that we would certainly not be paying for items we did not order, she began yelling at and berating me. When I told her that she was acting in a completely unprofessional manner and that I would not continue to argue with her over a moot point, she yelled “Fine...I’ll just send the invoices that you owe.” and hung up on me. I have never in my life experienced such poor service and terrible attitude from someone in the sales/service industry. Word of advice to other fellow builders...Romac has changed for the worst! I’d go with someone else if I were you!
Dan was on time and worked with diligence to get the job done. He was very informative about my new garage door opener and programmed it to my car button. Thanks RoMac and Dan
Sliding glass door replacement (10 ft width) was installed by Pee Wee and his crew. They did an excellent job and the window fit the space with the usual remodel issues that the crew managed well.
Nice costumer service and prices.
Great prices and most of all really friendly staff that were extremely helpful to me on my visit there last week and today. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and I really appreciate it. Thank you for your professional and friendly attitudes. You guys and gals rock! My 6 month old loved them too 😉
Nice place to work love the family...everybodys respectful..
One of the worst places I have ever unloaded at. No one knows what is going on or can tell you where you need to be. I arrived at 7 a.m. and didnt get unloaded until 10:30 a.m. Avoid this place.....
I work at RoMac truss plant good place to work
Our first contact with RoMac was with Frank Piazza. We explained what we were looking for in windows, doors and storm doors. He showed us around their showroom floor explaining the different types of products, warranties, etc. With his help and knowledge we decided what we wanted and what would work best for us and Frank made it happen. Frank brought Bo out to measure all our windows, doors and storm doors. Their shop had to do some modifications for our doors (customize) and within a few weeks, a work crew led by PeeWee did an excellent job of installing everything in 3 days. Did we have any hiccups along the way? Sure. Minor things such as a door key change and one frame around one window. Frank and Bo came out and fixed everything to our satisfaction. We highly recommend RoMac if you are looking for new windows and doors or replacements.
Garage door stopped opening via remote. Technician Ken came right away. Ken spent considerable time trying to determine the problem. He was not able to resolve the problem the first night. He came back the next morning and was able to fix the problem. I appreciated Ken’ s helpfulness and friendly manner
I sure wish google would let you rate negative for stars please don’t waste your time here. Horrible service. Had plans done from them and have had them revised 5 different times. Even with them coming out to take pictures of the things I need drawn and me explaining everything. Again please people look at the reviews, this place is not worth the money.
Great customer service will use them for everything
Our experience was wonderful, from choosing a window through installation. You have a wonderful Crew of Installers and an awesome Sales Person.Thank you Ro Mac of Leesburg
Not happy at all. Used the door shop to take advantage of their experience and that was a mistake. The door was not prepared according to the hardware manufacturers drawings and didnt fix the opening that I gave them. Their prices were higher than similar doors and I could of gotten the hardware online for about half of what I paid them. Before it was installed I had to modify the height and width plus reinforce the top sile to make the door work. I fully expect to have to replace the door in the near future with one suitable for this application. If your buying parts, pieces, or just material they may be adequate but dont expect good craftsmanship or quality work.
Not like the big box stores. These guys will help you build a house from the ground up. They can offer advice and help on remodeling or replacing things around your home like doors, windows, roof, etc. They have a lot of knowledge here and wont kick you to the curb after getting a sale.
Great experience inside and out
RoMac just replaced all of the windows in my home in Eustis Florida and I could not be happier! From the Saleman David Rockefeller to the Installers Billy and Spencer was a wonderful experience. David answered all of our questions, set up purchase and installation even sooner than expected. Billy and Spencer were outstanding. They worked through rain storms to get the job done, and when the rain did slow them down, they worked on Saturday to complete the job! This is the kind of outstanding customer service the will always bring customers back. It sure will for me!Thanks RoMac!Richard Bartzer
Not a good place to make deliveries
Romac does an absolutely great job. Customer service and the help they provided for my project was fantastic.
Good
Very professional garage door opener installation.
Dan the technician was wonderful, friendly and so knowledgeable. Fixed all our problems at a reasonable cost. Thanks, Dan.
The consensus is in the reviews. Romac first, customer second mentality. We were referred to Romac to have plans designed for our house and this ended up being a costly mistake. Romac takes no responsibility for their mistakes. Shop around locally there are better deals with national brands and some other great local suppliers.
Working with RoMac Windows has been a nightmare. Communication has been quite a challenge with poor results. One month ago Windows installed. One screen ripped. Called RoMac day of install for replacement screen. 2 weeks later Whoops replacement screen was never ordered. Too late for new screen. Now they are fixing screen. One week later where is my screen? They will check. Two weeks later where is my screen? They will check. Still waiting. Its a small screen what is taking so long?Plus side the installers were fantastic and did a great job.
In business since the 1940s. ☝😁
Needed my garage door repaired in an emergency situation. They came withing four hours of calling and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost. The technician was professional courteous and did a great job. I would most highly recommend Ro-Mac for any garage door situation.
DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT hire RO-MAC to retro your windows. On 12/27/18 with partial payment of $3,425 I contracted with Ro-mac to replace all of our windows. Our salesman assured us it would be a professional job and that they only use the best subcontractors and upon completion we would only have to slightly do a repaint touch-up if anything. What should have been a 3-4 day job turned into a 3-month job. The original subcontractor they used (Windows by Farmers) came in and man handled every single window, busting sills, unnecessarily removing bathroom tile, damaging stucco, and damaging drywall and did not care. Obviously, these guys did not know how to properly remove windows let alone respect our home. They were not professional in any sense of the word. A call and message were left on salesmans cell phone after the first day of the construction because we were not happy with the process. Our call and message were not returned. Upon completion the windows were hard to open and close and we could see outside and daylight coming through them on the sides. The caulk job inside and outside around the windows is HORRIBLE! The caulk line inside and out is at least 1/2 wide and in some areas its an inch! Looks like a toddler did it with a paint roller. Apparently, theyve never caulked before either and didnt know to use a wet sponge to wipe off excess. We contacted Ro-Mac and complained and they sent someone out to look at windows (Bo). We were informed that 10 of the 15 windows were installed incorrectly and to make them right they needed to be removed, shimmed, and re-installed. Bo was indeed nice and seemed very apologetic. He was embarrassed by the quality of work to say the least. I was livid about all the repairs that I am going to have to make inside and outside because the subcontractor they originally used lacked the knowledge of how to remove a window properly. We stressed to him how dissatisfied we were and how they are now costing us much more money to fix what they damaged. Not to mention this is now more than a slight repaint touch-up. At the time he was understanding of how angry we were and in agreement with all of our issues/concerns. He told us repeatedly that he was going to make it right and he wanted us to be happy with the work and our windows. He offered to fix the two busted sills in one bedroom and he was going to see what he could do about a granite sill and the stucco since the damage was uncalled for and due to incorrect removal and installation. He again was sure that he could take care of all of these issues since this was not our fault. A week or so goes by and they send out a different crew to start removing/reinstalling windows. These guys did what they were supposed to do with what they had to work with. The damage was already done and they were to just go behind the original sub crew and fix it the best way that they could. I do not know if our windows are perfect or even installed correctly for that matter but they do open and close easier and I cant see directly outside through the sides of the windows. As for the stucco, drywall, tile, and sills I was told today to take $300 off of my final payment. Yes, $300 folks and I am not joking. Bo said that he argued our situation but Ro-mac refuses to take care of anything because per the contract they are not responsible for sill or stucco damage. I totally get that but how about the fact that my windows were improperly removed and replaced by your incompetent subcontractor! Absolutely absurd! So comical for a company that has been around as long as they have. Im not quite sure how theyve managed that. I do know that I will never use or refer Ro-mac for anything ever again. I dont believe that their subcontractors have the ability/knowledge to build a dog house. PLEASE before you use them to do your windows....DO YOUR RESEARCH! Unfortunately, we learned the hard way.
Website is cumbersome and difficult to navigate. I was looking for choices and availability of Trex decking and gave up after several tries. Could not get past some boring sales video. I’ll find the product someplace else.
These folks know the meaning of customer service. Hats off to their team for a job well done.
Great job, would recommend it to anyone. Hard to read the signature but I think the technician was Dan. He did a super job, fast, and professional . Great guy.
Started months ago, and we havent been pleased. If this is the beginning, theyll loose another customer.
I ordered 8 new PGT double pane, low-e windows, and also 8 new doors from RoMac on November 3, taking a 5% discount for prepaying the order. Total over $8,000, with RoMac doing the installation. From the beginning, my deadline was to have everything completed prior to December 18, to which they agreed. Install was scheduled for December 13 & 14. All our furniture was to be delivered on the 18th.The installer wasnt available till Saturday Dec. 16, and he said he would return Sunday to finish. He got started on the 16th, then was a no-show on Sunday. He finally returned to finish up Wednesday the 20th. By then, our furniture had been delivered, so he was installing exterior doors and windows, creating dust throughout the house. All 3 exterior doors we left incomplete without interior trim, and several of the windows had deep scratches in the vinyl and one frame was broken.I had several people from RoMac come out to look at how it was left.FINALLY, on January 25, 2 different installers came out to fix issues. Theyve spent the entire day, ran out of material, have made a mess of one of the doors, and need to come back another day to finish up.Sadly, while they are trying to make this right, it has dragged out (nearly 3 months since the paid order) and still isnt right.
Probably the worst Lumber company Ive ever worked with. Incompetency is rampart in the Co. They supplied $10,000 worth of Windows & doors for my addition; they couldnt install them correctly, shipped outside doors for inside openings, had doors opening the wrong way, couldnt install the outside door casings correctly, didnt know how to use the tapered casing shims, broke a large picture window during installation, had to reorder a pair of Trapezoid windows 3 times before they fit. Caused a 3 month delay in the completion of the addition. The Trusses they built for the addition were incorrect and had to be cut to fit and many of the angled truss pieces had the wrong angle cut forcing the framers to fix on site. The quality of the wood they sell is low and more expensive than other sources according to the framers that built my addition. When I went to order some replacement windows for the rest of the house, several quotes came in but the window sizes were different in the quotes for the same windows? They wanted me to sign a release that would relieve them of any damage they might cause during the replacement window installation. I responded with document that would hold them accountable for any damage they did and mistakes they made in ordering the Windows; they wouldnt sign it!
Ordered and payed for lumber. They could not get the lumber. It was difficult getting my money back. Overall horrible experience . Not true, took over an hour.
Customer service is definitely not a strong suite of Ro-mac. At this point I contacted them a month ago for a estimate for new windows and doors for my home. I still havent actually received that. After two weeks of waiting I visited their office in person, to ask about the estimate. They said someone had already been to the home and measured everything. I was shocked as no one spoke with me about what I wanted. Then the office staff printed the estimate for windows only, and windows I didnt want. Which was easily corrected. Turn I told them I wanted a new exterior doors I went to select them sales person following. I selcted the door I wanted as well trim, the sales lady took down everything perfect.I wish I could remember her name as she was the only pleasant part of the experience. I went over to garage doors and with the most unpleasant women I have ever encountered. I told I was selecting a garage door, she do you know what want. I said not exactly but I can pick quickly. She said well your not supposed to here if you dont know what you want. Even after I still went forward selected a door I actually wanted. I gave her the information and said thats the door. She look me straight in the face and do you know how expensive that is? I really didnt care that was the door I wanted. She literally repeated herself that door is very expensive. At this point I just walked out. I went back to windows and gave the garage door information. Two weeks later still no estimate. At this Ill simply hire another company...... I cant justify wanting on a company that even get a bid together. If it is starting out this poorly I cant imagine it getting better. My advice call a another professional or limit your involvement with them to small projects....they seem to do ok with those. If you actually mind leading them by the hand or constantly calling them you may be ok. Also keep in they will speak to however they see fit......for me personally that was a problem.
Great price, and loaded it all on/in our truck. We will be back for roofing supplies.
This company I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF sent me a certified letter telling me they didnt, but MIGHT put a lien on my property. When I called to question this and voice my EXTREME humiliation for receiving such an unwarranted threat, I was told it was for my protection against contractors who MIGHT not pay them. Now that I have had experience with them, I am adamant that they will never receive my business. Its like: We dont know you, buy if you ever rob a bank, well have you arrested.UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Dont put call before delivery on bills if no one wants to answer the phone 👌
Delayed my job by 11 weeks, unreliable supplier
Awesome company!
Ive been waiting for a screen order for 2 years.
Wonderful
Terrible service,
