A wealth of options to pick from -- coffee, beer, wine and snacks -- and all are great. Really enjoyed talking/mixing it up with the staff as well. Theyre super friendly and really know coffee better than I do! Learning about the regions Im drinking makes for a unique experience. Great to work/hang out both inside and outside. Stop in!

My new favorite coffee shop! Goosecup is woman-owned and boasts a modern minilmist interior and rustic exterior with a spacious patio. Its such an inviting, bright space to enjoy an iced oat latte on a Summer day. Couple it with their homemade orange and olive oil muffin and youre set. They even have self service oat milk for your coffee!A cool concept to serve cocktails and beer alongside coffee throughout the day. Give Goosecup a spin (pun-intended as the W&OD trail is right by it).

This place is so good and nice. It’s really clean. I like how they have plenty of tables and the place kinda big. I’m in love with their interior even though it’s so simple. I tried flat white and their coffee is amazing. The only tiny negative thing is that they don’t have food other than croissants, but it’s yummy.Definitely not gonna be my last time here.

Came for lunch and liked it so much we circled back later in the day for drinks (negroni for me, martini for him) in the afternoon. such a lovely, airy spot in downtown leesburg that maintains a simple menu where everything is done well. won’t be forgetting their crisp caesar with butter lettuce and anchovy fillets any time soon. and don’t miss their happy hour from 4-7 when cocktails are all $2 off. can’t wait to make the return trip and sample the natural wine selection next.

I love the food and ambiance, but the service is extremely poor. We waited on line only to be told to sit down ourselves and download a code, look through the menu, order, input personal information….charged a tip regardless of our experience….When we asked the person at the counter if we could just order at the counter she said “It’s easier for us if you do it this way.” It’s easier for YOU? After 10+ minutes of fooling with the code, I said we really needed to order at the counter. The person at the counter DID NOT CARE ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE AT ALL. After 20 minutes of being at Goosecup, we actually got a coffee. Coffee was awesome, service is absurdly bad. Not the first time I’ve e had bad service. I hope the owner cares!

The makers here are serious about their craft, and it shows. Damn near everything but the spirits themselves are crafted in house. Quality, competence, and dedication to craft are evident in every concoction.

Great local spot, lots of room inside and on patio. Prices are a bit steep ($4 for a croissant!). Worst part is its SO LOUD inside. When the inside is bustling with people the person at the register has a hard time hearing the orders, impossible to hear the barrister call your name for your order and I have a very hard time hearing my family as we try to enjoy our order. Please consider some sound dampening panels. The clean look inside will not be changed if you add them. I cant believe your architect didnt think about this in the design, but now it needs to be addressed.

Food is terribly salty and overpriced. One positive: the place is actually conveniently situated and is comfortable. However the ambience is completely ruined by the poorly selected playlist and the inexperienced, unfriendly staff. I dont blame the staff though, in speaking with one of them, i found out they are grossly underpaid and arent provided much guidance. Shame on the owner for having the audacity to charge $9 for a canned beer and $14 for a handful of salty brussel sprouts while paying the staff criminally low wages. I went there with a party of 6 and we all agreed this place is subpar, none of the drinks were that good. Overall, I say save your money and go enjoy some quality coffee in one of the more established places in downtown Leesburg. King Street Coffee, Shoes etc.

Goosecup is where to go if you actually enjoy espresso made drinks that are made correctly. So many “specialty” coffee shops will serve you a 10 ounce cappuccino which is just wrong. Goosecup gets it right with the 6 ounce cappuccino and the sizes of all the other drinks. The staff is very friendly and the inside is very clean as well. Also you can sit inside and enjoy your drink in a real coffee cup vs most coffee shops where you have to stand outside in the cold and drink out of cardboard. 10/10.

Clean coffee shop with welcoming and professional staff. However it didnt really give off the warm and cozy vibe that boutique coffee bars are generally known for. I got a latte, and even though I acknowledged that I was staying when the staff asked if the order was for here, I received a to-go cup, which I thought was odd. The coffee was flavorful and just the right temperature. The room has a high ceiling that creates echoes, so even with 8-10 people inside, it was hard to carry on a conversation with the person I was meeting. The room could use some acoustic tiles in the cieling to dampen the echo and provide a more relaxing feel for those that want to have coffee dates and meetings.

I’ve been going to this place since they first opened, maybe 5 or so months ago. I always try to support local businesses, and Goosecup is a nice place with many coffee and other options. But I’ve been disappointed on multiple occasions, mainly due to the incompetent staff. Multiple times I’ve ordered a pastry and one staff would told me they are out, and 15 mins later another staff takes out a new box of pastries. Ordered the ricotta fig toast, which I’ve been telling many friends about, and the second time I had ordered it, it was totally different from the first time, and instead of toast it was an open sandwich with cheese and fig. Ordered a salmon toast, they said they ran out,30 mins later I see another table with it. There seems to be no consistency and/or lack of communication with staff in the front and kitchen staff. I really hope they make some changes soon, I really like their coffee and the staff are usually very nice and friendly.

Unsanitary practices! Saw the bartendar mixing a drink with a cocktail mixing spoon, tasted a drink order with the spoon and then re use the same spoon to taste another drink order. If you’re not sure if the cocktail tastes balanced, pour a slash of the drink in your own separate cup or use a disposable straw. Very sad, because I have been waiting for this place to open and it had potential and once I saw this, I was throughly disgusted and dissapointed and actually got sick that night. Theres already covid-19, why put your mouth on a spoon to taste drinks? That water cup is not sanitization nor does it appear that way to guests. The staff were friendly but the handling of the drinks was horrendous.

After three visits to GooseCup, I am happy to write that this new shop is fantastic and produces fantastic, quality coffee drinks (cocktail review coming soon!)! I am still recovering from years of Starbucks sugar-infused drinks and have found great pleasure with drinks that bring out more natural flavors. GooseCup seems to share that goal, producing tasty beverages with minimal additives that let the real flavors emerge. These are drinks to be appreciated and not gulped down. The flat white reminded me of the flat white I got many times in Sydney, Australia, where the espresso blended beautifully with the foam. The matcha latte was proper matcha, whipped by hand, and blended to let the real matcha flavor emerge (yes, matcha has a little bitterness, but that’s expected and good!).I am very pleased, and think that folks who need to douse their coffee in sugar may not like it here, but I know I will be back often! Thank you, and we look forward to GooseCup’s success!

Visited for my wifes birthday to try something new while we were out. Asthetically, its very nice. Loved the outdoor seating area even though it was raining the day we visited. And the nearby covered pavilion is beautiful. Inside was sparse, but pleasant (maybe fill the shelves with something? Why have empty shelves?). But, it was very loud and echoes inside when moderately busy so we sat outside in the pavilion. Took us several minutes to figure out where to order as there were people standing around in different places around the counter. Definitely no place to stand out of the way while waiting for the order, signs for order here and pick up here would be helpful given the layout and multiple entrances. Most importantly though (and maybe its my Americanized pallette) but the drinks were not good, not kid friendly, and overpriced. We love hot cocoa. Order it year round. We even asked about the staff before ordering and were told it wasnt very sweet, and boy were they right! Which is weird because its also on the kids menu. My kids decided to hedge their bets and order chocolate milk (pre-packaged) instead. My wife and I ordered the hot chocolates because we love trying new things and an Italian soda to back it up in case it wasnt good. It was pricey (about $20 for 3 adult drinks and 2 kids drinks with a $2 tip). There was NO sugar. None. Zip. Zero. The cocoa tasted like hot milk and straight, unsweetened, raw cocoa powder (not to be confused with hot cocoa powder). They even threw some extra, gritty cocoa powder on top for good measure, leaving the drink gritty. We disposed of them after trying a few sips, but we really WANTED to like them. Somehow, the kids chocolate milk was even worse. It tasted like unsweetened, slightly chocolately, sour milk. Date was fine, both packages were fine (it was clearly the brand). All of it went straight in the trash after we all taste tested each others to make sure we werent crazy. The soda was what saved the day. It was good. I cant speak to the coffee (dont care for it, love tea though), but I wouldnt take kids there frankly because it seems aimed at a very specific (vegan? organic? health concious?) crowd. We didnt see pastries or very many food items on the menu or on display, so Im not sure how expansive those options are. The wall-displayed menu was limited and only on a print out on the counter. It felt crowded in the order area, so we felt rushed to not look for too long. Itd be worthwhile, in my opinion, to add a few family-friendly and sweet options to the menu, make more of the menu available on the wall so people can look while waiting, set out some examples of your food items, pictures?, and better signage. We wont be visiting again, but best of luck to them.
