If I could give James and his daughters a score of 10 I would. Friendly, knowledgeable folks. I feel like Ive made a good friend with the owner.They go the extra mile. I bought a rod there that I love with James help. The best bait shop in that area by far. We get our bait there early in the morning. A great way to start your morning.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! We were visiting the area and wanted to help our 4 year old catch his first bass. It was a tall order given we were limited to bank fishing areas accesible to our 3 small children, and the only time we could get out to fish was in the heat of the day. The owner directed us to a good spot to try and even set up our poles with exactly what we needed. Our little guy was thrilled to hook his first smallmouth bass! If we are ever in the area we will definitely be back. We visited another tackle shop in the area which although bigger was not nearly as friendly or helpful. Highly recommended!

Small town bait shop awesome place very friendly

Very grateful for the good advice offered - resulted in my first catch in a while!Went back a couple of days later and they sent me to the right spot with the right bait. I had my best day ever on the water, bringing in a dozen white bass.Particularly appreciate that they didn’t make me feel dumb when answering my super basic questions.

Best bait shop I have been too in a while! Great hospitality, super nice people. Shelf selection was rather low, but it’s not what I was there for. They hooked me up on minnows and sent me out the door with a smile to carry back to the car.
