Excellent service!!! After a towing company advised that I needed a new car battery, I called Advance to see if they had it. They confirmed that the battery I needed was in stock and they would be able to install it the same day. Before the install, Jacob ran a test which confirmed my battery was actually working perfectly. He could have easily sold me a battery, but this saved me money. Everyone on staff was kind, helpful, and trustworthy. I highly recommend this business.

I sort of have a love-hate relationship with Advance Auto Parts. Of the four chain store auto parts dealers in my town, Advanced is normally the best one. Their selection is not great, customer service is lousy, and prices are mediocre. But its the best brick-and-mortar auto parts dealer in Lenoir. If you want better Parts, go to Napa. If you want better prices, go to AutoZone. If you want better customer service, go to OReilly.

Ive dealt with them for several years. For the most this is a good place to buy parts. I gave it only four stars because it has happened a couple of times that staff would stand and have a conversation with each other about non job related stuff while you have to stand and wait for them to help you. Other than that its a good place to buy car parts from.

Advance Auto Parts is pretty much the same as any other chain franchise parts store, it all comes down to the people who are working the counter and their knowledge of the job and experience doing the job, experience is not necessarily the same as age or position because I have had very young and eager and enterprising guys give me way better feedback about my car troubles than the older guys or even management could. It all boils down to did I get the correct part for my car and did that part fix my problem, but of course even if you get the correct part and it has the potential to solve your issue and you are a dumb ass with mechanical things and install it incorrectly then it doesnt really matter where you bought the part to begin with.

I always loved shopping at Advance Auto Parts for my auto repairs. This location is very easy to drive by and to pick up parts. Service is top notch and their staff members are very friendly. They went above and beyond to help me. You simply cant beat their price and promotional offers they run all year around.

Called the day before I walked in and talked one of the sales person over the phone. He told me I could bring in the headlights I bought which was less than 6 months I could bring them in. I went in and I told the Manager Bryan (I think that was his name) what I was told over the phone and of course he gave me the look like whoever it was shouldnt have done that. They tell me the bulb has a 1 year replacement for manufacture defect and when the bulb burned out or went out the warranty does not cover that. I bought the bulb Oct 30. That is 4 months, at least the bulb should have lasted longer than a year. He tried looking up my information in the system by my phone number...and of course its not in the system. I know it should be because I have bought items from there before. So he could not do anything for me or even tried to offer any other help.

This store has improved under new management, however the quality of the parts they offer has continually suffered for several years. Roughly 50% of the parts I have bought in the past 12 months have been substandard or unusable.

Cheapest parts Ive been able to find on a 91 gmc and the guy James Crawford that works there is awesome!!!

Am a die hard advance customer and former employee. I have never been so angry in my life. The staff at the lenoir store save one or two are uncaring and unknowlegable, extremely shovanistic and just down right rude. The general manager is even worse. I refuse to go there, it is definitely worth my time and money to drive to Granite falls or morganton. They refuse to help women and if they do it is in a belittling demeaning manner plz plz plz avoid this place

I wouldnt go to this store if you actually expect to buy anything. They ignored a line full of people completely for about 20 mins. The employee even came up front but never acknowledged anyone. We all eventually had to leave and go elsewhere to buy our things. There also was a female employee that i guess was on the phone that you could hear very loud complaining about a bunch of people. She then took a phone call in front of everyone and told someone that there were a bunch of people waiting up front but then she left. I think everyone should go to Napa where there is no wait time and a bunch of very friendly employees waiting to help!!
