For you boaters that are looking to upgrade your outboard motor and/or replace one, I drove from Lake of the Ozarks, MO to this shop in TN to have them install a replacement motor on my 522 Ranger bass boat. They did an absolutely wonderful job and sold me an awesome replacement motor for my bass boat. They will meet your outboard motor needs!

I purchased (3) outboard engines from Joe Stocstill on 7/6/2021. All (3) engines showed up to my dealership damaged. After multiple attempts to contact Joe Stocstill to discuss remedies going forward not once did he ever reply. I was simply given the run around by one of his employees for a month whom indicated that Powerstoc had initiated a claim with FedEx, however, that turned out to be completely false. After initiating a claim with FedEx in August they performed an inspection/investigation and denied the claim due to the negligent manner in which Powerstoc crated the engines.The Fed-Ex denial letter stated specifically: It is the responsibility of the Shipper (Powerstoc) to package products in a manner that allows them to withstand the normal hazards of transportation. This would include making sure that the packaging used is sufficient to handle the weight and dimensions of the products being shipped. As such, we (FedEx) find that the merchandise was not properly packaged for transportation, which is considered an act or default of Shipper (Powerstoc) for which FexEx cannot be held liable.To add insult to injury Powerstoc did not insure the engines with Fed-Ex for the $14.4k I spent with them. The engines were only insured by Powerstoc for .50 cents per pound which would have only amounted to $350 per engine if Fed-Ex would have approved and paid the claim. Each engine alone suffered over $2500 of damage that I am left with to deal with.Prior to the purchase Joe Stocstill indicated the engines would be completely serviced which turned out to be totally false.Almost 3 months have passed and I still havent received the proper documentation required by Powerstoc to title the outboard engines in the state of Oklahoma. Numerous request have gone unanswered.I have never experienced this kind of poor customer service or attitude in over 30 years of doing business. The funny thing is I had purchased a bass boat from Joe Stocstill prior to this sale with no problems at all. Joe answered the phone every single time I called him prior to this sale. Once a problem arose he simply shunned my calls and emails and had nothing to do with me at all. If you read the other Negative comments it seems to be a pattern that Joe Stocstill is a great guy until you have problems with something and then you get shunned.I have had to retain the services of an attorney and file suit against Powerstoc which will be time consuming and expensive to say the least. At this point it is all about the principle and not the costs.

I purchased a Ranger 520VX from PowerStoc. These guys were great. I got on the lake for the first time and could not keep the boat running. Call Blake at home after hours. Blake and his partner got me going in no time. I forgot to check the oil. LOL. They told me I could call anytime. Love the boat and the service. I highly recommend Powerstoc. And thanks again!!

I purchased a boat from Thomas Wiggington and got the shaft.The boat wouldn’t shift to toward in the water.He wouldn’t even try to get me help even though he said he would guarantee it to work.A man is only as good as his word, and Thomas’s word isn’t any good.

I purchased remanufactured 175 pro xs from powerstoc in February of 2021. I had the motor shipped to Wisconsin and installed by the local shop I use. I couldnt use the motor until our river thawed. The first time I put it in it did not pump water, I messaged Joe from powerstoc immediately and received no response. I took the motor back to the shop and they replaced the impeller. The next time I made it out the motor gave an overheat code as soon as I got up on plane. I pulled the boat back out and took it in. I messaged Joe from powerstoc again and this time was able to get a response. He said he had never seen anything like this and told my local shop had likely burned out the impeller. He basically told me he was not liable for any issues with the motor. This is when things got a little heated between us as I was rather upset he had sold me a motor that did not work. At one point he told me he would sue me if I gave him a bad review. Turns out the issue is 100 percent on Mercury as they put a faulty powerhead on the motor. It will be warranties out, but it is now almost June and I still do not have a motor.I was not impressed with Joes customer service. As soon as the sale was done he wanted nothing to do with me. He has told me he would look in to things and did not get back to me. Would not reccomend shipping a motor from powerstoc.

Powerstoc is an amazing company to work with. Joe took great care of my boat motor needs with a hard to find Mercury 225 Pro XS with very low hours. Purchased the motor and had it shipped part way across the country. The motor arrive in less than 2 days from payment! I would highly recommend Powerstoc to anyone looking for a outboard or marine service. Keep up the outstanding work Powerstoc!!!

I’ve been shopping for years looking for a Mercury 250 pro xs to fit my 2001 Champion. I was reluctant to just grab a cheap deal, not knowing how I would be treated by the individual seller or dealer.But my patience paid off when I found one being offered by Joe Stocstill at Powerstoc. Even after I missed one that he offered previously, he was willing to take the time to offer me a deal before posting another one and gave me the first chance at it. That’s the kind of person I like to deal with.And the service, that I was provided by his crew, was second to none. And they were willing to answer all our questions and even offered suggestions and details of how to service and maintain the newer one. Joe is as straight forward as they come! I can across his company by a Facebook page that I’m a member of, about 2yrs ago. I was in need of a new or used power head for a boat that I purchased from a private seller, that got over on me. I called joe and told him about what happened. He not only gave me a unbelievable deal on the power head, he even paid for shipping on his dime. I’ve had the power head on for about 2yrs now and no issues at all! This year Prostochad a boat that I had the right price color and model that I was looking for. I called Joe sent the deposit. Joe was there every step of the way sending videos of the boat running on the running hose, and also of the stress cracks ( very few). I don’t know any dealership that has this type of service. I live in middle N.C and travel 16hrs round trip to do business with Prostoc and I will continue to as well!Thanks Joe

I wish I could go lower than 1 star. Absolute joke of a business and only in it to rip you off. The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The owner is low down and unwilling to help with anything. I wish I had of never bought a boat from here. I will certainly never be back and I will tell EVERYONE I know to steer clear of these scam artists. Left me with a big hole in my pocket and refused to help any at all. Literally said “I will be doing nothing about it.” I hope enough people see this or see it in time before they purchase from here. Please save your time, hard earned money, and dignity and just go somewhere else. I sure hope this business goes under for the way they treat their customers. They deserve it.

My buying experience! After getting the boat home and to my local shop everything that they said checked out! Unfortunately I lost a tire and lugs about 20 minutes after leaving, they finally did reemburst me for the lost tire,wheel and lugs however it was after a disagreement on Facebook! I will say overall Shane seems like a good guy and they seem to know what their doing! Positive buying experience!
