I highly recommend MacArthur-121 Tire & Service. We have been using them for 30 years. They are very honest and have fair prices. They have always treated us with respect.

Great personable service. Marcus treated me like family. As an independent Goodyear shop, they take great pride in their interaction with their customers. I observed smiles on other customers witnessing my interaction with Marcus.

I use Goodyear MacArthur Tire & Service for oil changes as they are one of the authorized locations through my warranty. Even with the $35 credit through the warranty I ended up paying over $50.00 which is slightly lower then I would pay full price at Wal Mart. As for regular service work, I got quotes on replacing my spark plugs in both my cars and the quotes were on par with other mechanics.That said after the warranty is over Ill go else where for my oil changes as they are pricy for that service but will definitely consider them for traditional mechanical work.

This place is fabulous! My dog couldnt be left home alone after surgery, but I desperately needed an oil change. I called ahead and they let me know they are dog friendly! Thank goodness - and everyone was wonderful with this sweet old lady while she watched the world go by. Service is great, they never try to upsell you services up you dont need, and theyre dog-friendly. Plus they have a cozy waiting room with outlets and wifi if you need to work. What more do you need?

Spent 2 hours trying to get keys only there was no key in the lock box. Had to go to a different location.

I was passing through the area and my Ford F350 w/ the 6.blow decided to bust another oil pressure sensor and I puked most of my engine oil out before I could pull over. I knew exactly what was wrong and am a mechanic myself but was 70 miles from my tools. They graciously rented me the tools I needed and even sourced the part for me and allowed me to go fix my truck on the side of the road. YOU DONT FIND THIS KIND OF GENEROCITY ANYMORE. They could have told me no, tow it in if you want it fixed but their professional courtesy was phenomenal! Thanks guys for saving my day!

Sure its a recognizable name, but the staff and management at this Goodyear have a friendly, neighborhood attitude. Marcus crew does their best to analyze your auto problem and give you an honest appraisal without stiffing you on the price. A courtesy ride home -- and return pick-up-- are nice features, too. I have been a customer for at least 20 years. They service all three of my cars. Its my cars home away from home.

Came in after they closed yesterday and John was kind enough to turn the air back in for me and put my spare on for me while I was dealing with a very hyper 4 year old whom he was also very kind to. This morning they replaced my tire again and it was quick and they were just so kind and went above and beyond for me and I so appreciate it.

If I could give a no stars I would.My husband was a loyal customer at this location for over 10 years so he was confident in their abilities when it came to our vehicles.We took my Ford Escape there, it was not starting properly. They couldn’t find the problem however gave it a turn up. After we got it back I started smelling gas and the engine light was coming on. My husband took it back they said it was sending a miss fire. It was never fixed but we paid over $2000.00. We moved to Florida a month or so later. I drove the car from Texas to Fl with the check engine light on and a extremely bad gas smell. We took it to a dealer here in Fl, it was the work this place originally did, the spark plugs were not tightened. It cost us another $2000.00. My husband emailed them no one bothered to reply.

It was good like always. I had been taken the car to that shop for 3 years they always do it right. I recommend.

Marcus has a great team working with him. Eric pretty much always works the front desk and remembers you on a first name basis! Great service on auto repairs and maintenance... They have a lot of services outside of regular oil changes and tire swaps, like suspension and engine fix and diagnostic stuff. As such they can get a little slow (1 to 2+hrs) on basic service like oil changes because of so many jobs in the pipe, but its quality service. They can drive you back home or wherever if you cant wait there at the shop. Highly recommend.

These guys are the best. I’ve used them for a few years now for all our cars. They are honest and give you unbiased advice. I had a problem with my tire and was willing to pay for whatever needed to be done. They took the car then told me, after looking at it, I most likely had a warranty at the shop I had bought it at. In fact I did, I had forgotten. Long story short they saved me $200.

One the best service I have got my car broke down and they fix it and come to pick me up on the middle of way. Joel is the one of great worker in this place. He have a such a good heart. That day if he didn’t help me out I was stock in the middle of way.

Ive been going to these guys for more than 25 years. Marcus runs a top-notch shop and its always very clean and the staff is always friendly and professional. They also dont rip you off! They do excellent work for a very fair price. They are definitely my go-to place for great car care.

I’ve been taking my cars here for over 10 years. This is one of the best businesses I have ever patronized. The staff is skilled, friendly, communicative, and ethical. I’ve had everything done from oil changes to major engine work and they have always diagnosed the problem quickly and competently, given a fair price, and completed the work successfully. I think all of that is great, but one of the best parts is just how nice they are. Genuinely kind. I think Marcus must hire very carefully because every staff member I have worked with is thoughtful, and really cares about their work.

02/2019: I received great service here after trying 2 other local Goodyear locations that were awful. They were friendly and the service was quick. I will definitely remain a loyal customer to this brand and store!09/2019: I returned to this location this past weekend and received convenient, quick, and excellent service. Went in for a warranty service on a Saturday. Even though they were busy Eric took the time to look into the warranty issue. The tires were not available but he placed an order for them and was delivered in 4-5 business days. Went in for the install on the following weekend. Got all 4 tires replaced in little over an hour. Eric also worked directly with corporate Goodyear warranty department on the claim and got it all approved. He was very professional and courteous. Even with road hazard warranty he clearly stated that it was optional. Was not at all pushy. Overall a great experience with Goodyear warranty and this location. Highly recommend!

I go here for nitrogen for my tires. Theres not a lot of places that sell it. There usually isnt too bad of a wait time. The wait room is kinda small but u wont be there long.

What a Great Experience!! I found the Goodyear at Macarthur and 121 to be very fair and trustworthy! Not all shops treat woman with such respect!! They fixed my Old Blue truck very reasonably!! They are very customer service oriented with that small town friendliness that you just do not find in the city very often!! Thanks Guys for a job well done!! I would recommend this shop!!

Bought 4 new tires and was told they would balance them at no charge... and it would all take 1 hour.. so my daughter took the car in at 2:00, at 4:00 (when she had to leave) they said they were just about to start the alignment which would take about 30 minutes... so we had to take it back another day... well that day was today. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT for 12:30, dropped the car off at 12:20 and arrived back to pick it up at 1:50.. 1 1/2 hours later.. they had not even started it. So if you choose to buy tires from this location, dont buy the crap about FREE balancing/alignment as this is a service they really do not plan to do. Would never go back to them and I calling Goodyear as well. I know these are franchised but using the Goodyear name should stand for better service.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon to get my car inspected. Was in and out in under 30 minutes. We had stopped by 4 different auto shops that day, each telling us it would be an hour or longer wait. Very pleased with the quick and friendly service.

Brought my car in for an inspection and an oil change. Received a total of three calls (2) informing me of other things they offered to do add unto my bill and (1) to finally report to me that services were complete. This was my 1st time here so I asked the gentleman that called what time they closed and he responded 10...then I repeated it just to make sure...10pm tonight? And he said, yes, 10pm tonight. Apparently who ever called made that up because I arrived at 8:30pm and had to knock on the side door and stand in the cold going back and forth with 2 guys about me picking up my car and one of their associates saying 10pm was closing time. These 2 guys were not going to give me my car and allow me to check out and also asked me if I had cash on me....really??? I explained to them it was not my fault the wrong time was given and that I would never show up to a business after hours (that would make zero sense, especially since I received a ride there). A third guy walked up and said he would take care of my check out so I could get my car. $120 later I checked out and walked out to my car and as soon as I get in it Im immediately hit with the overwhelming scent of cigarettes. My car smelled like a group of smokers go together and sat in my car and smoked. So now in 56 degree weather I had to roll all my windows down and blow my a/c on high to breathe in my own car. I have never smoked a day in my life and the scent of it chokes me up...now my babys car seat I have in my car is drenched in cigarette smoke (health hazard for my infant). Im highly disappointed in the way I was treated when I went to retrieve my car and severely frustrated with the cancerous cigarette smoke residue left in my car that my infant and I should not be forced to breathe in. Very unprofessional and I will NEVER do business here again and when my friends, family, coworkers, and perfect strangers ask me for a referral to an auto shop I will be sure to tell them of my horrible experience so they choose a better place than I did.

Ive only trusted my vehicles since moving locally 3 years ago with Mac121 T&S. I recently brought in my mint 2006 Audi S Line. Engine light went on I checked the code myself. Then brought the vehicle in and provided the code. They kept it for 6 hours I was then called with the suggestion to take it to the dealer:. I was then charged for a diagnosis which did I did not agree with. I called Marcus to share my story .He was understanding of my concern .Long story short, Marcus did a great job explaining and we agreed on mutual loyalty . My advise is to take your vehicles to Mac 121 Tire & Service .Mark Vando

Do not work with these frauds. After receiving a quote for 8 hours of labor maximum the manager and owner informed me that the charge would be a maximum and minimum. So, if the job takes 3 hours they will charge me for 8. This is ethical and how everyone does it. I had spoken with two previous technicians that told me they couldnt know how long it would take until they take the car apart. Seems a little unethical to me. I realize a business needs to make a profit but two other shops quoted me 2-3 hours less. Also, the used part they are selling me is available for $150 less from 3 RETAIL outlets. How can a part cost so much more at a shop that a retailer? No thanks, Marcus. Rip someone else off.

ZERO STARS! DO NOT GO HERE! I recently purchased two tires from this Goodyear location (which by the way have worn twice as fast as any tire I have ever purchased). A few months later i get a flat tire. When i go to take the tire off the car, the lugs have been tightened so tight that 3 (yes 3) mechanics used their impact guns and could not loosen the lugs! What if i were to be stuck on the side of the road and need to use the spare?! i would not have been able to do anything with lugs that were tightened way too tight! This is unacceptable and cannot be ignored. Tighten the lugs with a torque wrench, loosen with an impact wrench. That is mechanic/changing a tire 101. If this good year location cannot get this simple process correct, imagine what else they could be messing up.

I went here front wheel repair...there is noise coming from front ... after checking mechanic told me it will cost me$ 1700 dollar n same job i did for 500.00 other shop. so u can figure out if this place is good for ur car or not..

I had a car with expired tags because it wasnt being driven so I came here for an inspection. The person at the desk told me I would have to pay for 2 of them because they were so expired; this was confirmed by his manager. They didnt seem to know how long it would take either. He ballparked an hour when I was in the store with one other person and their bays were open. I googled if its true you have to pay for 2 inspections in this situation (duh to me: of course not). I left, went to another place, and got the inspection plus an oil change in less than the original quoted time.

The people here always take great care of my car. They have great prices and the service staff always has a good attitude.

I began using this Goodyear about 8 years ago. At first, it was used only for scheduled maintenance of a company vehicle. Our personal vehicle was serviced and repaired at a dealership or at another full service tire store. On occasion, the Goodyear would need to perform minor repairs or replace tires on the company vehicle. As time passed I concluded that this Goodyear store, which is locally owned, was much more up front than the other repair facility and less expensive than the dealership. As the personal vehicles got older (and out of warranty) and the company vehicle was exchanged for a personal vehicle, more service became necessary. We decided to utilize Goodyear-MacArthur 121 more. I have been extremely pleased with the service, honesty and attention to business demonstrated by this store. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of tires, service or maintenance of their vehicle.

This company does not deserve any stars. I came for a tire change after a flat. I drive a Jeep so the spare is in the cargo area. They fix my tire for $50 (ridiculous), and I leave unsuspecting of anything. I go to get some things out the back when the weekend comes a couple of days later, and I realize not only are all my brake lights broken but by door handle is broken as well and my door wont open. Some idiot let my back door slam shut because it does not have a holding hinge arm. I go the shop to confront them, and these idiots ridicule me and the owner laughs at me because I am upset about my car. They then leave me outside and close the garage doors in my face. I hope they go out of business. My jeep is older but always very reliable, but I guess this gives them an excuse to disrespect my and my vehicle. I am repulsed, and I promise with the money I save using my jeep will be used to sue them for their negligence.

Good Honest Place. Weve had a 2002 Nissan Xterra fixed here a couple of times. Everything has been different and normal wear and tear parts on a 16 year old SUV. These guys are knowledgeable and know how to fix things without a bunch of trial and error nonsense. Each time I talked to them they knew I was checking prices elsewhere and never gave me attitude. I was nervous at first because I think of these places as oil and tire places but they changed out the timing belt about 30k ago and Big Blue runs like a Beast!

DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!!!!!!!!!Did that get your attention? I wouldnt suggest using this location to anyone. They ended up stripping out the drain plug and told me that it had been stripped before I got there so I ended up leaving with a rear axle that was only half full of fluid. They told me that I needed several things including a new transmission, all 4 new tires, and all new suspension components. They even had the audacity to price out all these items when I simply had gone in to have an rear axle fluid change done (I had just had surgery so I wasnt in any shape to do it). The funniest part is that I am an ASE Master Mechanic and the items are all in good working condition, the tires have over 24/32nds left on them. I called them out on it and they didnt seem to care. I talked with the district manager and he stated that these were all suggestions as to what needs to be addressed and since I ended up fixing their mess up myself, I wasnt able to get reimbursed at all. Seeing as how I have told the highest level of employee about this continual abuse of customers, I am confident that their company model is terribly toxic. Dont use this store, even if you have a coupon.

The older man with glasses at the front desk was pretty rude. I asked him if my truck was finished yet and he gave me attitude and said in an impatient/rude tone were busy right now, just sit down and wait, itll probably be out in a few minutes. I said okay, but the other guy promised me itd be done within 40 minutes, and its been 40 minutes. Otherwise I would have gone somewhere else where it wouldnt take so long (I was only getting ONE tire replaced)! The other man at the front desk with dark brown hair was nice but I could tell he wasnt giving me the best deal by his mannerisms. I paid $30 less for a brand new tire right down the road about 2 months ago when a different tire needed replacing. This place lost my business completely, I wont be coming back again.

Where do I start...have you ever just needed one thing fixed and gone to this shop? Only to turn around and find something else within a matter of a week or 2 and the cycle just keeps going, but to your to your recollection you havent had that many problems with your car and wonder what king of bad karma is going on. Well I finally dicided, I have had enough because I just started wondering about this place. I took my car to another shop for a simple oil change while there they were doing a full check of my car which I asked for, dont get me wrong. I was taken to my car so I could see it with own eyes, a freaking screw in a valve on the supercharge. And yes I know it was this place, because ever since I moved here it was the only place I had taken my car and where they did head and valve job on it. Also prior to them doing that job I had a check engine light took it there so they could fix it it was for the 2nd fan on, so of course the work gets done I picked up my car after only to turn around the following morning with the check engine light again. So this time the master mechanic works on it for 2 days and yes I got charged gain because he did electrical work on and no I did check because I was trusting but I have learned my lesson well. Needless to say I was told you couldnt tell and that the work was very professional. What they should have called it was the mickey mouse job. So it is with a disgusted feeling that I warn you out there specially if youre a female check your car take pictures so this place doesnt do the same thing to you. If you still decide to do business with them. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!!!!!!

Needed a flat repaired and they said it would take 45 minutes. I didnt hear from them in an hour and a half so I came back only to see my car still parked outside. Their excuse? Its such a busy day! I totally understand, but they should say that when you first come so you can decide to leave it or take it somewhere else. Then they try to make you replace the tire. It doesnt even have 20K miles and it just had a puncture. I find them very dishonest and rude. Not recommended.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DESERVES 0 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Whatever you do, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your car, truck, boat, skateboard or anything with wheels here. Not only are these guys on the bottom of the UTI Mechanics School of Dallas graduating class, they also dont know anything about customer service. I brought my 2008 Mercedes in Saturday for a routine oil change. I only opted to go because the dealership was not able to get me in. After I called to confirm they had the oil filter in stock, I made my way to the store. Upon inspection, the so-called mechanic suggested I replace my air filter. Little did I know this would be the beginning of a disaster. Not only did I pay for the oil change and new air filters which cost just as much as the dealership ($155) but they also allowed me to drive off assuming the work was completed. Much to my surprise, I received a voice mail 2 days later to inform me that they did not replace my air filters, but I was charged for them. No apology. He sounded as if this was the way they normally conduct business. While leaving, my check engine comes on. Keep in mind Ive had this car for 6 years....and Ive NEVER had any issues! I keep my in immaculate condotion. Ultimately, the car had to go back against my better judgment. I cant comprehend why they feel I have enough free time in my day to babysit them while they fo their job. Ive heard horror stories about Walmart but at this moment they dont sound too bad.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
