TONS OR RUST UNDER THE BODY PLUS LEAKING TRANSMISSION AND MOTOR . THE SECOND HAD ELECTORAL PROBLEMS AND THE ENGINE RATTLED DURING THE ROAD TEST .SO I DID NOT BUY EITHER ONE .THEN BEING DISAPPOINTED AND LESS $600 TO CHECK OUT BOTHCARS . I SAW AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR A TIFFANY 1986 FROM GARRETT CLASSIC CAR SALES .GARRETT CLASSIC HAD OVER 40 PICTURES OF THE COMPLETE CAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM . THE PICTURES ALL LOOKED GREAT . I CALLED AND HAD THE PLEASURE OF TALKING WITH MARIS . MARIS ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL .BEING SATISFIED WITH ALL THE INFORMATION MARIS GAVE ME I MADE AN OFFER ON THE CAR . WHEN THE BUYER AGREED ON THE MY OFFER WE MADE THE DEAL .NOW COMES THE BEST PART THE LEMON SQUAD INSPECTION . THIS WILL MAKE OR BREAK THE DEAL . THIS WAS MY 3RD CAR INSPECTION AND IT CAME BACK JUST LIKE MARIS SAID . Garrett Classics is one of the few remaining mom and pop classic car consignment businesses remaining and their long standing business of selling older cars is a result of treating their clients with respect and honesty and obtaining the right buyer for the product. I first met Maris and Dave about eight years ago when I stopped by their former business on Mockingbird Lane to look at their inventory. Members of my car club recommended that I consider them for help in selling my 1971 Cutlass 442. That successful transaction which was brief and seamless was handled professionally and efficiently. Since then, I have sold one other car with their help and I currently have a 1979 Cadillac listed with them. If you are considering selling or buying a classic car, I cannot imagine a more straightforward and honest person to handled the transaction. Not sure why someone would leave a low rating without details. That is not helpful to others looking to buy or sell a classic car. After much agonizing over a decision to sell or not, I went to Dave and Maris to sell my 1969 truck. My truck was one of the first vehicles on their new showroom floor. I was amazed at the listing they did on eBay and how quickly they were able to sell my truck at the price I requested. They even lowered their commission to help get me what I wanted out of the truck. You dont see that every day. If you are in the market to buy or sell a classic vehicle, you can feel at ease working with Garrett Classics throughout the whole process. I am sure I will work with them again even though my 1969 truck was the third time I promised my wife that I was done with classic cars.

The Garretts sold a 69 Road Runner for me this summer and the whole process was top shelf. My ride was nice with many restomods and it was going to take the right buyer to appreciate it. The things that made the difference to me areThey detailed the car and took awesome pictures and videos to accurately represent the car.They called out any blemishes or notable items that any buyer would want to know. This is important for the both the buyer and seller so there are no surprisesThey took care of all the details so all I had to do was receive my check. The new owner loves the car and we communicate frequently. This is possible because the Garretts only deal in win-win deals. Ill never try to sell another car on my own and I would not hesitate to buy a car from the Garretts show room either.
