This is a good place to get dance shoes(ballet/tap) .The lady who helped us was very kind and made sure the shoes fit our kids.

We were excited to shop for our very first combo ballet and tap class! The staff at Suffolk is so very patient, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have the best and largest selection of quality dance wear for all sizes! We were able to get everything we needed for my daughter in one stop! Highly recommend this lovely shop!

I highly recommend this boutique! We usually go to Sandys because our dance school partners with them to order the right color for my daughters company dance teams. Today, I went to Suffolk because my daughter has a dance convention today and I found out this morning she was missing one of her Ballet shoes 🤦🏽‍♀️. Walked into the boutique with my daughter and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help (always a plus!). The young lady sized my daughter and brought 3 different shoes she thought might work for her. We found a perfect fit and when I inquired about clothes she took her time explaining where my daughters size was located in the store and the corresponding tag colors so they would be easy to find. Absolutely wonderful experience - I wish I had gotten her name. I highly recommend this dance boutique and will definitely be back for our dance needs!

The staff is very friendly. They just did not carry anything that was needed for TBT for girls in creative (3) ballet. I do recommend The Dance Shop in Fort Worth. They carry everything you need and at way better prices. Also I called Suffolk to confirm they had what I needed before driving all the way out here and was disappointed when I got here and they didn’t carry what was needed. Maybe have them actually check their inventory before making the drive.

This store is simply outstanding. We drove up from San Antonio for a pointe shoe fitting for my 14yr old. The staff is well trained and through,making sure my daughter knew all the details about each different shoe she tried on. Haven made sure my daughter had the proper shoe and made the appropriate customizations as well! We haven’t been able to find a proper store since moving from Indiana. even though this store is 4.5 hours away from us, we will continue to make the drive up in the future! The store is beautiful and fun to shop, with a extensive selection of apparel including Eleve and Yumiko. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this store and the customer service. Please shop this store and support Suffolk.

Staff is helpful and friendly. They have a large variety of pointe shoes and take the time to individually fit them. Also, I had heard they make the first-time pointe fitting a fun experience, and we were not disappointed. I would recommend taking your child during the day on a weekday, as Ive never had the huge wait time that people talk about.

My daughter received so much attention and care while getting fitted for her ballet, jazz and character shoes. There were so many varieties of leotards to choose from and there were lots of fitting rooms.

Students take a number to recieve Pointe shoe fittings, which is done well by the more experienced employees from their vast inventory on a sweet stage-like setting.Lots of gift ideas, all the basics, tutus, a sale rack, and eye candy to appeal to every shopper.

We love coming here for our Pointe shoes. The fitting process is great and informative. I love they will sew your ribbons for you. The atmosphere is great too. Definitely recommend.

They have a wide range of top of the line products. However, the lack of decent customer service will definitely prevent me from frequenting this store. My 17 year old went in to purchase several items, and was not even spoken to at all... very disappointing.

I love this store! I first went here to get new pointe shoes! The lady that fitted me did a very good job! She found a pointe shoe that made my feet feel so much more comfortable! My only wish is that they make a store/boutique closer. It is a very far drive, but overall it’s worth the drive.

While I was impressed by the store when I walked in, the customer service was horrible. I went for a pointe shoe fitting with my daughter. When we arrived a woman told us to take a number; we pulled 6. Nothing in the store told you what number they were on. After waiting an hour, I noticed a woman still waiting with #4 in her hand. I went to the front desk and asked if they could tell me what number they were on or estimate the wait. I was told it could easily be 2 more hours. Dear Suffolk owner, have the decency to communicate with your customers. Have someone telling people the wait....I would have gladly gone and had lunch and shopped the center for a while.And when the woman told me I might have a 2 hour wait, I handed her my number and told her politely we couldnt wait that long. As I turned to leave, she asked if I could go put my number back! Uh....then #6 would be in front of #12 on the spindle.Disappointing.

The best place in all DFW to get fitted for pointe shoes. The Suffolk staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to spend as much time as needed to find the perfect fit for your dancer. We have been a customer of Suffolk for many years and absolutely adore the staff as they treat us like family. My daughters also enjoy their wide selection of leotards. I highly recommend Suffolk!

I go there every time I need new point shoes or have to get fitted for new shoes cause they have the best shoes and will make sure that I am in the right shoe for me which has been a struggle specially at other stores. I always have great customer service and their people are always nice and easy to talk to when you have a question or problem. I will definitely continue to come to Suffolk for anything dance related because they have everything I need there and are always good to me!

My husband drove our daughter the 2 hours up from where we live (the ONLY dance store we had closed) for a pointe shoe fitting. She had been in Russian Pointe shoes for a while and her teacher wanted her fitted in a different style. Our 13 year old daughter said it was the best pointe shoe fitting shes had. The employee (sorry I forgot her name!) was patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I was unable to go and my husband has no clue what to look for. Our daughter trusted in this employees advice, she was listened to and not just brushed aside as I have seen many other stores do because of her age. She was fitted in a great shoe, and was able to con her dad into purchasing several other items! Yes, when a store is busy you MUST make an appointment or be willing to wait the hours. Otherwise, call ahead for an appointment. We absolutely loved this store and will definitely be back....just as soon as I make an appointment!

Daniel Reasoner is awesome in customer service. He was very helpful. Ive visited this store in the past and had a bad experience with him. I was shocked when I found out he was the store manager. I would expect more from a store manager / leader. Having Daniel Reasoner help out made it a good visit.

Suffolk Dance Boutique is the only store I will go to to get fitted for pointe shoes. Everyone that works there is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they make sure that you always leave with the perfect shoe!! They also have an amazing selection of leotards and accessories. I’ll never shop anywhere else!

Good place and friendly staff. However, the way you pick a number for trying shoes is confusing and needs work. Several people after us were serviced before us due to this. Not good.

Theyve got everything dance! Selection is fairly good but the kids selections are slightly lacking foot the larger sizes.

I recently got my first pair of pointe shoes from Suffolk Dance Boutique. I had so many questions, and the entire staff was extremely helpful. I will definitely be back!! :)

Two hours to buy simple ballet shoes for an 8 year old is totally unreasonable. I understand that being fitted for pointe shoes is necessary, but not ballet. I wish I didnt have to go back to buy tights that are required by my daughters dance studio.

I went to Suffolk in Lewisville to shop for leotards. No one greeted me, asked if I needed help, or even said bye. No one said anything at all to me. I was in there for a while. I even tried on a few leotards. I did not receive good customer service here. Actually, I received no customer service at all, so they missed out on this customer money.

Emergency trip here for my daughters point shoes. She is still growing and needs special shoes and these folks come thru everytime. Awesome, saved the day with time to spare!

Terrible return policy that they dont tell you about until AFTER your purchase. Owner was very rude and condescending to loyal customers. Very disappointing considering Ive spent thousands here over the years and have recommended them to many people.

Im always happy to take a trip out here because the leotard selection is pretty good and they have great pointe shoe fitters. Its a little far for me so if I know Im going in for a specific shoe Ill call ahead to make sure they have my size and a couple of sizes/widths around it in stock before I make the trip. They are always helpful and patient with that, which I appreciate because it is a long drive for me.For a small fee theyll sew the elastics on your flats and even switch out a cotton drawstring in a pointe shoe for an elastic one. As someone who started ballet as an adult and eventually progressed to pointe I was happy to have such experienced (and kind--which has made my fittings as an adult feel much less intimidating than I thought they would be since Im not a young teen with perfect banana feet) fitters with such a great selection in the area. I always recommend them to my friends who are just starting ballet and need to get all of the basics and a good pair of flats, who have been moved up to pointe work and want suggestions for a first fitting, or are way more advanced than me but may want to change shoes.
