The staff was friendly over the phone, helped us find what we were looking for and made for a good experience all around when we visited. We were prepared to pay a 20-30% markup on items compared to the bigger retailers, but many may not be ready to do the same.

As of 10/22/2020. Issue has been fixed. They took care of my issue and as I said I would, I have adjusted my review. Going from 1 star to 3. I did not receive a call when the issue was fixed and wasnt asked if it was satisfactory. But it was corrected none the less. 10/1/2020 False price, and price switching. Dont go here to buy instruments. Went to buy a guitar for my wife for our anniversary. She really loved it. The price was $119 on the tag. They only had the display model. It had dents and a few scratches. We didnt mind that. But when we went to buy it they said it was $139 instead of $119. Was told that they forgot to change the prices. They had that $119 price for a long time. The other guitars like it were also tagged at $119. I Was told that because of dents and scratches, they would give it to me for the $119 price. I paid new guitar price for a used guitar. What a con. If my wife didnt love it I would have left without it. This a great place for kids to take music lessons. The staff is friendly, the place is very clean and the teachers are wonderful. Mr. Aaron Ewing is an excellent and accomplished drummer. He has taught my son now for 4 years. He is easy to speak to, accommodating and helpful. He responds to emails quickly. Ms. Bonnie McCalvin is also an excellent and accomplished flutist. She has taught my daughter for 4 years as well. She is flexible and very nice. Both of these teachers are extremely talented. I am blessed to have them as my kids music instructors.

This place is only willing to be nice and be helpful to people spend in the big bux.I didnt need to make a large purchase today I just needed something small but I do plan on buying a very nice guitar in the next month and for this reason I will not be buying it from here... plus their corporate store

I have used this store for several years, but I was supper disappointed when i went to rent an instrument for my youngest daughter a barratone horn for $348. I ended up walking out with a disappointed child. Searched around and found Sam Ash offers the same rental for $199 that’s a big difference. I called to see if they can price match they were quick to say no, I will be taking my business elsewhere

Excellent service, always. Gets NYSSMA music for my kids. Bill does great job on repairs-- long time customer here.

This store is own by guitar center, but there prices are way higher. Would not recommend this store

If they didnt provide rentals, they would be out of business. The selection is horrible and over priced. Rental return policy is a complete rip off! Had 1300 in rental credit, but they would not let me purchase anything but a band or orchestra instrument and it had to be for more than my credit. Rental credit policy changes depending on who is at the front desk. The counter people are nice enough, but always seem to be frazzled. Horrible experience and will never return.
