Extremely nice people. I go get plants with my grandma every year and we end up having the employees approach us and help us find what we are looking for. Often times there will be multiple very kind people at a time finding and grabbing the best and most healthy plants for us. They are always a joy to talk with and will happily give you the time of day. They know there stuff and if they dont theyll find someone who does. I love the people there and the plants are always lovely.

Horrible customer service. The staff are so belittling. Every time I go I think to myself, oh they were just having a bad day and Im sure it will be different next time. But it turns out that every day is a bad day for them! Be sure not to bother the staff with a question! I love to support local businesses, but unfortunately I will be going elsewhere from here on out.

It’s tough because they have a great selection and you want to support a local business, but the staff is so remarkably unfriendly and demeaning it’s difficult to recommend. Two tips for a good experience: don’t ask where a product is located and DEFINITELY do not ask any ‘how to’ questions.

This nursery is very well organized and labeled. Finding what I wanted in a nursery has never been easier! They had large signs to mark the different sections and plant varieties. Their staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. All three staff members I encountered answered the questions I had about prices and plant varieties, and also offered great advice as well as personal opinions about which plants to buy based on my location, yard design, and gardening goals. I also liked that this is an IFA retailer.

I drive all the way from Salt Lake City to get my fruit trees here. I am not sure what prior reviewers mean by high prices. I easily save 50% or more on my fruit trees compared to Salt Lake County. I love this place. So many options

I went to get chicken feed in side the store. They have a great selection. The store layout is confusing, but employees are very helpful.Weve purchased some of their trees and shrubs and have been pleased.

Lots of options for your yard! Plus the workers there are so kind and helpful.Plus, baby chicks and ducklings were so fun to watch!

Great assortment. Higher prices expected at local company I am fine with this. You have a very high chance of getting treated like garbage with added condescending remarks to most comments and questions you make and your time is worth nothing as you wait to be loaded for gravel/bark.

Linden Nursey has a great selection of perennial, annual, tree and shub varieties at reasonable prices. I am amazed at all the other farm and landscape products they have. Their event facility is awesome too!

I gave two stars because the one young woman who checked us out seemed a bit nicer but when we came back a few minutes later for something we forgot, the other woman who we approached didn’t even acknowledge us and when we asked our question she didn’t even look up from her phone to tell us what we wanted wasn’t available. Zero attempt at engagement and customer service. I’m so sorry to the owners. I know you strive for welcoming, and clearly some of your customers get that experience, so that’s good. Sadly, it’s rarely been my experience when I’ve come in.UPDATE 4 stars:Im happy to report that things have improved at Linden Nursery. I’ve been to this IFA four or five times, and every time I go in so excited to be doing gardening stuff but I come out of there so disappointed. The prices are too high. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I’ll choose to go elsewhere from now on.

Ive always had great customer service at Linden Nursery. Heather is amazing and very knowledgeable. Theyre a bit understaffed right now with some longtime employees moving on to other opportunities. If you need one on one assistance, try going at a time when theyre not so busy.They make the extra effort to find a large selection of quality plant materials and price it reasonably.

Ive been coming to this nursery for years, and I truly appreciate the family that runs this place. They are always willing to help and to answer my questions. I would recommend them to anyone!

Beautiful nursery and a beautiful venue for a wedding reception.

I would give five stars for organization & selection of tools, materials, & plants. But Im not sure why the older ladies at the front desk still have jobs here. Ive been here 10+ times over the last few years & they are the rudest, grumpiest, most unhelpful employees Ive encountered at all the local nurseries. Every visit, no fail. Im honestly not hard to please - just dont act like you actively hate me when I walk in the store & were good! Ill still go here if I need to, but I choose other places with nice employees first 🤷

Fun store! Tons of fairy garden things, wind mills, wind chimes and other fun decorations. Also lots of farm/garden supplies and trees.

Every time I go here, I regret it. The customer service is awful! They are always so annoyed when I ask a question and just rude. They are never willing to be helpful and practically run away from customers if they see one approaching. Their plants rarely have a price tag and their prices are pretty high for what they are offering. I would gladly pay more at another nursery to be treated with respect.

Great for spring garden shopping!

My 76 year old Mom and I went to Linden Nursery today in search of Rose of Sharon trees. The selection of items available is to be commended. However, the customer service is literally the worst. The outside staff was fine, but the inside staff should be replaced. The women are unfriendly, not at all helpful, and for lack of better words...unattentive and rude. We purchased two trees and spent $235. My mother recently had knee surgery, and I am unable to help due to a bad back and shoulders. We were not asked by any employee if we needed help loading the trees. When I went back inside to ask if there were any plastic bags we could use it was quite apparent that the employee was highly perturbed as she tore off a bag from the roll on a shelf by the door, handed it to me and glanced at my mother as she struggled to lift the trees into our car parked in the handicap spot. Needless to say, this is the last time we will ever go to Linden Nursery as it will be to our advantage to drive further and receive helpful, friendly service. This was a very disappointing experience.

After years of patronizing this business, were finally going to call it and go somewhere else. Pro tips: Assume that everyone who approaches the cash register wants to do business with you. Saying, Do you need something? suggests indifference at best, and hostility at worst. Dont glare. Respond to pleasantries with something other than a scowl. Thank customers for coming in.

I always try to support local businesses instead of big box stores. But, after shopping here for years, Ill go somewhere else where employees are friendly and dont give side eye for wearing masks during a global pandemic.

Linden Nursery is AWESOME - we bought several plants and trees from them for our new yard, and one of our maple trees wasnt doing so great. And a long phone call, and several great email exchanges back and forth, with them looking at pictures of our tree and giving advice, Noelle personally came out to my home (20 minutes from their location), looked at our tree, and offered to deliver a new one free of charge. I would recommend Linden nursery to anyone, they really care about their customers.

Found what we needed. They have a larger selection of everything. It was nice to see different varieties of perennials.

Loads of plants! Maybe comparable to Cooks in size. Also a better selection of potting soil and planters to chose from.

If I could do no starts I gladly would. I’ve never cared to write a review but this is the WORST service I’ve had. I would gladly spend 300+ to buy from anyone else.

**Update, 14 Mar. 2020:Based on the response and emails from the owner, I am amending my previous review. I appreciate the personal attention and effort. It demonstrates that customer experiences are valued. We will try shopping here again.**Similar experience to others. The customer service is so sour so often that Ive just stopped going. Its far more worth it to drive to the IFA in American Fork, better atmosphere and more willing help. When my pregnant wife asked for help lifting things, she was helped but it came with attitude and eye-rolling.

You can probably pay less for a tree at the big box stores, but the larger selection and the increased knowledge make the difference.

I enjoy the people who work here. They are always helpful. I think they should offer classes. I purchase a majority of my plants here. Generally the quality is pretty good. I recently had the help of a employee named Ethan. He took the time to show me exactly what I was looking for. He recommended specific plants and when I decided on the plants I wanted he specifically chose the biggest and the best herbs for me. To date, this is the best service I have been provided at any nursery in Utah or Salt Lake County! Plant selection is literally the best anywhere. I have been to every nursery in all major populated areas. It in my opinion is a waste of time to go anywhere else!

Great people! Jared was amazing when I recently bought my first chain saw. He took the time to go over all the features and even demonstrated how it works. You cant get that kinda service at the big chains.

Did my wedding reception here, and my two friends followed. Love that it has outdoor and inside options for any time of year. Decorations are included and it already looks cute with a bunch of lights. Makes it easy and not so stressful

Ah, cant say enough good things about this particular IFA, well worth traveling to even if you have another IFA near you. There staff are fantastic. Patty is supper every year helping so many get there Chicks every year. The owners are just super good people and you wont find any better advice on tree purchases anywhere in the valley. The Crabb family and we support this business.

Wonderful place with a large selection of landscape options for any type of yard or home. Every spring they have baby chicks of different species of chickens, ducks and other fowl for sale. They also have fun yard accessories. The staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. They do a good job decorating for the different seasons and its fun to take the kids.

We like the Lindon Nursery. They have a very professional staff who is always willing to answer any gardening questions you might have. The store is very well organized and easy to find anything related to the yard. The kids love stopping and seeing the chicks and bunnies.

Awesome experience with Linden Nursery. Moved into a new build and needed lots of help! Heather designed an awesome layout, including a maintenance plan. I bought over 160 trees, shrubs, and perennials from them and only 3 perennials died (and they replaced them). Prices were great, even the delivery guys were very friendly. Special credit to Heather and Noelle for their excellent knowledge on all of the plants. Thanks!

I bough 1 pear, 3 peach, 2 nectarines, 2 plum, 3 apple trees and one small weeping willow type tree. All have done well except the weeping willow died and they would not help us with a new one. Besides that one issue, their stock seemed very healthy and the staff was very helpful besides the one weeping willow.

Ive had a pleasant and efficient experience each time Ive shopped here. Their animal feed is a bit more expensive than other stores but their location is convenient and their chicken lady has lots of helpful advice.

Great products and decent prices but every time I check out I’m met with a grumpy lady who seems offended to the very core of their soul that I interrupted their bookkeeping to buy something. If this had happened once or twice, whatever. But seriously every time I check out (8+ times) I’ve had a grump.

I am beyond furious. I called this morning and requested a load of topsoil. I was informed that it could not be delivered today - Saturday, September 13th, 2014. As a result I indicated I would call other places because I absolutely had to have it today. The lady on the phone told me to hold on, and then came back a moment later and assured me that she could actually have it delivered by noon. I verified that she meant noon today and she said yes that she was mistaken and that she did in fact have a delivery driver available today. I was thrilled, paid $130.00 immediately, and lined up all of my help to move the soil when it arrived.All of my help showed, but NO DIRT. At 5:00 p.m. she returned one of our many messages that we had left asking about the dirt and indicated that she failed to follow through and could she deliver it then. I told her I wanted my money back. I would not use this nursery if they paid me too. What an absolute scam. I am beyond disappointed, upset, frustrated and have missed my window of time to accomplish my project. I truly wish this place would go out of business since they obviously dont give a rats tail about their customers or clients.

I came in with a friend who was shopping for items for jus horse. The store is quite large and has a variety of items for pets, farms, gardens, etc.Didnt pay close attention to prices, so I am not sure if they have good deals.It was well stocked and clean. Fun just to browse around.

So Ive tried to call this place 3 different times as theyre sort of on my way home from work, on my 30 minute commute that Id have to leave a little early to get to before they close and they seem to never answer their phone and their phone system is a myriad of questions that all seem to lead to the same place, extension 101, which the mailbox is full and disconnects me. Id love to try to give them some business over a big box store, but they seem hell bent on not trying to win it. Im looking for a specific product that Im not interested in getting work and driving 15 mins out of my way to find out if they have it or not.

I have never walked into a store and been treated with such kindness, compassion, and care in all my life. I walked in on Christmas eve with a crisis on my hands. The coat I had ordered for my husband never came and the company I had ordered it from said it was no longer available. I walked in, half in tears, and a sweet lady that worked the counter helped me find an even better alternative than the coat I had ordered. She was sweet and caring and even listened to my frantic story.I will be returning to this store. They have a great selection and more importantly, a genuine concern for the well-being of their customers. These are wonderful people with only the best in quality for their items. You couldnt ask for a better shopping experience.

Love these guys. Patty, who works with animals, is very knowledgeable and considerate of animal welfare. When IFA issued a food recall that killed several of my animals, Linden Nursery contacted IFA and advocated for me. I also love their seed collection. I go a little crazy almost every time I visit.

It took 30 minutes for someone to help me find a bush i needed among their hundreds of bushes. They sent me on my own at first to look and didnt offer to help and then when I asked it took 20 minutes for someone to come and help me. This was early in the morning so they werent busy.

A part broke on my mower and I had little hope that I could find the part locally. I went to Lindon Nursery and they had my part. Jared filled a claim on the warranty for me and installed the part. There is nothing better than great customer service :) thanks Jared!

I know, I know....how can there be such a wide variation in rating choices. Its because that has been my experience with this business. The quality of their products, plants, tools, and materials is outstanding. The layout of the physical facilities and display of goods is truly exceptional. So, the conclusion I have come to is that while the physical plant is well managed, the concept of service is either poorly understood or has very low value among the owners. Perhaps none of the owners (being a family, I assume) want to take responsibility for saying, Look at our online ratings. We suck at service, at least in some peoples minds. We need to do something about that. Some of the specific problems have already been alluded to in other rating statements:1. There seems to be a lack of caring. People wearing the company logo have repeatedly walked right past me when I am obviously lost, or not able to find something. In fact, when I have actually asked for help, Ive often been told that so-and-so is the only one that knows about that or can perform that task, or whatever.2. Its fairly obvious that there is no particular systematic service available. No one seems to be in charge. There is sometimes a reference to someone off-site who wont be in until a certain time. Sometimes that person is called, but is not available.3. Associates are poorly trained. They often cannot answer simple questions about how a certain plant is best situated, protected, fed, or watered. One time, an associate simply pulled up the little plastic tag that comes with the plant and read that to me, ignoring my more specific question. Although there might be one, I have never seen a manual or reference guide to plant types, or groups of plant types, or anything close to a handbook or something like a Sunset Gardening manual.4. Associates appear to be involved in multiple tasks that have their immediate attention and they look around for someone else to help me. They do have intercom-based communication systems, but whomever they think can help is either busy or doesnt pick up.5. If they do know what you are talking about but dont have it in stock, they will offer to order it for you. But, you can tell by the casual way that they make the order that it will either be forgotten, lost, or take weeks to be delivered. Only my first name and phone number has actually been written down. What I special ordered was not intelligibly readable on the scrap of paper on which the rest of the information was located. I questioned that system and was told it would be ordered by an off-site person as soon as she would arrive that day. No other details nor even a guess at how long it would take. The price was not exactly known either. Itll be about $18 per plant, I think was the response. No money was taken and no formal paperwork was filled out.So, why do I keep going back? Because everything else is so good. Pricing is reasonable, everything is easy to find, and the store inside is really quite delightful, and they have a generous return policy. And, its close by. But, I dont go there expecting to the kind of service a business like this should be demonstrating.

We have know the Platt family, their children and nursery for over 20 years. Our first planting was 100 Lombardy Popular trees about 22 years ago. These reached maturity many years ago and now are at their age limit. They provided us the wind break we were seeking all those years ago. As they die off, we have replaced them with other stock from Linden nursery. Some key points: their products grow and last, helpful staff, great knowledge of their products. A shout out to Beca!
