Was referred by a neighbor for their value and quality. Checked out their sliding doors in their Lisle location. Took about six months to get our doors, due to manufacturing delays. However, the screens were also delayed. Decided to install without them.The installation was good, but some minor issues such as missing bumper and alignment of door which made it hard to open.Fortunately, Window World followed up stating screens were available. They installed them first thing this week and address the issues we had with doors.Overall, we are happy with results, despite the minor hiccups. We will definitely use them again in the future.

The two (2) man team showed up on time on the designated date. Installed our new custom patio door in about half a day. Put down tarps to protect our newly finished floors. Only negatives were the lead time on the door (4 months) due to COVID of course and the standard door handle is pretty flimsy. I thought we were getting a different type but we’ll see how it goes.

What an amazing company and even better people!! 12 years ago I had windows put in at a condo we own and they are still beautiful. We had a small issue with a window not staying open and we weren’t sure if after all this time we had any means of getting them fixed. Not only were they responsive to our situation the OWNER put the service call on his schedule since his tech was out of the country and we needed these fixed before a real estate closing. Owner comes out and fixes the issue in a few minutes and doesn’t even charge us for his time and labor. What an amazing experience and he even stayed and chatted for a while with us. Genuinely a nice person and you could tell truly cares about his customers, business, and people in general. I highly recommend using them for all of your windows etc needs. America needs more companies like this that stand behind their work and are responsive even when a big profit isn’t on the table.

The true character of a company is how they handle an obstacle or when something becomes difficult! Rob and Window World did a great job of not only working us through the process of getting what we wanted, but also kept us in alignment with our HOA. They handled the process of getting us through all the processes and procedures that the HOA required. We had a problem that became an issue with our HOA. (Issue was not a Window World problem or issue!) ROB specifically, and actually everyone in Window World at this store I interacted with was incredibly accommodating and responsive! That issue was resolved by Rob and Window World in a professional and timely manner. I highly recommend!

Window world installed 6 new windows in our upstairs and the quality turned out great.

I replaced an old wood double door entryway setup with a new fiberglass single door + skylights entryway from Window World Chicago. I can’t be happier with the results. The house is flooded with more light during the day from the new windows, and a river of cold air that used to flow in from the old door is gone. We made a lot of exterior updates to our house this year, but the entryway door we put in was the single most impactful in terms of transforming our enjoyment of the house. While I had some pretty clear ideas of what I wanted, Joel helped substantially with his recommendations on what would look and and function best in that location. It’s been a month + since the installation (very professional and efficient) and we still couldn’t be happier. If I’d change one thing I might have upgraded the lock system on the door, but that really is a minor thing. Overall very happy with Window World.

Rob, Senior Design Consultant, came to show us their products and he was very professional. We were given everything needed to make a wise decision on a window. When our windows were manufactured, they were delivered and installed by two professional installers- Tom and Matthew. They arrived earlier than expected and cleaned up after the job. They also provided instructions on how to operate the new windows. We also had the opportunity to speak to the owner, Joel. Joel offered additional assurances that the job would be done properly. These guys are amazing! I was referred though a friend of a friend. I met with Rob who took the time to walk me through the whole process, choices and what install day would look like. He even came back out to measure when I decided to add another window. The was very thorough. As a first time home buyer and new to all this jazz it was very helpful.I bought windows in December and they installed in January. Not recommended due to weather but the install team was amazing! So kind and they tried to work as fast as possible. The whole process was impressive. I had some questions about the old windows along the way and they took the time to answer them and demonstrate what had been wrong. Best part, they clean up after they are done!It is hard to take windows out and but new windows in with out error. There happened to be a few, VERY minor nicks on a wall/corner that I let them know about. They fixed it right away.So impressed with every one I came in contact with during this process! From the sale to the office staff to the install team. EVERYONE was great! Thank you!

Salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly, made it easy to order the right windows. Windows came in when expected. Install team was polite and clean and efficient. Windows are much thicker and easier to use than our old builder grade windows. Windows are double hung so easy to clean the top pane. Would definitely use them again. Price was competitive.

These guys are great! My 90 year old attic windows needed replacement and were a very odd shape. I shopped around looking for both a good price and quality service--tough to find. Joel came out to my house, took measurements, gave me a quote and explained their service and company philosophy with no high pressure selling. The price was very reasonable compared to other companies--somewhere in the middle of my quotes, but I got the feeling that this company stands behind their product and takes care of their customers. Two weeks later Joel called to tell me my custom windows were in and that they could install them the next day. The installers took about an hour and a half, had me check their work and left the area clean both inside and out. I am super pleased with their service! The office called the next day to follow up on their installers service. I highly recommend them--this company cares about its customers!

Cost was reasonable, all expectations were met. We had 9 windows installed, with the rest to be installed at a later date. We had them installed 3 years ago, this year one of the screens came apart. They replaced it right away, installed the replacement from the outside while we were away. Great service and installation!I would recommend to schedule your window install in the spring or summer, late fall not ideal weather.

Joel, the general manager of Window World of Western Chicago, recently visited my Logan Square six-flat building to repair two windows. I am extremely satisfied with his service. I had read various stellar reviews of him and his company and decided to contact him. He responded quickly to my e-mail messages and was friendly and very professional every step along the way. The windows work perfectly now. Although the windows were installed for my father over a decade ago by a different Window World location under different ownership, and I could not find the paperwork for the job, Joel insisted on doing the work for free. And this in spite of him spending at least two hours for travel and repair time. I recommend Joel and Window World of Western Chicago to those in the Chicago area who plan to have any type of windows installed in their house or building.

Quality work. They have installed both my windows and patio door. One of their installers tore part of our awning during installation (while we were gone) and admitted the mistake instead of hiding it. That’s honesty you don’t get everywhere. This was probably the easiest home remodeling job I have had done. It was that easy because the Window World employees are professional and very good at their job. My patio door and surrounding framework look better than it has for 20 years. If I had one complaint, it is that I cannot think of anything to complain about.

Highly recommend them!!! I was trying to replace a triple casement 9 Ft x 3 Ft window with a LARGER 9 Ft x 5 Ft Three lite slider window. Tough to find a window company that would do the construction to make the window larger. Most window people only are “replacement window” companies. Window World does construction too. My salesman Robert Breymeyer helped me decide that a triple slider window has way less frame on the slider than a casement, plus it was less expensive. It only took a few weeks to make my custom window and they sent Sylvester the Installer. He was so corteous, so cautious, extremely clean and thorough. He insulated around the window and did an awesome job with the mill work and caulking. I’m extremely thrilled with them from my first phone call to the completed install. I give them a perfect 10.

I had 9 windows replaced in April 2019. The salesman Rob was one of the best I have dealt with for buying windows. He was very precise and gave us a good price the first time. I was looking for good windows at an affordable price and I believe I got what I paid for. I had purchased 5 windows from Window World 5 years ago for upstairs bedrooms and they really held up well. I am still very happy with those windows which helped make my decision to buy from Window World. I did have other estimates from Window Works which was way to expensive and Marvin, which were very good windows but also way to expensive. I purchased the 4000 series with low-e glass and argon gas with a frame upgrade as I did on my older windows. I waited 2 weeks to be sure every thing was Ok before writing this review. We have had 2 storms with strong wind gusts and I must say they are working out well. The installers seemed very good and did a good job. Everything was cleaned up after they finished. There was a mixup on some materials and a few of the window sashes had some debris between the glass but talking to the owner Joel everything was straightened out quickly. New sashes were ordered and correct materials brought in quickly. New sashes will be here in about a week. Talked to several people in the office and they were very friendly and helpful. I even stopped by the office to take a look around. So far very nice experience. I believe I got what I paid for and very happy about it.I

After shopping around, I chose Window World mostly because of their reputation. Very quickly, they gave me a reasonable estimate. Because they were booked up, I had to wait awhile for the windows to be installed -- about a month, I think, but I was fine with that. They told me upfront about the wait. My installers arrived reasonably on time after battling traffic. They worked very efficiently in 90 degree weather. They were very polite and did an excellent job. They installed two garden windows -- on two floors -- in one day. They also scrupulously cleaned up after themselves. I have only two VERY MINOR complaints: 1.) When I bought the windows, I didnt realize the wood on the inside would be unfinished. Its no big deal but I wish it wouldve been made clear to be. 2.) After the installers had left, I notice that each window had a bit a schmutz on it, on the outside. It will be a challenge to clean that, especially on the 2nd floor. Still, I highly recommend Window World. Our windows look great.

Customer service was great. We had a problem and they replaced the window with no problem. The window install could have gone better. The first time the edge banding was a mess and the second time they destroyed three plants when they were replacing the window.
