This place has such a high volume of customers, there is no way the staff can possibly do the job they are expected to. The service is horrible and it is not the fault of the staff, it is CVS for not hiring enough people to work there. And yesterday while I was waiting for the drive through employee to help me, the speaker is telling me about a new service where I can shop for non pharmacy items at the drive through pharmacy. Are you kidding me? You are going to add more work for your already stretched to the breaking point staff. This is so typical of many companies these days. That is not what customers want. We want you to hire enough people to work there.

No one will ever write a good experience on reviews, only a bad, so Im here to say that this place was very nice. The employees all knew each other and seemed like friends. We went to check in for a minute clinic appointment, which in itself is enough to give this place a good review (that they have a minute clinic), and there was a man named Lucas at the kiosks that was actually running vaccines and still helped us, since they were all booked out he said that if I still needed a clinic there was one in the corner of target down Eldorado, he also was nice helping my grandma with the kiosks.

Can you give negative stars, because they deserve it. Ive been waiting for about an hour on the phone to transfer a prescription that is out of stock to a pharmacy that has his Albuterol... You know so that my two year old can breathe! This is just horrible.

Im giving them two stars since they are one of the only 24 hour pharmacies around. Other than that they really need to get their act together and hire a few more people. Prescriptions are never ready when they say and youll wait for an hour or more once you arrive.

WORST cvs ever. Wouldn’t even give them one star They never answer the phone. It took a month of multiple calls through the month to finally get a hold of someone I had to wait over a month for my birth control and the only reason I got something was because they finally answered the phone and gave me a different prescription because they were out of stock. Fast forward another month I’ve Been on the phone for an hour now with no luck. Now I’m driving up there to know when my medicine will be ready for pick up.

Literally the WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! They NEVER ANSWER PHONE CALLS!!! EVER!!! No matter what time of day you call… they NEVER answer. My specific medication can not be auto filled…. So I have to call in every month but this is the 3rd month in a row that I call and call and call wait for someone to answer for 30 minutes but NO ANSWER. I’ve even tried calling at like 11pm thinking there is no way they are still too busy to answer, but shocker still NO ANSWER. LITERALLY THE WORST. I’ve tried calling the front desk as well, but they’re no help. I’m over it. This will be the last time I use them. It’s going to be a pain to switch, but it’ll be better than this.

Devyn is the most unprofessional pharmacist I’ve ever encountered. Wait time for them to answer a phone call is 45-52 minutes. It shouldn’t take hours of my day to pick up an Rx, and there is no need for Devyn to be overtly unpleasant and rude to patients. She should offer the same grace she receives.

This CVS is the WORST PHARMACY I have ever been to!! They never have any medications in stock, the drive thru line takes 30+ minutes, inside there is a long wait, and they will cancel your delivery. I would not recommend ever getting medications filled at this location unless you have an hour to waste every few weeks on a prescription you take every day!

I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could, I went through the drive thru pharmacy on 8/26/21. The lady at the window has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever received! She was rude, was not understanding what I was saying and asked me “if I speak English”! I don’t normally ever do reviews, but this was so AWFUL! I was nothing but respectful to her, as I understand times are very hard right now. But that is not how you treat paying customers! Will be contacting corporate.

So it’s says you can come walk in to the Minute Clinic with no appointment and they will see you. Not the case here with us. Brought my daughter in for a physical and was turned away. The nurse Jennifer S. was completely rude and even after I showed her their advertisement on their very own website reflecting their walk in policy she still refused and told me to call corporate if I had an issue. She told me they were full with appointments yet after sitting there for 40 min I was saw three names drop from the list as no shows and nobody came the entire time we sat there. I have a PPO insurance and can go anywhere. We will never set foot in here again.

Little Elm CVS pharmacy is HORRIBLE!!!!! I agree with the others that this is the WORST pharmacy ever!!!! They never answer the phone, it always takes days to get a refill then when your prescription is finally ready and you go through the drive thru to pick it up, be prepared to wait a VERY, VERY, VERY long time - no matter what time of day it is. this is ridiculous. stay away, take your business elsewhere.

Over 22 minutes(now 30min) waiting for anyone to ANSWER the phone at pharmacy customer service. Worst cvs to refill prescription. Please add more workers so that they can pick up the calls.Update 1- i called back front store and asked for manager. I explained to the manager that I have been waiting for 30 min on phone. She took my name and number and said someone will call me back. Got the call 30 min later and the gentleman said my prescription will be ready by 4pm that they were in the process of getting it done.Update 2- Husband went to get my prescription at 6pm and they told him it will be another hour. WHAT??? You said it was being processed as we spoke!!! These people are playing with peoples lives.Please close this store.

Laziest pharmacy in existence. I sat on hold for 15 minutes trying to get an RX transferred to this location. I drove from Aubrey to here and sat on hold the entire time. As I walked in the store, I stayed on the phone. I saw 2 people sitting around doing nothing. Over the intercom was a notification stating that a customer was on hold. Nobody in the store, nobody in the drive thru. My daughter has a virus and needs meds, and was floored to hear my call on hold WITH notifications going off telling them I was on hold, and them just sitting around. Worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I would understand if there was a line inside, and at the drive through, but nobody was there. I haven’t read a single rating but honestly surprised they are at 1.9. That seems too high.

CLOSE THIS LOCATION!!! This pharmacy should be closed permanently!! They NEVER answer the phone and do not refill auto refill selected prescriptions like promised. You have to call to have filled and even when it shows processing on the app they are lying. They close at 8pm and some nights 6pm which does not reflect online. It shows the location closes at 11pm and if the store stays open the pharmacy depart should as well! My daughter got out of a major surgery and needed medications. The doctor sent over for them to fill at 2PM. I waited until 7:00 pm to call and verify prescription was filled since online it showed processin. I held on for 35 mins then decided to go up there only to find out they were CLOSED!!! they never called me to see if I wanted them to transfer prescription since they did have time from 2PM TO 8PM to fill it. This medication was called in for a reason!! My daughter needed it! So I drove to another location to 1-find out they were out of the medication prescribed so that’s most likely why they did not fill it. They should have called me while they were open! and since it showed “in progress“ the other CVS I drove to could not fill it!!! This was absolutely deplorable!!!! CLOSE THIS LOCATION!!! They do NOT care about people’s health and medications needed!!!! Absolutely horrible!!! On hold for over an hour for someone at the pharmacy. Tried calling multiple times also. We need our meds and can’t talk to anyone at this place. Why is it so hard to just talk to someone? Why are patients put on hold for so long? Some of us are very ill and need our medication.

Horrible customer service at the pharmacy! They dont try to help you. We tried to transfer prescriptions over to another pharmacy and it took over a day for them to transfer it. And they didnt even transfer the full file. They are simply horrible. I dont recommend them at all.

The late night/ overnight manager (lady w/ NY accent) is so pleasant and friendly. Additionally, I drive from Plano to shop specifically at this location due to outstanding service and store upkeep. It’s by far the nicest and most well managed store I’ve been in. Thanks for making CVS my favorite one-stop shop!

My neighborhood cvs. I’m not the person that takes the time to give reviews . I’m transparent and understand the obstacles that companies are faced with.I was provided the very poor service by an empty store. They made me feel uncomfortable to be there. CVS pharmacy was so horrible I was here from Minnesota and gotten sick so I had to go to ER of Texas they gave me four prescription and I went to cvs and lift the prescription at the drive thru and asked the young man could the fill my prescription because I was from out of state he said yes it will be ready in an hour just to be told that the driver thru person for one never put me in the system and after he put me in the system then to only find out they couldnt fill my prescription so I was upset and I took back my drivers license and insurance card and prescription and went right across the street to Walgreens and all of my prescription was filled in less then 10 minutes I will never go in a cvs pharmacy again Walgreens Walgreens got my business.

I transferred from my usual pharmacy because I had to pick up a script for my wife one time. I was pleasantly surprised with how well I was treated. They were out of stock but they not only checked around at other CVS locations but they even called one of their competitors to make sure they had it.

I have honestly never had a problem with this pharmacy. For those complaining about having to wait a while: yeah, they’re a busy store so the wait time is going to be a little longer. I went in recently and was having issues with a new prescription and the pharmacist (Sudheer) was beyond helpful, along with all the pharmacy techs.

Called the pharmacy and waited for over 20 minutes... no big deal. I dont mind waiting.However, the pharmacy technicians attitude made the entire call a waste of time.He was rude from start to finish. He sounded as if my call was an inconvenience to him. Like my calling to check on a prescription that Im going to go pay had ruined his day.Im a consumer... spending money... for a service which he is employed to carry out...If consumers dont use the service in which you are employed to do then you arent getting paid so I dont understand why he was so angry to take my money...Anyway, he was snappy from the moment he answered the phone. He seemed to have difficulty understanding me when I was telling him my birthday. He snapped at me after he asked me to repeat it because I was saying it too slowly for him. I slowed it down so he could better understand me.He told me he couldnt find my prescription. I explained to him that it was a refill so it was most definitely there. He got lippy again and argued with me. I told him not to speak to me the way he was. This made him more angry and he tried rushing me off the phone instead of working out why he wasnt finding my prescription. I asked him to be patient while I looked up the name of it since he needed the name.Upon looking up the name of my medication the technician had overheard my conversation to my husband about how rude he was being. I didnt use nice language but it wasnt intentional.The technician then started raving about how I just spoke about him. I apologized and told him I was speaking to my husband. I asked to speak to someone else. He told me no... I explained to him that from the moment we got on the call we have had miscommunication and that he had been rude. I told him I wanted to speak with someone else about my prescription. He said that there wasnt a prescription and that he wont let me talk to anyone else and then hung up on me.I called back the store to make a complaint to a manager and while doing so the automated voice said that they were processing a prescription that based off of the phone number I was calling on. Then I received a text immediately after letting me know my prescription was filled... So this means that man knew I had my script the whole time but was just being difficult because I had stood up for myself. Unbelievable.The only reason I had left 2 stars instead of 1 is because when I had called to make a complaint the store manager was very apologetic and professional. I know she is unable to do anything as far as the pharmacy is concerned but I appreciated her genuine apology.After these scripts are filled I will be moving my pharmacy to not just another store but another company as well.This is not the first time I have had someone in the pharmacy be extremely rude.

Horrible customer service, took calling 4 days to get in touch with the manager Juan concerning a job posting and he tells me they aren’t hiring when the CVS site says they are hiring for multiple positions. Every worker I talked to seemed to be clueless of his whereabouts which is odd being that he is the store manager. I would not shop with them terrible store, front staff, and management based on my experience.

Very slow service in store, and don’t even bother calling. Double check your medicine before you leave. I have had multiple issues where they have not provided the proper quantity or even the correct strength. Providing the wrong strength medicine has made me sick enough to loose productivity at work. The physician assistant was wonderful that I saw at the Minute Clinic. However, the pharmacy wait time was absolutely ridiculous. They were understaffed, took their time and the employees were not very kind or apologetic for the wait. I was extremely disappointed with my experience but rating 3/5 only because of how wonderful the doctor was.

Rating 0 zero Please do not go to the store they are horrible in a prescription certified pharmacist they will lose your prescription say they do not have what he doctor call they will find it never called to tell you that they don’t have the medication available and tell you that your pain medicine has to be ordered on Friday and you won’t receive it until Wednesday next week without any advance notice they will not transfer your prescription to another CVS that have the medication I am in severe pain and my prescription is locked up there system Horrible please do not go to the store for any reason... spoke with the store manager as well no help

The convenience of 24 hours is nice. As a healthcare provider I can pick up at various times. But on the days I arrive around 430p it is utterly chaotic. It has improved over the past 6 months, but it is still a wait.

Just came in to CVS around 12:15 am to get some thing for my child ..Walgreens sold it for a 1.50 cheaper. I Asked Carol the night manger if there was any way they could match Walgreens prices there competitor ..Carol said I will not price match Walgreens prices ..if you want there prices then I should get it from them ..WoW no wonder this place has such bad reviews do we not care about customer service any more ..calling out to corporate do you not care what your customers are saying and how there being treated ..its like they can care less what we have to say ..Carol needs to be trained how to deal with customers not my problem that you have to work nights ..I hope corporate starts to realize that they just not good business ..

Be sure to plan ahead. You will likely need a change of clothes, rations, water and a way to make fire. You will be waiting for at least 35 minutes to get your scripts. Don’t worry CVS, I took the day off to get my scripts.

Called at 1:30am to see if my husband could pick up my prescription that the doctor called in at 12:45am. Without asking my information the man on the phone laughed ....yes laughed...and said no there’s only one person here and it’s two hours to wait. I asked politely if he came and waited for the one bottle of meds if he could get it done sooner and he said no I’ll have to wait the additional hour.So glad the Cvs opened closer to me because I will never use this location again. I hope their managers handle these issues seriously.

The pharmacy at this location is the slowest pharmacy in the entire universe!!! It never fails that I wait in line over an hour for medication that is ready for pick up. I don’t understand how they cannot staff appropriately to assist customers in a timely manner. I’ve been here so many times and it’s always the same issue! To top it when I moved to this area I had to have the doctor resubmit ALLLLL of my fathers 10 prescriptions to the new location because they cannot simply transfer them. I am mind blown by the fact that one CVS cannot transfer prescriptions to another CVS!!! So frustrating!

Store is small because they used part of the space to build out a full service Urgent Care. Customer service is slightly below average in store but the Ugent Care doctors and staff are outstanding. What I love about this location is the 24 hour pharmacy.

I think CVS heard from all the bad reviews and are doing something about it.I went in to get my prescriptions today and it only took 5 minutes. There were EIGHT employees working behind the counter. That’s right..EIGHT! No longer just 1 or 2 employees.So if you’re in doubt, come back and try again. I think CVS is listening 👍🏻

I was visiting a friend in Little Elm whose daughter was sick and I wanted to come check up on her. Her prescription was here at CVS and we went all together to go pick it up and the pharmacy worker was god-awful. She was irritable that we were there and she was mad that she had to work. We have a very sick little girl here and youre having a bad day? Give me a break!Incredibly slow, rude and unjustifiably bad location. All of these reviews are so spot on with this location.

My dentist prescribed me Tylenol 3 (very common pain killer) for my severe tooth ache, I went to this cvs at 2:00 am in excruciating pain to pick up my prescription and the pharmacist (completely clueless, inconsiderate and rude) said that that was not a valid prescription because it didn’t indicate de miligrams.... I then drove to Walgreens in Preston rd and a real pharmacist was immediately able to fill up my Rx and was amazed that I my Rx was rejected at cvs. This store is filthy and the “pharmacist” was rude and completely useless, do yourself a favor and go someplace else if you need decent service

One of the worst pharmacy’s I have ever been to. Was visiting for the last three days to collect a critical medicine for my toddler and I was given different response each day and finally told on the last day that no pending prescription. Cannot trust this place anymore. If you need medicine on time or at least a proper response, don’t go this place.

I wish you could give a review worse that poor-fair. This CVS pharmacy has lost 3 different prescriptions. Doctors have sent the prescription over but because they tax faxes they lose them. By the time you figure out what has happened you have to now contact your doctor after hours to try and get the prescription sent again. The staff late at night is much better, but I will take my business across the street to Walgreens

Pharmacy doesn’t answer their phone and constantly under staffed. My doctor called in the prescriptions hours ago and they have yet to check their voicemails to fill the prescriptions. Went inside to drop off my prescription and handed the gentleman my ID, the order, and my insurance card. After some time he told me I would get a text when it was ready for pick up. I again tried to hand him my insurance card to ensure it was in the system and he told me “it’s already in the system, you are good to go”. The CVS was not busy at this time around 2 pm. I returned at around 4:30 pm to pick up my prescription and chose the drive through and waited about 20 minutes to get to the window. It was the same man from earlier only this time he said it would be $36 and when I tried to hand him my ID, credit card and insurance card he says “oh you have insurance?” I have to update your information but can’t do it while you are in the drive through so either come in or get back in line. You can see how upset I was since this was the same man from earlier! I ended up going inside and long story short it was $0 but took me about an hour to pick up my prescription! All because of incompetence employees who do not care about customers and make mistakes even though I tried to prevent it! This location needs new management and it’s clear.

Yes, you will have to go some distance but you make it up in the time it takes them to fill your order. Took a hour to fill and another 45 mins to receive my meds!! I dropped my prescription off at 11am, after my surgery . I was told 45 minutes. I come back at 3:15pm and my meds are still not ready. I was told 15 minutes, so I waited another 15 minutes and that turned into it will be another 15 minutes. So I left to avoid being labeled as another angry black person. I call at 6pm and my damn prescription is still not ready.. I was suppose to start my medicine at 4pm.. their service suck and they have zero consideration of customers time.

Wow these reviews are not surprising. My $3 coupon would not scan and I was told that I had to call corporate tomorrow to figure it out. Either they do not care or are not empowered to make a decision like this. The short overnight manager finally walks out from the back and says may I help you? Yes you can help! Absolutely terrible. My 3 year old has strep and urgent care kept electronically sending and resending the prescription. CVS kept telling my husband they weren’t getting it and everything on their end was working. When the nurse called to verbally give prescription they said that their electrical system was down and although they would take it verbally they couldn’t do anything until their electrical system was back up and they didn’t know when that would be. This is THREE HOURS after we initially tried to pick up he prescription and my husband waiting there two hours checking over and over. Why they could not tell us this so we could get our 3 year old’s medicine filled somewhere else ASAP is beyond me.The fact they would let a 3 year old suffer for HOURS and not tell us their system is down is so disappointing. This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. They are sloooowwww as hell, incompetent and rude. Ive been living in the area 13 years and this has been my pharmacy since they opened. I HATE getting my prescriptions filled here. Its utter chaos every single time. I always try my best to go to another location when I can but since this is the most convenient to my home, Im kinda stuck. Several times I have gotten phone calls telling me my prescription was ready only to get there and it was not. Even if I arrived the NEXT DAY. Several times, I have been given the wrong prescription. Several times Ive been given one of my prescriptions which is a compound and it was not mixed. Other times I have been told that they have my prescription in stock only to get there to pick it up and was told they had none. The pharmacy lines inside and in the drive thru are ridiculously long and none of the staff seems to care. If this location was a prescription only store that did not sell merchandise, they would have been out of business a long time ago. They are in serious need of an overhaul!

Literally the absolute worst pharmacy. I have been coming here for over a year now, and today is my last time. Every single time I come the drive through takes FOREVER!! Today I decided to skip the line in drive though and go inside for faster service since I have a screaming infant with double ear infection. Our doctor called this prescription in at 11am, it is now almost threee and they still have not filled it yet? Here I am waiting almost an hour for a prescription for my child. Awful awful awful. Do not use this pharmacy, unless you just enjoy wasting your time.

I had a large 140 lb dog (he’s in heaven now) he took tramadol that I typically got from the vet. The vet tech said calling a pharmacy like CVS may be cheaper and easier than me going to them every month (their office was kind of far but my boy loved them). The vet called in the prescription for my dog at this CVS location. The pharmacist made me wait for a very long time and they would peak over the counter at me and it appeared that they were whispering to each other about me. I started to feel uncomfortable when finally the tech came out and said the pharmacist didn’t feel comfortable filling the prescription. I asked several follow up questions and asked to speak directly to the pharmacist. She would not speak with me and actually left to avoid me. I wasn’t in any way angry, just confused because they were acting so strangely and my vet said they filled the prescription for other dogs many times without issue so the denial felt personal??? I’m not a big or aggressive person. I personally take no meds and am very healthy. I couldnt and still don’t understand why I was denied the prescription especially after being made to wait for so long. I also Found it very unprofessional that the pharmacist wouldnt speak to me and the tech was pretty rude and wouldn’t answer my questions she just kept saying “the pharmacist has refused to fill” in a condescending tone with each question. i wasnt Asking rude or leading questions but general I’m trying to figure out what’s happening here questions. I would Never use this pharmacy.

My patience with this CVS location has come to an end. I moved here from north Austin and that location was the best. This location is a bunch of clowns. I dont care when they say it will be ready, add an hour or so on top of that. If you go there in the early evening between 5-9 be prepared to spend an hour there. My wife and I get the same prescription every month, never charged the same price twice. I phoned in a refill by calling this location. When I showed up they looked in the computer and saw that it was filled at our old location, rather than fill it here and have the other location put theirs back in stock she laughed at me and shrugged her shoulders like oh well thats your problem. Time to try the Walgreens across the street.

CVS tracks returns (even if you have your receipt & pay cash). Their policy is not posted on the receipt or readily seen in stores. If they ask for your drivers license (particularly if you pay cash & have your receipt), dont give it to them. They are tracking your habits via a third-party vendor. Thats an invasion of privacy & deceptive (but likely legal).

This was an unfortunate decision to choose this pharmacy.I went to pick up my prescription and the new pharmacist BROOKE is looking the faces before she greets or say hello or hi, definitely very unprofessional service.After I Waited more than 30 she told me that I need to come back on September 10th to pick up my prescription because they out of stack and when I asked for the store manager, he told me there was nothing he can do it to help to get the medicine and recommended me to go across the street to Walgreens and did that and found out the big difference in customer service.

DISCRIMINATED at this CVS Store!I have just been discriminated at CVS Pharmacy Complaints on 423 and El Dorado in Little Elm. Never stepping in a damn CVS again. Absolutely ridiculous that this day and age were still being discriminated for whatever reason! its not the first time, but enough is enough!I didnt have my wallet on me with my drivers license, but luckily I had my Brazilian passport since I had to make a copy of it earlier. They wouldnt sell me a box with 10 measilly pills of Sudafed because my passport is from Brazil. They LIED saying Federal law only accepts US documents, when the FDA website itself says its not required. When I showed them the LAW they changed the story and said it was a CVS law. I asked if corporate policy trumps Federal Law, and their answer was Go to Walgreens Walgreens they will sell it to you, they dont care!Dear [way too empowered] CVS employees, this law was put in place to keep people from MAKING METH. If my nasal, completely clogged up voice and my non methy face arent enough for you to feel comfortable to sell me 10 pills, I will feel you are calling me meth head. How much meth can you make 10 pills anyways? From all the Breaking Bad I watched, it sounds like a lot more work than my congested head wants to do. This is a perfect example of red tape being used as a blindfold - blinding the employee so much, they cant even use common sense.Congrats, @larrymerlocvs, you just lost a customer that is an incredible networker. Im sure at least Brazilians in Dallas will think twice before going there.As your employee well reminded me, there is always a Walgreens across the street!

Incredibly slow service in the pharmacy. But I do empathize with the staff because it seems they are extremely overwhelmed with the volume of people picking up meds and the prescriptions they are trying to fill.

After waiting 45 minutes for 2 prescriptions that were already ready for pickup. I was told that I have to wait again for the pharmacist to update my coupon information in their system. I just went back the next day & started the process all over, again.As tried to down off a new prescription using the drop off only line & was told to get back in the first line & wait or just come inside because they were not using that line. No sign or cone to stop customers from driving up to it & waiting for nothing.
