I ordered the 9 Aspen vase. It arrived a near universal sickly pale yellow with none of the color depth depicted in the photo. The only exception to this being the black spot on the back that looks like rotting wood. This spot was flat, presumably due to the creator trying to sand it off, failing, and inexplicably deciding to sell it anyway. Not only was the product disappointing, but the website dishonestly chooses to only verify and publish positive reviews. I followed the link emailed to me requesting I review the product, but, due to my negative opinion of the product, it failed to verify. As of today, this vase still shows only 5 star reviews. In light of this deliberate deception, I recommend avoiding this seller all together. Who knows what youll actually end up with if you chance placing an order with them.Update: Gifts from Colorado saw my review and asked if Id be willing to return my product and update my review for a refund. I agreed. I mailed back their product with the supplied label and received a full refund about a week and a half later. I proceeded to sign into their website to update my review as requested, and discovered they have still chosen not to post it and are showing only 5 star reviews for the product. While they appear to be willing to go beyond their policy and offer a full refund if they believe it will cost them, the dishonesty with which they continue to specially select their displayed reviews will lead me to shop elsewhere in the future. If you decide to make a purchase here, be aware that a full refund is an exception, not the policy, so you are assuming risk. Also, Id look for a review from an external source as on their website, you see only the opinions they want you to see.
I can’t stop raving about how wonderful this business is! We ordered 4 Christmas baskets sent to family all over the country. They were all so beautifully put together and Packed full of local Colorado goodies. Great presentation, great value, and wonderful customer service! Highly impressed and will be shopping here often.
We were a bit late looking into our corporate holiday gifts, and I found Gifts from Colorado online. I emailed them expressing my need for about 20 items. Leslie invited me to come to the store at Aspen Grove. I randomly went in on a Saturday and Leslie greeted me, she showed me items within our budget range. We decided to go with the yummy-smelling Mountain Cat honey pot candles. Now the story gets really good: Leslie worked with the candlemaker to order enough in the specific scents we wanted; she was willing to receive our corporate holiday cards (from yet another vendor) and hand place a card with each candle along with protective wrapping at no extra charge. And more still: The gifts were packaged and mailed in plenty of time; I received individual tracking numbers for each of our gifts; and I received delivery notices automatically when each arrived at our clients doorstep. Excellent selection, excellent service, and we cant thank Leslie (and Mountain Cat Candles) enough for making our corporate holiday gifting a breeze!
We sent the Red Rocks basket to family in Massachusetts. They loved it, said it was the best basket gift they received (out of 5 or 6). Thank you for helping us make their holiday cheerful!!!!
We recently had an extended stay in Colorado and wanted to thank some of our friends back home for taking care of things while we were gone. The folks from Gifts at Colorado had an amazing selection and service. We were able to customize several baskets to send, all of which were unique and special. Shipping was very fast and each recipient remarked on how special their baskets were. The selection of Colorado-based products is stellar!
This store was so cute and the staff was very friendly and I loved the purchase that I got from them!!
I’ve used Colorado baskets for the last 10 years and they have always provided me with great service and excellent products. Thank you for always being so timely and reliable when I need a gift sent!!!!!
Ive ordered a couple of times over the last few years and I must say that the quality is always top notch and the baskets are always on time.
Super cute place with all Colorado sourced good! Shop local!!
I typically do not leave bad reviews for small businesses, but as a small business owner myself, I felt this was important enough for a review.A few months ago, my boss was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has been going through heavy chemo over the past few weeks. I wanted to send something nice to him and his family to show that my family and I are thinking about him. I ordered a Gift From Colorado Gift Basket to send to him. After the basket arrived, my boss called me to say thank you for the thought. Although he couldnt eat any of the treats, he said his family loved the thought. However, my boss told me that when the basket arrived, it was in bad condition. He said some of the packaging was ripped (probably from shipping), the chocolate was melted, and the buffalo sausage was moldy. My boss said he called the company directly to let them know and the person from the company said she would send him a new basket. I was concerned because the company didnt contact me immediately to apologize and let me know. I sent this email to the company:I just spoke to my boss who I sent the gift basket too this week and he told me about the gift basket and the sausage being moldy, some of the bags tore open, chocolate melted etc.He said he spoke to someone and explained everything and they were very apologetic for the basket.Thank you for sending him a new basket, but for the record, I think someone should have notified me as the sender of the basket so I didnt have to hear it from my boss.I am disappointed that I sent this basket to him and his family as a gift of appreciation and it showed up in the condition that it did. If chocolate is in the basket, I suggest shipping in a styrofoam container with dry ice. I order Lou Malanatis pizza from Chicago and they ship in a styrofoam container with dry ice. Doing this will make your business look much more professional and caring.Again, I am disappointed that I was not notified about the condition of the basket after my boss called and spoke to someone at the company. This was the response from the company:Hi Bobby, I was just notified of this last night. I havent even had time to check the order number. I did just notify my supplier of the sausage that they are moldy. It was not moldy when I packaged it in the gift basket and when I checked with him on the phone several were moldy. Besides that I dont know how the popcorn and chips could have been opened under the cello. So Im not sure how any of this happened and have never in 19 years had a complaint like this.Normally, we do substitute chocolate in the summer, everything else should ship fine in heat. So, I will get him a new one sent out after I get new sausage in and substitute the chocolate. This was my reply:Thanks for the clarification, however, a simple apology for the inconvenience would have sufficed.Great to hear that you haven’t had a complaint like this in 19 years…guess there is a first for everything…I will not be spending my money at this company anymore based on the defensive response from the company.
Received excellent customer service from Leslie! She picks up the phone and answers your questions! I was even able to save money on shipping by picking up directly at the UPS store. The ornaments I ordered were beautiful and high-quality. Great work Christmas gift. Nicely packaged and decorative boxes. This will be my go to for Colorado gifts!
High quality baskets that showcase the beautiful state of Colorado. Fast service, quick shipping and well detailed descriptions. I will buy from Gifts from Colorado anytime I need a quality product!
Amazing made in Colorado product selection, great packaging and response time. The look and quality of baskets is top notch and represents corporate customers very well. Check out the non-gift basket options also!
They may only be operating online...the website makes it appear the store front is still open, but when I made a trip there today it was completely empty and appeared to be shut down.
The baskets are wonderful! People love receiving them as much as I love giving them. They are so Colorado and so special! I appreciate the personal touch and the extra effort to meet my deadline. Thanks so much!
I have ordered several baskets from Gifts from Colorado over the years. The baskets are beautiful, service is fantastic, and delivery is always on time. I will order from GFC again this holiday season.
Great selection of Colorado products. I love the sweet/salty combination of treats in many of the gift baskets.
Fantastic products, especially for gifts for my out of state friends. Great quality, fast shipping, interesting and unusual. Ive also ordered client gifts for holidays and everyone loves receiving them.
I have ordered many baskets from Gifts From Colorado. They are always beautiful, exactly as pictured. If you want to give a true Gift From Colorado, you have come to the right place.
The baskets from Gifts from Colorado are beautifully put together and the goodies inside are wonderful.
Total basket cost: $200Total days late being shipped out: fourTotal quality customer service: zeroLesson learned....Dont ever use these guys: Priceless!I placed an order for a gift basket on Friday, January 19th.I called them and left a message on Wednesday, January 24th to inquire if the package had been sent. I did not receive a call back.I called again on Thursday and left another message. I did not receive a call back until after 5pm.The person told me that they had just shipped out the package... almost a full week after I had initially ordered it.All the person could talk about was the software problems she has been dealing with since December. She said the order had been lost. What really bothers me so much is that she did not call me back before she went ahead and shipped it.She never gave me the opportunity to choose a different shipping method or to cancel the order in its entirety. She never apologized, it was simply a litany of excuses. When I asked her if the shipping had been expedited, she said that would be very expensive ..so no she had not done that. Then she offered to take off $5 or $10 from the total if I would like....the entire basket was $200.At this point it really doesnt matter how fabulous the basket might be...the real issue for me is that its late!
I am so confused as to why this shows up like it is somewhere you can actually go shop. It is not open to public see under address where it says (not a store) this is not something that should come up when searching for gift shop locations in this area.
