Just keeps getting better! The place was packed but we got everything we needed and the people were all cordial and very helpful.Surprising that everyone was in a good mood! 👍

Its been years since Ive been to this Costco and the most recent visit was definitely a pleasant surprise. The stores layout has changed considerably and they are offering more stuff than before.

Unprofessional staff at the membership service and cashier. It took them at least 3 times, each for 20 mins to resolve an membership issue, and each time they told us it’s resolved, but it turned out to be not resolved the next time when we shopped. Don’t waste your time here and go to another store!

It is okay to serve but smaller than Heywards Costco store. Overall happy

Meat prices are really great!

Inside is pretty much your typical Costco. They have a bunch of stuff and the store is generally clean and well organized. Sometimes they have really good deals on meat. Mmmm...meat...droooool. The parking lot is an absolute zoo and getting in and out can be really difficult.

I love shopping here. They have a little of everything.

Much better choice of Asian and Indian food then in Concord.Gas station is really expensive, 20-30 cents per gallon more than in Concord, close to downtown stations prices.

Went in for a quick return and it was just. Something to note is that Costco doesnt return any alcohol items at CA locations. I bought a case of beer that I had never tried before and couldnt drink it, it was way to spicy. Luckily the worker advised me of the rule and returned this time since Ive never returned alcohol in the past. Just something to keep in mind because the phone recording for returns only talks about electronics.

Second best Costco next to number one near home. I come here for the gas but unlike some stations with 3 pumps on an island, they only offer 2 so the wait can be long. Recently, the line was in the street leading to the driveway. I left.This Costco is also configured different from the one near home so things are a little more difficult to find. Still, its Costco so I have to give them a decent rating.

Went in to get water and get to the register and he says there’s a limit of 2 cases. That’s fine but maybe put proper signage so customers don’t waste their time.

It is a nice whole sale store with good quality products, priced, services and well displayed.

5:00 pm is a good time to go here. In and out quickly.

Experiencing an unacceptable RUDE staff named Rayna at the exit today when I, along with my 8 year-old boy were stopped forcefully at a very crowded line. Rayna took our receipt and chccked out our items in the cart back and forth, there were ONLY 7 items there, it normally took a staff 5 seconds to examine, Yet Rayna was claiming that we didnt pay for our salad, or a bag of bagle and FORCED us to stay there with her body leaning towards our cart. I asked politely saying : We need to leave, madam. Since my husband was waiting outside at the curb already, after another examination on us up and down, I pushed my cart a few inches outward, and yet she didnt want to back off... she finally let us leave and rolled her eyes one more time, saying in a hostile tone : WHATEVER!, I was speechless and right there my boy was in shock and asked me : why she treated us like this? We have been shopping there for 5 years and never ever encounter such incident.

Love the people and the products. Staff is always happy and helpful. Going here 5 days a week it makes a difference to interact with joyful ppl.

This place is very spacious and the best around tri valley. There is gasoline here so along with groceries you can fill gas too. Lots of great options during thanksgiving. Love Costco. There is self checkout so it’s very convenient.

Overall good experience whenever I visit. Friendly staff and helpful team. Large parking lots and gets crowded usually during evening and weekends. Nice and clean store.Great prices on bulk and has Gas stations. Good food court for take outs & no dine-ins allowed now due to covid.

The store is good but some of the cashiers are very rude. I havent seen this issue with several other Costco I have been to.

Usually I love going to this Costco, today it was a mad house, Im ok with that too, the line at the food court was crazy, ok no problem. The problem is when the workers at the food court take and throw away your receipt!! You can NOT leave without your receipt! I didnt only purchase food court items, and tried to make it easier on myself by buying the items while I purchased the rest of my stuff. I will say the manager who helped me and went to the back of the store to reprint my receipt was super helpful. I still love Costco, but this was a nightmare bring there with a cranky 4 month old.

Ive found that not all prices are actuality wholesale. Prices increase frequently. Only decrease on small items. They do have very good sales. So its still reasonable to shop there.Big ticket items on sale are a bargain.

Despite being a necessity in our lives, I usually enjoy going to Costco. This Costco in particular is the busiest I have ever been to. I prefer the Tracy Costco, because livermore funnels Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Livermore. I cannot stress how absolutely PACKED it is, at ALL HOURS. On the positive side, it is very clean and being an Alameda County Costco gives it the bay area items that the Tracy Costco does not have.

Great customer service, Mia was one of them helped me find kitchen liner we searched almost 10 aisles unfortunately we didn’t find and she hooked me up with manager unlike couple other folks(who were very busy though).

A Costco like most other full sized Costcos. They know how to run a business. Large parking lot with enough space for even the busiest of times. Decent layout once you are oriented. Lots of self checkouts if you dont have alcohol.

I prefer going to costco, Danville because of ease of parking

This is a great deal for a good home theater system.

I think this is the best Costco store. All the staff are friendly and tries to help people. Even though I live closer to the San Ramon/Danville Costco, and is more convenient I find the people at the Livermore store much better to deal with and kinder. Seem like the San Ramon/Danville store has attitude and mannerism issues, and for some reason their staff are more angry. Livermore is the best.

Management is very cordial & we get almost what we want easily

Buyer beware if you’re shopping for meat. This is not the first time. Most of the time, the meat is good. All packaged chicken is good, most seafood is good. But lately, it’s a hit and miss between the pork and beef. First time we had a problem was the vacuumed sealed pork ribs. Stunk as soon as we opened it. This time was the beef chuck beef ribs. They hid the stinky piece under the label (see pic). My bad for not looking under the label.

This is not the first time I saw the pizza food service worker get mad to the costumers. One or two people only to service all cashier and food service. Too busy made everyone got mad.

Its Costco. Wholesale and hot dogs. What else do you want?

During COVID-19 lockdown, seniors were able to get preferred entrance early in the morning. Great policy!

Stay away from Costco.com online orders. Two separate experiences with ordering a dishwasher and Airpods so far have gone miserably wrong with order stuck for months for reasons even Costco.com phone/chat agents cannot fix.

Great prices on bulk items!! If you dont shop at Costco your missing out. They dont only have great prices on food but also clothes, alcohol, and random cool stuff! Lemon raspberry muffins are delicious.

Enjoyed window shopping and seeing that items at this warehouse are different from Costcos that I frequent in San Joaquin & Stanislaus counties. Although, I hope that they expand this location. Warehouse, parking lot, and gas station is just too cramped.

Id give this costco 5 stars but they didnt carry a few items that my old local Costco carried. Other than that it has everything you would need for a Costco. This location also has a gas station. I wish costco would start carrying Hebrew national hotdogs again and skinny cow ice cream sandwiches, but it does have most of the things one would be looking for in a costco

Pardon me... Do you have any Grey Poupon? Here: the answer is was NO as of October 2020 (so far, the only time I have ever been to THIS Costco). Driving through the area, I was hoping it would have my household staples that are not always available in Novato (which Grey Poupon is among them). It had none of the others as well, so that was a waste of an exit, park and time spent for an empty shopping stop plus putting on the mask and gloves and the cart wipedown. Other than that, its a nice Costco, but I would have no reason to go there since I live in San Rafael. Fortunately, I got the Grey Poupon, and most of the other items, down the road still en route in the bad traffic light zone in San Leandro.

Not much to be said, it is Costco . . . Too many people, too bulky and as always, you come out with more than intended.

07/16/21 Fresh wild rockfish has tapeworm

Just popped in for what used to be my go-to pizza takeout. Effective summer 2020 they have discontinued combination pizza and only have plain cheese and pepperoni/cheese. We settled for pepperoni. Bad choice. Basically oil pizza with cheese sludge and cheap pepperoni on top of oil-soaked crust. Costco is no longer my go-to takeout.

You can find almost everything. Some products a little bit pricey, but quality is good.

Its a Costco. Theyre going to have all the things you need and in bulk. This one in particular is nice and clean and it wasnt too busy when I went on a weekend.

Compared to other branches, there are many things that are missing here.

Have been going to Costco at Livermorre for so many yrs but had very unpleasant experience this time. Bought a Skippy peanut butter set of 2. When I came home and opend the first bottle, was shocked to see that it was used n I could see mark of knife inside the bottle.Thought to go back and show it to customer service but was so tired and had no courage to go back .Lesson learned for future, always double check the seal on every item from now on wards !!

I love Costco for the return policy.I bought furniture online and never ended up putting it together (had it for 9 months), and decided I didnt like it.I called Costco.com and they made it super easy. I returned it to this location and the guys came out and helped me unload.Only NEGATIVE thing is that they move things around each day so sometimes you have to stop and ask or like wander the isles to find things longer. This is their business policy to make you wander around longer but its not effective when you want to drop in and leave quickly.

Long turn around in the gas station. Food court unable to serve food due to ?power outgage. The whole place have power otherwise. I dunno. Bad luck.But they really have to do something with the gas station situation.

Lines move pretty quickly and they have a costco gas station

We went to Costco at Livermore today for glasses. We were in the optometry area in front of the frame counter for almost 10 mins, no one called us. Since there is no customer in the glass frame area, I went in to take look at the frames. Then I got yelled at that I had to stay in line and waiting to be called. Then I asked where is the line. The Asian lady yelled again said to stay in line. There is no line!The other lady pointed out to stay on front of the counter area. I went to the counter area, do not see any sign to let customer know what to follow, no sign for where to start the line. How customer suppose to know?Then got another BIG guy came over yelling at me to stay in line. Where is the sign? I asked. He said we do not need to post any signs since the pandemic has been over 3 months. I have to follow what the Costco people tells to do.This is the latest Costcos Policy? No Signs need, customer has to be follow what Costco people tells.I am not quite sure this is the way people likes to be treated.I will never go to this Livermore store if the store does not change.

I got tires put on this Saturday. They did fine with the tires, but they said they’d call me when my car was ready. 2 hours later of me sitting at Costco and no call. I called them and they said “Oh yeah your car is ready.” I said “Oh I didn’t get a call or anything.” No apology. Nothing. And the guy that helped me at the front desk had a really angry energy about him. A lady who could not speak English very well tried communicating with him and he wouldn’t even try with her. He just ignored her. I, the customer, had to be the one to help her. What the heck?

The senior hours are so nice! We were in and out in less than half an hour .

The self checking system is the worst checking system I ever met, I scanned items twice, still two items not listed.

Cashier Diana was extremely rude. Never have I been treated so poorly in any store. Asked if we could start loading our items for her to scan since other cashiers were asking people in line to wait. She looked at us and treated us like we were stupid the entire transaction. We were very respectful and she could not have been more hostile.

Went to the optometrist Dr. N was fast efficient and cost effective. The optical dept. Is cost effective & clerks helpful but the selection of frames is limited but they do accept New Frames from outside less than $200 in value for mounting new lenses
