Reminds me of my childhood. Good burgers and thick cut fries. Gyro wrap had the meat nicely crisped. Would be even better with a good greek tzatziki sauce but I have not found a tzatziki I like in California yet. Great value compared to other burger places in town.

The worst hot dog I ever had. Definitely not Caspers nor anywhere near it. I would rather have a hotdog from Costco any day than this one. The condiments were very little and anything extra they charge. The Pepsi was flat obviously they don’t change their CO2 tanks. If you want a real hot dog do not go here, don’t waste your time or money.

Best dogs in Livermore! But more than that this place is just plain good. So to put into perspective just how good a place like this is heres a quick story. I just back from New York (and being a hot dog guy) I went around and got some hotdogs. They were all amazing. The thing is I came back here and ordered my Cajun HotLink and well it was still just as good as when I left. This place brings a quality I dont expect from a shop out of Livermore. The onion rings are also amazing. Eat em as they come out and they go quick.

Would eat there again. The gyros week delicious. Awesome fries.

Great service! Magnificent burgers and fries

We had a Italian and a Cajun dog along with fries and onion rings. Both dogs were very dry. We will not be back. The fries and onion rings were not tasty. Very disappointing since this place came recommended.

The new owners are incredibly sweet and I was just looking for a local burger spot near my new house. Someone raved about their burgers, and sure enough, they are DELICIOUS! I asked for grilled onions and got them, which are much better than raw onions! The soda fountain is not accessible but they will kindly do refills if you ask. I havent tried the actually hot dogs yet but Im more of a hamburger person anyway. Im in danger of going twice a week!

The staff is very pleasant, and happy. They are proud of what they do here, you can taste that in the food they serve. I will be coming back for sure.

Much better than my last visit. The place was empty this time and they got my order right. Dandy Dogs is dying breed. Livermore needs more basic hot dog spots like this. My dog was delish (polish made to order) and my fried zucchini was hot and crispy. 10/10 will go back.

This place doesnt look like much but the owners who work there are always so pleasant. The hot dogs were great but the burgers were amazing. The Male owner makes the best crust on a burger hands down.

Dandy Dogs is awesome you have a variety of food including lamb. Their fries are awesome and their onion rings are so good too. I recommend them to everyone and thw owners are friendly too.

If youre looking for an old timey burger joint straight out of the 50s, this is the soot for you. Lovely little family business with a husband and wife team that provide very polite and quick service. Lots of classic burger joint options plus pretty tasty gyros too! I go here every couple weeks on my lunch break, I recommend it for sure.

Partial Halal Menu here. Owners are Known Muslims. Its a 50s style Burger joint with 50s music playing in the background. The Burgers, Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Tenders are Halal. I did not ask about the hot dogs. I tried the Burger and fries meal. The burger was very good with a strong bun (did not break apart) and the fries were also very tasty. Friendly service. I would have to come back here to try out the Shakes and Malts and maybe a Hotdog if they are Halal.
