Very knowledgeable and patient staff! Hatim was the best. I will definitely return. Although this location doesn’t have a lab, it took less than a week for my glasses to arrive, which is faster than my online favorite.

I went there last week and all I can say is I’m very satisfied. All the precious frames I had gotten would break very easily and end up in very bad condition and I wouldn’t be able to find the size to my needs. When I went there a friendly woman there helped me, her name was juwera or something near that and she was so kind and helpful and was able to guide me to one of the best glasses I’ve ever gotten. Would 10/10 reccomend.

Best LensCrafters to go to. The optometrists are great and the sales reps have a lot of experience and can pick out the perfect glasses in a matter of minutes. Great selection of frames and sunglasses. I love to go to Juveria and I’ve been going back there for a couple of years now. She’s very courteous, professional and kept me updated on the whereabouts of my glasses since they are now being done in a lab instead of in-house.

I came here for my eye exam and was told that the copay was $55. I was surprised a bit as I was expecting a $10 copay, but still went ahead with it, thought that was part of the differences that the way the insurance was set up (our insurance was like that before). After completing the exam and payment, I went to select a pair of glasses. Then I saw the insurance clearly said $10 copay. I went back to the nurse and was told the copay was $10 and there was another $45 test that was not covered by insurance. What a scam!!!Why not explain what the $55 was for clearly to customers ahead of time? I likely will still do it as it is good for me. But the way it was handled was so sneaky! I won’t come back again. Certainly not recommend to anyone I know!

I almost always go to LensCrafters to fulfill my prescription and have had nothing but positive experiences, but Leslie definitely knocked it out of the park and I will be dealing with her exclusively next year when I need to fulfill my prescription again.Not only that, this location had a great selection of fashionable frames. I went with a clear pair of Polo frames for glasses and a classic pair of black Ray Ban aviators for sunglasses. I cannot wait to have them as a part of my collection when they come in!

Amazing customer service, I am not the type of person to leave reviews but I had an amazing experience in this location. I went to the store looking for new glasses for myself since I wanted to change it up from always wearing my contact lenses. I was a little confused on what I wanted to buy and I wasn’t sure if insurance was going to cover my new glasses. An associate name Juveria approached me and made the visit way more pleasant. She was able to answer all of my questions about Insurance and my options. I am happy she was able to help me and give me the time I needed.I get a lot of complements on my new glasses and I highly recommend visiting the landscrafters in Livingston. I was looking for a frame for my glasses, my English is good but you can tell that I am not from here, first a lady help me in the worst actitud, later she told a men to help me and he was this frames are very expensive looking at me in a very ugly way, I am like so what? Like probably you don’t want pay that. So I asked how much will be to have a new pair with glasses, he was I don’t know how much you can pay I can’t help you, you have to do and appt. I feel so humiliated I was not asking for the price I was asking what should I do, to have a new pair of glasses. Can’t believe this actitud and classism.

I love lenscrafters, they always have a good selection of glasses and sunglasses to choose from, brand name as well as off brand. The staff is phenomenal, nice, friendly, attentive and eager to please the customer. Even the optometrist is super friendly. The sales are always worth it, I usually buy when its 40% off lenses and frames.

Watch out, the optometrist in the back Patel from Sphere EyeCare always, always gets you on annual checkups with up-charges that are *not disclosed* when getting eye exams. Just when I thought I learned through the years, now I got charged $40 for an extra test. I didnt even argue, not worth it. Ive gone to her for a few years, but not going back again. Not ethical.

Ive got a new glasses here, but my 1yo kid broke the right bow. I didnt have insurance but optician was incredibly friendly and fixed it without any additional charge. So nice from his side and great service.

I had an eye exam with Dr Mary Wu and she was very nice. She clearly answered all my questions and had a very pleasant personality. I used to go to the LensCrafters in East Hanover but stopped going there as the eye doctor would just rush the exam and wouldn’t even care to ask if I had any questions or concerns.Even the store staff were pretty good. I was able to pick my frames in no time as they had a good selection and the rep put in my order within minutes. Overall happy with my visit

I had the pleasure of working with Leslie who gave exemplary customer service. Due to no fault of her own, my glasses which were to be completed in a week were lost with an entire shipment of glasses. She went above and beyond to call other Lenscrafters to see if they could expedite my lost frames. She stayed in constant contact with me and even picked them up personally to ensure that I would receive them before my trip. She saved the day!

Dr Wu and her entire staff were wonderful. Our salesperson, Jeanan, was a pleasure to work with. She has the patience of a saint and was extremely helpful. She made the whole process fun.

I called to book an appointment for my daughters one sight program she received from her school, which was offered by lensecrafters, but they said I should come back in 3 months time because they were not offering the services anymore. Meanwhile, there was no indication of any limited time for this program on the letter. I also intended buying my own glasses and prescription, plus my sons, and have my other two children have their eye check up there if the offer went through, but to my greatest surprise, the offer was not real, it was meant to get my attention. They asked me for my Insurance. Why would you be requesting for my insurance if it was free?

I went to purchase both prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses . I dealt with Patricia, who could not have been more helpful. I had to go back for some adjustments and a change and again she was most helpful and extremely friendly. We will be going back when my husband needs new glasses as the service was great.

Avoid this place they are crooks. If you ask them if they are in net work they will tell you we can still pull it through as a consumer realize this is a red flag and this will cost you more. Shady and unethical business practices. Steer clear.

I went to LensCrafters and after an okay exam, I purchased contacts. once these contacts ran out, I realized I could receive a discount through my job so I chose to order them through another site. While I was waiting for my new contacts to come in, I realized I would be short for two days. I went to LensCrafters and asked the doctor if she could give me two contacts to get me through the overlap in my delivery. She agreed at first but then when she realized I ordered them through a different vendor, she told me she could only provide me a trial pair, if I ordered them through LensCrafters. Ive been wearing contacts since I was 13 and have never been denied a pair of contacts from my own DOCTOR. I even offered to pay for them but they still refused. case in point, this LensCrafters is only in it for the money. if you dont like that people can find a better price somewhere else than you should offer a price match or give your patients the best deals. I will not be returning as a patient so not only did you lose my contact order, my sunglasses and regular glass orders but you lose me completely as a patient.

I love the experience with both the doctors and sales personnel. And because of this, I’ll continue coming here every year.

On September 25th at 2:47pm I approached a Spanish employee with curly brown hair, glasses, grey shirt with a white cardigan. My father had concerns with his frames he purchased a couple of weeks ago where the left side of his temple became loose - we went to LensCrafters in Livingston thinking it may be the hinges that needed to be tightened. The employee already had a sour face as I was approaching her. She acted like it was a burden she was assisting us. Her entire body language exhibited almost as if she thought she was better than us. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt perhaps I was misinterpreting her body language but then she began to speak in a deamoning manner stating it’s supposed to get loose you should’ve purchased a different type of frame but I’ll tighten it for now with a “huff”. Then how come the other side of the temple wasn’t loose? Am I supposed to come every week to tighten it? Her answer was simply it does this over time there is nothing you can do however I purchased these frames only two weeks ago? This was not something that occurred “over time” and the frames were falling off his face clearly it needed to be tightened. Upper management needs to hire better associates who are professionals and have customer service skills being that they are in the retail industry. I’m not sure what happened this year but previous years every employee I encountered delivered professionalism. As the previous comment below stated it may be farther but the East Hanover location is so much better and have actual employees who want to work.

I called to see if they could send me a copy of receipt and the woman was Nasty condescending. To make matters worst I have to come in person for a receipt. Im not dumb, slow, or stupid. I work and a hospital and have been in the medical offices for over 20 years, and it is not a HIPPA violation to send this via fax or email. This is not the first time that Ive received attitude when dealing with this location. I most defiantly will not be returning to this store.

This is probably the worst Lens Crafters outlet available. I have done business with Lens Crafters before in Ohio and they have provided exceptional service. The elderly white sales rep here refused to give me a price quotation without the original prescription saying he can’t do it without entering it into their system. Either they get a commission for entering to their system for generating a lead or else he was ignorant enough that he had no idea of the prices without actually trying to place an order. He said if I didn’t have an original prescription that he was not going to waste time with me since he had customers who were going to place orders right away; when I walked upto him he was not busy so not sure what customers he was referring to. He was also unaware that you could put Transitions to Varilux Phsio lenses when my previous pair ordered from lens Crafters was indeed Varilux Physio with transitions. He was also unaware of the Varilux X Series lenses and asked whether I was referring to Transitions XTtra Active. A pair of glasses with Varilux is close to $1,000 depending on lens type and coatings so you want to get a quotation and do research on difference lenses types and prices i.e. Physio vs X Series etc on benefits vs cost before placing the order because it is a big investment. You don’t just give a prescription and order right away on the first visit without doing your own research. He probably had the least knowledge of Varilux lenses and the rudest sales person I have come across; definitely no way should you trust the advice from a person so ignorant without double checking yourself. Since I have been to other Lens Crafters and have purchased before (twice from Len Crafters on Ohio), I know this is no representation of Lens Crafters brand overall but this review is only for this store which is definitely a store to keep away from if you want a good and reliable service.

I have been a long time customer but lately find that this branch has gone dramatically downhill. When pricing glasses, I find that they upsell you everything - blue light blocking, scratch resistance, anti glare, polycarbonate lens, anti breakage insurance- without even checking with you if you want any of it. Its up to you to question the price and ask for a breakdown. This is unacceptable and hadnt been this way in the past, but apparently is the new way of doing business here, which feels sneaky and unethical. Plus, they no longer make the glasses on premises, rather ship them out, and it takes 5-10 business days to receive them. Go to the LensCrafters a few miles down the road in East Hanover, where they dont try to sneak in features you may not need, and still make the glasses on premises! Thats what I plan to do going forward.

I agree with other comments that customer service at this location sucks! I spoke with an employee asking questions about my coverage and what a pair of glasses would cost. He was very rude and acted as if I was bothering him. I mean really? To walk a customer through the cost of what they will be purchasing is a problem? Honestly I would have purchased the pair of lenses that I saw but because of the horrible service I just left. Why would I spend my money at an establishment like this?
