Just purchased our 4th Westpointe 14000 BTU portable AC unit. We have a very large home and have 2 units upstairs and one downstairs. We have crank windows so we used a piece of Plexiglas at the top held with tension curtain rods and a screw into the window screen to make sure the Plexiglas stays in place. True Value gave us the online price discount. These really work and they are the only ones I found with the essential 14000 BTU. Use them maybe 2 months out of the year and easily store them in a closet the rest of the time. Always a pleasure to deal with the sales staff at the Livingston True Value!

Did not a accept a manufactures coupon. Oh well, they lost a sale. Mostly only visit here for the good deals on their sale flyer items. BTW, coupon was good a couple blocks down at Ace.

Utterly ridiculous. Will not communicate, will not provide refunds for damaged items or items not received, will not return emails or reply to voice messages. Will send complaints to True Value corporate.

A most horrible experience placing an order on eBay. It appears eBay sales are managed by Jerry Strickland.Items I ordered arrived damaged. I sent a message with photos right away. I sent additional messages. Not once did I receive a reply.I then entered a return request. After waiting for many days, I finally get a message from eBay that the return was approved, that was a total of two weeks from my first message.And, that eBay notice arrived the night before major surgery. I let the True Value store know about my time constraints for returning the item, but apparently when you cannot communicate, you dont care about making things happen. What a horrible excuse for a retailer that doesnt demonstrate the corporate values of True Value.The next step is to contact the headquarters for True Value to make a complaint.A total waste of time and money and a complete failure in customer service.

True Value Superstore is Bait and Switch advertising on Walmarts page. Was suppose to get 12 6PKS of ant bait killer and only received One 6PK for $19.65. Worth about 3 bucks. See my screen shot what a rip off. Stay away from this seller as they dont answer their emails or calls from Walmart customer support. One star is too good for these folks.

Bait and switch pricing. Placed online order with retailer. Apparently they listed the wrong quantity for the price on the site. After receiving my order, without calling or emailing first, the seller took it upon themselves to ship 1/2 of the order since that is what they considered to be the “correct” quantity... even though I paid the full posted price. I contacted them directly as well as the 3rd party site and True Value Superstore refused to honor their posted quantity/pricing by shipping the missing items. Instead they only offered to allow me to return the merchandise for a refund. I understand mistakes, but a seller should honor their posted or displayed price then correct it. I spoke with an employee 3 times. Each time he spoke with the owner before calling me back. However, when I asked to speak with the owner, they stopped returning my calls. In the end, the 3rd party site issued a refund for the missing items.There are 8 google reviews in total and all of the good ones are local customers who shop in store or order online for in-store pickup. The only other review from an online buyer (besides mine) who received shipped merchandise is bad also. They, too, had to resort to 3rd party to fairly resolve their complaint. Perhaps they are inexperienced with this type of sale, but based on this information, I would recommend to avoid purchasing online from this vendor. I know I will.

Most of the staff is unfriendly and act like they dont care if you spend any money there.I had to step over and move empty boxes to get to the garden seeds.This store has really gone down hill since they moved.

The owner refuses to communicate with regards to an Ebay order that arrived in heavily damaged condition. Ive been trying to get Mr. Strickland to reply, through many messages, but, he will not communicate. I would like a refund now. Ive sent many messages, photos, and you will not communicate.
