Great service. They fixed me right up!
Great staff very helpful
Dale and his crew are extremely knowledgeable about all outdoor gear and their customer service is fantastic. BIkes, backpacking, skiing, hiking..... you name it, they have it. On top of having top of the line gear, their service is unparalleled. I bought a water purifier last summer, and Rob knew everything about several options they had in stock. At their end of Winter sale, I bought an AT ski set-up. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always have time to talk about the pros and cons of items you are interested about. These guys offer the service that on-line shopping will never imitate. Thanks!
Visiting Livingston on a road trip to Yellowstone and brought the bikes with us. When fork mounting one of my bikes for the trip I didnt pay attention to one of the tire attachments and springs which I ended up loosing along the way. Went into Timber Trails on my other bike, told them what I needed and they helped me out in minutes free of charge. They knew exactly what I was talking about, gave me the spare nut and spring for free and told me to come back if I it didnt fit. While in there I bought some things I needed for excellent service and they even gave me some recommendations for Yellowstone. On top of it all, the part they gave me worked perfectly. Timber Trails has more the just bike parts, as well as excellent customer service and super friendly folks there. Cannot recommend enough for all your outdoor needs.
Ah man!!! These folks are great. Solid little store great knowledge base, super helpful and great ambassadors for their part of the world. Go check em out if you are at all into being outdoors.
WOW! I’ve never been so impressed with customer service before. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely helpful- they went above and beyond. The store has unique, functional, and affordable inventory. I showed up with some questions about my Dynafit bindings and left feeling well-informed and ready to hit the trail. Rob, Thomas, and Mark give off a great vibe- this will, hands down, be my go-to gear shop from now on.
Re: custom boot fittingNever in my life have I had a pair of ski boots that didn’t cause me pain after wearing for three hours. That is until Dana fit me for a new pair of boots and built me custom foot beds. The difference is amazing! Wish I did this years ago.
Cute store. Fun clothing options and outdoors gear. We liked the small, personal feel of the place and we got fabulous help! Will definitely go back. Thanks!!
These guys are awesome. Rob is the man when it comes to gear. Dale gives back to the community on so many ways. Thomas and crew fix a mean bike.
Love this place! Packed full of whatever you need, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Can always find something here. Great for most outdoor activities.
Great Selection. #shoplocal
Decent selection for a small town. They carry cycling, skiing, and backpacking gear and apparel. A little more expensive than what youd order online, but no wait for shipping, its all right there.
Staff and rentals are perfect. The whole experience working with them was easy and thoughtful- the staff even helped us by leaving our equipment on the porch Sunday- the day their closed- so we could grab snow shoes on our way to yellowstone. Would totally use them again in the future when visiting.
My favorite Biking, sporting, and general outdoorsing store in Livingston. The products sold are high quality and well priced, and the staff of 1 is friendly and kind
Great little outdoor store. Bike shop is great too. Fantastic service
Big shout out to TT, thanks for the wonderful gift certificate for our Toastmasters Holiday Party. It was a big hit!!
Very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection, from clothing to bike tools!
Best place in town to get your skies waxed and your bike fixed. Really knowledgable staff if you have any backpacking, hiking, skiing, biking or climbing questions.
My favorite place a second home
Rented a bike and went on a highly recommended bike trail they highly recommended. I had a great time
Great local store for outdoor gear.
Found some decent bike locks at decent prices. Thought staff would be more knowledgeable about the local hiking trails but at least they knew who I should ask.
Some of the nicest people around. Fun shop. Excellent selection.
I needed to fix my chain...the guy was super friendly and let me borrow all the tools I needed to get back on the trails.
Really helpful staff that will take plenty of time to talk to you about your outdoor adventure, whatever it may be.
Not only does Timber Trails have top notch outdoor gear for all seasonal adventures, specialize in bikes and bike repair, have useful gifts, and give generously to the community, but also help you get outside by hosting group mountain bike rides, sharing maps of local trails, and more!
Great crew and owner. Gave me sweet deal on bike and very good about service, add ons and repairs.
They help you pick out the right bike that fits you.Tune ups are very reliable too!!
Timber Trails is the absolute best! You wont be disappointed when you visit here!
Not good customer service. Brought my bike in for tune up and prepaid for it. Promised it would be done and still waiting. If you repair your bike in Bozeman I would do it unless you must go here.
How far could random act of kindness and generosity go?? Yesterday I got to Livingston and realised my rear wheel was broken and had to be replace. The only bike shop in town was not opening until noon today, so I camped on the side of the road, on the town edge, to go to the bike shop, Timber Trails, to have my bike fixed today.Once I get there, the shop owner, Dale Sexton, and the bike mechanic, Tom, go up and down to help me out. Tom does everything to fix my bike in the back store, and Dale, spends a good one hour drawing me maps and letting me know about Yellowstone nice places to go, campgrounds, tips and a lot of cool things that only locals know. Then when it comes to charging me, he gives me 35% discount, doesnt let me pay for the $10 canister stabilizer (tells me its our stores gift to you!) and when I tell him please add $10 to my bill as a tip for Tom, he pays him Tom in cash right away, but doesnt charge me on my credit card! What a generous man!I did the math and realised he was charging me only $80 for what I should have paid $160!And I say thanks Dale, now I know why yout store has so many 5 star reviews, he tells me I live on Karma! :)When I was riding back from his store to my tent, I had this in my mind: Everything happens for a good reason!, the reason why my bike breaks down after 1,700km right here is to meet such kind souls and learn generosity and kindness with no expectation in return...Thank you Dale and Tom, you got my Karma, big time!
I wish all outdoor stores would take a close look at the only real way to run a sporting goods shop with a great bicycle service as well. Five Stars excelling in the outdoor industrieres ..Timber Trail ..Made me feel like it was the best stop while touring thru Montana...
...Great shop with focused lines for selling outdoor lifestyles.
They had exactly what I needed at a fair price.
