I originally went to Big O and then was told about SE Performance from my cousin. These guys saved me over $3,000 which means a lot cus I’m a broke college student. They even stayed after hours to finish my car.My car sounds so much better, the brakes are great and it’s SO much easier to steer. If i could rate it more stars I would.

I have an old 1994 Accord that had suddenly experienced a loss in power. The check engine light never came on, so I wasnt sure what the issue was. SE Performance was recommended to me by another auto mechanic who said they specialized in diagnosing issues with older cars. I called Skyler at SE Performance, and he was very friendly and confident. They quickly identified the issues with my car and worked with me to maximize the repairs at a fair price. Ive since driven the car out of state, and it drives good as new! These guys are definitely worth checking out!

Skylar from the first call I made was awesome to work with. They got my parts in to service my Indian motorcycle and got me right in. Not only was the quote exact to the penny when I went to pay but my bike was washed and waxed. These guys are the real deal, I look forward to sending them business and bringing my bike back! Another auto place recommended S&E Performance to fix my broken water valve, and I was pleased with their work. The price was cheaper than an alternative, and I had good communication with them the whole time. Skyler was especially helpful lending me one of their loaner cars for no cost that I was able to use for a day when I needed a car while mine was still being worked on. Overall, really great and I will be going there for any future car issues.

The team was super helpful. They diagnosed and fixed an oil leak from my older model Toyota Van. Good as new. You get the expertise of a dealer but the personal touch of a real human. Highly recommended.

I called to be able to take the car to be checked and I asked 4 times if I had to pay just to have it checked and they said no, after they checked it they charged me $ 100 when they had told me by phone that they did not. They told me that they were supposedly charging me 1 hour, when in reality it was less than 25 min.They made me a quote of over $ 1500 when the parts cost less than $ 300 total. They are thiefs

Great work! The people are very friendly and they were quick and efficient. I would have gave them 5 stars but there was a brown drink spilled on the outside of my white vehicle. Maybe could’ve at least been washed off or I could’ve been informed of it. Other than that they were excellent!

Sam is the best mechanic I know, I live an hour away from Logan and I will make the drive just to have S&E work on my Jeep. I came in for a routine oil check but Sam noticed my water pump was going out. I took my car in at 4 pm and my car was completely fixed the next day before 11 am. S&E always has fast, friendly service, and fair prices. Its nice to know I have an honest mechanic I can trust. Im happy to support this business, I wont take my car anywhere else!

Sam and the staff are great. What I appreciate most is the clarity they communciate with about what is going on with my vehicle. They take the time to communicate what they are looking at, what the options are and/or steps needed to fix it. Also they have always been fair with prices and delivered on the time frame of when it will be done. Some of my previous experiences with auto shops have involved surprise and shock. Never with SE has this happened.

My power steering in my second-hand 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee literally exploded, spraying fluid and metal chunks all over under the hood. It’s my fault, really, the thing was making awful screeching metal-on-metal noises for a long time now. I didn’t want to know what was going on so I had ignored it. Well, one night it imploded and bled out. Poor Jeep :( man I was nervous to how much it would cost, but I was not nervous to who to bring it to. More hopeful, actually! :)I know Sam, so I knew he would be honest, but hadn’t used his service yet so I had it towed to S&E performance to see if my Jeep was done for. He addressed my Jeep as soon as he could and gave it his full attention. He quickly gave me an analysis and price quote, and told me that it was definitely worth fixing as my Jeep was still in good condition for how many miles were on it. I needed something from my Jeep and was impressed to find him under the hood, engine running and everything running smoother than the day I bought it, and he was saying it was almost ready to pick up.I will never use another mechanic! The experience was honest, efficient and effective. Sam knows what he is doing and won’t beat around the bush with his services. Thanks, S&E!

I found S&E about three months ago. So happy that I did. I took my 2011 Acura MDX in for a brake job. I spoke with Skyler and told him that both the front and rear needed to be replaced. Thankfully they are a very honest shop and Skyler called to let me know that I only needed the front brakes replaced. He was so nice and professional and explained everything to me thoroughly. He gave great customer service which I really appreciated. They were fast and the best price in town. What a great place. I’ll definitely be taking my other cars there for sure!!!!

This shop was superb. I had them do an engine and transmission swap, they got it done in a very timely fashion and their work was even better. I am a month out now and I have had zero issues. Sam, the mechanic, is phenomenal. He let me look at the bottom of my Toyota Sienna to see for myself the condition. Nothing major, but Im the kind of guy that needs to see the underside of my vehicle occasionally to know how things are looking. He did my oil change quick, and gave me some honest maintenance advice with zero pressure to buy.

We have tried many different solutions in trying to fix our car but ultimately they did not work. We were referred to S&E Performance by a neighbor of ours. Sam had our car fixed within a couple of days. (He would have had it sooner but we told him we were going to be out of town so no need to rush the job.) He figured out the issue was our transmission computer and had it replaced. Our car has been running great ever since! He is fairly priced and followed up with us to make sure it is still running properly. We will be back if our car has a problem again!

Im so excited that Ive crossed paths with this auto repair shop. I took my vehicle to them for a second opinion and ended up saving over 50% from the first bid. They took care of the issue with in a few hours and even delivered the vehicle to my home. They have a clean organized shop. They are knowledge and it shows that they love what they do! I had a very unique problem with my Yamaha that even the dealership had no idea what to do with, and even thought I trust my usual shop a lot, I had a feeling that they would just start opening up my engine. Over the phone and in the shop they honestly cared about my feed back and wanted to help me out. (so refreshing!) I was pretty skeptical of the ideas and eventually the solution that he came up with, but I couldnt help but feel how honest Sam and Ben were. He put all my fears aside and did an excellent job! They truly cared about keeping the cost low, and solving the root of the problem. I wont take my car or bike anywhere else anymore. Take your vehicle to him! Keep S&E alive! I went to another mechanic who tried to give me a giant rip off, and I heard about S&E Performance from a friend, so I tried them out. They did a spectacular job on my car, and for half the cost that the other wanted to charge! They are incredibly fair and honest with their work, and they worked with my schedule remarkably well, picking me up from work when my car was being worked on. Definitely will be using them from now on, and only them!Edit: We have decided to stop working with S&E performance. While they are great people and the idea that they will give you a ride to work is awesome, some of the fixes that they have done on our cars were a.) more expensive than they should have been (we took the car into a different place since we were still having troubles with the issue) b.) we were having issues with some of the repairs and c.) getting a straight quote from them has been an issue, as they would give us an expectation of what it would cost, and some of the repairs turned out to be several hundred dollars more than what they originally quoted. Still great people, but I think the business does better with motorcycles than cars.

Been coming here for a year now. I have a 2012 BMW 535XI and had a 2010 Cadillac Escalade, both of which had some serious work done on them. This is a local business, owned by Sam. His wife and sister work here and they are amazing! Ive had positive experiences with these 3. If you care about paying honest people to work on your car, and for quality work you gotta come here. They dealt with warrantee company for me, which was stressful (THANK YOU MICHELLE!), and switched out my differential on my Escalade. Theyve done fuel pump, fuel sensor and belts on my BMW. All this work theyve done, Ive never had to take it back for them to look at again. Theyve worked on my moms 2008 Toyota Tundra too. Their work is honest, high quality and fast! Cant say enough about Sam, they def do their best. Working on BMW is hard enough and they make it look easy, thank you Sam, Michelle and rest of the crew for everything! Def will be coming to yall with any other vehicle problems.

Im a wannabe backyard mechanic, and I love working on my cars. I have a really hard time trusting my vehicles to anyone, because Im a freak about it. But sometimes theres things you dont have time/skills to fix and I never have found a shop I trust that is friendly, fast and honest. Sam got my car in fast and was kind enough to walk me through exactly what needed to be done and show me a few options. He didnt try to up-sell me or lie about costs or push beyond my budget. Took my bike in for some carburetor work on 6-31-19 was told they would start working on it the following week. (Week 1) They did not. They told me they were busy and i was understanding as sometimes things come up. I was told they would get to it the following week. (Week 2) They did not. I was still understanding at this point. I dont remember the excuse they used that time but they said would get to it the following week. (Week 3)Again they did not. they said i should be able to pick it up on friday 8-2-19 (week 4) and be good to go. It was not... in fact it wasnt even at their shop, it was at another shop and i was told they were 3 weeks out. So i ended up going to pick my bike up from the other shop that my bike was sent to (without my consent) still with the same situation i was in a month ago. I decided to choose s&e performance based on the reviews i had read here however i had the complete opposite experience that i had hoped i would. Im not reccomending s&e performance to anyone based on the the fact i was jerked around for 4 weeks and did not have any of the issues sorted out with my bike . Response to your response: firstly and foremostly it was 4 weeks. And outsourcing my bike because of safety issues is laughable. You sent my carbs to be cleaned. That is all i consented to. Not the bike being sent. And you claim 3 weeks of free mechanic work? The bike needed to be re jetted and thats it. Hell i even told you thats what the issue was but due to time constraints i couldnt do it myself. As far as finding more grateful clients good luck to you. I took my bike to you based on the reviews i read here. Maybe this review will save some other person the same nonsense you put me through.
