The lady owner of this store either has some kind of subtle mental issue or she specifically wants something from me but doesnt know how to go about it!!! Im not the type that would flatter myself but each time I go there, she goes above & beyond to be mischievous so I would be forced to talk which she enjoys because her gestures are just absolutely uncalled for. Again, Im very uncomfortable having to consistently trying to get her (an adult) to focus on the grocery transaction that Im really there for. I dont want any discussion, conversation - hers, as far as Im concerned is waaayyy more than merchant/customer normal interaction. All I honestly want is go there, buy stuff and be out!!! Its getting so unconformable now that Im considering not going there anymore but because of the proximity, I cannot make it to the Ike Store in Snellville sometimes. The last time I went there, her husband was there doing other things and I almost requested to be rung up by her husband but I didnt want to cause any issue.Again, Im uncomfortable with her gestures toward me. Im not sure of others. Other than that, I support a local/african store trying to grow.....
Brixton African Market has created a very conducive and friendly atmosphere to shop. Aisles are well spaced and tidy with walkway/floor very clean. all their products/items ae carefully sourced with the highest grade and quality in mind. They even go the extra mile to manufacture some of the food products such as Palm oil, Hausa kooko and grow some farm produce including yams.-exceptional supply chain. Store attendant is readily available to assist if need be. Definitely a nice experience shopping at Brixton African Market. I will go there anytime for my fresh products!
Decent selection, kind service
