Didnt have battery tester but told me my battery was bad. Also my alternator is starting my car now. Im no mechanic but here is how this works for cars. Battery and starter starts your car and your alternator keeps it from dying and recharges your battery while driving.

Im always shopping at many auto parts stores and everyone here is always friendly and helpful. They always recommend the things necessary to help me make a one stop trip for my jobs. I always talk with Danny, Kevin, or Randy and they are the A-Team at this location. Thank you guys

I came in this location to get a battery for my key fob. I pretty much was given the impression I was a bother to the man behind the counter as I was unsure the type of battery it took. I have been going to auto zone for replacement batteries and have NEVER had someone tell me take it to a hyundai dealer maybe they can tell you what battery it takes.. wont be going back again

Kevin and Randy helped me out on Sunday when I was looking for the right oil for my old car. They gave me all the tools and stuff I needed to get the job done right! Awesome customer service!

Chris has the worst customer service skills i have ever experienced in over the phone service. I suggest you ask for anyone else besides this employee because he is not willing to go above and beyond.

Saturday called in and got the pricing and confirmed the items in stock. After driving 20 minutes to the location they informed me that price is 40% higher. I ask the manager Megab to honor the pricing he said the item you want I can’t find so this is substitute and this is the price take it or leave. Very disappointed and loss 45 minutes of my driving time. I could have gone to the store close to my location but come here because they confirmed they have it in stock. Now I am heading to Advance Auto Parts their price is the same and they confirm they have it in stock and picked out if the shelf for me. Will not come to AutoZone again. Consider it a bad service and beaut and switch.

I went there to have my battery checked. The staff was very helpful. They changed the battery for me in no time. On another visit they helped me find batteries for my key fob and the cashier even changed the battery for me and showed me how to do it for my other key fob. Very helpful salesman. Gave me good advice on different brake pads and rotors. Didnt try to upsell me at all, but I chose a more expensive ceramic pad based on the info.Update 8/26: Just wanted to add that Im glad I switched to the ceramic brake pads. Braking is noticeably smoother and quieter than with the semi-metallic pads I usually get. Theyre worth the extra few bucks!

Gave me the wrong wipers for my Explorer. Wont go back to any AutoZone every again. Also, this might seem petty, but the person that was putting on my blades was way too short to do the job, should have asked for help or got a stool. Then when they eventually were put on, the were on wrong, glad I didnt lose a blade driving home. It wasnt snapped in properly.

I made a visit to this Autozone one frigid morning (3 degrees Fahrenheit) and had my car battery replaced. The sales associate (Tom) that helped me was very helpful and professional...He tested the old battery first to let me know whether its good or bad and needed to be replaced. He showed me all the batteries they had in stock and which one made the most sense for me. He removed the old battery, replaced it with the new one and did a nice, thorough job of installing it. Walk in looking to buy mobile one oil for my 2018 Kia stinger gt2 awd twin turbo. countermen Danny in commercial department helped and really educate me on oil viscosity, signs of oil wear on the motor and the difference between synthetic oil. ( 0w 20synthetic- 5w30 synthetic). The motor I bought was the best for my car. I even called the manufacturer in front of Danny. And even the manufacturer ( Kia) said Dan was spot on. I wanted to buy 0w20 and Danny urged me with extreme caring not to use anything beside only other then what Kia recommends while the vehicle is within its warranty duration. Well I have a ten year powertrain warranty. Looks like I will be buying oil and other car care products from this loaction for a least the next ten years, as long as Dan and randy are there to assist me. Between danny and randy I will always drive out of my way to their location. These two gentenalmen are true professional to the core and should be recognized and awarded. Employees with this kind of knowledge base are typically only seen at dealerships. Very impressed. Randy and Dan have earned my and my entire families business. Look forward to my next purchase...which should be soon, looking for a good high speed buffer and some accessories for my new 376 Hp new born baby. The staff here is extremely rude, unhelpful and lazy. Everytime I have been in this store, I have been treated poorly. Today I asked for help to get the proper coolant for my car. Not only was the man rude to me, he refused to show me where to find what I needed in the store or which container was the right one. He stood behind the counter, like all the other employees, the entire time and couldnt be bothered by any of the customers. I will drive the extra distance to go to a respectable location for my auto needs from now on. 3 missed chances for decent customer service at this location was enough for me to say never again.

Duralast wrenches are great, but their 90 day parts warranty stinks.

Heres the thing I needed a battery for a motorcycle and I purchased one from auto zone in Lombard on 1/29/16, Roughly 2 and 3/4 months later (4/23/16)the battery crapped out and does not charge, took it back to auto zone in Lombard and the guy said that it was not in warentee(which they have a 90 day warentee). HUGE HASSLE. We ended up sorting things out, he had me leave the battery there to charge so he could test it in order to warentee the item. The guy said he would call me as soon as it was complete. Called them at 9:45 because I DID NOT receive a call and they said the battery was a bad battery. I showed up at 10:00 which I understand they close at that time, but if it wasnt for the guy that told me to come down I wouldnt have wasted my time. The guy did not say a word and did not acknowledge me when I knocked on the door AND when he walked out to lock up at 10:07. I will be contacting corporate in the morning.

They are dumb. Put parts on hold so you can drive 30 mins and be told itll be there the next day.
