Took my grandfathers old Medium format zeiss camera here to get cleaned and checked over after the shutter locked up a couple times (I was recommended here by another local camera shop that didnt have experience on older cameras).Got my camera back the 1st time and noticed a few things- Clearly heavy handed repairs with added scratches near screws.- On the lens internally (which was to be cleaned) there appeared to be something (looked like a hair or scratch). I immediately brought that up and was told it was added glue to enforce the area but wouldnt effect the image quality. I requested he reopen and clean the camera again (as that is the service I paid for) and he agreed he would.Picked up camera the 2nd time and the glue was still there. Only now I was told it was a deep scratch.. I brought up how poor of service this was why did they lie the first time and was told that the camera came in here with that before... (obviously a false statement). In the end I was told there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation as the camera is from the 1950s.. so now I have a family wartime heirloom with a working shutter but 2/3rds of the frame is blurry.NEVER TRUST THESE FOLKS WITH YOUR PROPERTY.

Went to Olympia Camera Repair to have a lens aperture replaced/ repaired.. Received a call the lens was ready and while examining the lens I noticed the aperture still didnt work properly. Went back for round two of repairs and the lens would no longer focus - the focus worked properly before repair. On the third attempt Olympia Camera Repair informed me they couldnt repair my lens. Lens has more damage then now then before OCR started their work. - NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I went in to get the pop out screen on my video camera fixed as it was dangling a bit and wouldnt close flush. They somewhat fixed the dangling screen, but while they were doing that the broke the screen itself to the point where there was no picture. Now rather than taking responsibility for breaking a perfectly working order screen before I took it in, he tells me stuff happens and hell fix it for $100. This is the least professional place i have been to in my years of living. I dont know how ignorant you have to be to break something and than ask the customer to pay for it to be fixed!!!
