I can not get over how pleased I am with them! I began car searching a long while ago but the final straw was when my old car had to go to the junkyard. I walked around the lot and was greeted by Chad in the parking lot. I instantly went and stated what I was looking for quite matter of fact. He was super nice and instantly said I bet we can get you in a car today. I saw exactly what I was looking for on the lot and he got the keys right away. He really took his time walking around the lot while I shopped helping with questions and concerns. Jared and Cruz helped with all my paperwork and got everything done in a timely matter keeping me informed of the process all along. I was thrilled how I got a great deal! 3 days later I had my check engine light come on. Upon entrance I was greeted by the owner Jim Gollinger who really was concerned and got my car in right away to their service center. They really went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I am beyond thrilled and will definitely be a returning customer!
Cruz is one of the best person you all need to speak to.
I had the best experience buying a used vehicle from 355 North Auto! We worked with Cruz and the manager of the dealership allowed us to have our mechanic look at the car before the purchase. It was in great condition as advertised. The whole process only took a couple hours. Amazing people to work with!
After being rejected so many times, 355. North did they’re thing they came through for Me. When I was at my lowest of giving up.. they went above and beyond. They made sure before I came in that they were gonna be able to assist shout out Cruz.. here I am back on the road. Thanks for going the xtra mile . I definitely would recommend anyone who’s is having trouble give them a call…
I went in explaining how much money I had and what I was looking for. I was to pay cash. Tony and Jim did not try selling me something out of my price range like all the other dealers I went to.. they showed me a nice little Hyundai Sonata. I liked it all except the brake pedal and srearing bounced when braking. They had their service men look at it. They put new brakes and rotors all around and 1 new caliper. This was included in original price which was very reasonable. I picked car up next day and so far so good. I would refer anyone here and will go back myself if need be. They were NOT pushy salesman!!!!!!!
I want to thank Tony & Cruz for a easy and great car purchasing experience! I will be using them again in the future! I love my Chevy Silverado!Thank You 355 North Auto
I went to purchase a Mustang convertible which I had every intention of buying. While on a test drive I commented the car ran rough. Of course it was played down by the salesman. Just as I parked back in the lot the check engine light came on. Strangely enough the salesman knew exactly what the problem was and promised to fix it immediately. While waiting, the finance company they used allegedly insisted on my paying 3 grand on a 6 grand purchase. I refused as I have excellent credit. Salesman said hed work on another finance company. Several days later after no follow up from anyone there. I had enough and went to another dealership where I purchased a beautiful Volkswagen convertible and paid 18, grand. You snooze you lose 355 Auto.
Had a great experience with this dealer. Purchased my Denali six months ago and while i had to make a few repairs which is expected I ran into an issue with the extended warranty I had purchased. Jim went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. I would purchase another car with no worries when needed.
This car dealership is terrible!!! SOLD me a car with lots of problems!!BUYER BEWARE DONT GO HERE !!!!!!!!!!!
Great service and really good people. I bought a car from them 30 minutes before closing, yet the sales man stayed 2 hours to close the deal. I bought a CTS knowing it had suspension issues which where going to get fixed as part of the deal, however, a brake problem popped up and was fixed with out hesitation, knowing it was not part of the agreement. Really thankful and satisfied!
We purchased a truck from here and had a minor issue with it the next day. They made it right and were easy to work with. The buying process went smoothly and I felt they were fair on pricing. A honest small dealership that we would buy from again.
Went to purchase a 2008 Ford F-150 and am very fortunate I paid for a pre purchase inspection at Auto Plus in Lombard. Brake fluid was spraying all over the engine and coolant was also leaking. 355 North told me that this repair shop must be trying to sabotage them because they are a small dealer. Don’t waste your time. They sell junk.
I had a great car buying experience here. I would like to thank both owners and both salesman. I bought the cheapest car on the lot but was treated with respect and honesty. Thanks again to the team at 355 north.
The 1 star review is for the fair will $100 they sent me in the mail. I bought a BMW z4 from them and have had nothing but problems. For starters I was lied to over the phone say the car had a option that it didnt. I was also sent a video showing this option (key less start) buy doing a trick you can do which involves starting the car twice. The vehicle was priced high above blue book so I decided to call and offer what I thought was fair. It took a few days but eventually my officer was accepted. I went and look at the car and a few days later I went to buy it. Car seemed fine saw a few problems but nothing serious enough for me to avoid such a rare car. When I picked the vehicle up the car had been running for what seemed like a hour or so, It was HOT. I did all the paper work and went to drive off and right then a light pops up on the dash PARK it reads. After talking with the salesmen and the owner a little bit we agreed on a deal. This was that they would cover the breaks on the car because this is what was triggering the light. I drove the car home. After a day I called to get things squared up and my parts ordered. After 8 days of talking to them they decided to send me a $100 in the mail. This is to cover the breaks and nothing else. The car needed much more things then this. The oil filter housing was leaking, I was told this was a seep and not covered in the useless 15 day warranty. on my 19th day of owning the car the convertible top becomes stuck and wont lock into place or move at all. Tried to get them to cover it as it will cost me $500-$600 and they are no help stating its a BMW, they are expensive I would avoid them at all costs. Here are the problems I have developed in the car that the dealership wont cover.Top wiring harness ($500-$600)Oil pan ($300)Oil filter housing gasket ($150)Spark Plugs ($75)Coils ($165)Intake manifold gasket ($40)Throttle body gasket ($50)Headlight brackets as the headlight in pushed in probably from a crash ($100)The car has two different brands of tires on it which is bad for the cars axle, needs new tires because of this. Please save yourself the headache and go to a reputable dealer. I have been insulted, lied to, and yelled at by the owner Jim and salesman Carlos. The people who were helpful and I enjoyed dealing with were Penny and the other owner John.
I want to start by saying THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO TOM! Tom helped me from the beginning to finished. He made my experience of buying the car of my dreams happen. while other dealerships did not believe in me, he did. I wish him and his staff the best! The staff are nice and helpful. I am very picky about things and have a hard time about deciding on what i want. But thanks to tom i was able to get the Vehicle that same day. Once again THANK YOU.
These guys are the real deal. I ran into a situation with a vehicle a few days after buying it from this lot. This was the most understanding and honest dealer I have ever felt with. They helped me out more than I could have asked for with my situation and I was back on the road I’m no time. I Definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a used car or truck. Thank you 355 north auto group!!!
I had a wonderful experience with this company. Very nice friendly people here. Took a look and test drove a car and had it the same day. No hassle. They even put gas in the car for me. Great place.Jody
Trash car. I bought a used 2004 Honda civic. I initially came in to negotiate the price they didnt want to move a first but eventually they agreed to do it, knocked 300 of the price. Shouldve knocked 1000 off because thats how much the repairs have costs since then, I bought the car in April of 2020 and its been 3 months. Waste of money and time. I resisted writing a bad review after my first two trips to my mechanic because it was used maybe these were just a few problems that needed to be worked out. But now im sitting at work, car is completely disabled not starting, battery is fine (tested it) and i have feeling my starter might be bad. Dont buy a car here unless your mechanic can look at it first.
I had a very good experience here, I worked with a gentleman named Bob who was very accommodating and made the process for me easy and quick, as my church was involved with this process they were very pleased with how everything went. I will recommend other to check this place out. As for all you haters out there very sorry you had such a hard time maybe you should have asked for a different person to work with not all of the employees that work there are horrible if you are not comfortable with the person you are working with then switch to someone that will work for you then the person who treated you poorly will lose the sale and his pocket will be empty - as for me when it is time for me to get a new car I will go back, if I get that horrible person bet you I will tell them I dont want to work with that person.
I live in another state but bought a truck here. Cruz was the salesman but everyone is very nice and professional, their prices are great and every vehicle I looked at ran perfectly and they were quick to address any problems or questions I had.The truck I ended up buying did have a couple of issues (nothing major, a fan blower and the rain guards), all of which were fixed before I left the lot.I cant recommend this place enough! If you need a good used car and hate pushy, obnoxious salesmen, this is where you need to go.
It was a pleasure buying a used truck from 355 North. They had a great selection at great prices! All of the people were easy to work with. I will be back for my next vehicle! Thanks 355!
This is a great place to come in and get youre car. Mike, Corey and Frank are amazing. They we professional and very friendly. I felt at home.. Thank you guys for helping me make an important decision. (buying my Murano) Im happy with youre service and I recommend everyone to check out 355 Auto..😀
Had purchased a vehicle from this dealership about 2 months ago and I can honestly say at that point in time I was disgusted with the service I got, present day being under new management and actually treating customers with respect I am pleased to say they have bent over backward for me. Keep up the good work Frank and Shawn.
Jim and Penny did a great job! Pre owned Sequoia was waiting and ready for us. Paperwork was ready in 5 minutes!
I wish I was able to put a negative amount of stars. I went in to look at a car for my boyfriend and I. We asked about the car fax and they said “we might be able to get them” we were there for over 3 hours and never saw them. Without giving us any details about what the final price would be they ran both of our credits which is now negatively affecting my credit score. After waiting for 1 hour for “the bank to give them an answer” he took my boyfriend outside to show him a car which was about 7,000 out of our price range which we never asked to see. Then they told us that they wouldn’t give us a loan for 3,000 dollars it had to be 6,000 dollars or more. Honestly this place is a joke. The owner yelled at his workers multiple times while we were there and was extremely unprofessional. We won’t be back and I’ll tell everyone I can not to go there either. Then they told us they would call Monday morning first thing. It’s now Wednesday afternoon and we haven’t heard a word back. I bought a car from Fox valley ford a month ago and they were awesome. Save yourself some time and stress and go somewhere else
Super nice people. Great car. Willing to move on price to meet our budget. Super smooth closing. Overall awesome buying experience.
Terrible, unorganized and liars. Made a deal with the sales man and owner for my trade plus money on top of my trade for Tax Title and plates out the door, witch they agreed to. Then about a month later I get a message from them saying they’re not covering the plates and I have to, and was told at this time all the paper work was filed (title transfer) and the only thing they were waiting on was the plates. So now over a month later they tell me they just filed the paper work with the state for the title transfer a week ago. How are these guys even open for business? Not filing paper work for over a month and a half? What a joke NEVER again will me or anyone I know do business with this “dealer” so unprofessional.
The owner is rude and unprofessional. I walked in to test a vehicle and the owner then got disrespectful because I test drove a vehicle and did not purchase. I would not recommend anyone to this dealership for purchase.
#BrentHirschmansMoneyBackMy brother bought a Trailblazer here. It broke down within the first 50 miles. The salesman told him he had to tow it back at his own expense. Then, the owner said they would have towed it themselves, but never offered a refund for the tow expenses. They had the vehicle repaired, then it broke down 50 miles from the shop again. They had it towed back. Now it has been sitting there for at least 10 days, and theyre not communicating back. They have his money and vehicle, and not letting him know anything about what is going on with it. Very shady place. Please do not do business here. FYI, I believe the positive reviews on here are from the employees of the dealership.
If I could have given the place -5 stars I would have. I found the ad in a Facebook marketplace posting. The VIN for the vehicle showed the information was different than the truck actually was....car fax said truck was in a minor accident and the sales guy (Sam) said well that doesnt affect the value of a vehicle at all. The truck was also sold 3 times now and hadnt gotten any miles on it from the other 2 dealers to them (they are the 3rd dealer now). I was told the vehicle was a hidden gem and a diamond in the rough by Sam on the phone. The vehicle had a bunch of history codes on it when I had scanned it (Im a certified mechanic and over 5 years experience myself) I was told that isnt an issue (knowing it is) the brakes were rusted, shocks rotten out, the bed rails were going, the oil pan was leaking among many of things. I didnt even make an effort to test drive the vehicle. Dont waste your time like I did and if you do either bring a mechanic or have a 150 point inspection done from a reputable shop. The attached photo is of the vehicle backed into a fence on their lot....some real diamond in the rough i tell ya
I bought a used Ford Mustang from this dealership about two months ago. There was a problem with the car that turned out to be difficult to diagnose (by Ford, even!) however Thomas, John and the rest of the staff stuck by me to “make it right.” When it looked as though the problem might not be easily repairable, John was the first to mention the possibility of giving me a refund or finding a suitable replacement. I never had to get impatient or angry with them. Despite the problem with the car, this was still one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had.The problem was eventually determined to an electronic one and repaired. My Mustang and I are getting along great.
Manager is very rude and inconsiderate! Clearly he was not hugged enough as a child. Such a shame as the mechanics are very helpful and friendly.
We did not have a good experience at 355 North Auto. At first they told us the vehicle we were looking at had a deposit on it waiting for financing. So, we were about to leave and magically the financing fell through for the other person. We test drove the car, and it ran a little rough. We got back to the dealership and noticed an issue with the radio. The sales person tried to work on it and then the car wouldnt start! They were trying to explain what was wrong, but it just didnt make sense. We walked out and felt fortunate we didnt buy a vehicle there
Nice people specially frank and I forget 2 persons name but I had good experience . Last year I purchased Kia still I am driving thanx to all who behave gently. Keep it up.
Really nice cars, and friendly staff. The finance options were good too. Thanks!
Great people very helpful workin on a deal now either way great people honest and fair
I highly recommend doing business with this dealership. My buying experience with them was great. Corey and Mike in the sales officewere very professional, cordial and respectful. The manager Frank Montalvu went above a beyond what most typical dealerships do for their customers. In my previous experiences at other places they didnthonor their word when they told me the car was in excellent working orderprior to my purchase. Frank assured me everything was in great mechanical order because he checked it out personally. He was a man of his word because my Cadillac CTS runs great and looks great and Frank even replaced the battery in my key fob for me today. The last dealership charged me 200 bucks for this and it was probably just a battery! I believe that people make the difference in business, so please advise your family and friends to go over to 355 North Auto to make their next used car purchase they have an awesome team over there!
I got a awesome Toyota seinna van good price and Bob McAllister took good care of me hats off to Bob
Great place. They have nice cars. Would definatley recomend buying a car from there
#BrentHirschmansmoneyback!!!!!Do not buy here, cousin bought car, didnt even make it home before it broke down Several times w different issues. Dealership refuses to give his money back, even thought it was THE SAME DAY!
Stay away from this dealership this place is not a good place to buy a car I came from Michigan all the way here just to find out they didn’t know what they were doing what they were selling stay away from here. This place is a total scam!!!!
Frank was vary helpful and understanding person.Would recommend this place to anyone .
If I could give this place no stars I would. None of those men held themselves in a professional manner. The initial dealer I talked with, John who was new, knew next to nothing on how to manage the transaction. The general manager, Greg, also was not helpful. Trying to purchase a car took longer than it should have. The first car I looked at was a great option for me, but they did not have a key for the ignition to actually test drive the Nissan. That was all on Saturday. Today, Monday, we came back because the 2011 Nissan Sentra I finally managed to buy from them needed to be detailed. I had told them I would be there around noon. Came out a little later becuase of how disorganized the company is thinking they needed the extra time. My car is not there, and not one of those employees could tell me where it was. After 15 minutes, I was told that it was still in the shop and wouldnt be done until 2:30. My family and I live an hour away, and they expected us to wait for an hour. Unacceptable. The general manager didnt talk to me or my family about the problem. Some man named Chris, who is not an employee just a friend of the owner, talked to my family and I today. We told him the situation and be proceeded to make a nuisance of himself by acting flippant, nonchalant and making jokes about the situation. The general manager and the other employee John, just stood outside smoking doing absolutely nothing to help us. My family and I requested for them to drive the car out today, and he joked thay they would have it there at the end of the week. Thats not funny, and its just rude when I came out as planned to pick up my car that day.I would not recommend this place to anyone. The lack of professionalism, being very disorganized, and flippant attitude is just inappropriate.
We called on a Nissan Sentra to ask if it’s still there. “Dan” said yes but just got it in so it hasn’t gone through inspection yet hence the low price. (Whatever that means) Jumped in our car since he said he’ll wait for us. 30 minutes later pulled in asked for “Dan” and this other guy said what are you looking for? We describe the Sentra. In an irritated voice he said he sold that days ago. What?!! SUCH LIARS ON SO MANY LEVELS!! Clearly this place is shady and a waste of my time
If I could give this review a 0 I would recently I purchased a van from them it broke down a day later they wouldnt give me my money back I missed 2 weeks of work without pay I had to get the van fixed it still over heats and Im stuck with a $300 a month note. Dont buy anything from them
They ended up returning me and my husbands money after asking for several weeks. The car we bought from there broke down 2 times on separate occasions and it was a major part! After being toyed around with for weeks and lied to, jon finally agreed to give our money back.
This place is your typical used car type joint from the 70’s. Stay away!! I called on a car that seemed too good to be true and they gave me the old “no the car looks great but hasn’t been through our shop so come on in and take a look at it before someone else buys it! That was my first clue. But considering I was referred to the place I figured hey why not I don’t live too far. Then I get there and ask to see the car and drive it. Well let’s just say I would have gotten further in the flinstones car because all of a sudden mechanically this car had a bad transmission and a bunch else wrong with it. Then I had this big budda guy tell me well we have lots of other cars that you can look at while you are here. Come on guys if that isn’t a simpleton old trick I don’t know what is. My 5 year old could have come up with that one. I mean with the internet of today’s word I know if I were the owner I would not want this kind of reputation but that’s just me. Anyway steer clear of the balding budda who thinks he is slick when really he uses car tactics that are from when cars were sold in this 70’s. I don’t know maybe I just didn’t realize I was on the set of the filming of the movie “Used Cars 2” as an extra.
0 Stars.Refused to supply Carfax for a vehicle they listed.Salesman Michael Rutter instead opted to debate with me that it was an expense to the company and they need to make money.I would never do business with a dealer who refused to supply a Carfax report because its costs them too much money. I could not recommend you buy elsewhere more strongly.
Bought a nice Subaru Outback from these guys ( John ). The price was good but the service was great. After buying the car, I found a small amount of seepage on the valve cover, I called them 2 weeks later and they told me to bring it in and they woukd take care of it. I was a little skeptical at first, but I dropped the car off the next morning and they called me at 2:00 pm to tell me it was done. I went to pick up my car to find a new gasket and the car washed and ready to go. When I asked John what I owed he said absokutly nothing... thank you for your business . Should the valve cover seepage have been caught ? Maybe ? Maybe not ? ( it was very minor ). All I know is that it was taken care of professionally and I got a very good feeling that these guys are stand up guys who stood behind their cars. I will bring my daughter there to buy her next car there this summer. Very good transaction ! Thank you guys !!Jpb
Very friendly helpful people here
Johns a good man and returned my money.
These guys over here are awesome great service and willing to work hard to make sure you are 100Completely satisfied thanks for all you do
*Advise to read it all* I bought a Subaru Forrester at a really reasonable price from this dealership & brought it to an actual Subaru dealership to do a inspection but before doing so the check engine light came on barely 20 miles into having it. Which means they had to of reset it before leaving it to sit in the parking lot. Subaru then told me it had leaking head gasket it and a shot coil, basically a $2,000-$3,000 job at least.Basically I shouldve brought up this burning smell after my test drive, I said it quietly sort we to myself and the dealer Luis didnt really acknowledge it, Ill admit that but regardless any of these issues wouldve been ridiculously obvious to a really good or even a moderate technician as soon as they got it to inspect!Which clearly they dont have unless they ignored the issues, and yes they said to bring it back and would fix it for free but I cant trust it being a good job or with quality parts so I bit the bullet and getting decided to forget these clowns and get it fixed correctly at Subaru with genuine Subaru parts! Because Id rather do that and have 100k+ miles rather than having to come back every 20-40k miles to do a big boy job. Also the motor on the rear windshield is backwards cause it shoots the wiendshield down instead of across the window smh.Theyre lucky I got it for as cheap as I did and got a decent deal at subaru, regardless I would not trust these guys. Just another typical used car dealership.
Was in to buy a bmw unfortunately the car just wasnt what we were looking for, we worked with Michael and he was amazing however the other two working on financing and more of the details gave me shady car salesmen vibes and we just didnt want to deal
Would not provide carfax report. Shady dealer. BUY ELSEWHERE!

Great place to buy a car!!!
I drove for 2.5 hours to a scheduled appointment to look at a 2003 Nissan. When I got there Matthew told me the car was sold earlier in the day! He then tried to sell me a car 1000 more than the car I wad originally going to buy!!
Worst mistake I ever made hey lie to u just for quick money Harass you into making a deal right din in there without giving time to think it over and car mess up get it fix something else mess up again In I just bought it a few days ago Thats the sad part
