Directions: follow the whim! Yes, I arrived in Lombard and wanted coffee. You know..and a treat! Why not? So, I asked Siri for ideas and she was directing me to Crescent Street. But, in the process there was this great little corner coffee spot. Actually, it turns out the name is The Corner House. Hopefully, you, too, will find it by divine guidance😎🌞

Great coffee shop out in the western suburbs. Art from local artists are displayed throughout the entire coffee shop which can all be bought. Service is quick. Prices are cheap and the coffee is great. Wouldnt mind making a trip out here again.

We found The Corner House on Google and decided to give it a shot because we were looking for a new cute, local coffee shop. Im so glad we came! The place was so cozy and cute with beautiful artwork and furniture. The baristas were super nice and the drinks we ordered were not only delicious, but also like half the price of Starbucks! We also got some pastries that were delish! 😊😋

I went here for a business meeting. The atmosphere was great in a cozy interior. The tea was excellent and very nicely presented. The staff was friendly and the Wifi worked well. Certainly a nice place to have a coffee and hang out.

Very nice coffee house, and very good coffee. I loved my cortado and cappuccino was really good as well. The shop is exactly a corner of the house in downtown Lombard, and its is a very cute area itself. Im glad that I found this place!

The corner house offers a consistent, quality cup of coffee with espresso that is significantly above the majority of chain coffee shops and a warm, welcoming environment.Four stars only for the following reasons: furniture inside is a bit worn and beat-up, which is unfortunate considering their overall art aesthetic throughout the space. The food menu could use a little refinement or expansion.

If you enjoy a local spot with good prices and delicious coffee, youll love Cornerhouse. The coffee they serve is delightful, and they have a multitude of different flavors that can be combined. Their prices are extremely reasonable for such good coffee, and you can get a large there for around the same price as a small at Starbucks with no sacrifice in quality.The shop itself is cute and quirky, which personally appeals to me. The potpourri of different furniture and the multitude of artwork on the walls gives the place a very homey feel, and there is even a fireplace to sit by. Though there are usually a fair amount of people there, there is always enough space and very short wait times.All of this has made Cornerhouse one of my favorites places to go. Whenever I want to see some friends or meet with my book club, I take them to Cornerhouse because it is such a lovely experience. I definitely recommend you give it a taste.

Drove from about 15 minutes away. Great indoor environment staff looked friendly too, but quality of my drink wasterrible. It was literally steamed milk with no coffee. I ordered 2 lattes and disappointed with both. I wanna give the benefit of the doubt and just attribute it to the fact that the barista might have been new.

This place is so delicious! Came here from out of town with my friend and loved their raspberry mocha and almond croissant! We would highly recommend!

Cozy atmosphere and good coffee

This coffee is a favorite treat on my way to the office. I love some of the creative drinks, especially the Cat Fight. It is also a go-to spot to meet up with a colleague or friend to work. Good coffee, great space, lots of light, wifi.

Best Honey lavender latte in town. Chill place, can study and some comfy seating too.

Cozy place. Polite baristas and a unique menu. Coffee was good. Also a good art gallery. I recommend the Raspberry Mocha. I went there with someone special and it made it a specal experience. ❤️Will definitely go again.

Coffee and blueberry muffin delicious! Love the coziness and the art on the wall (also for sale). The only reason I gave only 4 stars is due to no handicapped entrance, not even railings for the stairs. I had to have help to get up. Im already dreading when I have to leave. If you have a walker or wheelchair, forget it..

Its clean and well lit, but it feels more like home and has better seating than one of those corporate coffee chains. Corner House is a great place to do work or chat with friends. The baked goods are delicious, and the coffee is excellent. Ask the staff for recommendations if youre not used to ordering at a coffee shop. Theyre very helpful and friendly.The store is in the middle of downtown Lombard within a block of the train station, and within a few blocks of both the Prairie Path and the Great Western Trail, so its extremely walkable. Im definitely going to frequent this place.

Great coffee. Cute interior with really good vibes. They have soy and almond milk for people who are dairy free. They have a unisex bathroom that is a private room with a sink in it. They also have local artists art displayed for purchase or casual viewing on the walls. I highly recommend this place.

The barista was really nice. Attentive and helpful. We got a mango smoothie and a mint mocha latte both of which were delicious.

This is a very nice and cozy coffee place and a real benefit to Downtown Lombard. I see from the other comments this place is dog friendly and someone did have their dog inside today. I had the Tea Chai Latte which was very well done.

I love The Corner House. My friends and I swing in here all the time. Its quiet but not like a library. They have tons of unique ways to make a latte or other drink similar to Starbucks. They have muffins and other small items. The other thing I really like about them is they help other small businesses in regard to the economy - they sell local art and use local coffee beans.

Gave me a sample of their coffee, and greeted me with a warm smile and a nice little conversation. Top-notch atmosphere; with a random glance, there’s some gorgeous art to gaze at. It’s busier in the morning, for sure, but it still feels relaxed, and their coffee is still delish. Expect to see me here again soon!

I love this place. Ive lived in lombard my whole life and never had a real coffee shop to call home. It has a great atmosphere, drinks are priced well, and you support a local store. Will always keep coming here.

Corner House is the definition of cozy and delicious (as other reviewers have described). Theres much to choose from, but my favorite drink is their peanut butter latte. Seriously, try it - you wont regret it. Add in the friendliness of the staff and baristas, and even a 5/5 rating is an understatement. I will continue to frequent Corner House as long as Im in town!

Lack of awareness for repeat customer. I frequent this establishment once or twice a week and never have once ordered a drink to go. I make sure to tell them the order is for stay and when Im not watching them prepare the drink, they insist on using single use cups. Please understand customer preferences.

Great place to hang out. It was a really nice atmosphere with sturdy tables. At many coffee shops the tables are small and often flimsy. At the corner house the tables are large enough for a book and a computer and sturdy. It also is large enough that you can still find a seat when its busy. There was no one there when we came in and there were about 30 people when we left but it still wasnt cluttered. I will go again

Cool vibe in here. Trendy sort of spot. Quiet and homey - good for studying or for slow pace coffee enjoyment. Surprised to see a number of food options capable of making it a meal.

Awesome staff, who are great with recommendations. Any drink can be iced and they have some clever custom ones. Seating can be really tight here, however, with plenty of studiers with laptops who are camped for the long-term. Occasional love music is fun.

This is a dog-friendly coffee house! Great drinks and snacks selection, except they dont have as many gluten free options as many other coffee houses in the area. They are located very close to Lilacia Park, so I like to come here before or after a walk in the park.

Being a new coffee drinker I have been trying to skip Starbucks when I can and visit local coffee shops. I found this one in downtown Lombard. The atmosphere was warm with plenty of seating and a fireplace to sit by. The staff was very friendly with average prices for their great coffee.

Wonderful cozy shop with very nice baristas and good coffee. There is plenty of space to work on a laptop and the wifi is good. Drinks are always well crafted. Theres a good menu of suggested flavored lattes, but you can do whatever youd like as well. They use Tugboat Coffee (Addison, IL), and its great. They also sell it whole bean. Highly recommended.

I love the atmosphere here. Great teas and variety of caffeine drinks. Prices are pretty average for a coffee shop. The staff are friendly and unique.My only disappointment with this place is their hours. They are constantly changing them and have recently started closing at 7pm instead of 9pm (which was when I spend most of my time there).Other than that this place is awesome! Oh and new music is always on so thats refreshing.
