I had been to 2 different dress shops before I went to strut and let me say my experience at strut was amazing. You’re greeted as soon as you walk in and everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. The person that was helping me was ARIANA and she was AMAZING! she made me feel so welcomed and when she helped me try on dresses she made me feel so comfortable. I felt like I’ve known her all my life when I had just met her that day . I definitely recommend this dress shop. Ariana thank you again for making me feel like a regular person and not just a plus sized girl trying to find a dress just like all the other dress shops make you feel like.

Strut is the best! The VIB option is so cool and definitely worth it, it was a nice touch to enjoy champagne and treats while I was shopped for. Catherine is literally amazing and made my experience so special and memorable. She played my favorite music so I could test if my form fitting dress was truly “danceable” - I laughed so much! Not to mention how comfortable she made me feel during the process. She was so thoughtful with her choices and really listened to what I wanted. She even remembered my wedding day earrings were pearl and picked out the perfect veil with pearls on it for me. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the day and how grateful I was to Catherine for making it such a special time for me! I walked out with a gorgeous dress and veil that I can’t wait to wear. Xoxo

When I went to Strut Bridal, it was the very first time I went looking for wedding dresses. They were very nice and made me feel extremely comfortable. Their dress selection is gorgeous and they are very size inclusive. The store looks beautiful and is very clean. One of the best parts about the experience was working with Kellee to find my dress. She has a great eye for helping you pick dresses that match your style. Kellee made the experience absolutely great and we were able to find the perfect dress the first visit. 10/10 would highly recommend.

I just wanted to give a review and a big thank you to my wonderful stylist Ariana!!! We came in two weeks ago to the Long Beach location and she was amazing! When speaking to her about my ideas and inspirations she delivered and was on point. She was very open to any ideas I had and made my experience so much fun. Her and her team helped in giving me a preview of what I would look like on my wedding day and it brought me to tears.You have a great team at the Long Beach location with amazing customer service! So happy I said yes to the dress.

I found the perfect dress with the help of Catherine. She knew the history behind the empire lace -all types of lace, fabrics, styles actually. I tried on a few dresses of different styles and colors but I came back to the first. Catherine listened to the factors affecting my selection (time crunch, elopement, move to another state, and budget) and still made it happen.

I went into my appointment at Strut with very specific ideas of what I was looking for in a wedding dress, and not expecting to find it. I had scoured the internet and thought I knew what I wanted. But I thought it would still be worth it to check them out, especially since Strut carries dresses that are exclusive to the store.I was also very happy that Strut carries samples in plus sizes so I didnt have to just imagine how a dress might look on me, but actually see it! In fact, I drove an hour each way just for that reason.Avery was super nice and helpful! He listened to me tell him what I was looking for and pulled out lots of great options for me to try, but ultimately THE dress ended up being the one I saw in the window as I walked up! Which of course was nothing like what I thought it would be. Im soooo happy I came to Strut!! I love my dress so much and cant wait til April so I can finally wear it again!

Better than I ever could imagine. Kellee was a total dream come true. I’m the type of bride who honestly was dressing wedding dress shopping. My body is curvy and I didn’t want the dresses to make me feel yucky in my skin because I would have to squeeze myself into samples that were too small. But the dress selection at Strut was made for bodies like mine!!! On top of that Kellee took my idea of what I said I wanted- pulled those types of dresses, and then also pulled a wild card dress just so I could see something different… low and behold that was actually THE dress!!!! She has an amazing eye and made my experience one I truly could never replace. I’m so so so thankful I didn’t just order a dress online based on what I thought I wanted because Kellee found the perfect one to make me feel like a true bride! If I could give 50 stars I would!

Tamiko helped us out the first round and she was absolutely fantastic! I just like the vibe she gave us and the fact that she got me to feel so special and try dresses that I thought will look hideous on my body. She really makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. This place is judgement free and makes you feel like a queen.

Terrible experience. I gave the stylist tons of pictures of what I was looking for and she only showed me thing that I would never wear and didnt even take into account what I wanted. Decided on a dress and was promised that sleeves could be added. Went with the seamstress she recommended from the partner salon. Hayam shehata completely ruined the dress. She left holes on the sides, the bust uneven, no sleeves, the hem is GLUED and uneven. She also had the audacity to ask me the night before I am due to pickup the dress to go to her house instead because the sleeves and the hem are not done. She rushed the job even tho she had the dress for 3.5 months. I am disappointed and hope no one goes to her. I am now scrambling to find a dress for my wedding that is in 4 days.

Strut was the first bridal shop I went to and I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first wedding dress shopping experience. Kellee was my stylist and from the moment she greeted us, I knew it was going to be a fun experience. It truly was! I found a beautiful dress that day but couldn’t make the decision without my mom being present so Kellee made an appointment for the weekend. When I came back with my mom and sister, Kellee was just as friendly, fun and patient as the first time. I thought the first dress was magical but after going to other bridal shops before our second appointment, I wasn’t sure if I wanted something else. Kellee listened to what I liked and didn’t like about dresses I’ve tried on and found THE dress that incorporated everything that I wanted. I’m not sure how she did it but the dress she found for me put every other dress I’ve ever tried on to shame. Thank you, Kelle, for helping me find my perfect dress! You’re the best! Absolutely amazing experience. We Went to Davids bridal before my appt here and I was so discouraged by the lack of everything. They had nothing to fit me and it was just awful overall. Hardly any help. We Came to Strut afterwards and fell in love with every single dress I tried on and the experience. Paid for the VIB package with champagne and treats and it was awesome! Every single person working in there was so kind and sweet and a HUGE shoutout to Tamiko for picking amazing dresses for me and for being so incredible with helping me. I said yes to my dress! Went there for my Tias dress hunt and the staff was beyond amazing and helpful, they made sure my aunt felt she was a priority and they also explained everything to about options without beating around the bush. Jessica was incredible! Strut was my third salon and I was feeling overwhelmed by the wedding gown shopping process. A few days before my appointment Jessica texted asking for inspiration photos, a Pinterest page, and my wedding location. When I arrived Jessica had a few dresses already in the fitting room that she thought I’d like. I browsed around and we chatted and I tried on the first dress. It was a combination of all of the elements of the pictures I had sent in advance. The fit was impressive considering that it was a sample. We continued to go through the process of trying on the others she had pre-selected, a few that caught my eye on the floor, and a couple my best friend liked and wanted to see me in. But through all of the rest of the dresses I couldn’t get the first dress Jessica put me in out of my head. It was dreamy and venue appropriate and made me feel like me, not like I was playing dress-up! After trying several dresses Jessica suggested I put the original dress (my favorite) back on, but sans bra! I was extremely hesitant with my 38I bust but she clamped me in and I was sold! I couldn’t believe I stayed ‘up and in’ and she did a very good job convincing me that with alterations, I may be able to get away (comfortably!) with no bra. I bought my dress that day and I canceled all of my other upcoming salon appointments. It was such a relief to not only find a dress, but to not in any way feel like I was settling. I cannot wait to wear my gown from Strut! Thank you for finding me my dream dress, Jessica!!!

Horrible horrible horrible experience. Tomiko was a complete nightmare of a woman. I reached out to the owner because I was so shocked and appalled by her behavior and this is what I get. I have worked in events for over a decade and have never treated someone like this. The owners response says more than I could ever say.Leila, every single plus size person who has worked in our stores knows first hand the frustration and disappointment that can come from trying to find clothing that they love. Many of us have suffered a lifetime of heartache, even when we love ourselves and know we deserve better. Plus size people deserve better.I reviewed the full recording of the encounter and spoke with both consultants. They really tried to help you find an alternative to the green ballgown you were looking for and that we did not have in the store. Tamiko didnt understand, until you were in the store, that you were unwilling to consider other options. Julie DID show you wedding dresses under $1000 but you chose not to try any on.There is literally nothing my staff wont do to help a bride. We have dressed brides from head to toe and done alterations by our own hands and sent them out the door to get married the same day. Our brides are gracious, grateful and open minded. You were none of those things. Its unfair to bring your anger and past frustration into my store and make these false accusations.Brides have every right to be picky - its an important garment for their big day. But its also unfair to blame us for not having an emerald green ballgown for under $300 in store for an event in three weeks and in a specific size. The constraints you brought us are not our fault. My staff gave you alternative options for finding a gown on a short timeframe and even gave you information for our seamstress who makes custom garments. They deserved a thank you, not a public excoriation. Hundreds of five star reviews show Tamiko provides excellent customer service.Im really sad for your experiences shopping for a gown in the LA area. But Im even sadder for my staff that showed you compassion and options when others did not and still had to read your public comments. Nevertheless, I can offer you the same support I would offer any Strut client - we can do a virtual consultation with my Arizona staff. That store carries more formal gowns, as stated on our website (and have do have a gorgeous emerald green ballgown with gold flecks; no beading and it is strapless). If youd like to try any on, Im happy to transfer them to the LB store at no cost. I am happy to put a call out to my bridal store owners across the country to see if any of them might have the perfect gown to ship you. This is the most amazing bridal salon! As a plus size bride I have had trouble finding the right dress. I found Strut bridal salon from a google search. It was kind of a far drive from my house but I just said the hell with it and booked the appointment anyway. Let me tell you... Im so happy I did!!! From the second I walked in there, I felt so at home. Maritza was perfect!! She totally got me and the first dress she pick for me was THE ONE! I tried on more but nothing could beat the first dress! (Even thought they where all so amazing) Everything about the staff and quality of the dresses exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Strut to everyone!! So happy I found they!

Ri was my personal consultant for my Covid safe bridal experience. I brought my mother and I have to say that I could not have had a better experience. It started a little bit before my appointment with Ri asking for Pinterest boards and screen shots to see what I was considering, which I thought was lovely. She was so kind in store and very concisions of wearing her mask and not getting to close accept when in the dressing booth. Ri made me feel great and really listened to my thoughts about my likes and dislikes. I never felt rushed and she did really well anticipating my questions by having options available to me. I also appreciate how upfront everything was when I did purchase my dress (yes I purchased a dress at my first appointment, which never happens), it made me feel very confident in my purchase. Her sense of style and color matching was also so on point, she suggested a tiara that matched my engagement ring and dress so perfectly that my mother bought it on the spot!I had originally shopped in store for a bridesmaid gown over 5 years ago and was so impressed then that I made it my first stop in my shopping experience when it was my turn to tie the knot.

For plus size woman looking for a dress that will fit, this is the place. The host or server will be helpful and very sweet to you, but do not be fooled. They will say sweet words to you so that you do as they suggested, but in the end they will take your money with hidden contract clauses and company policy. I was told that if I put $100 down on a dress, they can hold a discount price and if I choose not to go with the dress, the $100 would go to store credit. Well guess what, thats not true. I didnt sign anything or any contract, but apparently my deposit was an agreement that if I didnt go with their dress, the $100 would be used as a cancellation fee. If I had known that - I wouldnt put anything down - or I would have known the risk before agreeing to anything. But they talk to you in such sweet Barbie voice that when you are trying to reason with them, they can only say sorry no. I was not looking for a refund, I was hoping I could use the store credit to buy something else in their store, but no. Since I am not going for the dress in their store, they took my money. My advice is to look at dresses, dont put anything down unless you know you want that dress.

I didnt think Id be able to find a dress I liked, let alone a dress I was IN LOVE with...but I said yes the THE DRESS at Strut Bridal in Long Beach! Winifred and her team made me feel comfortable and confident and she knew when I had found THE ONE cause in that short time she got to know me enough that she noticed my whole face light up and my confidence come shining through when I put my dress on! I went to Strut first out of 4 bridal appointments I had set for a girls weekend. This was my second time going dress shopping and I struggled before finding anything I liked in my size. This was so frustrating since I had a vision already created in my mind of what my perfect wedding dress would look like. When I arrived at Strut, this was no longer a problem. Tamiko was very helpful in finding dresses for me in the style I liked that I could actually try on! She even had me put on the proper under garments so we could all see what it would actually look like on my big day. We played around with accessories and sleeves to find a unique look. Since Im a Libra I had to still weigh out all of my options before making my final decision, but wish I had not wasted more time looking. I ended up coming back to order one of the first dresses she put me in. She was even able to order my dress with many customization so that I had the exact color and train length I wanted. As a plus sized bride, I like many other brides was afraid of not being able to find a beautiful wedding dress in my size that would also complimented my curves. I was very nervous to go wedding dress shopping, and honestly tried to avoid it. However, all the bridal consultants were amazing, helpful, and patient. The dress selection was great. I especially loved how they had the trunk show with the designer. I was able to talk with the designer and figure out a dream dress. I am so happy I went to Strut when looking for my dress. I am a plus size girl and I am also very tall 63 to be exact! The first salon I went to was just embarrassing, the lady helping me literally had me holding up dresses to myself and having me picture it in my head. No Bride should have to do that especially when looking for the dress for their once in a lifetime day. Strut was my second dress shop I went to, as I walked in I just had a great feeling that this place would be the place where I find my dress. I felt so welcomed and normal. My name was on their welcome board and I was just greeted the minute I walked in. Tamiko helped me the entire time and I was very indecisive. The best part is most of their dresses fit me so I could try them on. She helped me find my dress and not only that she gave me the confidence boost I needed. My experience at strut salon was just as I imagined it would be one day when I would be looking for a wedding dress! I went in looking for something very specific but it turned out what I was looking for I actually didnt like on me at all but they were very patient with not only my picky taste but my opinionated family as well! Great Experience! I had a horrible experience looking for a wedding dress until I went to Strut. Worn out and turned off with the whole wedding dress process after trying to try on a bunch of dresses at other salons (at least 8) I found Strut. I traveled from Wash, DC to LA to go there. I checked out some others in LA while I was there but Strut was by far the best. Tamiko is awesome! I didnt feel like I was in a plus store. I felt like I was in a bridal salon where the dresses fit me like any other woman. Tamiko and the other girls in the store were personable and fun. They brought us glasses for our champagne and shared snacks with us. They had all types of dresses in a fun, trendy, loft style environment. Dont forget to ask Tamiko for the magic slip. Its awesome and will make you look amazing :) On top of that, its important to support the 12+ bridal boutiques so that they can grow and expand. Happy shopping girls.

I walked in to Strut Bridal (by myself) with no hope and totally broken. In all my research online and bridal shops I had been to, I hadnt found anything even close to fitting my super-size, plus size body. I explained briefly the look that I wanted and, within minutes, Ann brought me the dress of my dreams. But, the best part? IT FIT! I was astounded! Maritza helped put it on me and helped me accessorize it. She even thought of things that my excited, fuzzy mind couldnt think of.... like taking a picture of me in it. Duh! lol. The day my cousin and I walked into Sturt Bridal was the day we found our wedding dresses! From the beginning we were both excited and nervous about shopping for wedding dresses for the first time. But our consultant Anne was very nice and knowledgeable. She helped us narrow down our dresses until we found the exact dress that we wanted! Besides Anne the whole staff was friendly and supportive until the very last dresses we tried on, we left as two very happy brides!

Best place to buy wedding dresses specially if you are a plus size bride. My consultant Tamiko is great, she has a great eye for detail and knows how to make a bride feel great. I was so worried that i would not find the perfect dress but I did. Thank you so much Strut.

I had visited MANY dress stores looking for my perfect dress...On a fluke I made an appointment at Strut Bridal. The night before my mother & sister, who were supposed to come with me, got really sick, so I went by myself. Tamiko was AMAZING! We had a blast, and i found the most amazing dress ever! It was such a positive experience, I would go back and buy a dress there for a party from their selection of bridesmaids dresses. They were nice, and not pushy about me walking out with a dress, which took alot of the pressure off. It was a great experience.

I did not believe that the wow feeling existed for me, but boy was I wrong. I came in to Strut in a panic after my dress from Alfred Angelo was a complete bust. I was nervous and jaded about the dress buying process, but the girls at Strut made everything such a GREAT experience.Initially, they put a dress in the dressing room that I didnt think I was going to like at all. On the hanger it was just.. eh. When I put it on, it felt like the skies opened and the heavens were singing because I FOUND THE ONE!I was literally going OK, CAN I GIVE YOU MY MONEY NOW? LIKE RIGHT NOW? I am a last minute bride, so that means they could only pull certain styles for me. I thought that meant samples ONLY, but no.. they did something that no other salon ever did for me, look and see if my size was in stock so they could order it and rush it over.So.. in one week, I am going to receive the dress of my dreams. Not in a month, not in 4 months, not in 6 months, in ONE WEEK!Thank you so much, Strut! You definitely brightened up this brides YEAR.

I couldnt recommend this bridal salon enough for plus size ladies! Yulina was my consultant for my appointment. She is extremely nice and patient when it came down to my indecisiveness. I was so nervous but she put my anxiety at ease. She even stayed for an extra half hour over my appointment time to make sure i found the right dress. This salon has a wide range of plus size wedding dresses and separates so you could make your own dress, and bridesmaid dresses. I found my dream dress here and it didnt break the bank! Once again, I highly recommend this salon for your dress needs

Strut Bridal is an amazing & beautiful bridal boutique. From the moment I walked in, my wedding dress shopping prayers were answered. Tamiko & all the other consultants made my experience very easy, relaxing, & enjoyable. Because seeing them on the hanger vs my body was already a problem for me. But! It was quite the contrary! Maggie was most helpful & patient with me. As I was torn between two dresses. Strut on over to Strut!

It is worth the drive. Selection is small but it doesnt matter because you will fall in love with a dress there. The dresses actually do something for your shape instead of making you look bigger like other big box stores

I visited Strut in August on a visit from the Bay Area. It was my first visit to a bridal salon, and I really didnt expect to leave with a dress. But I did! I had such an amazing time, tried on tons of gorgeous dresses, and fell in love with my own. I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you have to travel to get to Strut.

It was the best experience one could hope for. Being a plus size bride I was concerned with what my options were, but at Strut Bridal they met all of my expectations of what a bridal gown shopping experience should be. Tamiko was awesome. She kept me in my budget and help me find the most beautiful gown. She was fun and made me and my bridesmaids feel very confortable. I would highly recommend this salon. The attention I received was awsome and I loved that they had a seamstress that could do my alterations.

Very disappointed.Martiza was a good salesperson although overall it was a bad experience. She sold me my dress, took my credit card and only AFTER she took the money did she make me sign a form stating the dress was final sale. She assured me the dress could be let out two sizes but when it was altered by their seamstress, Petra, she told me this was not true nor possible. She fixed the chest like I asked but was barely was able to let it out by only an inch and a half total. So now Im stuck with a dress that digs in my stomach when I sit down. Im hoping I can lose a few pounds before the wedding so that Im not totally uncomfortable the entire day of my wedding.Would not recommend this place. But, if you do decide to shop here, ask a ton of questions and be very sure that if your dress doesnt fit that it actually can be altered to fit you, unlike mine was.

I was very discouraged when looking for my wedding dress because most of the stores I visited had dresses that were either too small or way too big so I wasnt able to really see myself in a dress until visiting Strut. Tamiko was soooooo helpful, she let me pick the dresses I wanted as well as figuring out my style and offering several suggestions. Let me start by saying Yulina was amazing! I had previously tried on dresses at Davids Bridal (horrible experience) and a plus size shop in Sacramento but hadnt found the one. Yulina sat with us and went over everything before we started looking at dresses but then came the best part. From my previous experience I knew I needed a size 28/30 dress. I asked Yulina which dresses were that size so I could try them on and she said they take the sizes out of the dresses and not to worry because everything would fit me!! What?!?! It was amazing. I was limited by my budget but nothing else. I never felt rushed even when we went over my appointment time and everyone was super nice. I said yes to me dress on 06/22/2019 and get so excited every time I think about it. Thank you Strut Bridal!

Strut is the place to go for all sizes but specifically plus size brides. I got the wedding dress to die for and at a very reasonable price. I also got a 2nd wedding dress for 70% off.

Fast! Friendly, easy, and not very expencive for fancy frilly stuff. And there were enough comfy places for me and my son to sit while my wife shopped.

My friend bought her dress at Strut and highly recommended it to me. My first day of wedding dress shopping I booked an appointment there and at Davids bridal (just in case). Who knew that Id be finding my dress right away. First of all you walk in and you feel the positive vibe. Yulina was my specialist and i just cant express how happy and grateful I was to have someone like her help me out. I was so nervous, but Yulina was so patient, nice, and helpful. I was set on a style, but Yulina encouraged me to try different ones, which I truly thank her for, otherwise I know I would have regreted not keeping an open mind. Shed make reasonable suggestions but never trying to impose or pressure me to buying anything, and was very good at showing me a variety of dresses within my price range/budget. She was friendly and accomodating to everyone who went with me that day. Once I narrowed it down to two dresses, she helped me choose the right veil to complete it, she put it on me and I immediately knew which dress was the one. So happy with the experience. YULINA thank you so much for everything! Needless to say I cancelled my Davids bridal appt. Highly recommend it!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT IMPORTANT HERE!I am a Maid of Honor who happens to have spent the last year working at a bridal shop so I know how the business goes. I took my cousin here today for obvious reasons. She has a budget of around 3000 for everything so money was not our problem. She is also a curvy girl, and I thought this would be a perfect place for her to have fun and actually have a bunch of options.Tamiko was our stylist. I should have read the negative reviews so that i would have known not to work with her. She was nice at first when she found out our budget, and she was even good at picking dresses according to what my cousin wanted. It went south from there.By dress 3 we were ready to go. She got snippy with me because i commented about the dresses and i was very involved in the appointment. Very unprofessional. In the bridal industry you work with women all the time. Maintaining a pleasant and FRIENDLY demeanor is extremely important. When she realized that we werent in love and saying yes to her dresses, she stopped caring all together. She barely told me the collection that the dress was in when I asked her.I went and found the dress on the Alure Bridal website and we will NOT be purchasing from here. If you are going to sell someone a dress off the rack, you can at least price it like it has been tried on, and pretend that you care about giving them a great experience!
