Dr Alasil and his team are very professional and thorough. Very warm and caring.

This is just not a good practice, unfortunately. It is nearly impossible to make a follow up appointment. The phone system plays hold music for 15 minutes, then asks you to leave a voicemail that is never returned. The Optometrist will not allow more than one person to look in the glasses cases at one time, and the billing department is unable to explain the charges that they are billing for. We sure gave them a try, but Id advise going elsewhere.

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the Medical Receptionist, I never felt like a “patient “. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The wait was not real long considering how busy the office was. I saw a lot of smiles and felt that I had walked in someone’s home instead of a medical facility. My PA spoke in words I could understand and I felt very informed of my treatment. I will definitely return to this location. I feel my eyesight is “good hands”.

I was very impressed with staff and Dr. Lee. They are friendly and professional. The attention provided by the staff to all of their patients deserves recognition. Thank you all.Since then I have had to go back and because there was an error with my prescription. I now have waited three weeks and I still dont have my replacement lenses. I have called several times and left messages for them to return my call. I have not received a call. The last time I called the person that answered the phone seamed to think I was wrong for asking to speak to the Optical Department of Dr. Lee. I can assure you that once I get my replacement lenses I will never go back to the Long Beach office. They were very rude and kept interrupting me.

Dr Strand is amazing. Ive been to three other surgeons. My vision has improved more since seeing Dr Strand. Than it had after seeing all three of the others. In far less time. The staff at the acuity eye group and retina center. Is top notch. Polite, helpful and professional. I couldnt be happier. And wont go anywhere else.

Dr Terek Alasil is a fantastic ophthalmologist ! He has been my 😇 Angel. This Physician is obviously dedicated and cares very much about his patients !! I’m always welcomed by the entire team, with outstanding professionalism, kindness and courtesy . I really like the Acuity Eye Group & Retina Institute of California - Long Beach office. Specifically, the entire team seems to work cohesively and efficiently in assisting patrons with their needs.Having worked in customer service positions before, I’m somewhat hypersensitive to the moods and behaviors associated with providing services to the public at large.Everyone I’ve encountered to date has been kind, courteous and professional without being condescending or insincere. That’s a big plus.Dr. Tarek Alasil is personable, knowledgeable and efficient as is Dr. Juliane Lee, who’s infectious personality makes you smile.I admit I’m a bit surprised at how engaging everyone is considering most places are so clinical and a bit stuffy.The Optician Raquel Colon is awesome. She really made this an extraordinarily pleasant experience with her wonderfully charming personality and winning banter. Truly, I am impressed.I would recommend this office wholeheartedly and without reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

I would not recommend this place, Firs they lied over the price they will charge for the glasses prescription. I was charge double of what they said over the phone. Second i have been trying to contact them for a simple question i have regarding the prescription and it has been impossible to speak to someone. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!

My experience at Acuity Eye group is always good and what makes the experience good is the staff cant remember everyone by namebut its OK but everyone is always respectful. Everyone I come across is always 😉 cool seem like they work well together I would definitely recommend this place to familyand friends

My son has had his eyes checked here over the last two years. Now I cant get someone to actually answer the phone. I have called 8 times at various times over the last three days and Ive just been on hold for up to 8 minutes.

I love this opthamologist and the staff. I was in and out in an hour. The staff are friendly with great personalities. Dr. Grant and his staff are kind, knowledgable, and caring and the office is clean. I have no problem sending my family there.

The staff members are professional, patient & effective. Above all they are kind & understanding to needs & challenges of individual patient under their care. My mother & I are pleased with your service.

Dr. Strand is very good and .meticulous.He has reduced my fear of eye injections.I did not feel the needle. Excellent communication skills helped me feel more at ease. Needles scare the hell out of me.

Technicians were fast and efficient like an oiled machine; no significant wait time

This place used to be good, but now theyre terrible. They moved into an ugly medical building far from everything. And, the other day, when I went there, there were already a ton of people ahead of me in the waiting room. I had gone all the way across town to see them, and then had to wait another hour in their waiting room. Then, after waiting an hour, they told me my vision insurance had been deactivated, so they couldnt see me. I think any professional medical office would have caught that problem when they first scheduled my appointment. Thanks for wasting my entire day Acuity.

At first front staff not very friendly. Example: Co wokers talking (gossiping) to each other. Not acknowledging my presents. But after the back staff very attentive, friendly and excellent customer services.Dr. very concern and knowledgeable. I would recommend to family and friends.

Staff and Dr. Strand and very efficient and courteous. This is a very proffessional staff.

I would give at least 4 1/2 stars to the medical and optometry departments, but I suggest going elsewhere to get your actual eyeglasses. The optometrist was constantly trying to pressure me into more expensive lenses, and the frames she tried to sell me all seemed to be cheap and outdated.

First class operation all the way from receptionists to MDs.I would rather drive one hour each way from PV area to this office for my eye cares.

I started having eye issues. I received prompt and efficient service from the staff and found Dr. Alasil to be very competent and caring.

For dr. Strand and his staff I would give it a ten it was pleasant on time and stress free. not so for other doctors on other days.

Really POOR experience at this office. I was referred to them for a pythergium in one of my eyes. On my first visit I go through multiple tests and meet with Dr. Renner to examine my eyes. The entire process takes over 2 hours which is absurd but ok at least I have gotten all the tests out of the way and the Dr. is going to provide a diagnosis on my pythergium. Dr. Renner then informs me that she is not the pythergium specialist and I will have to come back and see Dr. Grant on another visit. What a complete waste of time I think but at least I got all the eye tests out of the way. I come back two weeks later to see Dr. grant and guess what they want to run all the tests again. My appointment is at 10:30am so I let them know I cant spend 2 hours on this visit because I have things to do. The staff then tells me I have to do all the tests again and that I should re-schedule because there are 4 patients ahead of me and they are children so that takes extra time. Unbelievable that the expectation is I have to spend 2 hours or more on each visit when I spend less than 10 minutes with the actual doctor. Staff and Doctors are nice but have absolutely no respect for their patients time. Do not recommend unless you enjoy waiting in an office...

I havent even been there yet. I called this morning and was put on hold for over 5 minutes and they didnt get back to me so I hung up and called back and the excuse I got was I am the only one in the office. She was rude and piss poor customer service . I am glad I found out before I was seen there.

Dr. Grant was knowledgeable and helped me to understand what was going on with my eyes.

There were a lot of patients when I went but I was only there about an hour. Everyone was very friendly, professional and courteous.

Dr. Grant and Kenya have sent my son and I threw the ringer. They do not care. They never have answers and say they going to call you back never do. I have nothing nice to say about them
