I’ve heard so many good things about Olives and it lived up to the hype. I came for a Sandwich, left with pumpkin pie and some specialty ingredients. Staff is friendly and fast! The way they all work behind the small deli counter making sandwiches is incredible, they didn’t skip a beat. Ordered the #14- Broadway with pesto, fresh tomatoes, extra olive tep & pressed. I’ll be back tomorrow for a different sandwich.

This is another gem in Long Beach...they have a back kitchen that they make specialty foods and salads on a smaller scale like a Whole Foodsdeli and they also have in their one cooler deserts and packaged soups and other items to pick up for an easy fresh wholesome meal. They have gourmet salad dressings bottled and so much more. You must visit.

If they asked me where is the best food for lunch and dinner in Long Beac? No doubt in my mind this is the place. Employees are clean, courteous, professional, attentive and the owners phenomenal. Food is a 12 not a 10........Dont take my word, try it and get hooked!

Just moved to Long Beach and people have been recommending Olives Gourmet Grocer so we bought a bunch of items for a dinner party including the salmon, quinoa, beet salad, cucumber salad, kale salad, chicken cutlet, etc.. and it was SO GOOD!The people who work here are very friendly and accomodating. Olivers on Broadway was lovely as always. They have the best chili salmon and I get food from their case every time I go. Today I was particularly hungry and ordered their Sweet Marina. It is a panini with turkey and other delicious things like apricot paste to make this a tasty delight. I was on some metal haze and got home without picking up my sandwich. Luckily, Im only a few blocks away.anf when I got back they had my sandwich wrapped and still warm.

Olives recently catered our wedding and it was AMAZING! We had a combination of hot and cold apps that were served as requested over a couple hours. Ever item held up perfectly throughout the event. Weve had so many compliments so far and my sister in law even has them catering here wedding. My mother in law coordinated with the Olives team who was kind and attentive in placing the order and getting it to us. All around 10/10 for service, presentation and taste. Looking forward to the next time I can utilize their catering services again.

Cant beat these sandwiches. Eat em while theyre hot. And the staff is always nice af. Dont forget to grab yourself a pint of jennis ice cream on your way out.

Olives Gourmet grocer may appear small but it is mighty. So much to see on their tightly pack shelves and in their beckoning refrigerated cases. Go slow and take your time. Maybe start by ordering something from their prepared selections or just a sandwich. The nightly meals are spectacular. So much to choose from and all so good!

Fantastic place to get cheese or charcuterie in one of the best areas of Long Beach. Wines available were unique, but a little pricy, which will happen with wine anyways. Beer selection was very craft and local. Cant wait to try the sister restaurant Taste next door.

Paninis, salads, wines. desserts. a wonderful variety of dishes. look around the store after you ordered from the deli and pick up some gourmet groceries.

Olives Gourmet Grocer. Olives on Broadway. Olives School of Sandwichcraft and Wizardy. Whatever you want to call them wont convey what they got going on. I used to call and ask what the lunch special is, then I stopped asking--it doesnt matter what it is. They serve delicious sandwiches daily, without fail, with a little salad (no iceberg b.s.), for under $10. Dial ahead and pick one up, or pick off of the menu.They also do a dinner on weekdays, and if you want some other tasty thing, youll find plenty of that too. If you dont know, now you know.

Love is not a strong enough word for what I feel for my local grocery .... Its more of a hippopotamus . Because its rare its made beautiful and powerful and its for sure the deadliest thing on the Beach. They do a wonderful job here and Im lucky to be apart of the Belmont shore community

Unfortunately had to change my 5 star review.. last couple times I have came in for chicken enchiladas there have been multiple bone fragments in it. Im sorry but for 17 bucks for 2 piece I dont expect to have to take the bones out. If you dont know how to debone chicken maybe buy it boneless. Also the enchiladas were horrible today. Overpriced is ok if the quality and flavor are there. I feel olives has gone down hill lately.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Perfect spot to grab a bottle of wine or Hors doeuvres for a dinner party. Their fresh made sandwiches are to die for, perfect for lunch. And I love their deli/hot food by the pound. Changes every day and a perfect quick way to have a home made dinner. Last night had short rib, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. Delish.

A visiting friend asked where she might get some good sandwiches near where I live and I was drawing a blank, since sandwiches arent really something I go for in the evening times. So I searched sandwiches on Yelp just to see what would come up and here was this place! OK, I think I knew somewhere in the back of my brain that they had good sandwiches, but Id never tried them. Well Ive sure been missing out these past few years! I was excited when I saw that they had the Muffuletta (a New Orleans specialty) on their menu--ever since trying one like 20 years ago Im always curious to see if any outside of NO measures up. Id have to say this is the closest its come for me in terms of flavor, and it was very good. It does not come on the same round bread, though, but it wasnt a dealbreaker. The second sandwich I got here was the Spicy Steve--it was indeed spicy with great flavor; I loved it! Next time I think Ill try their egg salad, which is another favorite. Things arent cheap here but youll be assured of great quality. Im so glad this locations the one that stayed open (the one on 2nd St is now closed)--Ill be sure to take advantage more often in the future. Oh, and I love it that they have McConnells and Jennis ice creams here.

This is my goto sandwhich shop now. Reasonable prices for the quality and flabor you get from a sandwich. The staff is always great and you can call in your order ahead of time.My favorite items is the RBS. It has good flavour overall with an occasional spicy moment. One of my favorite roast beef sandwiches that balances all of the flavors and doesnt overkill the amount of meat.They also have other selections like pre-made salads, pastas, and speciality products.
