Sorry maneger.. you the really laziest manager in the company ..and I will call the corporate compliant about the store .. after I will call the health department.. if I dont see some improvement in the store .. clean your store in and out its food store .. and health matters as you see from some pic. A few months into the pandemic I recall wanting to write a review for markets for very similar reasons. My review pertains to my most recent visit. Working a customer facing job day in and day out can be different for every employee -- especially during a pandemic.Digital Payment: Takes Samsung, not Apple, Pay. I dont know of other forms of digital payment.Customer Service: Good though you may have to walk to the front to find an employee.Products: Decent selection though I dont really shop here anymore.The store can seem messy. I dont know whats going on with the mens bathroom-- it needs a heavy duty cleaning. The aisles are big. The parking lot is a decent size.

Usually understaffed. 2-3 isles open and no self checkout. Big company treating their employees bad and it shows. Sucks because its right next to me but I drive to ralphs instead.

With all of the money these supermarket chains make, youd think they could afford to get those filth covered sidewalks power washed a few times a year.

This grocery store has an excellent array of groceries, which includes a wonderful selection of fresh produce. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The prices are outstandingly low w/o scrimping on the quality. They also offer curbside pickup and delivery. All in all, a great place to shop...

Awesomeness I had my bonus card and coupons. Everything looked fresh. The young man with the broom was going up and down aisles being respectful cashiers very friendly.

Great selection with reasonable prices. Wednesdays they place wine, beer, and liquor sales.They used to have the best salsa around! Unfortunately they stopped carrying their spicy salsas (as in very very spicy) so they now only have generic tasting salsa...

I shop with instacart and this is the best grocery store in Long Beach.

This store location is one of the better locations. They are usually fully stocked and of course as with most grocery stores the morning shoppers get in and out in a flash!!

This was my first time going to this Food 4 Less. Well I am a critic. Im going to tell you the truth employees was polite security guard was polite my goodness they have fresh vegetables fresh fruits they have sales like never before I bought a humongous bag of bananas $3.99. The store was Clutter free. Every isle was well-stacked, anything you wanted was there. Parking is great the lines were not long all the cashiers will Open. I recommend this Food 4 Less I live in Los Angeles. I was out there with family visiting. When you go inside the atmosphere is very pleasant. This food for less is well kept. I dont know who manages this Food 4 Less but it is well kept.

Good variety, especially fresh produce, and always fair prices - no price gouging like some grocery chains are famous for doing. They also dont play tricks like jacking up prices and then offering club specials like most chains do. Its simply always lower prices.

Low prices. Friendly staff. Not an elite clientele, but who cares. They sell fish at the butcher counter and will bread and fry it for you right there for a dollar. Havent tried it, but it smells delicious. Bakery is good. Deli, not so much. Again, great prices! Helpful staff.

I love the new layout of the store. It made my shopping trip a breeze. Although I was little disappointed to find the fresh seafood counter closed down for good. I always looked forward to buying the best catfish nuggets in town from there. I think that I get the best per pound when I purchase in bulk, instead of purchising several small packages.

Customer service is always good, no long lines this afternoon. I like the fresh vegetable prices here. The meat selection is always decent. All of the security locked items make me sad, but I get it.

A lot of Ralphs products, at much lower prices. They have excellent Mexican pastries and lots of varieties of tortillas to choose from. Produce is good quality, nice selection and very reasonable prices compared to the major chains. Crowd can be a bit challenging at times.

Always chaos. Parking lot is chaos, store is chaos. I want to like this store because I appreciate how many inexpensive organic items they have, which is always nice. However, lines are always really long and theres always someone having an issue at the register that takes a significant amount of time to fix, which holds up the lines. But, I can almost always find what I need and again, a lot of organic options for a relatively low price.

This Food 4 Less is similar to others. The one thing that stands out most is the sheer number of associates available for help and the number of checkout lanes open. Though the place was packed I was able to get in and get out asap. As always, their prices are the lowest of all the major grocery chains in this area. Highly recommended.

I shop here for convenience. Dont buy the produce here, not very fresh, may last a week. Fresh meat and chicken area are okay. Everything else is fine. Big plus 1: Prices are low. Plus 2 & 3: Its never really busy and checkers are always nice.

This is my neighborhood store, I pass by it everyday on my way from work and shop there very often due to the convenience. The cashiers are always friendly.The one thing I would appreciate is a cleaner parking lot, it has become disgusting and seems to be getting worst. Store Manager you need to have a better cleaning rhythm, even your trash containers are filthy and overflowing at all times. Also the trash dumpster in the back of the building overflow in a weekly basis, makes the neighborhood look dirty and cheap.As a neighbor I would appreciate you paying some attention to correcting this issue.Sincerely,Your neighbor.

Its a pales to shop for food!

Add items good price. Other items prices are high. Some regular items have good prices. Plenty of parking. Nice employees. But you cant find them walking in the store if you need help reaching something or for questions,just at checkout. Produce has been high priced and to old. Meat is expensive here. But its close to me so I go there often. Its kept clean except the restroom.

I visit this store out of convenience. Customer service from management isnt the best. Once I returned a watermelon that wasnt ripe and the manager didnt give me a refund!! The cashiers are what save this place from total lack of quality customer service. I must admit that overall food prices are very good though!!!

Reasonable prices. Sale always going on. I was security there. At my time I slowed down the theft, the homeless and panhandlers in front of the store. Nice place to shop and get more than what you bargain for.

Love this store! I can rely on wide selection and awesome prices. It is a little given to the homeless description but so what? Whats wrong with being homeless? In life there are all sorts of people and situations. If you cut yourself off from them based on prejudice, you limit your own potential to grow as a person.

Whatever youre looking for you probably will find it here. This location has the best International Foods and items. And a lot of things thats not in season they have those too.

I buy most of my groceries at Food4Less, Long Beach and Signal Hill stores. Brand name and their own labels are first class products. Most important: can buy excellent products at unbeatable low prices.

This is my go to grocery store since its so close to home. The prices are fair and the quality is always pretty good. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The ONLY qualm I have is the people it attracts due to the neighborhood....there always tends to be off-putting individuals lurking about, whether theyre just some loony shouting obscenities or someone hawking their black market DVDs in the parking lot, its always an adventure (I would like to note that their security has always been helpful in regards to these interactions though). Parking can be a bit stressful as people can be pretty inconsiderate to pedestrians (Ive gotten nearly ran over a multitude of times here just walking in the lot).

They dont have every brand on some things, prices are consistently better than elsewhere. Plenty of parking. Self-service lane that I love

Always way better deals than, Whole foods. Literally went to whole foods and everything was way overpriced and walked right out. And back to my Food 4 less.

There was a price discrepancy on a food item and the manager on duty was extremely helpful and accommodating. She followed up with the cashier to make sure that I was given the correct price. Thank you again.

Parking lot is over crowded and long lines in the store. A child was literally screaming at his mother the entire time we were shopping. Good selection of produce prices are comparable to other markets maybe .10 cheaper on some items. Beef prices are higher than Stater Brothers this week but pork is less expensive. Very large store with wide isles.

Kinda nasty and dirty. If you want warehouse prices, go to Smart and Final. Prices just as good, but the place is oh so much nicer. Only three blocks from Food for Less

This is the closet food 4 less to my neighborhood. Buying groceries here is substantially cheaper than buying groceries at target so its worth the trip. It isnt that big of a food 4 less, so unless youre vegan or something theyll have everything you need.

The store is hugh, great for major shopping! Prices are good. Some of the checkers are on the blah side.

Ample selection. Lots of Kroger branded items. Lots of Hispanic foods, tried lime mayo for first time! Lines can take 15-20 minutes at busy times.

Dumpy store, poor selection, it was hard to find a loaf of bread that was not stale, produce was expensive as were other items...and overall feel of a safe and satisfying shopping experience was not there. I did find Lofthouse cookies (1star) & I found $2.19 soup on sale for 99 cents (1star)

This food 4 less replaced a Ralphs few years back, so the store is still new. They have good produce and very good if not the best prices in our neighborhood. I like the staff.and find them friendly and helpful. Only thing I dont like is they close at 11 or 12 and thats a bit early for me. Wish they stayed open to at least 1 or 2 am

The meat department with fresh food and great customer service has been removed.

I always enjoy this food4less the manager Virginia is the best ever I am a disabled Vietnam vet and she always go out of the way to help me..I only try to shop when she is there and always at the selveserve checkout..

I like this store because most stuff is cheap but DONT buy there meat. Everytime I try to buy meat from the one by my house it was bad. I even tried going to one further away and the meat smelled bad in that store. When I returned it 10 min later they didnt even care. They do not handle there meat properly and Im surprised they havent been sued for making someone sick.

Warehouse type grocery store in a diverse neighborhood. Friendly checkers. Often crowded on weekends and evenings. Lots of parking. House brand is Koger.

This shopping trip was actually a very good one for me since I managed to get the cherries and seedless watermelon that were both on sale plus of course more things that we either needed or wanted, all within 30 minutes, so it was very good as far as Im concerned since it usually takes me much longer to shop .

I can get a lot cheaper items here then getting the same item elsewhere. Have to pack own groceries which is ok. You dont get smashed bread or bananas.

Big market but not easy to overview for a non foreigner. Looking for prizes is sometimes a challenge. But there are a lot of good offers changing every week. Lot of stuff is cheaper than on other places but really not everything. You should compare!

Good food and prices. I get their sandwiches and other ready to eat foods. Take advantage of the manager markdowns.

I really like this market cause its spacious and they have great deals. Also, they are one market that actually sells ripened produce which I appreciate as opposed to large aesthetic produce that tastes bland and hard as a rock. But must of all why I like this market so much is because, you guessed it, the ceviche! They consistently have great white fish ceviche at a great price. Also I cant forget to mention how pleasant the deli attendants and the check out workers are. The store has plenty of self check out registers but if you cant get to one at least you can count on that your experience will be a good one at the cashiers register.

Parking lot has a lot of loitering people thats makes one feel unsafe. Food is fresh and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful

Prices ok but produce is super sketchy.. I picked up a bunch of grapes and it started dripping. I turned the bag and half were completely rotten...pay extra close attention to anything that could spoil. Even after you get it home

Good enough for my needs. I was there looking for yeast once and couldnt find it. I asked someone for help. She didnt know what yeast was. I tried explaining that it was for making bread. Didnt help...

This place is literally the entrance to The Slumlord section of town since Ralphs closed .It used to be a clean area with no hustlers in front threatening you While the low budget irresponsible security lets people damage or steal your bike .Its under poor management.The employees are not taught social skills for a professional adult environment.The under management is extremely under qualified for anything other than moving boxes .I would not hire or trust with my business anyone there but three or four cashiers that have been there the 15 years Ive been regularly shopping there .Totally unprofessional lack of ability to cope .Total racist insults and socially demeaning behavior encouraged by their employees .Race and social class shaming from other customers.People want to be treated equal right ? People there need to be fired for sure its a mess .

Couldnt get information from employees! Which is time consuming. Butt, overall it’s a pretty good place to shop, not toooo expensive, great deals.

Large store, very friendly employees, fresh fruit and you can find good fast food places in that vicinity, all walking distance.

Inexpensive and general fast lines. The fried fish is amazing!
